This was the most amazing stay I've had in a long time. Raul was amazing and so helpful the entire time I was there. I ended up staying for eleven days because I enjoyed it so much. When I mentioned that I would like a place to do jigsaw puzzles during my stay, Raul set up a table and a lamp in my cabin. Being that the cabins are a little out of town it was so nice for him to take me into town several times. Staying there was very calming and peaceful. His staff including Alma and Luis were wonderful. The grounds with its many flowers and water fountain has rabbits that run through and will eat from you hand. There are plenty of activities for people of all ages. This is such a wonderful place that certainly earned its excellent reviews. Thank you so much, Raul and staff.And I hope to see you again next year.

Esta propiedad es de en sueño. Tiene varias amenidades no anunciadas como sauna, torre de observación, renta de kayaks frente a la propiedad, área de fogatas, renta de racers, tour, entre otros. Es un espacio familiar super hermoso.

Overall very good hotel experience. Because of the 6600ft altitude and steep hills, walking back to the hotel from the plaza can be taxing, even for just a few blocks. The hotel had no elevator, so several flights of stairs added to the challenge. However, we chose the upper room over the ground floor because of the rooftop patio access, with nice views. Two minor negatives: 1) shower floor tiles could use some bleaching/grouting, 2) the king size bed sagged significantly on both sides, pitching in the middle, making it difficult to cuddle together with partner. No breakfast or pool amenities.

From arrival to departure the convenient location and staff attentiveness were as we expected from customer reviews. The western views from Suite 16 and the rooftop terrace were beautiful at every time of day. With western exposure comes prolonged sunshine and heat. The bedroom had a ceiling A/C which was efficient and quiet as was the ceiling fan. The outdoor temperature was excessive as we all knew from weather reports. The kitchen and family room were hot but we adapted. No A/C there so: close the curtains during hottest daylight; open screened windows for cross ventilation to take advantage of the outside air temp as beneficial. The suite has windows on 2 sides and opening the front door offered a 3rd air flow. Walking uphill or down from Casa Mia brought a multitude of picturesque destinations along cobblestoned walks: el Mirador viewpoint, Parque Benito Juarez, el Chorro hill; Parroquia Cathedral, Fabrica la Aurora galleries, the Art Institue SMA, the Canal family mansion/museum with stunning Guanajuato artist's collections and free entry. This is a very small representation of great places to visit. SMA is a Very friendly place and used to tourists. If you see a doorway, look inside. Just by chance we found many amazing courtyards - cool and filled with beauty. We are both in 70 years old and walked everywhere, but we saw that taxis were easily available. Our front desk offered many ideas and directions, but local community will keep you busy in a living postcard.

This is my first international trip since Covid and I must say that Casa Mia Suites is a great place to stay. The wi fi works well, it's only a 5 minute walk to El Centro and there is a roof top area to enjoy the sunset with a nice glass of wine. We stayed in the suites which was more room than I imagined for 2 people. There was a full kitchen, dining room, living room and bedroom. The staff is very nice and my husband and I felt very safe. I recommend it for the value, it's very clean and everything works very well. We got suite #4 and the refrigerator chilled our wine very nicely. You feel like you are living like a local as it's only 5 minutes away. There is a great breakfast place around the corner as well as a cool little organic grocery store to buy fruits. San Miguel de Allende is the most charming place and is very tranquil. It's a great get away from the busy ness and rush of the U,S. Please consider staying here if you want the most value for your money.

Casa Mia Suites offers a great value for very comfortable accommodations and a great location. We were able to walk to so many places of interest including art galleries, restaurants and coffee shops, outdoor areas, shopping of so many different types, the post office, and some of the most notable churches in Mexico. We were pleased to find out that San Miguel de Allende is a UNESCO World Heritage Site while looking for some other information. We were given bottled water each day and room amenities as needed. Come prepared to converse in Spanish as the employees don't know much English or any other language. The place is lovely to look at, offers a safe and convenient location, and is comfortable to stay in. Restaurants are right nearby so you will have to be prepared to buy all of your meals. We had good wifi service - I'm not sure why some other reviewers didn't have access to wifi. And we found the front desk workers as helpful as they could be being they didn't know much English. Maybe they should be required to take an English course of some type since many guests are American?

Wow!! What a gem- stayed in the king suite with 2 levels - full kitchen and 2 bathrooms- beautiful rooftop terrace with sink and full set of dishes with lovely comfy outdoor chair set. Amazing view of church. Watched the most magnificent sunsets. 3 min walk to the Jarden- could faintly hear music but complete silence after mid night- only the occasional toll of a church bell. The staff is lovely!!!! Beautiful court yard set behind gates that were secured at night. Our third time in SMG and this place was hands down not only the best place- it was spotless- comfy and the price was stellar. Will be the only place we stay and recommend when we return. Thank you!!!

The location was great and the rooms very nice. Our group had 4 rooms, all different style and beautifully done. The beds were huge and very comfortable. There are two options for breakfast: 1.You have to let them know in advance so they bring you breakfast on the rooftop where you have a great view of the town and the cathedral (we never did that). 2. You walk several blocks down the street to their other property and you choose your breakfast from their menu. You get to order one item + a juice or a fruit platter. The menu items were great - delicious and pretty substantial for breakfast. Also the staff was kind and really helpful. We ended up having an issue with our flights and the receptionist went so far of her way to help us even offered her local credit card as ours wouldn't go through. Eventually, we didn't have to use it but were quite amazed at the offer. All in all it was a great stay.

What a beautiful place! Pictures look exactly like the actual room - clean large room with comfy bedding and multiple seats for sitting (always an oversight in many hotels). Simple breakfast included that could be delivered to your room or the terrace - same every day, but fresh cut fruit, coffee, juice, and some pasties. They have two ground floor rooms right near the lobby (which we booked), but no elevator. There is a rooftop terrace that looked beautiful but we didn't go because of rain at night for nights we stayed. About 2-3 blocks to the Zocalo and other sites but a bit away from the tourist route so quiet. Staff very helpful. Would stay again in a second.

I liked because it’s comfortable, all clean, good safety place, the room’s name is like colors and flavors and the room smells like name, my room was chocolate and smelled to chocolate and wood because has wood on the roof, i’m sure that it’s perfect for couples. San miguel de allende it’s a little magical town and beautiful place the people it’s very nice, and quiet place. I’m sure you’ll love it.

We had a great 16-night stay at Casa del Tío Boutique Hotel. The rooms were comfortable, and the staff were pleasant and accommodating. The highlights of our stay was the rooftop, where we enjoyed our breakfast and took in the views. The provided breakfast was a great way to start each day, with fresh fruit, yogurt, granola, juice, coffee, and even pastries. The location close to the Jardín makes this hotel a great choice.

A very nice hotel that is located in the center of the city, granting ease of access. The room was very spacious and clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good, and one can either be served on the rooftop terrace -- which has great views of the city and the surrounding hills and mountains -- or in their room.

Where to start. Traveling by motorcycle has numerous challenges, one of which is where to securely park a bike for the evening. Not an issue at Casa Don Quijote. Next, the rooms are beautifully appointed, a quartz sink, walk in shower with a modern overhead spigot with sufficient pressure to wash away a weeks worth of dirt. My room "Rosa" was roughly 18 steps up the stairs but worth it, even carrying 60 lbs of travel gear. Breakfast is complimentary and is very, very good indeed. There is also a nice restaurant/bar available. My Camarones Gusto were fantastic and a bottle of Cabernet set me back $20 USD. Practicality. Hotel Casa Don Quijote is roughly five blocks (uphill all the way) to the Parroquia de San Miguel which is a beautiful cathedral across from the city's central square. That said, it is five blocks downhill to the hotel after you've dined. I will miss this place and am certain to return. Although most of the employees do not speak English, they make every attempt to ensure you are comfortable. Truth is, on a personal level, I need to learn how to speak the beautiful Spanish language.

My mother and me really enjoyed the stay. Staff was friendly at first I did hesitate to book here due to the reviews. For the price it was excellent. Valet parking was available which they were really friendly all 3 of the guys who helped. The minute we arrived the offer us something to drink. They were willing to accommodate mom to the first floor. Is a 10 min walk to el centro, it felt safe and it was super quiet. Room was clean daily, I loved the coffee machine. Breakfast was good and staff was friendly all 5 days we were there. Anything we needed they provided. The TV they do need to turn on for you the first time. That was not an issue for me. I still had to work during my trip I would work at the court yard and internet was fast. My sister passed by to SMA and they were super friendly and helpful with her even though she was not a guest. My mom loved the hotel she did not want to leave. I was very happy with everything.

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay in a superior queen room on the second floor. The room was big, bright, clean and comfortable. The beds were really comfortable. The windows could be opened for fresh air and the air conditioning worked well. The breakfast was good and free bottles of water were available from reception. Everyone working at the hotel was very friendly and helpful. We wanted a good authentic Mexican restaurant for dinner and got good suggestions from the people at reception. It was about a 15 minute walk to the centre of town and we found a couple of interesting routes to get there. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

The fresh and pretty cafe on your left as you enter the hotel from Pila Seca is worth a visit whether you are staying at the hotel or not! We met the manager/cook at Enamora-Te at Luciernega mall. When he moved to the Hotel Don Quijote to open a second location, the five women with whom I have breakfast every Monday, decided to try it. Delightful decor, great service and delicious breakfast. Best hash browns in San Miguel! Discover this little gem.

Room was spacious and very clean. They had breakfast buffet included which was basic but very delicious. Beds were comfortable and roof had A/C. Small hotel with easy access to the street. At 11 pm they close the main metal bars gate door so it was safe at night. Will go back soon and probably will stay at this same place.

It was within close walking distance to restaurants and to the parrochia de San Miguel Ángel. The pool area was clean and the lounge chairs comfortable and pool towels available. There were also tables and sitting areas around the pool and yard area with plentiful lighting and bathrooms in case you didn’t twang to go to the room.

Wonderful place to stay and explore San Miguel de Allende. It is centrally located yet quiet and peaceful to have a good rest. The pool is very nice to swim in the day or evening. The room was very nice with a comfortable big bed, plugs near the bed, and a lovely view into the pool area. Breakfast was served in another room upstairs which also allowed for beautiful views towards the tip of the cathedral. Would love to stay again and already it recommended to others

My room was large, comfortable and quiet. I enjoyed my stay immensely. I was there the first week in August and it’s hot out. Unfortunately, the pool water is quite warm too so a dip isn’t as refreshing as I’d like but hey, there was a pool right outside my room and it was lovely to look at and to sit by too.

This hotel was like a hidden little gem tucked away in this beautiful city. The garden was stunning was a pool to lounge by. My room was ground level so I could easily enjoy the garden and pool. It was walking distance to the city center with so many incredible shops and restaurants.

Situated close to the centre of town the hotel is pretty with the rooms all based around a lovely courtyard garden central area with swimming pool. The pool itself is warm and pleasant to sit around. The rooms are typically a decent size. Breakfast is included, which makes a pleasant change and it’s pretty good.

Absolutely the best place to stay if you are on a driving tour. It is on the very edge of the Historical District less that a 10 minute walk to everything and has plenty of parking. The hotel itself offers a pool and a very large open area. The rooms are very large and super comfortable. Suited us perfectly and we will definitely be staying there again!

The property is huge with a gorgeous garden. I loved the feeling of it being an old nunnery (which I think is the case). The pool was warm and really nice on a chilly afternoon. The staff was great and the location was perfect.

Amazing location, in the historic center and “old town” of San Miguel de Allende, in a very quiet neighborhood with a giant garden and outdoor pool. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

The staff is really friendly. The pool is heated and amazing. It is not deep, so excellent if you bring kids. It is on the rooftop, and there is a bar to order food and drinks. The facilities are clean and modern. Rooms are large with AC. Bathrooms were nice and the shower was really good!! Comfy beds. TV where you can log in to your Netflix etc. Good wifi. They serve breakfast for a fee (200mxn adult and 100mxn for child), we didn't try it though. They had board games in the reception. Would come again!!

Great hotel outside the city center, 20-minute walk (but not with luggage, best to get taxi), or local bus with inexpensive fares. Very safe and quiet location. Swimming pool, tennis courts, gym. 5-minute walk to nice shopping mall, Soriana supermarket, some good restaurants, cinema. Hotel staff is very hospitable and accommodating, called taxi for me, gave good directions, suggestions and guidance. Buffet breakfast has great options including hot and cold drinks. Very good value! Note: SMA is hilly, lots of incline, decline which may be challenging to walk for certain people. Super good value!!!

Very nice hotel and good location on the outskirts of San Miguel de Allende. Quiet area, next to MAC hospital and walking distance to a smaller Liverpool mall. Breakfast was good, the exercise facilities are nice, rooftop pool and running track. About 100 pesos to take taxi to town.

Amazing facilities, including the pool, gym, track, tennis court. Beds were comfortable and rooms are spacious. Great selection of breakfasts and drinks! A big selection of shops a short walk from the property. Recommend this stay!

Our stay at Live Aqua was great. The hotel is like an art gallery. Sculptures, lots of art in common areas and in room. Room was beautiful (modern but functional) Beds and linens were top of the line. Our family of four were there for four nights and we loved it. Husband and I went to spa and got a private room with its own steam, sauna and mini pool. (Upgrade) Our boys got to go to kids club (a resort service). We didn’t go to outdoor pool because it was a little chilly for us ((60s) but it is heated. We wanted to enjoy all of San Miguel has to offer so we mainly ate out. There are two coffee shops in Fabrica La Aurora (multi-use art gallery) about 7 minutes away walking.worth the walk. Rooftop dining in San Miguel is the best. Quince and Luna Bar @Rosewood were our favorite. We had one problem at the Live Aqua and that was the Zibu Allende restaurant. The space is nice but the food and service were subpar. No cocktail list (you choose your liquor and you can add a juice for an up charge) No kids menu (they actually charged us from room service $$ One thing to note, Live Aqua is about 15 minutes walking downhill to main plaza/church) On the way back you should take a taxi/Uber because it is uphill.

I can’t express enough gratitude for the kindness of the entire hotel during our stay there this week! I recently lost my husband due to an injury in Mexico while on vacation and came to San Miguel to get some quiet and time to relax before I go home. They heard about what happened and immediately were there to accommodate me with any requests and the most sincere hearts of everyone who I came into contact with. They not only made sure I had a wonderful room but they even sent me the most beautiful bouquet of flowers and treated me to the spa. The managers, valet staff, pool staff, spa manager and staff, restaurant staff and cigar bartenders were SOOOOOOO beyond wonderful! Not to mention this was such a gorgeous hotel, such comfortable rooms with great amenities and the pool and surroundings were so tranquil, relaxing & sexy! We absolutely will be back! Thank you all so very much for your loving kindness to me and my friends at such a difficult time!

Property starting to show need for a better maintenance program, weekends is very loud with adyacente rooms, pool heater didn’t work couldn’t use the pool, staff and concierge service is excellent!! Restaurants are top notch.

I have no complaints about the condition of the room or cleanliness. It was spotless. There are a lot of stairs, so if you have trouble navigating those ups and downs, you might ask for a first floor room. I did get help from the hotel personnel in getting my suitcase to my room and back down the day I left. My only major complaint is that the internet is very spotty. It was better in public shared areas, but slow. Breakfast was included in the room rate, but I ate out most of the time, as I have a relative who lives in town. Did I mention that all the staff I interacted with were very friendly and helpful?

We had a great 5 night stay at Mirasol. The included breakfast was delicious, and all the employees were friendly and super helpful. The area is in walking distance of everything in Centro, but also super quiet. The rooms had most amenities, including AC. WiFI was average, and allowed me to work remotely in my room. King bed was very comfortable. Our room was the Bugambilia, which was a bit more private than other rooms, and included its own outdoor patio area. The overhead rain shower was the best yet in Mexico. My wife & I would def. stay here again for sure.

This is just a wonderful boutique hotel. We stayed in the room called La Rosa for 10 days and we couldn't have been happier. Very comfortable king-sized bed, roomy lounge area, small private patio. The staff were all terrific and our daily breakfast options were excellent. The Villa Mirasol is an easy five-minute walk to the historic center of this beautiful city, so you really don't need a car unless you want to head out of town. San Miguel Allende has plenty to see and do, so we just kept exploring right in town.

Beautiful place in quiet street. All rooms have their own outside seating area. Patio and outside areas are all stunning, serene and plants everywhere. Room was very clean, lots of storage space, spacious bathroom, comfortable bed, tv with some American channels. Didn't feel like a hotel was more like having beautiful Mexican apartment. Easy walking distance to all tourist areas. Short distance from bus station. I was given early check in, no extra charge and my bags carried upstairs to room and again when I left. Breakfast was complimentary for me, pancakes very good.

Villa Mirasol is a charming multi-level complex of rooms with comfy indoor seating as well as outdoor sitting places surrounded by plants and shrubs. We had a comfortable king size bed with good pillows and linens. The locale is a few blocks, some downhill, from the central square in a quiet area. There are many delicious hot breakfast choices every morning each including fresh fruit, juice and coffee/tea with excellent service. Not all staff speak English but all are very helpful and pleasant.

We loved our stay here. It is a beautiful, authentic property, gives a very good feeling and like stepping back in time. Super quiet! We absolutely love historic buildings, but if you're looking for renovated, modern, this is not it, because it is a bit worn and rustic. The outdoor areas are gorgeous, beautiful courtyard, and great view. A short walk down to the center! Beds were amazing! They had a fridge, microwave, kitchen sink (had to ask for dishwasher liquid though), coffee maker and coffee kit each day as well as a bottle of water. Cutlery, plates, glasses, coffee mugs, cooking. We were there during a heatwave and there is no AC, so be aware. They had a fan, but during the heatwave we had to keep door and windows open, we were so hot. I will assume that under more normal circumstances, the fan is enough. I saw they have extra blankets as well for when the weather is cooler. The internet worked pretty well. I wish they would specify which room you get online, because all photos of our room type showed rooms with a dining table. When we got there we had a coffee table and kitchen bar (chairs not tall enough), so for me who was going to work during my stay, I had no comfortable space to sit with my laptop to work for several hours. I could've asked to change it possibly, but we loved other features so we stayed. But maybe ask in advance or state what furniture you require (incl beds: ours said one queen, but we got two full beds, that worked better in our case).

First of all, San Miguel de Allende is a beautiful city set on a hill. And Suites Santo Domingo is like our home during our recent visit. Our spacious accommodation came with a cosy en-suite bedroom, a fireplace, a small dining area and a kitchenette complete with a mid-sized fridge, microwave oven, coffee maker and a cooking stove complete with cook ware & eating utensils. Not that we needed to cook with the restaurants and shops all within walking distance. The walk to the shops and back to the hotel was manageable after which we are rewarded with a gorgeous view of the surroundings from the hotel verandah. Edwin and Luis at reception must be commended for their warm welcome, showing us our room amenities, giving suggestions on touring the city and arranging our taxi ride to the bus station. We are thankful for the strong wifi connection and a TV with a few English language channels. If we have to find fault, it will be the low water pressure for the shower.

Suites Santo Domingo is located near everything but on a higher part of the city, meaning, you will have to walk up the hill and it is very exhausting. Other than that, it’s close to everything, and the suite itself was lovely, with strong Wi-Fi in the bedroom. It felt like home. Staff was friendly and the suite was kept clean. You can save money on breakfast by having it at home. They have everything a family needs: fridge, small stove, pots and pans, plates and cups. I would return, our time there was enjoyable. The only cons was that some people who stay there can be very loud late night. All that talking woke us up. But it’s not the hotel’s fault.

One of the best hotels I have stayed in. Rooms are suites with a bedroom, kitchen and sitting room. A low rise building set into the hillside, with decks and lawn on three levels. San Miguel de Allende is a pricier than average destination, but this hotel is quite reasonable compared to the average cost. Secure parking on the premises, close to the center of town. Hot water, woo-hoo! (It can be a rarity). I'm travelling with two dogs, so "pet-friendly" is the first term on my searches. There is a pet fee, also reasonable at 200 pesos per day per pet.

San Miguel de Allende is wonderful at Christmas. The views from our suite were great and we loved the "Hacienda" style courtyard and property. Probably the most comfortable bed we have ever had in Mexico - and we had a King which is sometimes hard to find. We had a minor problem with hot water that was addressed immediately by Guerillmo. Be prepared for some steps (often without handrails because this is a beautiful classic place.) Because it was December we didn't use the cute patio or semi-private garden area but it looked inviting.

We had an incredible four night stay at L'otel Casa Arca. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. The hotel design and rooms are gorgeous, the service was impeccable, and the location just perfect in the heart of SM but on a quiet, pedestrian street. The breakfast included in our stay was delicious and huge, and the rooftop pool and lounge areas are stunning. I would not hesitate to stay here if you are lucky enough to visit San Miguel. Thank you for such a memorable stay!

Beautiful, small, elegant hotel right in the middle of everything. The rooms are big, spacious and amazing!! The hotel offers a small pool area with a beautiful view of the top of the church, a small roof top deck, an area for cocktails, etc. A restaurant with excellent food and an excellent staff. Our stay was WONDERFUL - thank you!!

We loved our stay at LOtel-Casa Arca. Beautiful property and room, the staff were all so pleasant, friendly and helpful and it was incredibly clean. We enjoyed spending the hot afternoons on the rooftop and pool every day. We only had the fruit bar for breakfast which we loved. Would highly recommend

The rooms are incredible. The staff is genuine, inviting, helpful and courteous. The spaces in the hotel are unique. And while the whole place and pool area is fairly small, the rooms are large and comfortable!

Incredible boutique hotel with staff that knows how to treat guests. I traveled to San Miguel in a rental car and it's located right on a very narrow street that I didn't feel comfortable driving down so I parked the car on the Main Street leading into the town above the hotel and parked in an overlook parking lot. I figured I would walk to the hotel which was just a few minutes away then understand the best way to reach the hotel and park. The I arrived the staff offered to go and get the car and park it for me at the property which set the stage for a higher level of service that this property offers. The property itself is so beautiful and tastefully done with lots of lush plants and unique architectural features, art and statues throughout. The rooftop area has such an amazing view of the entire city below and features a rooftop hot tub and many different areas to sit. It was a great place to sit in the morning with my coffee and plan our days and a great place at night to relax after a long day of exploring this amazing city. The room was really beautiful, well appointed and the bed was so comfortable. The food offered in the morning by wait staff was a generous continental style breakfast of yogurt with granola a large and really fresh fruit bowl, and a pastry. Any request or question we had for the staff was quickly addressed as though the guest was the number one priority. When we go back to San Miguel De Allende we will return to Mansion!

great location; walking distance to all the local attractions, restaurants, etc. taxis also available at all times & very reasonable (standard fare 70 pesos from anywhere). the property is beautiful and extremely well appointed, with attention to details in every corner. the front desk/concierge jorge bautista started helping me days before we arrived. he personally picked up a bouquet of flowers for my wife's surprise breakfast in bed and made all of our reservations for attractions, restaurants, etc. he's a native and all of his personal recommendations were excellent. tomas helped us on our arrival and although we didn't see him again, he made sure our car was safely parked and we were all ready for a night of comfort and rest. homero took his place for the rest of our stay and made sure to take care of our every need. i can't remember this kind of personal attention by the staff of any hotel, including 5-star hotels in new york, san francisco, etc

Hacienda feel with lush center courtyard. There are several steps to get up to the rooms and no elevator. Mentioned in case that is an issue. Our room was very comfortable. Clean sheets and bathroom. Good size room with wardrobe, chair and comfortable bed. Breakfast can be taken inside or out. Yogurt, granola, bread and fruit are included. Any type of eggs with beans and bacon can be ordered at an additional charge. The top of the hotel has a tremendous view of the city including the cathedral. There are several seating areas including a hot tub. We used the hot every night and enjoyed the night view of the city. The hotel is at the top of a very steep hill. Going down was fine but up was some work. After dinner we took an Uber each time.

My wife and I spent four wonderful days at this wonderful hotel. The staff was wonderful and incredibly helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the central courtyard was simply zen-like. Water fountains and birdsong provide calming background ambience. Breakfasts were tasty with a nice mix of local and familiar. Coffee was strong and my cup never ran dry. Thank you to Jorge and team for providing excellent dining directions and for the assistance with transportation around the area (e.g., hot springs). Kindness is a gift we give to each other and the folks at Mansion San Miguel made it clear they well understand how little details matter. We look forward to a future visit!

Great secret- the sunset views from the rooftop here are better than the best rooftops in downtown. Plus there is a hot tub and you don't have to spend a bunch of money on food you can have your own sunset picnic. Rooms were big. Continental breakfast was not stingy like many hotels (Casa Hoyos has a terrible breakfast for example). Ample fruit, high quality granola, good portions of yogurt. Attentive staff rushing to bring you everything you need. Nice biscuits. The walk up the hill is a good workout so if you have mobility issues this might not be the stay for you. I liked the exercise.

We loved this place. It was very quiet and bed is comfortable. The bathroom was large and spacious. There is a pool and jacuzzi just in from of rooms.

Nice place a little outside of town, thus no traffic problems, quite stay and easy to reach. As the place was built recently, everything feels nice and new, very friendly staff and no problem with arrival time around 02.00 AM. Have been staying here several times in the past, always happy - THANK YOU

Clean. Spacious rooms. Clean and comfortable bathrooms.took time for hot water to reach the room but when it got there it was hot.Limited fare at the restaurant. Hotel far away from any other restaurant.However close by we found a fantastic restaurant Don Valente which would compare with a five star place anywhere. Great food and we had some excellent French wine. Breakfast and dinner at this place was amazing. Kudos to the chef and very friendly staff. Attached to Don Valente is a spa, Barbers Spa, great for massage and other spa services. Hotel Splash was great but the services from Don Valente made the vacation so much better.

Decent but not great. Personnel at the restaurant were very friendly.

I had a great time traveling by myself in in San Miguel de Allende and this hotel was perfect. While location is not ideal (about a 20 minute walk to city center) the walk was fine in the mornings and at night I took cabs back (US$2.5 or about 50MEX pesos). I mostly used my room as a "dormitory" because I was out most of the day. By the time I came back I really just slept. They have a good restaurant downstairs, and at night time there's a taco place across the street that sells deliciously authentic and super cheap eats.

This hotel is the perfect answer and a great option for a budget travel to SMA. The hotel is brand new, very clean and comfortable. The location is just a 7min drive to downtown next to the bus terminal. I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality given the affordable Cost considering that hotels in San Miguel are very expensive, specially during the crowded weekends. Rooms are small but comfortable, the cafeteria serves very tasty breakfast options. Service is attentive and professional. I would highly recommend this hotel if in town for business or pleasure. Best value for your buck.

Fui solo por una noche pero los cuartos estan en muy buenas condiciones , limpios , tienen amenities de buena calidad ( Dove) TV , AC , estacionamiento sin cobrar , el personal fue amable. A unos pasos de la estacion de camiones y hay tiendas de conveniencia alrededor por cualquier eventualidad. Te dan agua y lo unico que no pude usar fue la cafetera pero todo excelente. Si regresaria .

Pero para términos de recomendaciones, pues la regadera me encantó. Tenía los servicios básicos y lo que no estaba en la habitación, al solicitarlo la atención era inmediata. Era un lugar limpio y cómodo y me encantó que hubiera para hacerse cafecito. la atención en recepción de buena calidad, fueron amables y con buen sentido del humor.

The pool area is amazing. It is very relaxing, you can easily spend hours there just lounging. The hotel rooms are very nice and they usually have balconies that over look the interior of the hotel which is where the pool is located.

Beautiful architecture, marble, stonework, brickwork in a well maintained, very clean hotel. Great pool. Good breakfast buffet (extra) with extended hours. A short distance from main city center (requires a car or taxi) approximately 4-5 minute drive . Parking in the city center is limited, so this hotels' parking lot was a plus to not have to wonder where to park. Foreign travelers should be aware most staff did not speak English (or very little) but they were helpful and friendly and responded to our needs quickly. They didn't give many towels, but that was really our only complaint. Room was clean. A little bit of road noise. Hair dryer in room was a plus. Photos provided by hotels.com were an accurate depiction. At the time we booked, price was significantly lower than most other hotels. For the price it was excellent and met and exceeded expectations.

Our group stayed here for one night on the way back to Mexico City. Very nice surroundings at this place! Nice pool area, very nice staff and each room had a door you could go out and sit on your patio. Nice buffet breakfast in the morning where they served you. Big beautiful ceiling in the room. Only complaint l had was the tv didn’t work and no glasses to rinse your mouth out with. Very spacious room.

This is one of my favorie "stay"cation locations! I live in San Miguel de Allende, but pop in for an overnight stay at the Imperio de Angeles because I love the old-world style of the hotel, the gorgeous (and never crowded!) swimming pool, enjoy the reasonably priced blended margaritas, the peaceful trees and attentive service.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Casa Nare. The property is beautifully designed, the location is convenient to the center, and the staff are extremely accommodating. From the street, the hotel is unassuming; however, upon entering and passing through reception (which also includes a cozy reading area), the hotel opens into a lovely courtyard garden around which all the rooms are situated. This allowed us to be close to the center without the accompanying bustle (although you will hear birds and perhaps a dog). The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. We found a lovely, personalized card welcoming us to the hotel, as well as some cookies, in our room. As we departed the hotel to explore San Miguel, reception was ready with a map for us and pointed out areas of interest, marking them on the map for us, which was invaluable. Breakfast is included, and you choose a time the day before. Once you arrive, you are seated at the dining table and served fruit, bread, coffee, and an entree from a selection. We felt very pampered. The staff is also great about providing recommendations for dining. On the day before we checked out, we mentioned that we would be leaving too early to have breakfast in the hotel, and we were so touched that they packed us a custom breakfast to go! Overall, I would highly recommend Hotel Casa Nare. The thoughtfulness of the staff made our visit truly memorable and allowed us to focus all of our energies on enjoying San Miguel.

Extraordinary service with personal and professional attention, ultra clean, nicely decorated rooms. Overall private, cozy atmosphere. Quiet street in nice area of town. “Homemade” breakfast with fresh ingredients, although limited selection. You can walk from this hotel to anywhere within San Miguel including La Aurora art center. If you prefer a cab, it will cost two dollars at most to get to the opposite side of town. However, if you need your car to go to nearby areas, you need to give 20 minute advanced notice to the front desk both before departure and arrival because the parking place is not close by, and the street is too narrow for parking in front of the hotel.

From the moment we arrived, the staff was pleasant, friendly, and inviting. The communication and organization prior to our arrival was outstanding as well. The manager of this establishment deserves five stars! He was great. The property was beautiful, and it always felt like we were walking onto a very tranquil and Zen atmosphere. Our room was spacious and clean, and the housekeeping service was fantastic. The morning breakfast was always freshly cooked and tasty. Location was centrally located and only a 10 minute walk to the Centro and the Artisan marketplace. What a great little gem of a hotel!

The hotel opens into an oasis inner court garden with lovely stone walls, a fountain and trees. We were greeted by friendly staff on every occasion, and enjoyed the rooftop for relaxation in the afternoon. The room was comfortable and we had excellent nights' sleep. The bathroom was fine and we enjoyed fresh towels every day. Breakfast was served in a side room by a friendly staff and was delicious. A lady on duty at the front desk helped us with booking a taxi and even waited on the curb to make sure we were picked up as planned.

I really loved this little gem right in the centre. The court yard and terrace upstairs were beautiful. Especially in the evening. The room was clean and reasonably comfortable from memory. The staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. I came to drop my bag before the official check in time and I was able to access the room m early. I didn’t realise I needed to pay cash, but they were more than happy for me to pay later once I was able to make a withdrawal. One of my favourite places I stayed in Mexico. Highly recommended.

The room we got was a 2 queen bed, the restroom is small but enough to be comfortable. The staff specially the males at the front desk were so nice and helpful. The location is close by everything that it is important to visit. The housekeeping did an excellent job like it exceeded all the housekeeping services from all the hotels I ever stayed at. The rooms were super clean. I would definitely stay here again. I was there with my 3 kids. The price was also good. We enjoyed it so much and rested so well.

After having seen the photos of the front of the hotel on Google Streetview, we nearly cancelled beforehand, but we were so glad that we didn't. This is a small and very individual hotel that is located within a short walk from the main square. The terrace outside our room was covered in bougainvillea and we spent the three evenings we stayed there sitting out on the terrace and admiring the pink stone tower of the parish church. The hotel was very clean. This was a wonderful unforgettable stay.

The terrace was the perfect spot for me to relax and have a zoom meeting for two hours! The internet was fast! They accommodated me at the last minute and for that I am grateful! It was easy to walk to the main square from there. While you're visiting this town go to the library.

Excellent attention from the hotel staff, always attentive and resolved all questions immediately. They recommended a place for breakfast in front of the hotel where they gave us a discount for staying at Casa San Miguel and the breakfast was delicious. Excellent location, 100% recommended.
