We loved everything! Everything from our suite with a private infinity pool, to the swim up bar where we enjoyed drinks, snacks and conversation with new friends, to the wonderful dinner in the patio with the ruins in the distance. Excellent, friendly staff. If in Agrigento, you must stay here!

Views were stunning, overlooking Temple of Juno and coastline. Fantastic breakfast. Wonderful, professional service. Lovely pool area and swim up bar. Dinner was excellent and again great service. Very atmospheric setting.

The rooms were very comfy and the added benefit of a private pool overlooking the Agrigento monuments was stunning. The main area was very nice as well and the staff were always there to help. The Spa services were another highlight. We only stayed 1 night but wished we were there for a full week.

Very luxurious and well appointed room with a private pool. The view from the property of the Temples at the Valley of the Temples was amazing. Great country hotel with excellent facilities and efficient and friendly staff. Salvatore in the restaurant is to be commended for his attentive service.

We are a couple who initially booked a two-night stay in a double room with a balcony. To our delight, we were upgraded to the suite upon arrival. The room was absolutely exceptional—immaculately clean, tastefully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. Inspired by the experience, we inquired about extending our stay for an additional night. Although the hotel was fully booked, I reached out directly to express our interest. To our surprise and great joy, the hotel promptly responded and confirmed availability of the suite for one more night. The process was seamless and handled with genuine hospitality. Truly outstanding service. Breakfast was a highlight each morning. The buffet offered a superb selection, including scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, a variety of Italian breads and delicacies, mini pancakes, Belgian waffles, cheeses, cold cuts, jams served in charming glass jars, and muesli accompanied by several types of yogurt. On certain mornings, a chilled bottle of Prosecco was also available, adding a luxurious touch. Coffee was served upon request by the attentive and friendly staff, who were consistently present and accommodating throughout breakfast. Their warmth and professionalism greatly enhanced our experience. We can’t wait to return—this stay exceeded all expectations!

The property is newly updated. The room was beautiful, very well designed. Great bathroom. Very comfortable bed. All the latest first class amenities. Very clean. My balconies looked out onto the square allowing you to really feel immersed in the beauty of Palermo, without the noise you’d expect from such a public space. The staff couldn’t be more personable or helpful. Although I don’t speak Italian they made me feel right at home. The breakfast was plentiful. Offered more than what you could eat. The food was all fresh, inviting and well laid displayed. The hotel is located in the perfect spot to enjoy the best of Palermo by foot. First class. Highly recommend.

The hotel is located at the very heart of Palermo city center. Within 10 minutes walking distance you can reach all the important monuments. The rooms are recently renovated and the bathroom is just excellent. The breakfast is very rich in a cosy restaurant at the ground floor. All these are easy to figure out from the map and by studying all the photos and info included in the various reviews. What might be harder to spot is the staff of the hotel that places heart and soul to make your stay truly memorable. I felt as if they already knew all my habits - always anticipating my needs. This took me completely by surprise.

Palazzo Cartari is a wonderful place. It was a joy to stay there. Perhaps most notably, the staff is friendly, welcoming, helpful, and a pleasure to interact with. They all speak excellent English. The location is perfect for visiting the historic center of Palermo. My room was stylish, comfortable, quiet, and beautifully equipped. The breakfast was varied and excellent. There are lots of restaurants close by, and the hotel is within easy walking distance to the Ballarò Market for a wonderful lunch of Palermo's famous street foods. If you want to be close to the historic center when visiting Palermo and its innumerable interests. I can't imagine a better place.

The breakfast was perfect for us, usually we were grabbing a quick bite and coffee before our tours that we had planned for the day. Buffett style and coffee made to order to your liking. Anastasia, who was the first person we encountered while checking in, was so helpful with anything we needed during our entire stay. We even changed our plans mid week and decided to rent a car, she called and set everything up for us, no matter what we asked, she took care of everything. This helps a lot to make the stay even more pleasant.

Wonderful hotel. Quiet location. Free parking in front of the hotel - easy to park the car. The staff at the reception very kind. All areas of the hotel are very clean. The room had a generous terrace, on the top floor, with folding beds on which to rest in the sun. The bottle of mineral water in the room is free. Breakfast, even if it was repeated every day (we stayed for 5 days), was varied and good: cheeses, salami and ham, boiled eggs, the famous Italian tarts and cannoli, besides other brioches, pastry, fruits, etc. The food at dinner was very good (we really liked the fritura di gamberi e calamari, the beef steak, caponatina) accompanied of course, by the special Italian-Sicilian wines. They have also an excellent local beer. A special mention for the head of the restaurant and his young team, very friendly, attentive to the guests, professional - we thank them very much for making pleasent our stay.

The hotel has a real, free, parking. The room was very spacious, never had such a big room. I guess 5x7meters. The bed was very big too. There also was a big couch, with much space around. A small desk with TV and minibar completed the equipment. The view though the windows wasn't really special, not good, but not bad either. The breakfast buffet: as there were not that many customers, the buffet was a bit limited. The first morning we were asked if we wanted eggs, the second morning one didn't ask. We were also asked what kind of coffee we'd like to get. A second cup, one had to ask. There were also fruit juices and fresh fruits, alongside many kinds of cake. The neighborhood wasn't special, nothing to see/to do; +/- 3km away from the centre of Modica. No traffic noise in the room.

Dit hotel heeft een eigen parking, gratis. De kamer was heel erg groot, nog nooit zo'n grote kamer gehad. Schatting 5x7 meter. Een erg groot bed, heel comfortabel, extra kussens om te lezen bvb. Grote zetel in de kamer, alsook een klein bureau. Het uitzicht uit het raam was niet bijzonder, maar ook niet lelijk. Het ontbijtbuffet: er waren niet heel veel klanten. Daardoor was het buffet een beetje beperkt, maar de 1ste dag kwam men vragen of we eieren wilden; de 2de dag niet. Betere koffie dan uit een thermos kregen we vanzelf, maar een 2de kopje moesten we zelf vragen, en kregen we dan ook. Er was ook wel vers fruit. De omgeving van het hotel is een buitenwijk waar niet veel te beleven is. Te voet naar het oude centrum van Modica zou wel ver zijn, 3-tal km.

Sia che vogliate visitare Modica e zone limitrofe, sia che vogliate fare del mare (a 15-20 minuti la bellissima spiaggia di Sampieri), sia che vogliate (come noi) mescolare le due cose, il Torre del Sud è una scelta perfetta. Le stanze sono spaziose e pulite, dotate di piccolo frigo, cassaforte, phon, tv led, armadio, aria condizionata, chiave elettronica, 4 di esse hanno un balcone vivibile. C'è il doppio ascensore, parcheggio all'aperto e parcheggio al chiuso (quest'ultimo con leggero sovrapprezzo giornaliero), ristorante che (in caso si godesse solo di letto e colazione) si può prenotare la mattina per la sera scegliendo un primo ed un secondo tra 2 proposte. Reception aperta 24h/24h, giornali in area comune, wifi in tutto l'albergo, caramelline di ogni gusto, il famosissimo cioccolato di Modica, piccoli particolari che lo rendono un ottimo albergo.

This is just such an amazing place! The service, the quality, the hospitality and pretty much everything else at such a level! The breakfast is superb with lots of fresh cakes and a nice selection. Comfortable and and spacious rooms. There's no point in looking for restaurants in the area when you have the chance to be pampered by staff who are present and courteous but never intrusive. Dinners we had were the best we had on our 9 day trip in Sicily. The staff (both Antonio's and the dining staff) is the best you can find in an accommodation facility and we thank them for the kindness and courtesy that distinguished them over the three days we stayed there!structure in excellent condition. As an American, would highly recommend staying at this hotel.

The hotel is great, and really grew on us. The inside of the rooms are lovely (we had a suite), the view is nice and the breakfast is really fantastic. We had a problem with our first room but the staff helpfully found us another and helped us to move. Lots of really nice touches by the staff (ie Halloween treats for the kids, a cake for us for our anniversary). There are some areas around the pool and by the sea which could do with tidying up but it may be that we were there towards the end of the season, and it didn't really take away from the hotel. To be aware if going later in the year the sun disappears from the pool just after lunch so plan your day accordingly (the pool is on the chilly side). Location is great - access to the sea from the hotel (really clear), few minutes walk to cable car, but also restaurants nearby, few mins walk to a sandy/pebbly beach (we actually preferred this to Isola Belle, which is also only a few minutes further walk away). Check in could be improved - we had to wait quite a while for our room (which then ontop of that had to be changed) and the offer of a drink or snack for the kids could have gone a long way.

The location is top notch with beautiful views of the sea. You can use the pool and deck by the ocean but you can also use the chairs and beach at the sister property which is a two minute walk. My favorite part of the hotel was the breakfast. Our server was wonderful and the food offerings were amazing. The room is nice and the balcony had a nice view. It was wonderful to jump into the ocean from the pool deck. The staff were very attentive and quickly brought towels and food as needed. Fresh bottled water and turndown service was offered every evening. I much preferred staying by the water and going up in to town for the day during the extra hot summer. Getting into town was easy via the lift. The town felt crowded but we did not feel crowded during our stay at Atlantis bay.

We absolutely loved or stay at this hotel! We had a really bad travel day to Sicily and the staff was super welcoming & even upgraded our room which was such a nice little pick me up. The suite was incredible and we had an amazing view of the bay & pool area. Room service & food options were top tier. We could easily walk to access the cable car to take us to the top of Taormina where all the liveliness is. The grounds & pool area were also so amazing as well as the service! We would absolutely stay here again when we come back to Italy!

Everything. The views, the pool, the restaurant, the pool bar, the staff - everything was outstanding!

Nestled in the ntimate cove of Mazzaro Bay, this hotel had the perfect location. Our suite was spacious with a beautiful view of the bay. The plunge pool was very private, and welcoming after a warm day on the beach or by the pool. The service was a little slow at times Also the bathroom was not five star due to some mould in the corners of the bath area. However, the suite was kept spotless twice a day.

The hotel is in a perfect location – on the water with gorgeous beach views and pretty much across the street from the cable car up to Taormina. We were upgraded to a suite upon our arrival, which was so nice of the staff, but I do have to say, however, that I was kind of shocked at the state of the "Suite" (which is usually around 800-900 euros a night!) It was so old and all the furniture was so shabby and worn. Honestly, it looked like the room hadn't been updated since the 80's. And the outdoor private pool was a cool feature, but also super beat up and cracking and worn. Given that, luckily everything was relatively clean and tidy. We absolutely recommend this hotel based on location and the hotel pool is fabulous with super comfy pool beds and nice stretch of beach and pretty good breakfast (with champagne!), but think twice about booking a suite here. If you're used to staying in truly 5-star hotels, you will be disappointed and probably a bit angry to pay that much for what you get. Also, some of the staff were incredibly nice and helpful (Alex the concierge, for example), but some of the wait staff at breakfast could be a bit cold and severe. We ordered room service the night we arrived and it was pretty good (cheeseburger, pizza, salad), but definitely check out the two little delis/groceries across the street from the hotel. Delicious, fresh sandwiches and drinks for 5 euro!

Hotel is in a fabulous location, with absolutely gorgeous views of the Mazzaro beach area - simply picturesque and ultimate wow factor. Located conveniently to the cable car (3 minute walk at most) to Taormina old town, the hotel is a true delight for accessibility. The staff were fantastic and as a solo traveller I was very well looked after ensuring my safety and comfort! Special mention to Franco and Giovanni at the beach and pool who were amazing. Also kudos to the restaurant staff who looked after me when I missed the buffet breakfast thanks to my phone not updating the time! The rooms are as depicted and lovely, with fabulous, although the bathrooms are a little dated (small shower over bath) but absolutely adequate. Pool and beach are the absolute highlight and I enjoyed 4 nights relaxing here over looking a gorgeous view! Only minor point to mention were the floors at the start were a bit dirty upon arrival, but that was very quickly resolved upon notification which was great!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Massaro Beach Palace. We stayed for a week with 2 small kids The rooms are spacious and very clean The food is amazing and the beach is superb All the staff from housekeeping to waitstaff to check in to pool staff are amazing very helpful friendly and nothing is too much Spacial thanks to Franko and Giovanni and the pool and the ladies from housekeeping!! Will be back 100%

The service is exceptional from concierge, the restaurant, pool/beach, etc. Service in all these areas couldn’t have been better. However we got a sea view suite with a pool and there was so much throughout the night from the train. I had highlighted my concern the first evening when I heard it before dinner and then again the following day. By the time they offered a new room in the same category our trip would’ve been 60% complete and pack everything up. Lot of money to spend for that room category and hear a train (very loud) throughout the night and impact your sleep. The layout was awkward where you walked into the bedroom and then living room after. Highly suggest asking if you will hear the train throughout the night before booking. I was told it would end by 10pm which wasn’t true.

Sunset hotel was amazing. The location is incredible. We had a room with a private pool and it was perfect.

Beautifully designed hotel, from the lobby to the room and of course the pool. Breakfast was super and the staff was very kind and helpful The pool was the cherry on top with tanning bad and an outside bar for snakes and drinks

The staff was very friendly and helped me book a cab for a very early morning departure to the train station. The hotel is a short walk from several beach clubs where you can rent chairs for around 20 Euros for the day. It's around a 20 minute walk to Old Town. The best part is the view from the rooftop pool of Old Town and La Rocca and as the name suggests, the sunsets from the hotel are beautiful. Comfortable rooms, plenty of communal space to enjoy drinks and watch the sunset and the pool area is great.

The Sunset is an excellent modern hotel situated on the seafront about 10 minutes walk from the town centre. Our room was comfortable and well-equipped with a nice balcony overlooking the sea, and there are several lounge areas, both indoors and outdoors. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were really good, with hot food being cooked to order rather than being kept warm on a bauffet - definately a plus point. The rooftop pool is stunning, with two infinity edges, and the tiing is coloured to match the sea, which almost makes you feel like the water extends into the sea. Just a few minor negatives: 1. There are 12 steps up to the entrance, with no lift or ramp. 2. Although we couldn't fault the cleanlines, there were a few minor maintenance issues, such as water damage to the wall adjacent top the shower. 3. There is a nightclub close to the hotel, with loud music playing until 3am. Fortunately it was only on Friday and Saturday and our room was well soundproofed. However, overall, staying at the Sunset Hotel was a great experience and we would certainly return there again

Location great, lovely walk along the promenade to old town. Balcony with sea view and sunset view. Rooftop pool and sun beds. Excellent Spa if you wish to use, personally not my thing. Lift that was always working. Breakfast was good, warm food available on request. The owner was always around checking that everything was ok. Staff were so obliging and helpful, to name a few, Federico, Miriam, Giuseppe, both ladies on reception and the lady chef that cooked the omelettes, her name escapes me. The pianist on an evening was very good and created a relaxed atmosphere in the bar area. Hotel was 5 minute from supermarket and other shops and restaurant’s outside of the old town. Train station a 10-12 min walk from the hotel. Would recommend for 4 or 5 night stay.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mangia Brucoli and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive (specially Lucia from Reception), ensuring that every need was met with a smile. The rooms were immaculate, modern, amazing private pool, great amenities. Is located in a great and big soace with great access to the sea and several sports availabe!! Great experience we will came back

Wonderful hotel. The pool and view are magnificent with very kind pool service, service at the pool bar (hostesses and hosts and cocktail masters), good food at the pool bar and lime bar. The morning buffet is very extensive and fresh. The donna floriana restaurant has kind service and good food. The pizzeria provides very decent pizzas but was moderately managed, as was the grill restaurant. The sushi bar has lovely sushi, with superb cocktails and very kind service. Price quality top.

This is a wonderful resort. Built on a hillside overlooking South over the Ionian Sea, the resort has three pools, tennis courts and a gym. It is well positioned for excursions to Etna, Catania, Syracusa. We had suites in an L shape. The seating area as you entered and along the long part of the L, the bathroom area followed by the bedroom. Each part had a partition door. There was a semi private patio with chairs and a table. We found many exquisite walks and a lovely secret cove down to the sea. Be careful. Rocks can be slippery and there are sea anenomes, so you may to protect feet. There is a really broad selection of food options. Upscale and the more mundane. We tried the sushi restaurant and Meditterea. Both had good food and excellent service. The main pool is big and warm. Very relaxing. There are separate pools for the younger kids with a couple of slides and one exclusively for adults. All in, we enjoyed it and can't wait to return. The staff were very attentive. There are slopes throughout the property but not difficult to negotiate for most. More challenging if you have a mobility issue. Very picturesque and lovely views.

Great room with its own pool. Both the pool and room very clean. Very nice staff that did the cleaning. Gardens were beautiful. The location of the property is amazing - by the sea in the middle of nowhere. You MUST have a car otherwise you are stuck at the hotel. Huge breakfast buffet that serves until 11am 😎 The beach is rocky not sand. Three pools with lots of sunloungers + sunloungers by the rocky beach. Several restaurants and great little beach kaftan shop.

The hotel site is beautiful surround by trees and amazing flowers, lots of birds as a result - including scops owls. Food superb - a change of dishes every night, pool amazing with Mount Etna in the background, rooms so comfortable but the staff were the cherry on top - Gabriele at front desk, Lorenzo, Victoria and Anastasia and Sebastian at the pool so helpful and kind.

I had the most amazing stay and couldn't fault a thing! The food and wine selection is one of the best I've had in the restaurant and absolutely loved the surrounded gardens and swimming pool. The service at the bar and restaurant was just superb. I wished I could stay longer and enjoy so much more of this unique stay. I would recommend renting a car if you are staying at the hotel as it is set in a remote location with Taormino centre being a 10-15min drive. The grounds and swimming pool was kept clean and although the pool was heated we still enjoyed it. I would definitely be coming back here to celebrate a special occasion and on the weekend we were there, there was a beautiful wedding taking place which made me want to be married here in the near future! :)

The restaurant which we ate at two nights was a surprise ,Michelin star food, cleverly and tastefully each course was delicious. Wine list was full of beautiful Sicilian wines and a showstopper was having a very special cocktail made right at our table. I have had the good fortune from working so hard my life to stay at many four and five star hotels around the world and this will not disappoint . Our room was so comfortable, tastefully decorated & beautiful I didn’t want to leave the room . The beach was just steps away, and we swam in the beautiful Ionian Sea , the hotel is a destination, (we did go winetasting during the day at Benanti an excellent tour and tasting) hotel definitely worth a stay if you need to relax and want to be pampered -oh, and the swimming pool was magnificent along with serving cocktails and food poolside.

My family and i just returned from a fabulous 10 day break. This small boutique hotel was charming, picturesque and enchanting, as the property is steeped with history. The service was fantastic, the staff were attentive and really made our stay even more extraordinary. Flavia, at reception made sure we were very looked after and ensured all our reservations outside the hotel were booked. The pool area was wonderful as was the private beach. The level; of service by the pool staff , CLaudio and Carlo made the experience even more memorable. I highly recommend a stay here, and one that you will thoroughly enjoy.

Spectacular, historic property on a storied perch overlooking the Mediterranean with views of Mt Etna from some locations. This is a fairly large hotel (110 rooms). We were upgraded on arrival to a room with a terrace and plunge pool - it was a little too chilly to use in late April- but provided a nice view back-dropped by the Sea. The service was helpful and responsive, but did not feel as personalized as many of the non-chain historic properties we have enjoyed in Italy. Beautiful location, beautiful gardens, lovely casual restaurant high above the Sea (the Anciovi). Anyone a fan of Season 2 of White Lotus will enjoy comparing the actual hotel to scenes from the series, much of which was filmed in additional properties around Sicily rather than specifically at the hotel as you might assume. The hotel is an oasis of calm and beauty. Taormina itself is, like Capri and other Italian charmers, on the verge of being overwhelmed by tourism. Even in late April walking the main Corso was jostling arm-to-arm almost all day long.

The hotel experience was so romantic - spectacular bougainvillea and jasmine abundantly on the terraces and in the loggia where the pianist serenades every evening. The location is superb, overlooking the sea and mount Etna. The rooms overlooking the sea are glorious, elegantly decorated and bathrooms endlessly filled with Molton Brown supplies. Breakfast takes up an entire room and contains every possible choice except that greater variety of fresh fruit should be available - only prepared pineapple, oranges and melon were served and the same daily for the whole week. The pool is lovley and long and teh pool bar staff very helpful. Pool only open from 9am which seems very late for early swimmers, but the hotel made a helpful concession for us to swim from 8am.

This is a stunningly beautiful hotel. And everyone who works there is super-professional. The food and beverages are superb. Unfortunately, the overall experience was dragged down for me by the fact that the outdoor pool was too cold. Looking at the expressions of the others who entered the pool on the two days that I did, I was not the only one who thought so. I had looked forward to just lounging in the pool before going back to winter in Northern Europe, but it was not to be. But otherwise, the hotel was excellent.

Staying at The Four Seasons is a next level experience from the attentive service of the staff to the cleanliness of the rooms and amazing food and design throughout the hotel. The property itself is unlike any other I’ve been to. They transformed a historic landmark in a quieter area of Taormina into a beautiful escape, with perfectly manicured courtyard gardens and expertly decorated ballrooms. You could spend hours just walking around the property and enjoying the peace and tranquillity. The property is just a minute or two walk away from the excitement of the city, unlike other luxury hotels in the area, the four seasons is away from any super tourist heavy areas. The staff went above and beyond and helping us reserve restaurant reservations and transportation. We will definitely be returning. Last thing, the pool is one of the best I have ever been to.

Have travelled extensively for both work and pleasure - this is the best hotel we have stayed in, anywhere in the world. The staff are absolutely exceptional- professional, consistent and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble and everything is done to the highest standard. A special mention to Denise who was a very special host. The hotel itself is remarkable. Historic and painstakingly restored- the perfect balance between old and new. Some parts of the hotel feel like you are in a museum. The court yard next to reception is charming and a place we really enjoyed having an evening drink in after the stunning pool and before dinner. We also thought the food at Massimo Manttaro’s restaurant was the best we ate at in Sicily (far better than up the road at the Belmond). An exceptional stay in every respect, words don’t do it justice.

It is significantly more than a hotel, it is a very large resort, with a completely private beach, a very large swimming pool next to the beach (warning: that swimming pool is not heated, so it was quite cold in May), a Spa complex with a very nice and long indoor (heated) swimming pool, and several also very nice and large spa baths outside (these ones with warm water). The Spa reservation system ensures there are only a few guests at any time, no large crowd, and children aren't authorized in the Spa complex unless the weather is bad. The restaurants were excellent, I particularly recommend to have lunch next to the large outdoor pool, but the other two restaurants and the breakfast are excellent. Very nice room, loved the large private terrace. Everything was top notch. We had a small issue with our shower (rain shower stuck), and it was fixed very promptly. All the staff was super nice. We didn't play golf, but you can use one of the freely available bikes to cycle around the golf course, which is very nice (it is a private complex, so no external car).

We stayed at this property in September and we had a very nice stay. The room was nice and facing the sea. Modern and clean, just the bathroom needs some more decoration. Staff was very friendly all over the property. Breakfast was great. Also pools very nice and a lot of sunbeds and two big swimming pools plus more pools and jacuzzi at the spa. Unfortunately grassed areas quite burnt and also the golf courses not really in very good condition. It is a nice property but for over 1000 € per night the prices are too high, and for these prices they even charge an extra service charge per room per night, which is not great

Verdura Hotel Resort is an outstanding place to stay. We stayed for 4 nights and would have loved to stay longer. The positive aspects were the friendly staff, a huge pool and a good private beach. We loved the gym, it was equipped with spin bikes, fitness machines and weights. The spa pools with their different temperatures were very enjoyable and one of them had powerful water jets. Being a golf facility the gardens and grounds are very well kept - neither my husband nor I play golf but we had liked the look of the huge area and the sense of space and privacy that the location seemed to offer. The reality did not disappoint, it is a breath-takingly beautiful position and well maintained. There are bicycles available to use, these are provided complimentary by the resort and we used them daily. We tried a few of the restaurants on site, all were good and service was excellent. However, one negative was the arrangement at breakfast time, it is a small area where the food is presented buffet-style and people were bumping into each other along a narrow space. My omelette was raw in the middle and another diner was also complaining about this, the egg chef did seem to be extremely busy trying to deal with so many orders, perhaps a second chef to help him, perhaps a second stove is needed. Many dishes on the buffet tables were empty and replenishments did not seem to happen efficiently. Lastly, the bedroom wardrobe area is very dark we were forced to use our phone torches!

We visited as a family at June end in 2025 and found the resort to be a wonderful vacation location. Particularly noteworthy and much enjoyed: the gym and spa (steam, sauna) with great treatments, the padel courts, excellent round on the beautiful and challenging East Links golf course and the Executive 9 hole course, and superb and large swimming pool. We loved the idea of just picking up a cycle and cycling around the resort. What a great idea! A few suggestions for improvement - 1. Please open a small convenience store where people can buy small products, snacks and magazines etc. This was not there. We needed playing cards and none available! 2. Consider having a shuttle to Sciacca which would be welcome to explore local town, although we did use a taxi which was fine. 3. A few pool tables or table tennis would have been a nice addition - plenty of spaces for this in main hotel. I am sure there would be room. Every single member of staff was friendly, helpful and thoughtful. What a great vacation and we will definitely be returning! Thank you to the whole team.

This place is amazing! Beautiful surroundings, clean, spacious and well appointed rooms, and a good choice of restaurants. Our favourite restaurant was Ostoria. Great food with varied menu choices. Marco, Gaetano and Sara looked after us really well. The view of the sunset from your table is stunning. The pool is clean and spacious and the pool team were really helpful. Every member of staff we came across was excellent, thank you. 🙏🏻

Fantastic service views and breakfast. Everything exceeded expectations. We were offered an upgrade to a room with private pool but we preferred an ocean view and they accommodated us. The beach was better than anything else in the area and the pool was a pleasure to swim in. The outdoor sitting areas had spectacular views

We had a lovely villa with private pool which had ample space and amenities. It felt more like a small house than a hotel room. The service all over the resort was exceptional, staff were very friendly and aimed to make your stay enjoyable. The two ocean swimming areas were fantastic. Breakfast was also delightful and diverse. The only critique would be to have a more diverse dinner menu.

Our check in was very easy and everything was explained to us about the hotel and also going into Syracusa, where to park etc. Our room was very good, good size, bathroom products and bed was comfortable. The breakfast was very good, as was the coffee and selection of food at breakfast. The rocks were great and we spent a few days sunbaking there and jumping off the rocks. The pool was also very good and a nice warm temperature. While the location of the hotel is not in central Syracusa, we had a hire car and its an easy 15 min drive there and its actually a bigger city thank you think. We dined at Schiticchio Pizzeria and recommend it. The street it is based on and surrounded area seemed to have a good selection of restaurants. You can order room service / food to beach / pool / rocks via whatsapp which was easy. I was very impressed that I went to see reception the day before we left as we needed help with our bags for an early check out at 600am and there was someone ready at 600am at our room to assist. Only disappointing this was that in room coffee / team was not included which I feel when you are paying over 500 euros per night it should be. They also only provide a bottle of water on your first night, again, they should include this based on the price. Would highly recommend this hotel.

That's what I said to my wife as we were sunning ourselves by the pool. This is a luxury resort. The rooms are in cottages scattered around the site, a short walk from the pool, beach & five-star restaurant. Rich marble & wood interiors. Fabulous breakfast. And for no more than a B&B! Initially, we were disappointed that it is 15 minutes from town, but it was wonderful to be able to leave the crowded streets behind and retreat to the Minareto. It's not easy to find, so get directions on the web or use a GPS.

Our room, the Junior Suite, was lovely. The breakfast coffee was excellent. The pool was clean, warm and long enough to swim in. The lady in the pool bar was very friendly and Spanish (our Spanish is better than our Italian). It is just over a kilometer from from some lovely beaches.

Beautiful rural hotel built around an old courtyard with an old well at the centre, where you have your breakfast and restaurant meal. The breakfast is excellent with a wide choice of everything from fresh pastries and cakes, breads, fresh fruit, freshly squeezed orange juice. Pool area and the gardens are very well maintained with beautiful olive and lemon trees, lavender, gaura. The hotel's app suggested a number of local beaches to visit and they were were all lovely, quiet and sandy - and you can take an umbrella to the beach for shade. Staff are excellent. Good location to drive to Noto and Ortigia such beautiful historical towns and the beautiful fishing village of Marzamemi.

This is one of the most magnificent places we’ve ever stayed at. The building itself has been beautifully restored creating authentic comfortable rooms with gorgeous design features. The gardens and pool area are a wonderful place to spend time relaxing and the staff can’t do enough for you. We ate dinner at Manna and it was a stand out meal for our holiday in Sicily.

Siamo stati una notte in questa meravigliosa struttura nella junior suite con la mini piscina a disposizione (non utilizzata però). Struttura bellissima curata nei minimi particolari. In camera c'era tutto compreso ciabatte ed accappatoi. Pulizia 10 e lode. Colazione da gran hotel a buffet, qualsiasi cosa tu voglia c'è !!!! Mio figlio di quasi 5 anni se n'è andato quasi con le lacrime. Grazie a Gianni e tutto lo staff per la splendida accoglienza, torneremo sicuro. Unica pecca? 2gg di brutto tempo, ma sono sicuro che si attrezzeranno anche per questo... :-)

Quite a few mixed feelings here - the building itself is beautiful, wonderfully positioned to have a stunning view of Taormina and Giardini Naxos, and close to the main street, the ancient theatre and the public park (worth checking out!). However, the hotel needs more investment to really take advantage of those strengths. Not all rooms are refurbished, so you may end up with one with malfunctioning aircon and noisy pipework; we asked to swap from one of these because it was just too noisy for us to sleep and the staff were helpful in making that happen. The new room was more modern with a lovely balcony, refurbished bathroom and digital aircon display (allowing you to set the temperature, unlike the old room) but you can see the speedy work they did. The shower was leaking, part of the door frame was held together with staples (yes!) and there was an overall need to love this hotel more. The rooftop breakfast was excellent and offered amazing views, but as a bar it felt lacking. It could be fabulous with just a bit more investment. The arrangement they have with Nuova Spiaggia Paradiso is nice and provides quite a peaceful environment, but you are made aware you’re not as valuable clients as others who pay at the venue - you don’t have access to the pool, and you receive the cheaper and smaller sunbeds. The food is outrageously priced even for Taormina though.

My husband & I decided to stay at this hotel during our visit to Taormina, Sicily. This beautiful property sits right in the center of Taormina making it perfect to get around the town super easily. Downtown or City center is only a 3-5 minute walk from the hotel which makes dinning & shopping so convenient. One thing we loved about staying here was that the hospitality of the owners and staff is unmatchable. Our room was on the first floor facing the garden view that overlooks the Ionian & Mediterranean Sea. As you step out the property and look to your left, you also have the scenic view of Mount Etna. From sunrise, sunset, to the moon & stars, the location is perfect to get a glimpse of it all. We absolutely loved staying here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for accommodation while in Taormina. This place is not just a hotel, it has become a place we can now call home. Thank you Raffaela, Andrea, and the entire staff at “Hotel Villa Paradiso” for the wonderful experience. Can’t wait back to return back to our home away from home.

My wife and I stayed in the Hotel Villa Paradisio for 4 nights and had a wonderful stay. We had junior suite with a balcony and a great view of Mount Etna and the sea. the hotel is high up and the view is great! I also liked the extra size in the room because we were on an extended trip and were able to easily store our luggage and clothes etc. The feel of the room is that you are in classic Italy. The breakfast buffet was excellent with great expresso drinks made to order- all with an incredible view. Perhaps the greatest feature of the hotel is the staff who really took care of us - including making local reservations, making sure our car arrived on time, having recommendations on what to see around Taormina. Giuseppe and the staff in the breakfast area were a delight. I felt like we were staying with family in Italy - that's how great the staff was.

We absolutely loved our stay here. We stayed in 5 different hotels over our 3 weeks in Italy and this was by far our favorite. The location in Taormina is excellent- walkable to everything and right next to the beautiful park. The staff was so lovely and helpful. They gave us great dinner recs and were there to answer questions whenever needed and responded to any needs quickly. If you have a car, definitely take advantage of the valet parking. Our room had an incredible view! The bed was super comfy and our daughter had a little nook with a twin bed that was perfect for her. The room was extra clean, linens and pillows super comfy and the AC was very strong. Breakfast in the mornings was great but the real standout was the Appirtivo time in the evening. Delicious drinks and great small snacks, overlooking the gorgeous view.

Exceptional property! Stunning facility and top-notch service without feeling awkwardly "over-serviced". The location is remote so it's best to have a car if you're planning on exploring. We really enjoyed the Poolside restaurant for dinner and ate there 3 times during our stay. The food was amazing and the entire dining service crew really made the experience absolutely delightful. They were professional, personable, and fun. Kept us coming back for more. It's hard to describe how beautiful the pool and property is. Sometimes you see beautiful photos on the website and are then disappointed but here, the reality was actually even better than the pictures!

Located in the countryside close to Noto, this beautiful estate caters for travelers who like a high-end experience in a low key place. A modern design, but no over the top, this place fits perfectly in the surroundings. The two pools are amazing and offer a tranquil vibe. The rooms are spacious and well designed. Everything is well taken care of and looks pristine. The restaurant offers great food and staff are welcoming and kind.

The Hotel facilities were superb, rooms large and spacious, the pools were a great size and the staff and service that they provided was probably the best that we have ever received. The hotel is well located near to Noto, a great town to visit with excellent sights and restaurants, and other towns of great interest to visit.

Very good staff, very good facilities, very quiet place. I like the private pool and sauna. The service is very personalised. You can enjoy your stay and everything without concerning privacy.

The property is as amazing as it looks in the photos. It really has a wow factor. The grounds, pools, room, bathroom are stunning and very well kept. There are only 4 rooms on site which means it’s quiet and you often get the pool to yourself. The pool is child friendly with stairs and a shallow end. For breakfast you get to order the day b4 exactly what you’d like, which is great, so no waste. The English-speaking staff member Kumar was brilliant, welcoming, friendly, and flexible offering to start work early on our last day to give us breakfast. They normally serve breakfast at 8:30pm.

What an incredible experience we had at Divina Charme. The staff are so lovely, thoughtful and helpful. The property itself is an incredible piece of design project. You can see that every little detail counts for the owner and done to a high quality standard. The rooms are spacious, clean and bed super comfy. Outdoor area including pool is of perfect size for the amount of rooms. Breakfast is also of good quality standard and coffee machine is available throughout the day. Property is also situated in a quite street which makes the property super quite. We will definitely return when around Catania.

Nice, brand new villa with a small indoor and outdoor pool and sauna. Very relaxing after a visit to Etna. Very friendly and helpful staff. As we had to leave very early in the morning for the flight, they even made sandwiches for us to take away. You can even park your car in front of the villa without any parking fee.

It’s the third time I’ve stayed there in the last four years or maybe more. This has to be the best time and I’m talking about the finer details all falling into place. My room wasn’t so much as the room it was more villa outside pool more of a plunge pool, but perfect for a couple of people. Incredible views of the vineyards a decent view of Mount Aetna, but most of all it’s the individuals that I see each time I’m there the food is amazing the selection of wine very impressive and overall if you want to go and hide away in the midst of organic wine production it is a very peaceful place to go. You can find nightlife there. There’s a wonderful bar and they make the most incredible the negroni - another bar situated in front of the swimming pool which quite frankly if you’re up early enough it is one of the greatest sunrises I’ve ever seen. It has a notoriously good sunrise person speaking. I don’t want the fuss and the high-end pampering that that isn’t genuine that you can find in other high-end establishments as far as I’m concerned though the setting the people the architect the simplicity and yet five star throughout you can’t go wrong one visit will bring you back enjoy yourselves I have tremendously - Max is not gonna spell spellcheck this or read it back again cause that way you know it’s definitely not ChatGPT ha ha

We arrived around 8PM straight off a set of flights from SFO and were exhausted. We were welcomed into the bar, a beautiful, cozy room, given food and drink, and checked in there, since reception had closed. We ended up spending a couple hours chatting with another couple, the place promotes making friends. Throughout our stay the food was terrific, breakfast on the lawn above the pool was amazing, including eggs from the farm's own chickens. The service was very friendly. Antonio offered us a tour of the wine cellar, which is actually built into an ancient well and not to be missed. Gabriela, the bartender, made a very good negroni and stayed to chat, as staff often do here. The property is spread out over many acres of vineyards and over 100 fruit trees. Our building was the furthest from the central building and restaurant so it was very quiet. They provide a golf cart to get you around on the very rough and often unpaved roads of the estate but it is a bit hair-raising as the roads are bumpy and the staff drive very fast. We ended up just driving our own car around, which was slightly better, given the narrow, bumpy roads. We got lost repeatedly, but that was part of the fun as we always eventually got to the place we were going. Highly recommend this place for anyone who loves beauty, great food, and terrific people.

This place is absolutely stunning! From the setting, underneath Mount Etna, to the place itself which is immersed in vineyards and olive trees! The staff is very professional and ready to meet any of our needs. The food was great and all produced at Monaci. The villa we stayed was beautiful with amazing views, an infinity pool, very private and with a very original feature, it was built around some volcanic rock! And if that wasn’t enough, I was amazed to learn that Stanley Tucci, the actor I adore, stayed in the same villa!!! I highly recommend this place for an unforgettable experience.

The location of Monaci is simply stunning. The villas are spread out providing space and tranquility. The grassy pool area with the stunning vista is so special. Finally the food is amazing as is the restaurant space, and we were lucky enough to have a private cooking class with the head chef and guided tour through the gardens / cellar. We look forward to returning in the future.

The location is amazing, on the skirts of Mt. Etna, and all the facilities, from the pool to the restaurant in the old building are amazing. We were attended to in the friendliest way by the entire staff, including a private traditional Sicilian pasta making lesson; they were all great. The view is amazing, the food was outstanding, overall an unforgettable experience in all senses.

The quiet, peaceful, relaxing atmosphere around this resort. All you hear are the numerous birds in the trees of this estate hotel. The amenities are excellant : spa , pool , dining.....hotel rooms are adorable with equisite furnishings. Don Eusebio restaurant was a 5-Star experience - most home grown veg , fruit, eggs, black pork - the chef is extraordinary..!! Desserts are to die for...Lunch by the pool & breakfast are fantastic. Adorable local staff with extraordinary qualities to make clients feel at home.

Besutifully restored ancient Benedictine monastery. with functional antique furnishings. About 15 minutes drive from the towns of Ragusa and Modica. A rural retreat. expansive grounds with beautifully maintained grounds including gardens and pool. The dining room/ restaurant is a beautiful space and the food exceptional!

Beautifully restored buildings with high quality finishes and furnishings. The old mansion house is set in a quiet location surrounded by peaceful farmlands. The gardens and pool are picturesque. The Arabic fountain courtyard adds to the atmosphere. Staff were attentive and helpful and breakfast and restaurant food were excellent. Thank you!

The 12th century monastery was gorgeous. There were beautiful stone courtyards on the property and the pool and gardens were well cared for and inviting. Our room had an old charm meaning it gave one the feeling of stepping back in time. The dark panelled woodwork created a cool, quiet, well preserved interior. Our front desk welcome by Fabio was so kind and personable. The property is worth visiting. When the spa is finished and if cooking classes resume, those will be additional reasons to make this quiet property part of your itenary.

We were in the airstrip cottages. Cute and quiet. Easy walk or ride to the main building. Estate is absolutely beautiful. The breakfast was buffet and extensive. We did a 4 wine and 2 oil tasting our last evening paired with food. No need for dinner that night. Also had 2 dinners in “the crypt”. Menu is lovely. We got a flat tire along our journey and staff recommended shop 10 minutes away. We pulled up with the spare tire on and in 15 minutes we were back on our way with a repaired tire for 15 Euros. Couldn’t believe it.
