Clean very nice big rooms with private pool and jacuzzi. Friendly and nice staff , nice shared pool area, good resturant with ok prices and good brekfast.

I started with high expectations, and the experience surpassed my expectations. The staff were very attentive, the room was comfortable, the private pool was heated to just the right temperature, food and drinks were tasty. My partner has several food sensitivities, which were always catered for.

We had a suite with private pool with sea view a little way from the main lodge so were transported by golf cart. Staff were excellent and meals had acceptable options. Extra cost al la carte also available. A perfect place for a complete chill out.

Situated in Chamarel, this property has everything: yoga in the mornings, bikes to ride around on, shuttles to the beach, and even a hike up to Piton Canot. Facilities include a restaurant, a view bar for sundowners, and a communal pool. The rooms are lovely too - quaint, private, and just stunning (especially the private pool plunges!). A very nice visit.

got the beachfront suite for 3 nights one week ago. The stay was nice and enjoyed the private pool. Room was clean and very satisfied with its size, path, and shower. The bed was comfortable. Privacy of private pool was good but could be enhanced. I wished if terrace had better privacy. Food options for dinner is limited to 4 main dishes. Overall experience was excellent.

Though the property and the staff in itself is very good its in a very remote location. Also We faced some issues with the Air conditioner which was eventually fixed the next day. We had booked the highest category room - beach facing with private pool. However, lack of hot water in private pool / Jacuzzi made it useless. Barring these two things we had a fabulous stay. Location is in the middle of nowhere and Taxis are really expensive.

Hôtel staff was at thé réputation of mauritius people very Nice and always with smile: room was perfect' with private pool So excellent for my baby of 6 month, and because the only négative point i havé is'thé beach: small one,and was expected much better from m'y last trip few years ago: Other very positive point here is thé food : very light with meat, fish, vegetarian food on each dinner: alcool was bit expensive with glass of wine Arround 10 gbp. Conclusion if'you ré looking for an amazing beach not best choice of hotel if not to there will be an excellent choice.

The hotel is ideal for people who like to stay on-resort. There are lots of watersports, included in the package, including jet-skiing. There are a number of pools, spa facilities, gym, pool table and a beautiful beach. The beachfront private pool villa we stayed in was phenomenal. There really isn't anything else in walking distance in the local area other than alternative hotels. The town of Grand Baie, which is quite nice and situated on a beautiful lagoon, is about a 15 minute drive away. The beach is really beautiful but not very long as it is closed off on both sides by rock banks. You'll have to visit other beaches in the locality if you like long walks on the beach. The food was excellently prepared at breakfast, lunch and dinner. But if you have a restrictive diet like me (no red meat and no dairy) there wont be much to choose from. That was the only real issue I had with the hotel as I ended up eating the same handful of meals for most of the stay unless we went outside. The staff are very friendly, the pool / bar guys are brilliant at keeping your drinks topped up and great fun too. My wife and I stayed for 12 days and loved it.

We travelled for our wedding anniversary and decided on a bit of luxury. The ambiance and location of Angsana was simply delightful and despite some bad weather we enjoyed our stay. We had our 7 month old baby with us and the staff at the Angsana were so helpful and friendly - in particular Kiran and Renu. Mauritians clearly love children and the resort was very accommodating. Not the easiest to get around with a pram, but we managed thanks to a strong husband! The kitchen prepared some baby food although this needs to be ordered in advance. We skipped the spa (too expensive) but enjoyed the food. The staff were professional and helpful in a relaxed, friendly way. Our Garden room was lovely even though we thought we booked the beach front room (with private pool and jet bath) so after initial disappointment we were overall very happy with our stay and would stay there again!

Wonderful, brand new hotel. Hard working staff, great food. We felt Elite Club was worth the extra.....exclusive pool with plentiful Bali beds and its own bar serving food and upgraded drinks overlooking the sea, quiet and blissful. We didn't want to go home!

We had a wonderful 10 night stay at the hotel with the Junor Suites Elite Club service. The promises made in the preliminary description of the hotel and services were fully fulfilled. Very kind and professional staff, excellent restaurant service, great, comfortable and clean rooms. The pools, garden and beach are well maintained. As a regular and frequent traveler (more than 50 hotels), I don't know what to make of the blind, negative reviews I've read before. Maybe they weren't even in this hotel?! The hotel has been recently renovated and it has great facilities. The rooms are spacious and equipped with proper modern furniture and appliances. The territory is huge and green, and it is taken care of very well. There are plenty of pools, and the beach is very spacious. The service is excellent - all the staff is always friendly, knowledgeable and happy to assist. The variety of food in the main restaurant is great and everything is fresh and delicious. A la carte restaurants (tried 4 of them) were absolutely amazing!

Beautiful hotel in Le Morne. Building is new and in very good condition. The staff was amazing every time, from checkin to breakfast, lunch, dinner and bar service. Pools are nice and there are plenty of sunbeds around, in case the ocean is not welcoming. Food was very good, with plenty of choices. The RIU app is not the best, but that’s not something this hotel can fix.

My experience at the Riu Palace was exceptional. The staff were consistently warm and welcoming, and the bartenders in particular went out of their way to remember guests’ preferred drinks, which added a personal touch to the service. The food was enjoyable, and I appreciated the flexibility of being able to explore both sides of the resort. I occasionally visited the buffet on the all-ages side before returning to the adults-only area for another meal. It’s worth noting that the main restaurants operate on a first-come, first-served basis, so guests should plan accordingly. Overall, I had a phenomenal stay. However, I did encounter one unfortunate incident. On the day of a late excursion, housekeeping attempted to clean my room in the morning, but I had chosen to sleep in and asked them to return later. I left the room around 5:30 p.m., and upon returning at 7:30 p.m., I found the room had not been serviced. I contacted the front desk, and although I felt uncomfortable requesting cleaning around 8 p.m., I had already placed the used linens on the floor and hoped to have fresh ones upon my return. Regrettably, I made the mistake of leaving a bag with cash on the dresser rather than securing it in the safe. The next morning, I noticed approximately 6,000 rupees (about $132 USD) were missing. I did not report the incident to the front desk, as I acknowledged it was my responsibility to use the safe. For future travellers , I strongly recommend securing all valuables.

Prior to the travel all comms with Ken, the site manager, was clear and helpful. He welcomed us on arrival and explained the apartment facilities. All were as described to make our stay very special. Rooms were large. Beds large and very comfortable. Cleaning every other day. Bathroom and pool towels all provided saving luggage. Good kitchen facilities although we had arranged external catering for our party of 8 + baby, so was used for breakfast and lunch only. The pool was a good size to allow a decent swim with shallow areas for small kids.

The pool was fabulous and the apartment was spacious. Great facilities, great balcony and the owners very welcoming. We made the most of the tennis court, the gym and the pool.

My family and I loved our stay at VillaSun. From start to finish, everyone went the extra mile for us. Valerie, Clifford and the rest of the team went above and beyond. We were able to check in early on the day of our arrival. We had an evening flight on the day we checked out and Valerie and Clifford allowed us to stay until 6 pm with no extra charge. The Villa was lovely and spacious enough for 3 couples. Each bedroom has air conditioning and its own bathroom. The facilities were wonderful, we used the pool and the fitness studio there but didn't get round to using the tennis court. During our stay we were expecting a Cyclone to reach the Villa, in the days leading up to it Valerie was kind enough to brief us on what to do in the event it progressed and reached us - she provided emergency lighting which thankfully we did not need to use. Our villa was cleaned top to bottom every two days by the cleaning staff. It was a wonderful surprise coming back to a spotless home! To add to the long list of great things about this place, there is overnight security with locking gates and perimeter security cameras to make sure you're well looked after. Myself and my family cannot thank everyone here enough for making our stay so wonderful. If you are looking for somewhere to stay in and around Flic-En-Flac - VillaSun is the place to be.

Very well appointed apartment, large shady balcony overlooking the pool, well equipped kitchen for self-catering, beautiful, lush gardens, tranquil location, the only sounds being the wind through the palm trees and the birds chirping. Hosts Clifford and Valerie were second to none - gave us a warm, friendly and professional welcome, always ready to chat, help and advise. Housekeeping excellent (three times per week), night security guard Nathoo always smiling and friendly.

It was well equipped, spacious, every bedroom had good air conditioning, only a 10 minute walk to the lovely beach, there was nothing we needed as the villa had it all. Although the pool is on the small side, it was great to cool off after sunbathing…..just perfect.

We booked very spontaneously and had the whole Villa to ourselfs. The owners welcomed us very warmly and showed us everything. Our room was very comfortable, the bathroom looked very new, big kitchen, we could use the washing mashine, in walking distance to shops, restaurants and the beach. All in all a very nice and comfortable stay!! We would definitely stay here again.

We had such an amazing time at the Golden Square Villa. The host, Mr Vidz, was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. He was also easily reachable on his phone, which was a huge comfort and made the whole experience stress-free. ​We were so impressed with how beautiful the villa was. The pool was a huge highlight for us, and the rooftop provided the perfect spot to unwind. The location is ideal for exploring, but honestly, the place is so great, you'll be tempted to just stay in and enjoy it. ​A definite 10/10—we highly recommend it and will be back again.

It is a secured gated villa which offers good security. There was everything in the Villa you needed for a comfortable stay. The owner Mr Vidz is very knowledgeable, attentive and responds to all your queries promptly. This is very helpful especially when you are staying in a new area. He is a fantastic host. Pool was cleaned several times during our stay.

The villa was very clean and we could see that it is well-taken care of. It is a quiet area so it is best for chill barbecues with friends and the comfort was up to our expectations. I also liked the fact that it is close to the natural pool, where we got to enjoy a beautiful sunset.

The Host was exceptionally friendly and helpful while the whole trip. He even brought a traditional breakfast and helped with planing trips. If I had a question he was very quick and helpful with the response. the pool was cleaned three times a week. AC in every room

The house is just AMAZING. Christell- the maid- is basically the best- keeps everything superclean, cooks delicious meal, she also worked as a manager for our dreams to realize : such as a swimming with whales and dolphins, massages, deep sea fishing trips etc.

Everything about the villa is great. Angelica and Dominique are amazing hosts and welcomed us with drinks and a fruit basket and shared information about the villa. They showed us around and explained things and were so kind to then provide a special gift of beautiful flowers to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Angelica and Dominique gave us some suggestions of places to visit and places to eat. The villa is big, but still feels cozy for a couple. The pool is one of the largest in the area and offers really good swimming. We love the garden with its mature palm trees and plants and the birds and butterflies are attracted to it. It is so nice to watch and listen to the wildlife from a sun lounger! The villa itself felt safe, secure, quiet and very private and its location in Riviere Noire is perfect for exploring the South and central regions of Mauritius, as well as being very close to amazing beaches and some spectacular sunsets. We wish we could have stayed longer even though we were there for nine days! We hope to return soon.

Our stay was absolutely amazing, house is well equipped perfectly for family or group of people, nice pool to have a rest after hot day, nice garden full of coconut palms. Riviere Noire is ideal place to explore south of Mauritius and Black River Georges national park. Owners of the house Angelica, Dominique as well as Jacques can not be more helpful. In case of traveling in group I will definitely come back!

We had such a fantastic stay here! Angelica & Dominique played such amazing hosts with welcome drinks and fruit, and always checked in on us ensuring we were having a great time or if we needed anything! The villa is beautiful, well equipped, and clean! Perfect for families and groups of friends for sure! Also very convenient with eating options within walking distance, and the beach too!

The host provided us with numerous amenities to make our stay comfortable and gave us a homely feel. The property is beautiful and the pool with jacuzzi are well maintained.

This property is exceptional. It far surpassed my expectations. It is very spacious, very well equipped and a nice quiet location. It was only a few minutes drive to Fliq en Flaq beach. The view from the rooftop is beautiful. The host, Dan, is friendly and very helpful. We unfortunately had a tropical cyclone come past during our stay, Dan was very pro active in keeping us in the loop with what was happening with cyclone warnings and the govt imposed curfew due to the storm. If I ever come to Mauritius again I will very happily stay here again.

We were welcomed by our host Marine and she showed and explained us the house. The house will be cleaned daily. The house is brand new and spacious with a great layout with two bedrooms and bathrooms and a well equipped kitchen with all utensils, coffee maker, a water filter/cooler/heater for drinking water etc. There is a an off- street parking spot and a small chill-out swimming pool on the premises. Perfect location for day trips to e.g. Le Morne Brabant and beaches, Port Louis, national park & water falls, tea plantation etc. A large super market including some shops, a coffee house and a couple of good restaurants are within walking distance. We highly recommend Searenity Villas!

Gorgeous villa. Very clean and spacious. The pool is on the smaller side. The beach is within a short walking distance.

Our flight arrived late, so arrangements were made for Cynthia to meet up with us on our arrival. She was very welcoming and showed us around the villa, which is situated in a secured location (a bonus). The 3 main bedrooms were fairly spacious, with air con. The no.1 bedroom had an en suite bathroom, which I and my husband occupied. We appreciated the privacy. In the evening, we could go out onto the roof as there was a seating area that was larger than the spa pool area. Any concerns we had were dealt with fairly quickly.

The location was very safe and clean environment. Swimming pool was cleaned every two days and felt good and perfect for a family trip. Communication with the owner was very helpful..

The villa was big enough and clean. It was a little bit further away from the beach and shops than expected. The caretaker Cynthia was so lovely, and communication with Maison Real Estate Team was good. We requested extra towels (bath/kitchen) and bed linen, which was delivered the following day.

We had a lot of private space. It was supremely quiet with excellent indoor spaces and trees visited by fruit bats each evening. Joanne and Foufou kept the place clean each morning and were fun to chat with as well. The kitchen is fully equipped and the BBQ was a great addition. The pool was small, but clean and very refreshing. Having a car is very important because the three public beaches are kilometers away (2-5 minutes). The local grocery store was shockingly well stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals each day. Communication with the owner was prompt and very supportive.

Casa Del Dodo is perfect for a family holiday in Mauritius. The owners are incredibly flexible and super communicators, even allowing early check-in and late check out to work around flights. The house is huge and would easily suit 8 people, there are 4 big bedrooms, 3 with en suite with showers inside and outside. A well equipped kitchen as well as everything you need to cook outside. The living area is the perfect mix of indoor and outdoor and the pool is great for kids. Faultless stay! You will need a car to get around!

The property was kid friendly, close to the beach, value for money and had a fantastic indoor/outdoor living aspect. We had a fab time with our family. I would highly recommend.

Really a best choice! Cannot believe the sheet, the pillowcase, the towel are all so new! Even embroidered with this place’s name, making it like a five star hotel! The owner is so generate providing many local teabags which are very good. Manager’s name and telephone number are on the wall making it very easy for the customer to find help. Since my airplane is delayed more than five hours so when I arrived at the hotel it is near midnight. Felt so secure when saw the manager Mr Mihary and the guard were there waiting for me. With 5 minutes walk can arrive the big central market. Then 10 minutes can arrive the most famous beach where the hotel is near six fold of this place. Really a good experience.

The location is central to everything! And I mean by everything it's a 5-10mins walk. Bonus is you get amazing cheap food but fresh delicious food in Chinatown easily. The room is spacious and clean! And most importantly the staff are lovely and pleasant...we arrive at 6am and was greeted with a welcoming smile. We are so happy with Kirin we extended directly with them for another night. We were given a sweet surprise treat by management and we really appreciate the experience staying here! For the price and quality this is such a gem to stay in Port Louis. Highly recommended!

Amazing place! Definitely the best hotel in Port Louis. We were taken care very well and we got help anytime we needed it. Particularly helpful was the son of the owner. He would ask as whether we were fine or needed something. After we decided to extend our stay, we received chocolate as a present for being loyal guests. We had an fantastic time and we also found the restaurant splendid. We both agreed that we ate the best pizza margarita ever! Strongly recommended.

The owner Me Mihary is very helpful.He gave an early checkin and clearly informed that the checkout time was 12 noon. He helped me with travel in the island by good advices. The hotel is near to bus station. For budget travellers this is a very good option. Central market, waterfront, the museums and everything is walkable. Beaches are just less than one hour in bus and may be 30 minutes in cab. Best value for money. Loved Mauritius and the stay

Good location, clean, big room, beautiful view of the harbor, great value for money, good chinese restaurant downstairs, Mr Mihari did his best to accommodate our needs - he found parking for us, we used his washing machine for free, most of all he made the most elaborate room decor for our honeymoon - rose petals, towel swans, fresh flowers and chocolates. He put more effort than a 5star hotel we stayed in

My family and I were greeted at the airport as we chose the pick up option and everything was seamless after an 11 hours flight. The location was better than expected as it is found in the heart of Flic Flac. The apartment was bigger than expected, clean and had most of the amenities even a washing machine! The apartments were really 2 mins away walk from the beach. We had an array of shops, restaurants, chemist and even a supermarket with even european produce. Pool was great, my kids loved it and the place had a lift which was useful for prams.

Fortuna Beach is located in the centre of flic en flac,2 mins walk to the beautiful beach which stretches for two to three kilometres.There is Jumbo supermarket,Mafioso which is lively during the day and night and you can chill there.The Swimming pool at fortuna beach is big and the apartment had everything.The Tv was very big,Microwave,coffee maker,Oven and air conditioning was perfect.Wifi was very fast and I had a comfortable stay.

Very big and spacious apartment,2 big balconies,Kitchen well equipped with Fridge,Microwave,Coffee maker,Toaster,Oven etc.The rooms were very big with attach bathrooms,Aircon really good,bathrooms with good water pressure.Swimming pool very big and well maintained.

The apartment was big,Clean, WiFi was very good. It had washing machine, cooker, Microwave and was fully equipped. The Balcony where you can enjoy sunset and the big pool.

Fortuna Beach is located in the centre of flic en flac,2 mins walk to the beach and a big Supermarket called Jumbo where every thing is available. There are a lot of cafes ,bars and entertaining places. The room was big and had everything. The Wifi was strong ,It had fridge, flat screen TV and the kitchen was well equipped. The balcony was big and you can have a nice view. The swimming pool is very big and you have loungers to relax and enjoy the sun.
