We loved staying at this hotel. The location was fabulous, close to the Vatican and only a short distance from many other sights. We enjoyed evening walks returning to the hotel after dinner. Staff was exceptional. Very responsive, informed and helpful. We felt extremely well looked after. The accommodation was the perfect choice for us as a family of four. We had two bedrooms and a private pool to enjoy leisure time after sightseeing. The spa was equally good.

Pool is amazing. Pool bar and waiter service was top notch. Beds, bedding and towels were great quality. Poolside drinks were reasonably priced.

This property was gorgeous. The pool area in no way felt like it was in the middle of Rome. The pool was also perfectly chilled and refreshing after long and hot Rome summer days instead of feeling like bathwater directly in the sun. The staff here were all professional and welcoming. Specifically the gentlemen who ran the podium upfront: they were always so friendly, helpful, and courteous. Also Valentina and Matteo at the bar, the kindest people on property. We will definitely be back here. If you want luxury this is your place. A short walk to great restaurants and attractions but out of the main touristy area leaving it quiet. We cabbed a lot to main locations in the morning and the drive was short and no more than twenty euros anywhere.

The biggest advantage of this hotel was the excellent outdoor space, in particular the swimming pool. To come back from walking around the centre of Rome in the August sun and be able to cool off in the large open air pool was fantastic. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we were given an upgraded room which had more space than the standard Premium rooms. As there were 3 of us this was a big benefit. If we return to Rome in the summer months, I would definitely seriously consider staying here again.

We were very well looked after as we were given an upgrade. Our room was clean, cool and comfortable. The breakfast had plenty of choice. the environment where you sit was fresh and very light. The outside area for evening drinks was delightful and so was the pool and pool area, all very well catered for.

This hotel is possibly the nicest I have ever stayed at. The room is gorgeous, the bed comfortable, the hotel itself and the staff are great. The neighborhood of the hotel is really nice (and safe) to walk around. I was able to get to many places by walking or a short cab ride. If this hotel had a pool, it would be paradise.

The hotel is ideally located five minute walk to Saint peters basilica or castle Saint Angelo. About a 15 to 20 minute walk to the Vatican Museum and the Sistine Chapel. All-around hotel our wonderful restaurant and the best part is the staff at the hotel know exactly where to send you for whatever type of me are you are looking for… They referred us on four separate nights in each restaurant was outstanding! Take advantage of the staff… The hotel has a great rooftop deck which even though The bar was open in April because of cooler weather they still deliver drinks from the lobby bar… Or if you just want to sit on the rooftop deck and read a book or look at the view it was excellent! The rooms are ideal and top-notch kindness, the water was always hot in the shower had great water pressure! The bed was comfortable and all staff in the hotel from front door man to room staff at front desk staff - all knowledgable friendly and able to answer any question I had! Highly recommend this hotel !

This is the nicest hotel that we have ever stayed in Italy. We usually stay at more traditional, locally owned, older places. This was like living in luxury. Location was good, not as close to St Peter’s as we are used to, but still only about a 20 minute walk. There were plenty of little shops and restaurants close by, especially Gelateria La Romana. Staff were helpful and pleasant. Nice size room with all the modern conveniences like strong rain shower, big bathtub, big hair dryer, nice bath products, shaving mirror, Marriott mattress, robe and slippers. They had plenty of outlets and lights, although the light switches were a little confusing. The mini fridge was stocked with complimentary water and juices. Nice size closet for hanging clothes and folded clothes. Three modern fast elevators were definitely a plus. The included breakfast was quite nice. If you want the traditional Italian experience, with a shower the size of a small phone booth, stay at the Michelangelo or San Paulo VI right by St Peter’s Square.

This is my second stay at the Meridien Visconti and it continues to please. It is an affordable 4-star hotel within a half-mile walk from Vatican City and other major sites in the city. The staff, for the most part, speaks English, and I found them to be very friendly and attendant to their guests needs. The breakfast bar offers a variety of American and European breakfast dishes and the evening bar has a hometown feel to it where guests mingle in the evenings. The only drawback I can see is for American guests who are used to more spacious rooms, which is not untypical of European hotels. However, the rooms are comfortable, clean, and well maintained. This is an excellent hotel for the price.

A great location convenient to the entire city centre of Rome. Easy walking access to Vatican City, Via del Corso, Piazza del Popolo, the Pantheon and more! Service was excellent, reception was friendly and bell service was great at obtaining taxis timely even on rainy days with high demand. Never waited more than 5 min for a taxi. Onsite restaurant with breakfast, lunch and dinner. The rooftop bar offers a fantastic spot to enjoy good weather with both indoor and outdoor seating and a creative cocktail menu. Room types vary, but with plenty of options for sleeping more than 2 for a family visit. The Urban Suite is an excellent choice if you have 3, especially for families with an older child.

Simply fantastic! What a great Hotel! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay as The First Dolce made us feel so much at home. It deserves more than 5 stars!! Good central location and just a 10min walk to all the shopping & touristy areas in Rome. We stayed in the Deluxe Suite, so spacious and yet so quiet, this, in spite of the fact that we were on the 3rd floor and near a busy street. The bed was super comfy and the room was and smelt so clean, complete with all the basic amenities that made our stay so wonderful. The breakfast was out of this World...we have travelled a lot and stayed in countless Hotels, but this one takes the cake....maybe this breakfast deserves a Michelin star!But it was the Hotel team of Amira, Dana, Alina, Merve & Catalin that made our stay so special. Thank you guys for the cheerful greetings that we got from you every time we met and for your efficiency in meeting all our requests. And not forgetting Bryan, the doorman who is always outside at the main entrance...we felt so safe because of you! 😁

The most exceptional service in the most beautiful city. There are only a few hotels in the world that really understand what outstanding means and this hotel is one of them. From the moment you walk in you feel at home and you are taken care of in such a personal and sophisticated way that makes you never want to leave. All the staff are focused on giving you the best experience in Rome. And it’s all in the details and personalized attention. That’s class. Concierge service outstanding, they immediately understood what we liked in terms of restaurants and every day ensured we had another fabulous experience in another great restaurant. Constant availability through whatsapp is such a personal touch that I have never experienced. But it makes you feel someone is always having your back when discovering Rome and just a text message away to help.

The reception was very wonderful. Mrs. Dana is one of the best people. I really see their love for their job and how they help people. she help us with many reservation .The room was upgraded on the occasion of our wedding anniversary. Mrs. Rodica from the restaurant was one of the kindest people. The way she explained and presented food was more than wonderful. She was the reason that made me add breakfast to the hotel. The variety of cheeses and honey is what made me live my experience in Rome and travel. The cheese was made in the Italian countryside. You can imagine the taste. Also, I do not forget sister Camilla, she was very kind, smiling, and wonderful. Professor Enrico is very great and courteous and helped us with cars and getting quick transportation service.

I just spent the weekend at your hotel.     I want to give you my compliments for the beauty of the hotel and the room we were assigned.    Most importantly the services were exceptionally good.   The ladies in the reception were Top, specially Amira with whom we were fortunate enough to interact the most.  She was very professional, very helpful and most of all very active in anticipating the things we needed before we ever asked, such as booking transfers for dinner etc.  So is the group at the restaurant.  We have always taken breakfast in the room and the service was fast, impeccable and very elegant!  you have a great team there!  take care of them!  

Premium location in Rome, close to the Spanish steps, luxury shopping and Trevi fountain. Everything you need is within walking distance, and if you ever needed a car/Taxi, you can find one easily. The hotel was very clean with a great smell that hits you once you step your foot in the building, very modern. The suite was stunning with a huge bathroom, large bed and modern design. What a great peaceful place to unwind after spending a long day walking/shopping in the beautiful city. Staff was very nice and helpful too. We had to delay our check-in for a day and we were not penalized for that, thanks to management!

Had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The amenities were top-notch, especially the pool and breakfast buffet. Conveniently located near major attractions. Highly recommend for both business and leisure travelers. Will definitely return!

This was an amazing place to stay and we would certainly go back when in Rome. The staff, particularly Oliver the manager, were exceptional. The breakfast, which is included in the price, was delicious. Beautiful building with incredible art, perfect location for walking to sites, shops and restaurants right around the corner. In particular, the dining rooms and bar are stunning, filled with history, art and italian character. I'd say this met my expectations, but only because I did a lot of research and was expecting a fantastic stay. One thing to note, is that all the rooms are different; when we booked on Expedia we spent the extra money for a Premium room, in which the pictures showed a fireplace, sitting area with sofa, armchairs, king bed, and separate bathtub and shower in the bathroom. (I also checked the hotel website description as well, which was the same). Upon arrival, we were taken to a very small room, not particularly pretty, but with an absolutely gorgeous new bathroom w walk-in closet. Given our expectations for the room based on price and photos, we were disappointed. Thankfully, the manager Oliver, after hearing about our concerns, brought us to a room (which resulted in an upgrade due to room availalbity) which was beautiful. If we had been kept in the first room we were given, we would have been very disappointed. So that's my only negative to an otherwise perfect stay.

Staying in the hotel at times felt like entering into a period drama. The entrance, common areas, bar and dining room were beautiful, and had such an intimate, old-world charm. Our room was absolutely stunning, the beds comfortable, the marbled bathroom a work of art. It was also very well stocked with drinks and snacks, and they always left us something delicious after turn-down service. Everyone we interacted with was warm and courteous and attentive, going out of their way to answer our questions and fulfill our requests, and we loved our breakfasts (just wish we had more space for all of it!). We stayed for four nights, and were able to get to all the sights we wanted to see by either walking or, if we wanted to take it easy, taking a bus (there were over half a dozen bus routes that stopped just down the street from the hotel). That said, because of how central the hotel is, there was a bit of noise at night. I'm used to living in cities, so it didn't bother me — I kinda like being able to hear muffled sounds of the city — but if you don't, there is a trade-off between being central and noise. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat on my next visit, the experience was amazing.

Staying at Palazzo Roma was a dream come true. I loved every minute of this absolutely beautiful hotel. Oliver the Concierge and I were in touch before I arrived, he made my travel easy and stress free with help getting transport from the airport. I had asked Oliver about the work of a particular Rome based artist I wanted to see and asked him if he could look into the possibility. When I arrived he was there waiting and every one was so corteous. Mamadu was the valet who met my taxi and helped with my bags. He was so kind and we had such a great conversation, the check in experience was seemless and THE ROOM! It was stunning. It was the perfect home base for a few days of busy sight seeing and room service after a long day was DIVINE! The turn down service was just so beautiful I felt like a princess at Palazzo Roma. Thank you to everyone who made my stay so great. Oliver worked hard to find the artist for me and even followed up after my stay with updates about the artist and where they would be showing next. THANK YOU to Palazzo Roma for a truly remarkable stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Palazzo Roma. Very professional and polite from start to finish. The entire hotel is a lovely and beautiful architectural piece of art. The staff was very polite and and friendly making sure our stay was unforgettable. Our room was a premium suite with incredibly high ceilings and beautifully ornamented. The bathroom was all in marble and was very spacious. The breakfast was lovely with plenty of pastries in addition to the breakfast menu. We tried a different breakfast everyday and all of them were really tasty. My wife was following a gluten free diet which they accommodated with no problem. They also have an evening restaurant menu which we tried one night and we were very pleased. The sommelier was very knowledgable and spent plenty of time with us running through different wines for our different meal choices. The hotel is incredibly well located at a short distance from the Fontana di Trevi, Piazza di Spanga, Piazza Navona, plenty of restaurants in the back streets of the hotel and close to the prestige shopping area. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay at Palazzo Roma. We will definitely stay at this hotel when we come back to Rome.

The location is excellent, right in the heart of Trastevere, but somehow quiet and peaceful. You are seconds away from Santa Maria square and multiple cafes, bars and restaurants. The staff are amazing, so incredibly friendly and helpful, Frederico checked us in, and showed us places to go a map provided, we asked for restaurant recommendations, and the transfers to and from the airport were seamlessly organised. Breakfast was fairly simple but made with lovely ingredients - beautiful scrambled eggs, cheese and ham as well as fruit, yoghurt and cereals and the most delicious pastries and cakes. The coffee was superb and Romeo added little extra touches like individual decoration of our names on the top. We visited in early February and while we had sunshine, the mornings and evenings were cool in the shade. We managed one drink on the roof terrace and a coffee in the lovely courtyard. I imagine this is really nice later in the Spring. The rooms are not especially modern but the bed was super comfortable with very nice bed linen. Tolietries were provided and the hairdryer did its job. Everything was very clean. If you want 5 star luxury trappings, this is not the place for you but it is a lovely, personal little hotel and we would love to stay here again.

What this hotel might lack in updates it more than makes up for in cleanliness, incredibly friendly staff and amenities. We stayed for just one night at the end of our trip as we returned to Rome for a flight out; I really wanted to check out the Trastavere neighborhood. I was so impressed with the genuine friendliness from everyone we met here, and especially the handsome young guy who worked the front desk that night whose name we never caught. They offer a beautiful apertivo buffet in evenings (just buy a drink) and we only got to enjoy a cappuccino but the included breakfast was fantastic. I believe all or most rooms are ground level facing a comfy central courtyard full of orange trees and a funny cat, it feels very safe behind locked gates. The Trastavere neighborhood is SUPER FUN and delicious and we are so glad we stayed here. But just FYI it’s more about a cool vibe with lots of hustle and church bells all night; if you are looking for super luxurious peace and quiet I would probably look to a different area of Rome. There were lots of Americans staying here.

I can’t think why this gorgeous little hotel is ranked as a 3 star hotel. It is not. It is 5 star. In the courtyard you can breakfast under the orange trees, or if you prefer, adjourn to the cozy breakfast room where you will be greeted by friendly staff ready to take your coffee order. Breakfast is a sumptuous buffet of cereals, yoghurts, artisan cakes and breads, cooked food as well as charcuterie and fresh fruit. All the staff are friendly, helpful and efficient. The rooms are decorated individually and within the grounds there are lounges, sun beds and little nooks where you can sit and have a quiet drink are a hard day on the tourist trail. Also, metres from the front gate there are a myriad of little eateries and bars as well as small shops. It is a delight to get lost in the labyrinth of Trastevere and stumble upon hidden gems. If you are coming to Rome and want a place that will leave trails in your memory, pick this charming little hotel. Armando, Adriano, Norman and all the rest of the lovely staff, grazie mille for a wonderful stay.

Hotel Santa Maria was a bedrock of our visit to Italy. From the get-go, they were entirely responsive and communicated extremely well, helping us book rooms for the beginning and end of our multi-city stay, as well as transport to and from the airport. Then, they helped accommodate our busy schedule, such as by getting us into our room quickly, making our Rome visit very stress-free. The hotel is in an excellent neighborhood, and convenient to most all the sights. Also, and maybe most important, was the delicious food & drink prepared by their staff. Hotel Santa Maria's aperitivo is incredible, and not to be missed. They prepare generous cocktails and snacks, which our family enjoyed so much while sitting in the various terraces in the hotel compound. The continental breakfast, especially the cappuccino and espresso, was memorable as well. One of my fondest memories was peacefully sitting in the courtyard enjoying one last espresso while waiting for our taxi to take us to the airport. A perfect ending to a special vacation! I look forward to someday returning to Rome and staying at Hotel Santa Maria again. Grazie per i ricordi!

Stepping into this hotel is like stepping into a lush secret garden. It's simply fabulous. On arrival and throughout our stay Adriano, Emanuele and Armando in reception couldn't be more helpful. They are thoroughly engaging, warm and friendly but still very professional. They are full of useful information on restaurants, making reservations and booking taxis on our behalf. Great ambassadors for this hotel. Happy hour is also a lovely treat in terms of the fantastic appetisers prepared by Kevin who is not only a first class barman and cocktail maker but also the care and effort in putting together such a variety of such tasty food is wonderful. The hotel rooms are very clean and comfortable and sit around the courtyard. The bed is pretty comfortable and a good shower too. Breakfast has plenty of choice and you certainly won't be left feeling hungry. Really excellent place to stay and I imagine the garden area is pretty unique in Rome particularly in this price range. The staff are some of the best I've ever encountered around the world and a great asset to this hotel.

1- Location : In the heart of Rome, close to all tourists attractions and restaurants with walking distance except for Vatican City which is around 40 minutes away (though you won’t feel it as everything around you is beautiful) 2- Staff hospitality and very professional: they were very welcoming. Special thanks to Ms. Alessandra at the reception. She was extremely helpful, supportive, and friendly. She explained everything to us in details. 3- House keeping: they clean the room very nicely. Every time we leave the room and come back, we find the room is organised which I never found this service in other hotels before even in the most luxurious hotels 4- Hotel has room service, which is really good thing as we stated in other 6 hotels during our trip around Italy, none of the hotels had room service 5- breakfast options are nice 6- Minibar is refilled on daily basis and it’s COMPLIMENTARY which rarely you find this facility at hotels 7- People used to complain about noise during the night, but we did not hear anything during our stay I highly recommend to stay at this hotel

Our stay at Umilta 36 was a pleasure from start to finish during our Roman holiday. All staff go above and beyond to attend to your needs. The front desk staff were always warm, engaging and professional. Their list of “best gelato stops in Rome” helped my husband indulge in his favorite flavours. Their restaurant recommendations were always spot on. I especially loved Alice for pizza al taglio - casual and delicious! They arranged for my husband to have a in room massage the day after he ran the Rome Marathon. The breakfast team make your mornings extra special. I have fond memories of conversations with Laura, who always greeted me with a smile :) Housekeeping did a wonderful job. Our room was spotless! Great water pressure in the shower, double sinks, plenty of fluffy bath towels and an excellent blow dryer. Great location. Put this hotel on your radar. 🇮🇹

The hotel was absolutely gorgeous. Our room was magnificent. Check-in was seamless and Alessandra walked us up to our room and showed up all the amenities. She also suggested a number of good restaurants nearby and to be sure we partake of the rooftop bar. The views up there are good during daylight and picturesque at night. She arranged to have champagne and a desert that said "happy 25th anniversary" on the actual evening of our 25th. The next day we had beautiful flowers and more champagne delivered. We had breakfast each morning and it was so delicious. Servers were so happy and helpful. A beautiful hotel and centrally located to everything we visited, just a brief 5 minute walk to Trevi Fountain. If you are looking for a memorable and enjoyable stay, I highly recommend Umilta 36.

We have chosen Umiltà 36 for our vacation in Rome and our stay was amazing. This hotel is located in the very heart of Rome - just a few minutes from the Trevi fountain - but hidden on a quiet street, which makes it a true gem. Our room was not only beautifully decorated, but also thoughtfully and smartly designed, the bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable and there was no noise from outside in the room. The hotel restaurant “Aquamarina” has a great seafood menu with local dishes and wine. What makes Umiltà 36 really special, however, is the people. Every staff member we’ve interacted with was friendly and genuinely helpful. And what is most important, during our stay our little daughter was treated like a princess - which meant the world to us.

The breakfasts were good and they finished at 1200, sleeping in not a problem. There are not facilities such as pool or gym, but for us as a couple, it was excellent. All the staff were super friendly and very good at their job. Great room, spotlessly clean everywhere. They always thought about the extra touches which were great.

From the time that we walked through the doors at Room Mate Filippo Rome, we were treated like Royalty. The staff from the Desk Managers to the personnel who took care of our room were very professional, courteous and helpful giving us suggestions where to dine as Romans for the week. The room we were assigned was spacious and very clean along with the bathroom that had amenities on the counter. Our room was furnished with water everyday. The breakfast staff was very cordial and some of the breakfast was something we were not accustomed to........ but in Rome, do as the Romans, so we adapted. If you are from a country that uses the Imperial System, make sure you download a calculator that can change numbers into the Metric System, or you can short cut changing Fahrenheit over to Celsius by doubling the Celsius number and adding 32. The hotel is a two minute walk to the Metro (subway) Barberini Stop, five minute walk to The Spanish Steps, 7-10 walk respectively (opposite direction) to The Trevi Fountain, Pantheon and several different Plazas. We were fortunate and blessed to be there during the services of Pope Francis even though we booked the trip in August 2024 as our anniversary trip, taking it eight months later due to scheduling at work. In closing, anyone who books at Room Mate Filippo will be very satisfied! NOTE: The street names are about 10' up on buildings. We missed our turn by four blocks. The hotel street lines up with the fountain in the Barberini Plaza.

This hotel is very cozy and nice, and you feel it once you arrive, feels like home! Everything is so neat and stylish. The room looks brand new, so every time you come back after promenade you feel super comfortable. The staff is super friendly - from guys who welcome and check you in to amazing women who serve the breakfast. When we arrived there was a guy named Umberto - such a nice Italian man who welcomed us so warmly and recommended a lot of amazing tasty restaurants. On my Birthday they surprised me and presented me a cake while we were having breakfast. It was super nice! By the way, as to the breakfast - it was quite good and tasty. If you’ve been to Europe before, you know that a typical European breakfast is not smth really special, but I guess that this hotel has a pretty nice choice. Location is just amazing! It’s only 10 mins walk to Trevi fountain, Spanish steps; the Colosseum is a bit further, but trust me you can walk there, especially with coffee&meal stops, so you’ll not get tired. We didn’t use any public transport at all. And one more important thing- the hotel is kind of hidden in the narrow street, so it’s not noisy, that’s a great bonus I guess. So, I’m so happy that I chose this hotel. Many many thanks to the guys who work there, you’re making this place special.

Excellent hotel!!! The room was superb containing all necessary items and more; from shoe shine kit through bathrobes and slippers to a safe. Beds and washroom were spotless and comfy and the whole unit was spacious. The public areas were neat, clean, and tastefully furnished, and breakfast was the yummiest and most generous. Perfect location, in a quiet alley - 3 minutes walk from Piazza Barberini (with its Metro stop) in one direction, and 10 minutes leisurely stroll from the Spanish Steps and Trinità dei Monti church on the other side. Despite the nearby Metro, all highlights - even the further ones - are within walking distance, including lots of dining places. But above all - the RM Filippo staff stands out! The most pleasant and professional women and men who truly care for and about their guests: Dining room personnel, maintenance, housekeeping, and of course the front desk staff who was extremely helpful and with whom we could conduct jolly chit-chats whenever we met in the lobby. After all, what comes from the heart - goes into the heart! GRAZIE MILLE! :-)

We loved everything about this hotel. Everything in the rooms is thought out to the smallest detail for the convenience of guests. Amazing staff with great-great service!! Honestly, I didn't expect that our stay would be this good!! I don't like long reviews, so I'll just highlight the following - Our room and the bathroom very clean!! The room was made everyday! - Room was very quite (we were on 5th floor in Grand Fillipo) - Very Good wifi - Pleasant complimentaries after check-in - Breakfast was good, despite that it was mainly the same. - Great service!! Many thanks to the staff in reception and in the breakfast room, Special "hello" to Nairi:) Our stay in Hotel Room Mate Fillipo was beyond expectations! I'll definitely recommend it to my friends and of course I'll definitely chose one of Room Mate hotel's when travelling to other countries. Regarding Fillipo - I already know where to stay during my next trip to Rome!!!

This hotel is in a great location and really nice. The area is super safe, St. Peter's Square is just a 10-minute walk, and there are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Our room was extremely clean and modern, and the interior design was even nicer than it looked in the pictures. I haven't seen such thorough daily cleaning and bed making in a long time. We loved having coffee, tea, and hot chocolate available at all times, and the fresh croissants every morning were a great touch. It was also really convenient that there was a hairdryer, shower gel, and fresh towels every day. Another nice thing was that we could leave our luggage at the hotel on our last day, so we were free to explore more before our flight. Arminio and his team were super helpful with everything. We can confidently say that the hotel is top-notch in terms of cleanliness, amenities, and interior design, and the value for money was fantastic. Excelent host/owner, had late check in, without any problem. Everything explained perfectly. Perfectly clean, i would say almost everything in room was brand new. Water, coffee, tea, and every morning and throughout day you have croissants that were so good, had problem finding in Rome good one as the one provided by hotel. Also, we got very good price for our stay, as Rome hotels are rather expensive. Close to Lepanto Metro station, and very nice and safe neighbourhoods. Will recommend and come again.

A nice place near Vatican City and close to metro. And a super friendly host! The apartment was big enough for 2 people. The hot water and coffee with milk were available 24h and in the morning nice croissants were served as breakfast. The bad was pretty comfortable. No problems with water in the bathroom. Everything was clean. The building has an elevator, but it is small. In spring there were no blossoming trees, critical for people with allergies, unlike the center of Rome.

Perfectly located. In a quieter area but still a beautiful area with lots going on and plenty of places to eat, drink and shop. A few minutes to the metro. A few minutes to the Vatican, but still not too far to walk anywhere. The room was comfortable and very clean. Maybe a little small. The common area was good to have and the provision of coffee, wster and croissants was wonderful. The staff were friendly and always available to help and advise.

Clean, modern and spacious room and bathroom. Very comfortable and pleasant experience overall. The hotel is located in a beautiful neighbourhood (Prati) from where you can start a nice walk to the city centre. A big plus was the friendly staff that was always available and the fresh croissant and coffee that they offered to the guests every morning. I definitely recommend it for a nice staying in Rome and for getting to know another great neighbourhood apart from the city center.

We loved everything about this amazing boutique hotel!!! The location is hard to beat - lots of iconic places like Trevi fountain and Spanish steps were just minutes away. Our superior room was specious, beautifully decorated and equipped with all possible technologies (sensor lights, phone charging points etc). The shower room and toilet were generous size and had everything you need. Having been recently renovated, the hotel features modern yet sophisticated style with attention to detail. We loved the delicious top notch quality breakfasts! But what makes this hotel really exceptional is the staff every member of which was very friendly, accommodating and attentive! We felt like at home:)) Melika at the reception offered us a warm welcome and all the needed support upon our arrival. Marco at the rooftop bar served us delicious cocktails along with lovely Italian snacks. We enjoyed his warm personality and hospitality!! My friend and I had a very comfortable three-day stay in Rome. The hotel offers an airport pickup service, and even though it took us over an hour and a half to get through customs, the driver patiently waited for us, and we arrived at the hotel without any issues. The staff at the front desk and the breakfast team were especially nice. Throughout our stay, we felt warmly welcomed. We chose a twin room since we needed two beds. Although the room was not large, it was fully equipped, and the bathroom was spacious with two showers. The breakfast was delicious, and the coffee was good. Unfortunately, we didn’t get a chance to try the rooftop bar. The hotel’s location is excellent—just a few minutes’ walk to the Spanish Steps, and nearby bus stops made it very convenient to get to major attractions in Rome. Taking an Uber to Roma Termini cost less than 15 euros.

The property is very clean and nice. Upon arrival we were greeted by Amelia the Manager. Her and her staff were exceptional and accommodating towards our stay. The roof top bar and breakfast were top notch. After we were brought to our rooms which were very clean, updated bathroom and room. The beds were comfortable and had no issue relaxing. Just footsteps away from Spanish steps and the Trevor Fountain this hotel is located in a perfect spot. We highly recommend this hotel and will be coming back in the future. We want to thank Amelia for all of her assistance and showing us the best hospitality, especially her taxi driver Max, who showed us around Rome on a tour. Thank you for the memories.

Location: 3min away from Spanish Steps - 7min Trevi Fountain- 9min from Piazza Barberini (one of the hop on/hop off bus stops) - close to shopping center - restaurants/cafes Customer service was beyond expectations! All the staffs at the reception: Stella - Belen - Nunzia - were just amazing (special thanks to all 3) All staffs at the restaurant were excellent- Maitro Maorizo who served us on dinner was so professional and provided excellent service, Isabelle at breakfast was so friendly and attentive and last but not least Francis who was a busy bee (excellent service at the restaurant and helped us with the luggage when checking in and out) The room: Very spacious- elegant- modern- they have paid attention to every single detail - comfortable beds - spacious bathroom

My wife and I spent 3 nights in Rome on a summer holiday from our home in Charlotte NC USA. The Singer was an excellent experience all around. Very well kept facility, superb staff and excellent location. Walkable to many famous Roman sights and with lots of shopping and dining options. After a full day of city tours, we started our evenings at the rooftop bar which had an excellent selection of cocktails, wine and beer. Wait staff was very courteous and friendly. My only complaint is that the room was a little cramped for the price. Also there is no pool or gym on the property but we knew this before booking so no worries. I highly recommend the Singer for anyone looking for a super convenient stay with easy access to the main sights of Rome. Ciao!

My wife and I have stayed at some of the most well known 5 star hotels around the world and we thought we had experienced exceptional service before, but we had it wrong. Now, we normally do not write a review unless we are warning of a bad experience, certainly not the case here. This was such an amazing stay we had to leave a review before we have even checked out. Nothing we have experienced in our travel’s has come close to the outstanding care the team here provided us. This was our first stop on nearly a month in Europe, as are most US flights we arrived early but this trip was very early. On arrival they had our room already set for us even with a full or nearly full hotel. We felt like the staff had knew us for years. Not once did we give our name when asking for assistance but they knew who we were, knew or room number and often addressed us by name as we passed through the lobby. You want for nothing. That is worth saying again, they take amazing care of you. Room was amazing and located on the corner of Via Del Corso and the side street of the front door. From 4th floor we never heard anything from outside. We knew how close everything was but was amazed just how central the hotel is. Basically a few minutes walk to any of the major attractions you would want to see. You cannot under any circumstance go wrong staying here! We will never look for another option for our next visit to Roma.

This is a really wonderful hotel. The location couldn't be more perfect, lying halfway between the Pantheon and the Trevi fountain. Access to the hotel by taxi is difficult due to the narrowness of the street but the staff were out and helping with luggage right away. It is situated in the former Singer sewing machine headquarters and many sewing machines are to be seen on display. The warm welcome didn't stop here, from the top to bottom all members of staff were unbelievably helpful and friendly. I normally don't like boutique quirky hotels but this was an exception. A modern lift takes you ups from the reception and our room was good by Rome standards, with a very comfortable bed and pillows. There is a really great bathroom with the best shower I have been in for many years. Simple controls, a raindance shower head, and a wide cubicle with the very sensible shower gel and shampoo being in two different coloured bottles. When you come out of the shower the mirror is clear and the shower cool and not fogged up like a Calcutta monsoon. The maid service was spot on and any requests were promptly dealt with. There were no negative issues. Breakfast each day on the roof terrace was excellent with a wide choice of dishes and everything was served excellently. Downsides? None at all apart from the slightly awkward access from the street which they negate well. The best place to stay in Rome.

The Singer Palace Hotel is exceptional. Not only is the Hotel beautiful, but the Hotel's staff truly makes the experience noteworthy with their unexcelled level of hospitality and service. From the doorman, to the front desk, to the Hotel's amazing general manager, to the detail of the housekeeping and the entire welcoming staff at the 5th floor terrace restaurant and the 6th floor terrace bar, they will all work to ensure that your guest experience is exceptional beyond measure. I found my room to be very quiet, luxurious, peaceful and a bed that invites you in for a restful night's sleep. We dined every morning at the hotel's 5th floor terrace restaurant as well as several dinners at night. The food was tasty, well prepared and presented with excellent and hospitable service. A not to miss experience is the hotel's 6th floor rooftop lounge called Jim's Bar. After a day of seeing the sites of Rome, go to Jim's Lounge on the 6th floor for a late afternoon aperitivo and cicchetti. You will also be rewarded with the beautiful sunset views over Rome. If you want to welcoming, peaceful, and most relaxing stay in the heart of Rome's historic area, book your stay at the Singer Palace hotel. It truly is an oasis away from the hustle and bustle. The staff truly shine !

We had a truly wonderful stay at Singer Palace Hotel! The staff were incredible, a real highlight! So warm, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. Truly exceptional! Breakfast was lovely, and enjoying a cappuccino on the beautiful terrace in the morning was the perfect way to start each day. The hotel’s restaurant, Le Terrazze, was a real highlight — their tonnarelli cacio e pepe was easily our favorite dish of the entire trip! In the evenings, we loved relaxing with a drink at Jim’s Rooftop Bar, which has such a great vibe and a stunning view over Rome. The location is also ideal — just a short walk from major landmarks like the Pantheon and Trevi Fountain (only about 5 minutes away). We kept joking that everything in Rome seemed to be “15 minutes away” from the hotel! On the morning of our early Vatican tour, the staff kindly opened the restaurant early so we could enjoy breakfast before heading out — such thoughtful service. They also helped us book tours and organize everything we needed throughout our stay. And special greetings from our son Leonard to the whole team and a big hug to Niloufar, he loved it and will never forget this remarkable stay! We can’t wait to come back — Singer Palace is a true gem in the heart of Rome!

I need a whole page, perhaps, to describe the experience we had staying in this Albergo. The page would only be filled with superlatives about this place. But more to the point, the two young women who welcomed us upon arrival set a tone which lasted our entire time in Roma. The location is excellent! We arrived by metro from the central train station. Two stops in the metro and we were in Barberini Plaza. Three minute walk down hill brought us to an unassuming little side street where our hotel sat, just 25 meters from the busy main road. As soon as we stood outside double checking our address, the door flung open and we were greeted like returning family, even though we'd never been there before. An hour and a half of chat, becoming friends for life, it feels, we went into our room which was way beyond anything i expected. So clean!!! So modern and so well equipped!!! I would not hesitate for one second recommending this place to any of my friends!! And, as an aside, the young women gave us their direct whatsapp contacts so we could have help any time during our visit to Roma. In fact, they encouraged us, upon leaving, to be in touch whenever we need help with anything even after we leave. I'll look forward to returning here again. And i hope the owners of this establishment know how lucky they are to have such embassadors for their hotel, making travelers like us feel incredibly blessed!!

This hotel was absolutely fantastic! Ignore any negative comments because there is NONE! The room was clean and tidy and had everything you needed and more! Lovely touches like chocolates when the rooms made each day, fresh towels, bottle to fill with water using the self serve bar which had a tap serving filtered water at room temp, cold and sparkling. Biscuits, a coffee machine with nespresso pods and fridge with milk and fruit juice. The location was perfect right between the trevi and Spanish steps, we walked everywhere apart from the train from airport to termini and then we walked to the hotel but you could get the metro to Barberini from the train station and it was only two stops away. 15-20 mins walk from piazza navona which was our favourite area of Rome! 30 mins from the colosseum and 40 mins walk from Vatican! If you’re looking at this hotel book it! You won’t regret it!

Absolutely lovely experience at this hotel! The location is perfect (only a few minutes away from Fontana Di Trevi and the Spanish Steps). The staff are very friendly and kind - they were always reachable throughout our entire stay to help us with anything we needed. The hotel has a generous self-service bar with water, coffee, milk, juice and some snacks free of charge which was a great addition. I found it incredibly thoughtful that the staff had also left SPF and after sun lotion in the bathroom, in addition to the normal toiletries. At the end of our stay (as our flight was rather late in the evening), after checking out we were also offered a courtesy room to relax for a few hours - which was great as with the July heat in Rome we definitely needed the rest. The customer service can’t be any better in my opinion.

As a honeymoon couple, I can confidently say that we had an absolutely fantastic two nights here. The location in Barberini is perfect, with everything within walking distance, and you can step right into the vibrant life of Rome as soon as you leave the hotel. The warm and welcoming atmosphere began the moment we stepped into the hotel, and the staff were incredibly attentive, informative, and helpful. They even provided us with valuable insights about the city we were about to explore <3. The snacks and coffee corner in the lobby were lovely. Moreover, despite its fantastic location, the hotel offers a peaceful oasis, allowing you to relax. The room was spotless, and the amenities were top-notch, but most importantly, the genuinely kind and heartwarming people there ensure that you'll have an unforgettable experience. With love.

We stayed there for four nights, the location is perfect! Five minutes walk away from Fontana di Trevi and the Spanish steps. With a bus stop right around the corner to go around the city in addition to the metro entrance next to the Spanish steps. The staff were incredible! The staff were just delightful! They helped us with recommendations for restaurants. securing tickets for the Vatican and pantheon. It was my friends birthday during our stay and they made it extra special with a ice cream and another treat. The room was spotless clean with complimentary spaghetti pack and daily chocolate on the pillow. the biscuits and coffee bar was a treat to look forward to, this place is a true gem in the heart of rome. 7 stars service! Highly recommended!!

We had a great stay at the Damaso on a 4-night break. Family of 3 stayed in a Triple Room. The room itself was on the small side, but to be expected in a building of this nature. It was spotlessly clean and had all the amenities we required for a comfortable stay. The staff were a standout. From breakfast to reception to the bar. All lovely, friendly people and helped make our stay all the more enjoyable. Location is ideal. A 3 minute walk to Piazza Navona, 10 minute walk to the Pantheon, 20 minute walk to the Trevi Fountain and a 30 minute walk to the Vatican. All through winding streets and alleys, lined with lots of shops, restaurants, cafes, etc. Rome really is the perfect city for walking. Hotel Damaso is not your typical chain-type hotel (nothing wrong with those), and this makes for a more personal experience. We loved it and would highly recommend it. Grazie Mille to all!

The accommodations were excellent—comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully appointed. The location was absolutely perfect, right in the heart of the city. I especially appreciated being just a 30-minute walk in either direction from so many of Rome’s historic landmarks. It made exploring the city both easy and enjoyable. The nearby restaurants and shopping options were fantastic, and truly added to the overall experience. From the moment I arrived, everything ran smoothly. We stayed just before Christmas. Hotel is on really great location, in centre of everything, so all the major touristic sites can be reached with in 15 minutes walks, from Vatican, to Colloseum, but also, there are several bus lines that go close to hotel. Breakfast was great with wide selection; various hams and cheese, eggs, freshly cutted fruits, pastries, rolls, buns, pies, bread, cereal, honey, jams, juices and coffee and lot more.. Hotel staff was very friendly and professional. Rooms were big with nice views on square in front of the hotel and were very, very clean. The hotel is all together quite modern but with italian old style charm. Would recommend and stay again.

Honestly this is 4 start hotel. Small, but super stylish hotel. It was very clean, cleaning ladies were taking care of the room every day. Slippers and bathrobes were also included which was not expected from 3 star hotel. Also amazing bar next to the lobby. Location is amazing - Osteria de Fortunate next to the hotel (honest, do not recommend you to eat there, a bit overrated place) and wow pizza at Corner pizza (highly recommended). Convenient location - you can easily walk to any historical place you want as well as to Trastevere, but we also were using bus some time (bus station is 40 m from hotel).

Our stay at the Hotel Damaso was fantastic! My wife and I stayed for 5 nights and loved everything about it! The front desk staff was superb! The breakfast was excellent! The roof top terrace was a wonderful way to relax after a day of sightseeing! The bed was very comfortable and even though the hotel is located on a busy street, the traffic noise was not a major issue for us. We stayed at the Terrace Pantheon Relais for five nights (23–28 July), and it was everything we hoped for and more. We chose the hotel based on its glowing reviews and beautiful appearance — and we were not disappointed. The location is exceptional — ideal for anyone wanting to explore Rome on foot. We walked everywhere (I am 67 and managed the walks!): The Vatican – 35 minutes The Colosseum – 30 minutes The Pantheon – 5 minutes Trevi Fountain – 10 minutes Spanish Steps – 15 minutes Galleria Borghese – 35 minutes Termini Station – 35 minutes Julius Caesar’s assassination site? Just 1 minute away! Despite being in a lively part of the city, the hotel feels tucked away and wonderfully quiet. A real highlight is the exquisite "secret" rooftop terrace — perfect for early evening drinks prepared by Ali, the hotel’s warm and talented mixologist. It's also a great spot to unwind during the day and escape the hustle and bustle below. The staff were all exceptionally polite, friendly, and helpful. We asked for restaurant recommendations and every one of them was spot-on. Our classic rooms were stylish, comfortable, and well-appointed. The breakfast buffet was also excellent, with a wide variety of choices to suit every taste. In short: if you're visiting Rome and want to treat yourself, book this hotel. It’s a peaceful retreat in the heart of a stunning city — and you won’t be disappointed.

The exceptional service started with the incredibly friendly and helpful employees at the reception, who went out of their way to ensure a smooth and enjoyable stay. The breakfast buffet was an absolute delight, thanks to the attentive and welcoming staff who made sure every guest felt taken care of. Their dedication is absolutely outstanding. I must also commend the cleaning personnel for their outstanding work. The rooms were impeccably clean and well-maintained throughout my stay. It's evident that the cleaning team takes great pride in their work, and their attention to detail did not go unnoticed. One of the standout features of the Terrace Pantheon Relais Hotel is its central location. Being situated in the heart of Rome allowed for easy access to iconic landmarks and attractions, making my sightseeing adventures incredibly convenient. In sum, my stay at the Terrace Pantheon Relais Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. The exceptional employees at the reception, the attentive breakfast buffet staff, and the diligent cleaning personnel all contributed to a memorable experience. The people at this hotel, Marco, Giorgio (George—because this is more exotic ;)), the luggage handler are all wonderful helpful caring people. Upon arrival we were running VERY late and we dropped the bags and stepped into the Taxi that the front desk organized for us and actually made it to our tour! We stayed the first night in a triple room, which was clean and comfortable, by Italian standards was a pretty good size for 3 adults. We moved to a suite for the remainder of our of our stay, which was large and was a very good fit for our family. All the rooms have very high ceilings so even the smaller room felt OK. The beds are extremely comfortable. We had some special needs with concern to the Sabbath, and the hotel was familiar with the concept and were very helpful. We did not experience any antisemitism at this hotel. Small note if you are staying here for the Sabbath, many of the lights are on sensor and can be a problem, depending upon where your room is located. I forgot a few items at the hotel and Giorgio aka George organized everything to be shipped to the States and it was seamless and simple!! Bravo to the Terrace Pantheon Relais!! Great value, large rooms, and EXCEPTIONAL staff!! Ciao Ciao for now! Arrivederci!!

Very nice hotel in a location that is convenient walking distance to most of the major sites in the old center of Rome. The room we had was in a separate building about 1/2 block from the main hotel. The room was large and well-appointed with luxury amenities. I guess because of the nature of renovated old buildings there were 2 small steps down from the entry area and bathroom to the level with the bed. Maybe it was just our room, but it was a little tricky navigating during the night. Luckily, we had some LED candles for illumination. Staff was excellent. We liked that they had a no charge cancellation policy up to 72 hours, (I think) before arrival and they didn't charge our card in advance for 1 night like many places would. We paid for the breakfast which had scrambled eggs and bacon as well as Italian style pastries and cold meats/cheeses/cereal. The room rate for late October seemed pretty high to me and a little more than others that I looked at, but we were happy nonetheless. The hotel also has a very nice rooftop patio with a bar. We would book again here.

The staff is amazing! They were all so welcoming and personable. Gly at the front desk is absolutely lovely. After a seamless check in, she walked us to our room and informed us on all things in our room, and hotel facilities! She was very helpful throughout our stay with taxi’s, etc. The views from the rooftop deck are spectacular. The bartender Kiko made the best cocktails and he was also so very welcoming. He really made us feel at home. The breakfast was delicious, with fresh fruits and pastries and the best pancakes eggs and crispy bacon. A beautiful start to the day. All the staff at breakfast was super attentive and made the best cappuccino and latte’s to order! Even the overnight staff was super attentive! I wish I give this hotel 10 stars. I was so taken by the incredible hospitality by the staff I almost forgot to mention that this boutique property is stunning! The rooms are breathtaking with beautiful architectural details and incredible high ceilings. The location is perfect. Wine stores, supermarkets, restaurants, attractions etc. This hotel gets a 10 out of 10! Oh! And there is an elevator! 10 out of 10!

Hotel Artemide is a four-star hotel nestled in the historic center of Rome, near the Trevi Fountain and the Colosseum. Located in a five-story, 19th century building at Via Nazionale 22, it is popular for its central location and ranked No. 8 among the 1,131 hotels in Rome, according to TripAdvisor. It offers a swimming pool, patio, spa, an elegant rooftop restaurant, bar/lounge, fitness center with a gymnasium, sauna, hot tub and Turkish bath, business center, dry cleaning, laundry service, concierge, 24-hour front desk, multi-lingual staff, free high speed internet and wi-fi and room service. We booked a basic double room with a Queen-sized bed, desk, private bathroom with shower, mini-bar, flat screen TV, telephone, coffee/tea maker and air conditioning. Did I mention a breakfast buffet? As in Paris, breakfast in Rome isn't much more than a cup of cappuccino and a cornetto or Italian croissant. Other options are white and red pizza and mortadella; suppli, a staple of Roman cuisine, deep fried rice balls coated with tomato ragu, bread crumbs and mozzarella; and La Bomba, a fried and filled dolce or dessert stuffed with cream, chocolate or jam. Enough to get a couple of Chicago retirees off and running on a day of sight-seeing.

From the front desk staff, breakfast staff and cleaners are amazing. The friendliness and professionalism of the hotel staff was remarkable and they made our 5 night stay really wonderful. The hotel went above and beyond with our hotel experience as they know that we are celebrating some special event, they have ensured that we felt really welcome. Hotel service exceptional and I can say they have exceeded the service of a of a 5 star hotel. Kudos to all the staff! Breakfast was 5/5 - Allesandro and all the breakfast staff were very welcoming. The food selection was massive and they were delicious. Hotel room 5/5 - the amenities in the room was very good, the room even comes with a bidet! Good night sleep 4.5/5 - the bed was comfortable but could do a softer pillow in my preference. You can set the temperature of the room according to your preference heat or cool. We went on winter but not the outside temp for me is not to cold so I have our room in cool. Note: a lot of hotels in Europe disables cool/ac during winter even its not cold. So Im really happy with the hotel allowing me to set my own temperature. Cleanliness 5/5 - room service is done daily and every-time we come back our room is already remade. They even put under our bed that they have checked and cleaned it which i think was hilarious. Good job! Will definitely be my preferred hotel when im in Rome.

My partner and I had a lovely stay at Hotel Artemide earlier this month! We agreed that the level of service was the best of any hotel to which we have ever traveled. Our suite was clean and well-maintained throughout the trip and front desk staff were consistently helpful. Even the slightest issue/question we raised (e.g. replacing coffee pods with preferred type, providing service at a specified time, shower leak affecting our fresh towels, initial staff confusion about wine included with a candlelit dinner package etc) was met with immediate assistance with a positive attitude--the few tiny issues raised were all resolved immediately by front desk, housekeeping, and food service staff. The breakfast provided was the best of any complimentary breakfast I have ever received at a hotel (though I wish eggs were cooked to order), with delicious espresso, abundant fresh fruits and vegetables, smoked salmon and other meats, croissants, pancakes, and other baked goods, as well as bacon, sausage, and other favorites. We had a restful couples massage in Artemis with kind and capable staff; the prices for the spa facility are very reasonable. The desk provided us with helpful recommendations in getting around Rome on foot and by subway, and coordinated our transportation to the airport for our return. We look forward to returning again and cannot say enough positive things about Artemide! Thank you to your staff!

Hotel Artemide has many positives. It is in the best location to get around the main sights of Rome. We are in our 50's and walked everywhere from this hotel. The colosseum is about 15 minutes walk, while the Spanish steps, Trevi Fountain and Pantheon about 10 -15 minutes away. We even walked to the Vatican about 25 minutes away. Not to mention Rome Termini where we walked about 7 minutes from the hotel. The air conditioning is excellent as it was 37 degrees (Celsius) for the 4 days we stayed. The rooms are clean and a good size for Rome standards and the complimentary mini bar is a nice touch. The hotel location is in a nice and safe area. The staff are excellent and the breakfast is superb. The hotel has the best breakfast in Rome, but the best part of the breakfast is Alessandro who was so attentive, spoke English very well and had our coffee coming before we sat down! The breakfast caters for all cultures and we could also order our own omelettes, eggs, crepes, etc. Luanna was also very attentive at breakfast and would help us in any way. The only down side is the hotel is so good that I cannot get a room when we return to Rome in 3 weeks as it is book out! Thanks Hotel Artemide for a great experience! 🏨😊😊

Rome was the final stop on our four city tour of Italy and we arrived via train from Florence and Hotel Artemide was less than a 15 minute walk from Rome Termini Train Station. We arrived midday and yes our room was ready upon arrival so we checked in and dropped our things at the room before heading out to explore. We had stayed at two of Hotel Artemide’s sister hotels in other parts of Italy so we received an extra 10% off at each of the three hotels, nice benefit there for sure. Each of the sister hotels also have the same vibe and we loved the customer service. Breakfast was included with our rate at Hotel Artemide and the breakfast was as close to an Israeli breakfast as we have ever experienced. Smoked Salmon, salads, breads, pastries, and much much more! Also included was a free glass of prosecco and we enjoyed our prosecco at the rooftop bar with a nice complimentary aperitivo. And there’s more! In room snack and soft drinks are refilled daily gratis and we even had a beer and single serving of prosecco included in the room as well. The electrical sockets in the room are Type L, please make sure if you are traveling internationally you do bring converters. Hotel Artemide was a great choice in Rome and we’d gladly stay again!

The hotel itself was beautiful and had everything you would need for a long weekend break, It was very close to all the nearby attractions, had lots of lovely food places near by. The hotel itself was clean, modern and spacious, our room was beautiful and had everything that we required and the air con was fantastic. Despite being in the city there wasn’t too much noise disturbance as the hotel is located down a quieter street. I am celiac and was very impressed with their GF breakfast options that were brought to me upon request each morning. The fridge in our room was continually restocked with water which was complimentary and of no extra cost to our stay. Beyond how lovely the hotel itself was, we were most impressed with the staff! The gentleman on the reception desk was so welcoming and informative when we first arrived, providing recommendations and guidance on how to get to places. There was also a complimentary glass of Prosecco on arrival which was a lovely touch. The staff made you feel at home and no request was too much trouble, so you felt at ease if needing to ask for anything. At the end of our stay we needed a taxi back to the aiport, again the receptionist went out of their way to book this on our behalf so a taxi was ready and waiting for us when we had to leave. Overall i felt this was an exceptional stay and i would absolutley recomend the hotel to anyone thining of staying in Rome.

From the arrival, which was complemented by a glass a Prosecco each, all the way through to the very end of our stay, the entire team at Hotel Viminale in Roma delivered the most remarkable, thoughtful and personalised service that my wife & I have seen in a very long time in Europe. Being a French & Italian couple, living in India and working in luxury hospitality in Maldives, our stay was truly top notch. Every single team member we met was always smiling, helpful, and an absolute delight to interact with. From Leila & Alessandro at reception (as well as all their colleague which I apologise I don’t remember the names) as well as Danielle at the bar, everyone was fantastic. Room amenities are great, breakfast is superb, the building itself is very well renovated/maintained, there’s a gym, and it’s as central as you could ask for in Roma. We need to return to Roma in early January and still have not booked our hotel stay - we will look no further than Hotel Viminale, and this will also be our 1st choice for all our visits to Roma, thanks to the remarkable service we’ve felt. I left a very valuable necklace in the bathroom before checking out, and when I returned to collect the luggage from reception later on, this was returned to me before I had even realised I had lost it… cherry on top!

This is a beautiful hotel with a fantastic staff in a great part of Rome. The hotel is upscale and walkable to most attractions in the city. The breakfast provided in the morning was really good. When we arrived, Rita took out a map and explained where were located in the city and pointed out routes to almost every place we wanted to visit. It really put the city into perspective for us. There are loads of amazing restaurants within easy walking distance and if you're brave, you're also close to the main train station in Rome (Termini). Being Americans, we found the rooms cramped with little storage space. We had a lot of luggage because we were going on cruises and touring Europe for a full month. It made the room hard to navigate because there were very few options to store clothes or luggage in the room. The bathroom was also very small. I wish we had paid more for a larger room with a larger bathroom, but even the larger rooms don't have dressers or drawers to put things away. All that being said, that was a small inconvenience for such a beautiful stay in the center of Rome. I would absolutely stay there again.

The hotel was superb. It’s newly refurbished which was done to a very high standard. The location is excellent, near the station but not far from many of Rome’s attractions. Whilst the roof terrace wasn’t quite finished, the view was beautiful. The hotel offered free guided walking tours in the evening which is such a lovely idea. You get a glass of Prosecco on arrival and also a voucher for a discounted drink. The best thing about the hotel though was the staff. Genuinely the best service I think I’ve had at a hotel. They are so friendly and can’t do enough for you. You get escorted to your room and they explain about the hotel. I was leaving before breakfast and they prepared a takeaway breakfast (never had that before) and coffee. The taxi that they ordered didn’t give me a receipt so the hotel contacted them for me and emailed it across which was so helpful. Will definitely stay here again if I come back to Rome. Absolutely recommend it. Best hotel I’ve stayed in for a long time and I travel a lot for work.

Hotel Viminale is an exceptional boutique hotel in a superb location. Most main attractions within the city of Rome are accessible within a reasonably short stroll. The hotel opened a year ago and is located in a quiet side street, away from the crazy hustle of the city. We (two adult adults and a teenage daughter) had booked a junior suite which had a queen bedroom and a separate single bed in the entrance area. Whilst the bed rooms were not entirely separate, they provided both parties still enough privacy. A little balcony overlooked the neighbourhood. The hotel is beautifully designed and decorated, and the rooms are spacious enough. There is a gym in the basement with brand new equipment. The staff are exceptional, friendly and helpful from the second we checked in. The breakfast buffet is plentiful, and his choices for every taste. You can have breakfast either in the beautifully appointed breakfast room or in the secluded garden courtyard under an old olive tree. We would definitely come back to Hotel Viminale for our next trip to Rome.

The location was fabulous, within seconds of the Trevi Fountain. As soon as we stepped in the door, dragging our luggage, we were made to feel welcome, and they took our luggage up to our room while we sipped espresso in the bar before heading out for some sightseeing. There is a rooftop deck with views of the fountain that provides a nice and relaxing getaway from the crowds, and you just need to call down to the bar to get them to deliver a spritz to you while you relax in the sun. The hotel even has a museum underneath it that you can view through a window in the floor of the breakfast room. Admission to the museum is free for hotel guests, and you get to see an old Roman aqueduct. Our room was spacious and well laid out, and the daily breakfast buffet included everything you could want, including made to order pancakes, waffles, and omelettes. On our second day, they had a Nutella pie, that was amazing. Everything was within easy walking distance, whether you wanted to see the Spanish Steps, the Pantheon, the Colosseum, or just go shopping. I would highly recommend this hotel, and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

I'm a guy who does a lot of research before choosing a hotel and I've seen a lot of good reviews about this hotel. And I can confirm: book without fear, you won't regret it. When you're in Rome, you need to be well located, because you can do EVERYTHING on foot. And this hotel is simply incredible for that. It's 80 meters away from the Trevi Fountain, which allows you to see this wonder several times, several days. In addition to being very well located, I stayed in the hotel's annex room (it's on the back street) which for me was wonderful. You can't hear ANYTHING, no noise, simply incredible. And to top it off, a good breakfast. It's nothing out of this world, but it has everything you need to leave well fed. I would definitely go back to this hotel again if I go back to Rome. And finally, I had a problem with my luggage getting lost at the airport and the person who helped me was the receptionist at this hotel, thank you very much again. Everyone was very kind and my stay with you was 100%.

Let me just say you can't go wrong choosing Harry's Bar Trevi! You won't be sorry. Fantastic location in central Rome about 100 yards from the gorgeous Trevi fountain. It is a people-friendly, lively area of the city with tons of restaurants, patios and shops. I thought the hotel was renovated but it is new, only about 8 years old. Everything is modern and beautiful. A couple of minor things: bring plug converters/transformers for electrical outlets and ask the front desk how to get the English channels on t.v. In our package, we got free breakfast. It was maybe the best breakfast I have ever had. The buffet had blueberries, strawberries, papaya, bacon, sausages, muffins, orange juice... you name it. Then on top of that, they bring you a menu for French toast, eggs, coffee, etc. The staff and especially the front desk was very friendly and helpful. They were fluent in English. If we go to Rome again, we will absolutely stay here.

A new modern hotel which is excellent. It’s in a perfect location right near The Trevi Fountain but even though it’s a noisy busy area the room was extremely quiet with no street noise at all and great blackout curtains and fabulous air conditioning, this was so important as we were there in a summer heatwave. The staff were amazing - nothing was too much trouble. The front desk helped with our bookings for sights as well as booking cabs for us. The room was kept impeccable. The rooftop terrace has fabulous views and is a great spot to unwind Breakfast was excellent with plenty of selections. The underground ruins attached to the hotel were extremely interesting. I fully recommend this hotel for a perfect holiday. We stayed here for our final stop in a 4 week European holiday and will definitely stay again when we return to Rome.

This hotel was very well appointed, meticulously cleaned and incredibly quiet despite where it is located. The location is absolutely perfect for anyone who wants to be in the heart of Rome, within footsteps of the Trevi fountain and a short walk to Spanish steps. In fact, their rooftop deck has a view of the Spanish steps as well. We have been to Rome many times and decided to spend a night here to see what it was like. I’ll be honest, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect but from the moment we walked in the door it was obvious it was going to be a great experience. We actually took an opportunity to view the Trevi fountain at 5am before the crowds and simply sit there and enjoy the beauty as we waited for sunrise. Kudos to the entire staff for such a wonderful experience

Loved this modern very clean hotel. The 4 bed family room the couch was an actual mattress not a pullout. Comfortable. Super clean bathroom. Conditioner for hair only thing not included. They let us check in early which was much appreciated after travel day. Nice theatre opera square that’s quiet with a few restaurants. Rooftop would have preferred a plunge pool to a hot tub but I knew that in as advance! Stocked mini bar was awesome as was breakfast that ends at 10:30. Wine vending machines a plus :) Would stay here again!

Lovely modern hotel. Very friendly and efficient staff. The breakfast buffet was amazing, the choice was phenomenal. Comfortable clean quiet room with free snacks and drinks. We used the spa pool which was an added bonus. Nice roof top bar and the self service drinks machine near the roof garden and spa pool was great.

Having to wait until I was feeling better from my trip to write this review. After reading prior reviews, looking at what is available around the surrounding area / close proximity to popular sites, we choose to stay at IQ Hotel Roma, a decision we will never regret. We decided to stay in the center of Rome for 4 days with a group of 15 prior to leaving on our cruise. We arrive at hotel IQ early AM, so they stored our luggage’s until our room was ready. The check-in process was smooth and the front desk staff was exceptional. We proceeded to explore the surrounding area for breakfast. The area had several breakfast and dinner spots within walking distance. Highly recommended Nerone for dinner and across the street from Nerone is a famous breakfast spot (about 5 mins walk from IQ Hotel). When we got back to the hotel our luggage’s were delivered to our rooms. The rooms are average in size with a shower / tub depending on the room. If you forgot something, toiletries are readily available and if something is not in your room it can be requested from guest services. I was a bit disappointed with the bathroom, seems I got an accessible room (love the space) so I had a shower as well as a tub. The shower was quite small and can be difficult to maneuver. The tub came with a half shower door, so the bathroom got wet quite easily. The room was equipped with a mini refrigerator stocked with complimentary water and juices and was restocked every 24hrs. The room also comes with a coffee

First, let me acknowledge the staff here, especially Giordano. You can have the most attractive property, but if you don't have a great staff, you don't have anything. Everyone on staff is top notch. This property is a short walk from Roma Termini and if you need a single transportation card, you can purchase them at the reception desk. When we checked into our room, we discovered that the wifi didn't work. They quickly switched our room to rectify that issue. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and function well. The complimentary snacks and drinks in the mini bar in the room were a nice treat. The rooms are non-smoking but there are smoking areas. There are ice machines on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th floors. I loved that they have a wine vending machine on the 5th floor. Breakfast was unbelievably good, especially the filled croissants. There was a good variety of fruits, vegetables, pastries as well as eggs, bacon, sausage, sides. It was really helpful that there were washers and dryers and an iron available for guest use. The cost is €5 for the washer plus another €5 for the dryer. However, I considered that more than fair pricing for the convenience and the fact that laundry detergent and softener are automatically dispensed into the wash. The only things that I didn't like, but which are very minor, are that the sheets and towels smell like vinegar, the faucet in the tub is on the side of the tub which is awkward, and the half shower door is ineffective at preventing the floor

My wife and I stayed here in 2010…. Just us for our wedding anniversary. We have just returned after 5 nights with our two girls aged 8 and 12. The hotel is still just as good, if not better! The staff were lovely. Check in was prompt and our quad room was a decent size. The hotel is clean and tastefully decorated. The complimentary drinks and snacks was a lovely touch and made a big difference to us. Breakfast was very high quality with plenty of choice. The staff at breakfast are on it, collecting used plates etc and making sure everything on the buffet is topped up. The hotel is in a good location. Close enough to the Termini station that you can walk it if you come from there airport on the train but also close to a big junction with a Metro station and bus stops for getting around the city. That said, if you don’t have kids, it isn’t too hot and you have time, all the key tourist attractions are walkable. Lots of decent restaurants nearby as well. The Jacuzzi on the rooftop was really good for relaxing after lots of walking. We found the hotel to be quite given its central location. If you want a nice ice cream and somewhere to sit, we’d suggest going to The Gelatist on Via Delle Quattro Fontaine. There are several others in the area but we thought this was the best!

I cannot say enough about The Fifteen Keys Hotel. It was everything I hoped for and more. Situated in the Monti neighborhood and just a short walk to the Colosseum, the area just oozes charm and comfort (as a single woman, I felt safe no matter the hour). So convenient, with plenty of shops and restaurants right out the door. I stayed here over the Christmas holiday and as soon as I got dropped off, just the vibe and decor (literally) took my breath away. I was excited to be in such an intimate setting (just 15 rooms) but what a surprise that with that came true first-class service from the staff. From day one, every single member made me feel special/valued and really got to know me throughout my stay. Even before I arrived, every email communication, from their warm welcome to answering my questions about what was open on Christmas Eve/Day and nearby Covid testing options, was graciously addressed by the staff. They even reached out to offer car service pickup from the airport. Everyone was so helpful; special shout out to Iulia. Thanks to her, I found the perfect spot to dine on Christmas Eve when I arrived solo that evening, as well as both of my last dinners, courtesy of her fantastic recommendations. This was an experience I will not soon forget. Grazie mille Fifteen Keys; I loved my 6 night stay so much because of all your personal touches, and will definitely be back!

It took me a while to find a luxe hotel in Rome that didn’t come with an over-the-top price tag, and I’m so glad I discovered The Fifteen Keys Hotel. This boutique property is perfectly located, central and convenient, especially for a short stay, and it exceeded all of my expectations. We stayed in the Deluxe Blue Room, and it was our favorite hotel room of the entire trip. The room was beautifully designed, incredibly comfortable, and filled with thoughtful touches from the plush robes to the high-end amenities that made it feel truly special. The communal spaces downstairs were really cozy, but still elegant, including the bathrooms. Breakfast each morning was excellent and the perfect way to start the day. We also loved that the staff would deliver drinks from the bar to enjoy in the lounge or in the room, a small detail that made the experience feel even more personal. The staff were warm, welcoming, and always happy to help with recommendations or arrangements. If I return to Rome, I wouldn’t think twice about staying here again, an absolute gem!

The Fifteen keys hotel was just perfect. Located in the heart of laid back, yet trendy Monti neighborhood, it was close to many good restaurants, with friendly and professional staff, that was super helpful with every recommendation we needed, from restaurants to stores, assisting with reservations and always patient and smiling. The hotel is small, only 15 rooms, very clean, cozy and quiet, with a beautiful little patio to relax in after a busy day packed with tourist attractions. It seems that the designers of this hotel really gave thought to the finest details that make a guest feel comfortable and cared for, and we were especially impressed with breakfast, which was not only tasty but also the most aesthetic I have ever seen in a hotel, from the dishes to the display, which was presented in small quantities frequently refilled, creating a feeling of finer dining in a local cafe, rather than the usual overload large hotels often display, and reducing food waste, which is something that usually bothers me while traveling. We had a great time and we’ll be happy to return.

Isn´t it good to know a place in Rome, where You can perfectly relax, surrounded by an extremely friendly, unintrusive but always helpful staff? A place, where they know to bake pastries for breakfast as fluffy and sweet as only Italians can do. A place with immaculately clean, adequately spacious rooms, furnished with that incomparably refined Italian taste. And then there's the perfect location, close to many sights and excellent restaurants. There's also a small supermarket where you can buy everything you need for Your survival in Rome—but you have to walk 15 meters to get there. Then it's a four-minute walk to the papal Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore. Go there; you'll have good reason to thank God for this gem of a hotel. I have been to Rome at least ten times before and always stayed at small but excellent accomodations. Among them, believe me, The Fifteen Keys Hotel is top of the top. Or, as my fellow Austrian Arnold Schwarzenegger would say: "I´ll be back!"

Fifteen Keys sits nicely and peacefully in a street within the Monti district - perfect location for all the attractions. The hotel itself is the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. Immaculate. the home cooked breakfast buffet was amazing, and the addition of little things like a shot and drink of the day were brilliant touches to start your morning. After a days sightseeing, this hotel is perfect to relax in for an afternoon cup of tea (no charge) between 5-6 in the very relaxed bar area. What I must say though - is the staff were the best thing about the experience. Welcoming, helpful, sorting me taxi's at last minutes notice, offering advice on the surrounding area and simply not being able to do enough for you. Every member of the team were faultless, but a big shout to Antonio, Iulia and Erik who helped me navigate to the Stadio Olympico with ease. And very very reasonable price wise too. Message to the staff is keep doing what you are doing. Grazie!

I picked this hotel due to the great customer service rating on Trip Advisor. We were very impressed with this hotel, I had emailed the hotel prior to our stay to arrange for a driver to pick us up at the airport and it worked out perfectly. The driver was waiting when we landed. I also asked the hotel for a driver to drive us to the cruise port, they looked after organizing this driver also. This is not a free service, but it made my stay with them stress free. I had picked the Double Room in the Annex Building (Boschetto). It is a small room but was perfect since we were out visiting the sites in Rome. The room does have air conditioning and they have a small elevator. They were also helpful with recommendations of visiting the different places in Rome and restaurants. I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay at Hotel Grifo if we visit Rome again.

Hotel is good, but the STAFF is outstanding! They really make the differnce. They go above and beyond to make sure you enjoy the city. Great recommendations for restaurants, cafés, traditional food, tourist traps, you name it. I went very well prepared for this trip and yet they provided a couple of great tips that made it even better. Breakfast was ok, just the right amount of things you may need, and the space is not big, but since we were going out very early that was never an issue. The beds were a bit too firm for our taste, but of course that's a very personal thing. OH! And of course the location of this place is perfect to move around the city, walking distance from all places (if you like to walk) and easy access to public transportation as well.

The hotel was conveniently located near many of the local attractions in Rome. We took a cab to get to our starting destination each day and walked our way back to the hotel at the end of each day. We felt safe in this area. There were plenty of restaurants and stores within walking distance. The staff at the hotel were so friendly and very helpful. The continental breakfast each morning was delicious and a great way to start the day. Our hotel room was in the main building and it was just the right size for two of us. We were fortunate enough to have access to a balcony of which we enjoyed. We loved our stay, the staff were awesome, and we would definitely stay here again if the opportunity exists. We highly recommend this hotel.

The location is amazing, close to everything. As it is off a side street, it was very quiet. There are lots of good places to eat and a lovely range of boutiques. Very near Cavour metro station and the Colosseum. Staff were fantastic, very accommodating, very customer focussed. We requested a few things prior to our stay and they were all done as requested. Alen was a wonderful host. The rooms are very clean, the terrace is lovely and the breakfast choice is excellent. Beds are very comfy, we slept very well. I would recommend this hotel to anyone going for a break there. The hotel had everything we would need in a room plus more. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.

We were very happy with this hotel. I arranged ahead of time for the hotel to send a driver to the airport. He was waiting for us when we arrived. I also had them arrange a driver to the cruise terminal. We stayed in the Annex Building double room called Boschetto. They had a small elevator to that floor for the bags. We walked up and down after the bags were in the room. The room was small but we only used the room to sleep, too many sites to see in Rome. The room also had air conditioning. The Monti area seemed very safe and there are lots of restaurants to pick from. I would stay at Hotel Grifo again.
