Swim-up Rooms & Private Pools in San Jose del Cabo

Our absolute favorite place to stay in San Josè Cabo. No other property can even come close to comparing. The staff is amazing, pleasant, and helpful. A waiter went out of his way to be extremely helpful with a food allergy, and made my night. Our room was enormous, with a plunge pool on our patio, with access to the wading pool. The property looks very minimal, but offers so much. Tons of places to lounge near the beach, or pools, never a fight for a good spot. My only complaint would be the prices at the spa. Everyday our butler would bring a lists of specials for the spa for the next day. Even with 1/2 off the prices rival USA prices in high end spas.

Absolutely magical! My partner and I celebrated his birthday at Viceroy Los Cabos and it was the perfect romantic getaway. We stayed in the Junior Suite, Ocean View with a private plunge pool and butler service, and were blown away by the attention to detail and personalized care. Our butlers, Oscar Lara and Laura, were exceptional—always attentive, thoughtful, and truly went above and beyond to make our stay special. The entire staff at Viceroy is warm and welcoming, always greeting us by name and remembering our dietary preferences, which made every meal feel personal and tailored. The resort itself is tranquil and serene—ideal for couples seeking peace and privacy. While children are allowed, the atmosphere remains calm and never feels disrupted. Dining on property is on the pricier side, and the spa was a bit too expensive for us to try, but these are minor notes compared to the overall experience. We also arranged round-trip transportation through the hotel, and once again, the staff was fantastic and made everything seamless. Viceroy Los Cabos exceeded our expectations in every way. We left already planning our next visit. Five stars, without hesitation!

The Viceroy is one of the most beautiful hotels we’ve stayed at. Several weeks before our arrival, Jennifer and Edin began reaching out to us to ensure we had a phenomenal stay. The team booked our excursions, made real time edits, and were available for anything we needed help with. The property was beautiful, the entire staff was super helpful and polite. The rooms were beautiful, very clean, and relaxing. Highly recommend the suite with plunge pool. 10/10 property. Last, special shoutout to Jennifer and Edin. They were very responsive and helped make our trip seamless and enjoyable. Thank you for such a phenomenal experience. You’re the best.

Beautiful property!!! What we loved most: Wonderful, so relaxing, amazing service (special mention to Samuel & Raul at pool area), unique architecture (love the "huts"), pool is at perfect temperature, great food and drinks, rental bikes, hotel very clean, mexican rest and hotel rooftop highly recommend, close to town. What we would change: Bathrooms are really small. No door to bathroom. If you travel with family it's tough. Pools by ocean are small & get crowded. Pool by hotel a little bigger. Arrival could be more attentive Overall we loved it & highly recommend!! Thank you!!

Mario, our butler, was great. Super easy to get a hold of via WhatsApp and had a lot of information. The hotel is in a great spot, right on the beach and a $5 Uber ride into town square with restaurants directly across from the hotel. All of the food we ate at the hotel was amazing. Especially dinner at Cielomar. The staff there were so nice and attentive. Brought out a dessert and sparkler for our anniversary and they had a live band play during dinner. Although the food at the resort is expensive, it’s on par with Vegas prices for restaurants/food. Getting chairs at the pool was always easy. The pool attendants were helpful and kind, always offering to adjust the umbrellas. The water temperature was refreshing in the heat and was perfect temperature. They even had sunscreen at the pool you could use. Over all, I would stay here if we came back to Cabo

The swim out pool was perfect. The food was definitely satisfying and the staff was always friendly.

Very nice location on the beach front, easy transport from the airport, relaxed a lot during my stay, completely enjoyed the swim out pool of my suite, very much satisfied in our honeymoon!

Great room (Altitude with private pool). Food was cold at most places. Hit or miss on staff friendliness.

This was a family friendly resort with lots of great activities and friendly staff. We upgraded to a beach access swim out room in the Altitude tower (thanks, Gabe!). Do this! This gave us access to The Grill for breakfast (with Beatriz, the best server), Sky Lounge (Raul) and adult pool. We loved the swim out pool, which the servers came around to make sure we were taken care of. My kids loved Kamp Krystal, the staff kept them entertained. This Expedia associated resort is perfect for a chill family vacation. I highly recommend it!

The all inclusive resort is wonderful in many respects. We stayed in the Altitude tower and I think that choice elevated (no pun intended) our experience. Guests of the Altitude tower had access to the roof top sky lounge with top shelf liquor options with single and double padded lounges and a private small shallow pool. We enjoyed meeting many of the staff like Enrique at the sky lounge, Pedro and Pablo at the adults only swim up pool bar, Charlie at Rissotto who set up a wonderful private dinner for us on the beach, and Alan who joined us in a game in billiards at Time Out bar. The beach sand and view was amazing. The only negative is the inability to swim here due to the rough ocean waves. That said, the crashing of the waves was especially relaxing at night with our balcony door open (no bugs at this time of year I guess? ). The resort is not in Los Cabos! It’s a 25 minute drive to the nightclubs and places like Cabo Wabo. The rooms in Altitude tower were very nicely appointed with comfortable king beds. All the rooms there were facing the ocean with first floor rooms having private swim-up balconies. I can’t speak for any other buildings or rooms in the resort but my suspicion is that they are not nearly as nice. Spend the extra $$ on Altitude King ocean view room.

We had an excellent stay at this property. Everything was amazing. The food and service was wonderful and being right on the beach was such a bonus. Would come back again and loved the swim up room. Spend the money and get the updated room with a butler!

Such an incredible visit even during the off season! Our concierge, Luis Miguel, was one of a kind. Cannot recommend the swim up room enough. Each person that helped us so kind and knowledgeable. Only wish would be more nightlife activity outside of the sports bar for dancing.

Everything was so amazing, we stayed at a swim up room and they truly treated us like family. Catalina and Manuel went above and beyond to take good care of us. We didn’t want to leave. We will be back! The food was to die for.

We’re in day 2 of 5 of our stay. Our stay has been great. Excellent service and hospitality. Special mention to Alfredo at the swim up bar and Trini, our personal hotel guide. Everyone has been very nice and accommodating. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Simply amazing. I went with my 13 month daughter and there were plenty of things for her to do and we still had fun at the swim up bar drinking and things. The food was delicious and views amazing

The master suite was so beautiful and spacious! The resort grounds were clean and all of the staff were extremely helpful and kind! Enjoyed the swim up bar at the pool.

The staff was amazing! So attentive and friendly, Servando was so welcoming and always made sure we had the best cabana. Roberto (swim up bar) and Fernando were awesome!

My family and I had the most wonderful time here. This was our first time at an all inclusive and the room, food and service exceeded our expectations. Our concierge Geronimo went above and beyond at every moment to look after us. As a queer family we were attracted to the hotel because of its positive ratings and we were not disappointed. On the occasion of being treated poorly by a staff member at the one restaurant on site not run by the hotel, the whole reserve team , especially our concierge, Geronimo, jumped into action to remedy the situation. We genuinely felt taken care of. We had an amazing Spa day and felt super relaxed and taken care of. The beach and area of ocean safe to swim in are magical. Away from the crowds of Cabo san Lucas the Paradisus is a gem of a hotel. We look forward to going back soon!

the pizza place is an amazing spot to Relax, grab a drink and eat some delicious food. lunch is amazing especially when Isabel is your waitress. the swim up bar is a great place to really catch a good buzz my friend Jose knows how to make the best drinks around. You really can’t beat this place.

Incredibly clean. Six excellent restaurants for dinner and multiple food service options for breakfast or lunch. Great drinks service poolside with three beautiful pool options with swim up bars. Additional options available at their sister property in the marina area of Cabo with frequent shuttle service between the two. Perfect place to completely relax with no need for planning if you take the all inclusive option. Would absolutely stay at this property again.

We did the all inclusive plan and the dining food options were surprisingly delicious. They maintain the property really well. It’s rather quiet. The views are beautiful. I would definitely go back what I didn’t like. Was the plunge pool on our balcony tends to be cooler water. And there’s not much to do after 8 o’clock, but if you’re looking for something quiet and great views, this is it.

My husband and I stayed at this resort for the fist time and we were VERY happy. BEAUTIFUL!! First, I'm very glad I decided to send a message to the resort prior to arriving. I asked them for help booking all of my dinner reservations, an atv/camel adventure glass boat tour and spa treatments. Manny helped me and he was fantastic! He had an itinerary waiting for us when we arrived. We checked in first. We did not take advantage of the "premium all inclusive" NOT NECessary for us. Unlimited, all we could drink and a choice of 6 different places to eat, was plenty for us. We got pesos before arriving at the resort. was good so we had tipping money the entire trip. we also rented a car at the airport. That was a pain. Not sure if we would do it again, as the resort is abt13 min. drive from the marina. NOTE that if you do decide to rent a car, YOU MUST opt in for their insurance. It worked out for us because we were only staying a wk. They put a hold on about $400 USD (as they do in the US)... Our room was a luxury suite, make sure to note at check in if you have VIP access ask them to explain your benefits. you get some extra discounts and upgrades, parking incl.. if you don't bring it up, it might get missed. Our room was a luxury suite w/plunge pool. Spectacular view. The rooms don't get super cold but I wasn't uncomfortable. They clean each day. The food was great. Carts will drive u arnd resort. My studio in Phase 1 was not the best this year. The air conditioning was very difficult to regulate unless it was turned completely off, thus the room was freezing. Light fixtures need replaced. I am an owner in Phase 1 and this is the first time I was disappointed. Also, the lounge chair situation this year at pool #1 was a major problem, not enough chairs for the number of guests at pool 1. We had to skip our all inclusive breakfast so that we could arrive at the pool early enough to acquire seats. The pool concierge (female) was policing the area the entire day, if you left you seat vacant for more than 30 minutes your personal items were in jeopardy of being removed and your chair taken. Not very relaxing to say the least! If you purchase an all inclusive meal and drink ticket be prepared to loose out of at least 80% of your meals and drinks due to the monitoring of chairs. Even in a group you have to have one person on your lounge every 30 minutes so it's impossible to take turns going for meals. Perhaps the logic behind this is you loose money while the resort saves it!

Amazing service! Amazing food and views! I would highly recommend upgrading to a Casita with a rooftop plunge pool. 10/10!!!

Marquis Los Cabos was absolutely incredible! From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional — every staff member made us feel genuinely welcome and cared for, with warm, attentive service throughout our stay. The entire property is stunning, with breathtaking ocean views at every turn, and the adults-only, no-timeshare atmosphere made it all the more peaceful and relaxing. I'd booked two Eden Casitas, one for me and one for my friend and they were like little vacation spots in and of themselves. The Casita was truly a dream — private, beautifully appointed, and featuring a plunge pool, which made it feel like my own little sanctuary within the resort. Having that private space to unwind, with the ocean in the background, was pure luxury. The spa service was another highlight — the treatments were professional, serene, and rejuvenating, Loved the cabana service by the pool; the staff was so attentive without ever feeling overbearing, making sure we had everything we needed to simply relax and enjoy every moment. The dining options were excellent as well — creative, delicious, and beautifully presented, with great drinks and a good variety to choose from. If you’re looking for a truly luxurious, relaxing, and welcoming experience in Cabo, Marquis Los Cabos is an amazing choice. Can’t wait to return!

Restaurants were excellent. Service was excellent. Plenty of sunbeds by pool (but prime location ones get taken very early). Excellent pool. Unfortunately couldn’t swim in sea as very strong currents (this is normal here I believe) but the pools were superb and not overcrowded. Great entertainment. Superb service everywhere including at sunbeds by the pools. Overall extremely satisfied.

WOW! We had an amazing experience at Marquis Los Cabo. The view from our balcony overlooking the beach was absolutely breathtaking. Room cleaned and modern, housekeeping did an awesome job daily. We had a little bit of rain our second day but that didn’t prevent us from enjoying the infinity pool with an amazing view of the ocean. We had both sunrise cabanas for Saturday and Sunday. Poolside service was superb. Maricruz went out of her way to assist us so we specifically asked for her for Sunday cabana service for our party. Maricruz constantly checked in on us making sure we had everything we needed throughout our use of the cabanas. Amazing! The food was good, plenty of variety and options. We preferred food service poolside which had wood oven pizza a must. Taco stations varieties of meats and endless sides and condiments with fresh guacamole and chips. The manager worked with the chef and prepared us a Molcajetes with beautiful slices of cheeses, beef, cactus, chorizos and shrimp serve with salsa and hot corn and flour tortillas, hot fresh churros with caramel and chocolate sauce. All brought to our cabana. WOW! OMG! Such amazing experience. The highlights of our stay were the different nightly entertainment, outdoor beachfront. Mariachis and folklorico dancing, acrobatics live band playing 80’s and 90’s. Food service during the entertainment nightly. We all agreed that we would return. Thank you everyone!

We had such a great swim up experience with margarita, Erick, Angel, Antonio, and The captain Oscar. They were engaging and fun. They kept the drinks flowing and the mood light. Also the sushi was on point especially the special Sushi roll. Thanks to the team at La Pergola. They did a great job.

Juan Ramon was our server at the swim up bar near the pizza restaurant and he was absolutely amazing. We went back again just for him! Terrific service and so friendly!

We renewed our vows at this resort and it was perfect! We had the ceremony on the beach and reception at the Las Marias Terrace and everything was amazing (except the hot sun during our ceremony, but its OK). We had a group of 50 people (mix of adults and children) so it was hard to dine together, but the resort did it's best to accommodate us when it could. We really enjoyed the free upgrade to the Vista Villas, thanks to the awesome hotel manager, Mauricio :) We stayed at the Encanto Suites in 11/2019 and it was great with the spacious suite, kitchenette, little pool on the balcony and the ocean view. Needless to say, we fell in love and definitely wanted to bring our family back. I also wanted to thank our Vista butler Omar, who was awesome in taking care of us with anything during our stay. He made sure our rooms were cleaned and stocked with beers and waters everyday! And my wonderful vow renewal event planner, Daniela. She was so sweet and detailed in helping me plan for the vow renewal, everyone in my party had a blast and said it was perfectly unforgettable! But just to be honest, some things you might have to expect when coming here is the service at the swim up bars are slow. Seems like the staff only come over to help you when you give a lot of tips. Also, make sure to make reservations if you plan to eat at the Marina resort area. We went there one day & no one seemed to know when the restaurant would open. They said 11, then 1130, then 12- wasted time :(

This property was an Suprise. I have underestimate the size and quality of this place. The only thing I would comment there were not enough umbrellas by the pools for everyone. Pool service personals had not the I am happy to work here attitude. Occasionally it felt like we bother them to get us drinks. I did not like staff of 4 employees ( apparently inspection ) were dinning in hotel guests area by the pool...does not appear to me professional. The driveway to resort is not as glamorous as other resorts do have. Otherwise we loved this resort. Spotless, groomed to perfection, the best resort I have seen so far in Mexico to accommodate children to play fun and safe in pool areas.

My wife and I came to enjoy some time of relaxation and fun. We love Hacienda Encantada. The service was good everywhere we went. Tania Santillon the pool concierge was exceptional if you need anything you can see her and she will take care of you. The pool waiters and waitress were awesome. We had Ingrid Angel, Omar and Juan as our servers. All three were awesome and always around when you needed service. All servers always had a smile and greeted us when we walked by them. The head waiter was welcoming, very friendly and wanted the guest to feel welcomed. Great experience this week at Hacienda Encantada. The pool remodel looks real good. The service at the Pizza restaurant was good. What was not good was we were told to come to the lobby to pick up our room keys at 4:00. We did and there was a long line of people checking in. We had to wait 30 minutes along with others trying to pick up their room keys. They need an express line for key pick up. We also asked for maintenance to come to our room to fix the sliding glass doors, in phase one, that would not lock. Maintenance never came by. We used a strength band to secure the doors. Also disappointed that the Maria restaurant is only buffet we don’t eat a lot so it is not worth the high price for two of us. We used to love to go eat our breakfast up there. Glad I bought pan dulce (sweet bread) at the store before arriving at the resort. 😆

This was one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. About 2/3 of the main pool/swim-up bar was under construction but there is plenty of pool space anyway. You will be glad you stayed here.

Cabo Azul is our favorite. Have gone there maybe 5 times. Best pools, clean, love the gym. We were so disappointed, we did not realize that the 2 upper pools & swim up bar/ Flore de Noche Restaurant were closed & were under construction. The food at Javier’s was not as delicious as we remembered

The pools were very nice; they are well maintained and heated. There are several pools on the property and plenty of lounge chairs and space. The food, drinks, and service were excellent. We ordered drinks at the pool each day and room service for dinner. My family will definitely be staying here again.

Such a beautiful resort with so many pools. Everyone is kind and helpful. Only negative is you are not allowed to bring any drinks to the pool and the bar was expensive. But we would take a break from the sun and eat in our rooms or across the way. Such a fantastic location in walking distance to the town.

The property has been updated and well taken care of by the staff. Great food options and nice swim up bar. They have one of the few locations where they let you get in the water at the beach. Highly recommend giving it try.

The facility is gorgeous. Half the staff was happy and warming the other half seemed like they didn't want to be working. Once we arrived i had my go pro stolen from my luggage. It was taken out of it and after that i was on edge and high alert. The pool is gorgoues but was not warm. The swim up pools were nice and were a little warmer. Also there was no hot tube

Stayed for 6 nights at the reserve. Beautiful property. You really feel like you’re in a desert oasis! The pool was fantastic and the swim up bar has delicious drinks. The beach has amazing views and is very nice to relax on. Food was top notch as well. Overall “partying” options (If that’s your thing) may be lower than other places but if you’re looking to relax I don’t know what else you could want!

The staff were truly kind, helpful and sweet. Not only to the guest but to each other. They would greet each other with a handshake and a hug and pat on the back. They worked together and greeted guests with a friendly Buenos Dias every time we passed them when out and about walking. Room service was impeccable, Javier at the Swim Up Bar was attentive and fun. Roberto went out of his way to find the ingredients for the drink my sister and I requested. We had fun and were relaxed and didn't want our vacation to end.

I can't express how accommodating and attentive this staff are at the Paradisus! I was looked after ever so profoundly with my biggest request being moved to the MÉ (sister hotel) because I ended up alone on the trip (unplanned). Yes, they accommodated my request while also providing daily credits. I can't tell you the level of over the top service that Manuel the general manager provided. If you end up staying here, select the Reserve option as the private pool and exclusive restaurant are worth the extra fee! The food is divine otherwise.

What was such a treat at the Esperanza, was the quality of people, the professionalism of service and staff, the personal care, making every effort to make you feel extremely spoiled. Karim, your personal concierge, is exceptional. Jaesian and Fernanda at the pool are top notch in service. The pool is stunning with its 2 infinity edges and seating in the 3rd level. And a beautiful beach to enjoy. The Restauant on site, located with a spectacular view, fabulous dishes that are clearly created by magnificent chefs, is our go to spot even after trying other 5 star local restaurants in close 5 star resorts. We give the Esperanza a 10 out of 10!

This is truly a 5 Star property. The service was amazing and it didn't feel like the typical Mexico resort with all inclusive services and drunk people everywhere. The service pool side was amazing to say the least. The restaurants were world class. I want to thank a few of the people who served us while we were on property. Alberto Bouczan at the pool and Amirus at the beach side cabana. Wow, what a property.

This resort is beyond amazing. The view in our casita was absolutely outstanding. Alicia was so accommodating with our every need. Pool and spa are gorgeous. The entire property is so clean and landscape is beautiful. We had such a wonderful and relaxing time. The only issue we had was at the pool we were constantly trying to get someone to take our order for drinks and food - even just getting a towel we had to ask a few times.

Esperanza was an amazing oasis. The service was impeccable. Starting from the security they provide, which included several checkpoints as you enter the resort, to make you feel completely safe. Staff was on hand to open your car door and greet you and provide towels, water, bag service right out of the car. The rooms were spacious, clean, and inviting. The restaurant, Cucina del Mar, was world class and the views were unbeatable. The entire resort was well kept, serene, and was the perfect resort to relax, enjoy the ocean views and listen to the waves crash against the rocks as you sipped on your drink either ocean side or poolside. We look forward to going back.

We always receive impeccable service at Esperanza. The property is beautiful, the food is amazing, and the amenities are fabulous. What really makes Esperanza special is their amazing staff, every time we have to leave, it feels like leaving family. I would like to recognize the following people: Luis, Jersain, Juan Carlos(one at the pool, one at Cocina del Mar), Sergio, Amyris, Christian, and Eduardo. You are ALL amazing and made our stay so special. We always look forward to our return to Esperanza. We felt safe and well taken care of during this especially crazy time.

Beautiful rooms with plunge pool. Service, as usually, is top notch. Gorgeous ocean views (can’t swim at beach though, obviously). Restaurants on sight are fantastic. Highly recommend use of the spa products in the room!! They are amazing! Highly recommend if going to Cabo area.

Anniversary trip. The dedicated concierge service was outstanding. Needs were anticipated and there were incredible touches that weren’t requested. Rose petals and champagne with turndown service. Plunge pool pre-heated. Our room was wonderful. Incredible view, very comfortable, thoughtful indoor/outdoor design. Property design was great. Common areas, restaurants, pools, fitness center were all top notch. At the end of our stay, our concierge worked with a local pharmacy to get some respiratory therapies delivered. Above and beyond level of service. Lifetime Titanium Bonvoy member - best Marriott stay we have ever experienced!

Stayed mid-July and it was HOT! Our visit timing was planned for a birthday celebration. I would likely not travel to this location mid-summer again. That being said, it’s a wonderful hotel. Excellent service, beautiful views, delicious food. Probably the best room we’ve ever experienced at a Marriott property. Minus 1 star as it has 2 pools - an adults only pool and a family pool. The entire adults-only pool & bar/restaurant area was closed during our stay. We did communicate with the concierge prior to our stay regarding activities & amenities and the closure was not brought to our attention until we arrived at check-in.

The room is spacious and awesome, the pool inside the room is sufficient for kids under 6 to have fun and play, but too small if your kids are older than that. We spent most of the time in the hotel pool, drinking and eating, it was fun and the service was excellent. Food was great! Specially love the seafood in the fish market, but overall every restaurant was good. The only downside for us was it's too humid and hot for the season we went, it's too hot that you can't stay anywhere outside without pool for longer than 20 mins. Would be interested to explore in Spring/Winter. Also unlike many other resorts, activity here is limited, if you want to explore the beach and ocean, this is not the place for it. If you want to relax and have fun time with family, this is great! Due to it's probably slow season, there are a lot of constructions going on, it does not really bother us other than when you are walking around the facility, it felt like a construction zone, but hope it got all finished soon!

Zadun is a beautiful location with amazing landscaping and views and well trained, kind and professional staff. I and my kids were called by our name in every staff encounter. The beach has huge waves creating a spectacular booming crash on the shore, but that also makes it very dangerous for kids. There are amazing pools kept at a perfect temperature instead. The spa has excellent facilities if you book a treatment and programs for very light yoga and meditation that are mostly complimentary. Food is top notch and top priced. The wine list was not reasonable price for the selection, so I had cocktails top priced as well, but discouraged over drinking (at least for me) and were delicious. The best amenities for me, however, were the ambassadors program for the kids and our tosanari. My kids were spoiled by Zadun and treated as respectfully as I was treated at all times. My kids' special requests were always accommodated. My son got a few bug bites from playing in the sand and when I asked for advice about them, I was surprised to find a medication for him in the room with a handwritten note wishing him a speedy recovery from the bite accompanied by a paint set and activity pad. On this note I would say to adults only travellers who don't like kids, there are rooms with privacy, plunge pools and a responsive room service team where you can relax in peace. Zadun is a great choice for your next luxury vacation that I strongly recommend.

Extraordinary service. Catered to our every need, including dietary restrictions. Lovely pool area. Grand class corner suite had stunning view and private plunge pool. On-site restaurants were generally very good, and Cocina de Autor was outstanding.

The Grand Class Corner Suite was beautiful and spacious. The oceanfront balcony with private plunge pool was stunning! The food and drinks were excellent. Our concierge was attentive to any needs, especially coordinating a whale watching tour on short notice. The DJ played our favorite songs and provided excellent service as well. Overall, we were very happy with our stay at Grand Velas. We highly recommend booking Grand Velas Los Cabo’s. The whale watching tour was amazing!

This is a beautiful hotel, grounds, and numerous restaurants. We had a huge 2000sqft room with windows with sliding doors on two sides of the room. In room hot tub and a plunge pool on the deck. Beautiful sunrise views. The shower was massive, overhead, 3wall jets, and a wand. It was so nice I didn’t want to get out. There are 5 huge infinity pools and hot tub on the grounds. I loved this place and didn’t want to leave! We are vegan. Very little on the menu for the many really nice restaurants. This was a little stressful, but they made custom dishes for us, and we ate well. The many activities in the area will pick u up at the hotel lobby. We even saw whales from our room in May, which is rare.

This is the best hotel we've ever stayed in. The rooms are spacious and have every amenity you could want (there was a hot tub and plunge pool in ours). The swimming pools are unreal and the quality of the food and drinks second to none (there wasn't a meal we had that I wouldn't have paid for in a restaurant). The thing that sets this place apart though is the service. We had our own concierge (Natalia) and she was the best thing about our stay. There was nothing that was too much for her to do and she was a really useful source of information on transport/excursions etc. Natalia also arranged all our dinner reservations and was a real point of difference for our stay.

Lovely property with beautiful views, nice rooms, excellent staff and good dining options. The buffet restaurant, Frida and Lucca restaurants were excellent food and service (portions could be a bit bigger, but the resort is all-inclusive so you can always order more). We had a problem with musty odor in one of our rooms which despite staff trying to replace/clean a carpet, did not abate. It limited our ability to use the room, which was part of a two-bedroom ambassador suite we reserved. On that note, the 2-BR suite is not really a suite. It is two adjoining rooms. The listing on Expedia also indicated a "plunge pool" (in two places on the listing), which is not part of this room class. I pointed that out to management as it is essentially false advertising. The management offered us a concession on a future stay and we would happily stay there again, but I think the ambassador 2-BR family suite is not advertised correctly. The pools are beautiful and there are nice amenities like a kids club, teen club, ping pong, etc. The beach at the resort is not swimmable but excursions from Cabo are easily arranged through 3rd parties and it only takes about 20 minutes to get to the marina, where there is also a public beach easily accessible. All in all, we'd happily stay there again, and anticipate the management will honor their commitment to remediating the inconvenience we experienced with the room issue. Thanks!
