I liked a lot about this hotel! LOCATION !! We walked to everything in the historic, Colonial Zone, including some amazing restaurants in the evening. Breakfast Coffee & croissant complementary and delicious and $ Breakfast in lobby also very good - egg chef cooks to order. Boutique feel to the hotel - beautiful spaces and art, sunny courtyard for lounging and dinning, small but cozy rooftop pool with bar, tables and a couple of lounging spaces. ( they served Valentines dinner poolside with music the night we were there). It is a small hotel - you can look up from the open-air court yard and pretty much see all the rooms. Staff were all very accommodating. Very clean and well maintained. They front desk hooked us up with a driver who works for them ( Felix ) who was WONDERFUL.

Lovely hotel. Fabulous amenities. Central location. Excellent customer care. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this exceptional hotel. Every member of the staff was accommodating, kind, and respectful. The rooms were unique and comfortable. Any (minor) complaint we had was quickly remedied. Great value for the price! We made the rooftop pool our second home for most of the week we were there. The coffee, the pizza next door, the room service. Even the common areas were a delight for hanging out. Everything was beyond our expectations!

You can walk to a big supermarket OLÉ in about 10 minutes. The beach is just a 3 minute walk away. Mr. Thierry and his staff are very friendly and welcoming. It's a very cheap taxi or Uber ride to SDQ airport. I used Uber to go to Juan Dolio, Santo Domingo, and the airport. All easy, safe, and cheap. Recommended.

We had a really unpleasant experience at the previous hotel we stayed and when we came to casa coco we were surprised at how better it was. The owner was really nice and could speak English so it made it easier for me to talk to him and he went out of his way to help us with our luggage and get us settled in and when we were leaving he tried helping us get a taxi at a better price. The room was clean and tidy and I heard the rooms got renovated recently and it shows us here although the tv may need a upgrade since all the channels were in Spanish but i would just be nick picking at this point there were some things I wanted to tell the owner but I forgot to tell him which is my fault for not telling him sooner there’s also a pool and a breakfast only restaurant in the middle of the hotel that’s was close to our room. Although we only stayed for one day if we ever come back to boca chica we would definitely come back here I forgot to ask the owner’s name but thanks for everything.

This my favorite hotel in RD. It is small and is immaculate. The pool area, surrounded by flowering plant covered walls reminds me a a secret garden image from some children's novel. There are more flowering plants than chaise lounges. The staff here are constantly cleaning and pruning the plants. The owner, who I think is Swiss, cares as much about his hotel as he does about his guests. The restaurant only serves breakfast. The portions are good and the large slices of cantaloupe, mango and pineapple served with most of the menu selections have always been perfectly ripe in my experience. The rooms are very clean and as well maintained as the rest of the hotel. The furnishings are dated but spotless. the shower water pressure is great and the hot water is just that: HOT, not the tepid temperature many, more expensive hotels pass off. This is a great place to stay. The fact that it is also a great value is icing on the cake.

This Hotel it’s very small, but it is so comfortable and the staff members are so sweet and so nice. The pool is clean. It’s very affordable. I recommend this place 10 out of 10. I loved it.

It was the best stay ever in Santo Domingo! (I moved to Fixie Lofts during my stay in Santo Domingo cause I didn’t like my first accommodation) The location couldn’t be better—in the center of the Colonial Zone. It was really clean, neat, cozy, and spacious. Check-in and check-out processes were really easy, and instructions were very clear. They have everything to cook in the kitchen. The bed was spacious and super comfortable. I would love to stay in Fixie Lofts again when I return to Santo Domingo!

The pool is very deep but there’s also a wading pool and whirlpools to sit in. The swim up bar is great for having a cocktail at the pool and finding some shade from the hot Dominican sun! The breakfast in the morning was good and changed daily.

The staff were very, very polite. They went above and beyond for all my request. I tipped every chance i got. The kitchen servers during dinner always smiled when serving. The food OMG THE FOOD. For only $20, you received a buffett of well cooked breakfast lunch and dinner, and trust me, it is worth it. The gym was very big, lots of machines for those wondering. The big pool and the balconies in the room were great size.

Amazing hotel! Historic feel with modern amenities. Free daily drinks were a nice touch, as was the pool and free parking. The area is under construction so it's a bit confusing to get to the hotel by car. The TVs in the common areas were under par for such a beautiful hotel with outstanding service.

A wonderful experience at a great property. Waking up to look out over the Caribbean was the perfect way to start each day of our business trip. The staff at the Crowne Plaza were all extremely friendly. Additionally, the dining at Nabu and its staff were all great. Especially notable for outstanding service was Norkus at the pool bar and Francisco who took care of all of our baggage, taxi, and informational needs! We look forward to the next time we get to visit this hotel!

Everything was wonderful! The staff was polite, the rooms were clean, the air conditioning was quiet, and there was no odor in the room. The staff even helped print a few documents I urgently needed, which saved us from running around the city. We forgot a water bottle and a pair of shoes at the hotel, and when we returned later, the staff kindly returned everything — which was amazing!

For the price everything was fine but the rooms are super tiny not like the pictures represent and only 2 towels in room no garbage can no windows it felt like a fancy prison cell

This is an exceptional value. Wonderfully appointed room. Although a bit small. For the price you cannot complain. It is a safe walkable location for proximity to everything that you would want to see..

A really generous and clean hotel... quietly modern.... pays attention to details, comfortable beddings.... I will definitely remember on my next stay in Santo Domingo. Oh... the rooftop pool, gymn and restaurant were awesome too with nice views of the beach and the city ... love love... great parking.... food at the restaurant was also great. We originally booked for 1 night but we had to stay another night! We came from an Airbnb before coming here and it had issues. So we then moved to this hotel and The water worked, and the WiFi worked unlike the Airbnb. Rooms are just amazing !!!!! I recommend the balcony rooms, on a sunny day ! Everything was clean. The food was just amazing and I mean amazing !! Breakfast and dinner gosh ! Pool, spa, gym and rooftop were all great additions to the stay !

We absolutely loved our recent stay in Boca Chica at Parco Del Caribe!! From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, we were treated like extra VIP. Everyone was so extremely welcoming and hospitable. The apartment was super comfortable and had everything we needed. The balcony was beautiful to sit in and enjoy the lovely courtyard. While Boca Chica is a small town, it is definitely worth a visit. The sea is the calmest I've seen anywhere else, making it the perfect place to swim. You can see fish and the place is kept clean. The food in this town is surprisingly good. Every place we ate was delicious and the service was above and beyond. We truly felt on vacation here. If you are looking for a quick getaway, this is the perfect place. Only 10 minutes from the airport and you are in paradise 💖 We had our last few nights on the island here and it was absolutely the perfect ending to our trip. I highly recommend ☺️

I was surprised on the quality treatment i received, facility was clean, always someone at front desk to help, beach only 5 minutes away, restaurants 4 minutes away, there's a strip of little bars and food, 5 minutes away and a ice-cream store 6 minutes away, i went to ice-cream store daily, when you first look at neighborhood the hotel is located it looks ran down, it's a older neighborhood and hasn't had good up keep, but it's safe and has a lot to offer, believe i travel a lot and I know where to go and not to go, this hotel and area is a big green light, which means Go, the beach has very nice restaurants, I will be back and i will bring my children, there's a park right across from hotel and a church ⛪️,

If you're looking for a resort style experience, this is not it; however, this accommodation is very modest and nice for the price. It has all that you need if you are looking for a stay which feels similar to being home. You have what you need to cook, except the food. There was air conditioning AND ceiling fans. There was HOT water, which is not the norm for this area of the island, and there was enough space, both indoor and outdoor to be comfortable. It is 1.5 blocks away from the beach which is a big plus because you don't have to use your car for transportation. There are plenty of restaurants around, a park, and a police presence for those who may be skeptical. I would definitely stay here again. And it's 13 minutes away from SDQ.

From the moment we arrived at Parco del caribe in Boca Chica, we were greeted with warm smiles that set the tone for our stay. The hotel was located just a stone’s throw away from the beach. The room was spacious and extremely comfortable. The staff deserves special mention for their exceptional service. They went above and beyond to cater to our needs, always with a genuine smile. Special thanks to the staff who went out of their way to return some clothing items that we mistakenly left behind. In summary, our stay at this hotel was nothing short of phenomenal. open kitchen and balcony to cook in. A/C and fans in the room. Balcony is locked from inside the suite. Very safe building with Security as well. Staff is very helpful. You’re also very close to the beach and Banco Popular. Keep in mind all banks only allow $10,000 ROD a day. Though at this one banco popular you can take out $20,000 ROD which is not much while vacationing. The manager was also very helpful and got us a shuttle for $10 which is way cheaper than other services and Uber will for sure rip you off and make their own prices which are usually double. Uber also does not have XL just small cars. I would definitely staff here again as the prices are great!!!

Pero para las personas que no son fáciles de despertarse por el ruido está bien. Yo soy la que soy muy sencible al ruido.

Muy bien en muchos sentidos. Solo que se me quedo 1 collarín de almohadilla para usar en el avión y cuando llame me dijeron que no.

The location is ideal. It is close to the Colonial Zone.

This is a good location as it is accessible by bus, train, and taxi... all withing walking distance. My room was cleaned, I slept well and cleaning person was very attentive. English speaking person Luis comes in the afternoon and is very nice. So save your questions for his shift. They failed short by having me wait for 3pm checking time even though the room was ready to go. This was a Monday to Friday stay.

Everything about the location. I was able to find everything needed and expected in about 650 m radius by just walking: restaurants, café, supermarket, banks, mobile phone service provider... you name it. Looks also pretty safe and quiet. The place is very descent. My room wasn't fancy but pretty comfy. The personnel was very professional and caring. Room service was great. It's the perfect place for business related stays.

My flight got in late so I didn't arrive to the hotel until 1am, and I so appreciate that there was someone waiting for me at the front desk at that late hour. The room was a phenomenal price, the AC was so amazing, bed was comfy, room was spacious with plenty of shelving/closet space too. The location was perfect-- super easy to walk to the Colonial Zone, and not too far from the airport either. Staff was very friendly & helpful! Muchas gracias!

I felt very welcome and save with having the host Juan around. He was very helpful. I like all the flowers and plants in the guesthouse. It made it look so cosy.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were super kind and friendly. The location was perfect with quick access to the colonial zone and city center. Picturesque and full of live.

everything I needed to relax between two flights. just steps from the beach and minutes from supermarket, lots of stores and restaurants around. room was perfectly clean, bed comfortable, very quiet at night though in the middle of everything. staff extremely nice and helpful! also organised airport shuttle for me for great value. highly recommended!!!

The villa is super, verry clean, quiet, close to the sea, about 200m, the host is always there to help you, inside you have air conditioner, tv satellite, private bathroom, every two days the sheets is changing, very clean an cozy. Full of restaurants in 100 meters. Top location. 10+

This small family-run place is just steps away from the beach, restaurants, bars etc. It's not luxury but has everything I needed and is great value. The people running it are lovely. And the security is top-notch.

The property is very nice, clean, & safe. It is conveniently located near restaurants & shops, which is a wonderful plus! The beach is super close as well. We truly had a lovely & peaceful stay! Additionally the owner is very kind & helpful!

Location is great, we walked to all the old city attractions in Zona Colonial. Francky, the owner is extremely friendly and makes you feel at home! He explains all you need to know from a place to exchange money to restaurants and supermarket, and I got to practice my French along with my Spanish. The instructions about the code to the front door and the room were clear, and he was there when we arrived, took us to our room and explained all. Room was big and clean, as well as the toilet. The air con was great and the air con light can be turned off so you can sleep better at night. We decided to have breakfast there and it was ok, had fresh fruit, juice, coffee, bread and eggs. There's water on the room but all mornings before we left we would ask for a bottle each to take with us while sightseeing. I will definitively stay there if I return to Santo Domingo

Really loved our stay at La Aldea. The location is just a couple of blocks from both the Malecon and the pedestrian precinct leading to the cathedral and the fortaleza, so it's perfect. It is also very quiet and peaceful at night. Entry to the front door and the rooms are by key code, which is super convenient. Rooms are very confortable, spotlessly clean and the bed was great, as was the shower. A/C worked great, quietly and the light could be turned off for a peaceful sleep along with good curtains so it was dark. Best of all was our fabulous host Frankie, who was super welcoming, friendly and a great source of excellent recommendations for places to eat and visit. He kept us up to date on what was going on in town, so we were able to see Carnival, which was awesome!

A friend and I stayed here for one night before leaving santo domingo for samana. The staff and their communication was perfect. Franky was so responsive on whatsapp and extremely helpful in navigating money exchange, recommendations for areas to explore, directions, and coordinating a taxi for us. Our flight arrived pretty late in the night and Franky was there to great us when we arrived (around 1:30AM) without any issues - we just had to communicate with them ahead of time. Would definitely stay here again and for a longer period of time in the future.

The owner Frank made himself available anytime with advice and recommendations. Bonisa at the front was warm, welcoming and helpful. The staff made us feel at home. Our room was clean and comfortable. We especially enjoyed walking out the door with access to amazing historical sites, restaurants, shopping, and a neighborhood bar on almost every corner. While there may be more exclusive hotels I would not trade our experience, our first night in Zona Colonial was euphoric.

Acommodation at Franky was great! You’re close to almost everything for sightseeing by foot. The owner and his wife were very friendly and helpful about all the information (public transport, place for a meal etc.) He also has a kitchen/gathering area where you can always have a drink and hang out. We really liked and appreciated it. I highly recommend this place :)

this property was perfect for the amount of time we needed to stay and specially for the distance to the main bus terminal in the area. would stay there again, but parking should be advised that the property can hold 2 vehicles , and the time is controlled due to businesses. but would definitely stay there again and again and again.

Every time I come to the Dominican Republic i stay here. I have no complaints about this place. Staff and owner of property are very pleasant people. Very accommodating when I needed something. Also in the same property there's a barbershop downstairs that is very good. Overall this is my second home when I go to the Dominican Republic.
