Hotel was clean and modern. Staff was very attentive and friendly. Preferred club was worth it for my wife and I. From the bell boys to maids to servers, service was remarkable. Abel and Fernando were our main pool servers at the preferred club pool and they were awesome. Highly recommend the hotel.

Staff is wonderful polite and helpful. Accommodations perfect clean and fashionable, comfortable everything refilled daily. Food choices beyond wonderful and chef choices at all restaurants. PoolArea a littleNoisy loud music, decided to go to adult pool music was not as loud .

Quiet relaxing resort off the beaten path close to airport. The staff goes out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. We did tip but we felt it was not like they expected it. Staff really appreciated the tips and one of our waiters was SO appreciative and made our night by saying ‘God bless you’. There are no bracelets. The beach is walkable for miles each way and quiet. We saw dolphins daily but you have to watch for them. There are no beach activities like parasailing or jet skis. All rooms are ocean view. We did preferred club which is ocean front. Preferred club has separate pool area & bar but is quiet -no music. There is also a preferred lounge. We also got 2 rounds of free golf with 4 nights preferred booking. The golf course is amazing! At least 6 holes right on the ocean and is in beautiful shape. The club house overlooks the ocean also. We paid $50 for new PXG clubs plus they gave us a free drink. They pick you up at the hotel with golf cart & take you there. We thought the food options were all good. Nice coffee shop. No reservations required at restaurants which was SO nice. Rooms are big and nicely decorated with many amenities. We really enjoyed our stay & would return. We didn’t go to Stone Island but it’s a $30 taxi there and heard it was fun and authentic Mexico experience.

The property was gorgeous. Ocean was very cold and water was rough, so we didn’t do much but play in the sand. The pool was great. Perfect for kids. It was heated, so even when it was chilly, you could swim all day. There was a large area that was about 2 feet deep, so our 4 year old could play and we didn’t have to worry too much. The food was pretty good too. I was surprised by how much I liked all the seafood.

We stayed for 14 days and it was wonderful. Very quiet until the week of Thanksgiving, then it was so busy. Fatima in housekeeping was fantastic every day. Joel in entertainment was funny and kind. And a special shout out to Oscar who was in my opinion one of the hardest working servers around the pool!! He was awesome! Thanks for the amazing memories Dreams!

The rooms and restaurant were both terrific. We needed a hotel for a night in Los Mochis due to Volaris cancelling our flight and Fenix hotel served us well.

Great hotel right in the middle of town. Very clean with great beds staff and on site restaurant. Main plaza a short walk away for family entertainment.

Second time staying at Hotel Fenix, it was amazing again. We asked for a 1st floor room and they accommodated. Breakfast is also amazing here.

We had 3 nights in Los Mochis after our ferry trip from La Paz. It’s an interesting country town and the BW Plus was a great choice. It’s very well positioned close to the town centre, gardens, church and town square which has food carts and lots of night activity. The hotel is very welcoming and the rooms are spacious. We spent some time around the pool which is in a nice private courtyard. It’s the place to stay in Los Mochis

We stayed at the BW Los Mochis during our attendance at a conference. The hotel is modern, clean a nicely appointed. The front desk staff could be a bit friendlier, but they were helpful and efficient. The bell staff were friendly and helpful. The bar was well stocked and the wait staff friendly, but there was smoking in the bar so we spent minimal time there. The restaurant was good and the service was very good. The rooms were roomy, clean and nicely furnished. The bed was comfortable. The free high speed internet worked well and the smart TV was a nice touch.

We have stayed here 3-4 times over the last year or so and always enjoy our stay. Friendly reception, very comfortable room, convenient to shops, services, and outside restaurants. We often eat in their restaurant because it's easy after a long day on the road and have never had a bad dinner or breakfast. Although I can manage in Spanish, most of the staff speaks better English than my Spanish and we have never had a problem with communication.

The place is located right in the middle of the old town, a few blocks from the best restaurants in town. Very few guest early May, so we enjoyed the pool in the beautiful courtyard by ourselves. Our suite was nice, basic, but lacked a bit of sunlight and the bathroom was small and outdated. We had a tour of the facility, some suites are very spacious. The staff was very kind and pleasant. We were told it's packed in the winter and in the summer, which would make a very different experience.

The property is extremely well appointed, comfortable and quiet. It was extremely hot during our stay and the pool was a welcome addition. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. The property is an easy walk to the malecon and beach front and very close to some excellent restaurants.

It was nice and quiet, close walking distance from the Malecón. The pool is beautiful. Very clean, very nice staff. They let us stay a little longer after check out so we could wait for our flight which was late at night.

Was looking for a nice culture look place to stay in el centro. This place was amazing. Love the architecture, the greenery, the views and the pool. 100 percent recommended. Would definitely come back.

My husband and I like this hotel very much, it looks like it's been renovated, very clean, personal nice and helpful. We ate at El Chaparral good food is next to the hotel, there is a sushi restaurant, downtown is about 10 minutes the airport about 15 minutes. We would stay there again.

The staff especially the cleaning staff were really nice. It is in a shipping plaza so it is very convenient. It is also close to the downtown(Centro) area so that is a plus and not far from Forum or Nightlife.

The receptionist is always very helpful and the hotel is always in great shape! Housekeeping comes by every morning and leaves room looking new every morning! I travel to Culiacan multiple times a year and always stay here!

I really liked my stay at Hotel Lucerna. Overall it was a very pleasant trip and the hotel was very nice. Unfortunately, the pool was not open due to it being the off season. At 93 degrees being our hottest day there, I thought swimming would be a part of out activities there, but the pool was "closed". The water was dirty and unkempt. The pool was one of the main reasons I chose this hotel, but this is considered off-season for this area. Housekeeping left a lot to be desired. Room was a bit dusty when I first checked-in, but improved with subsequent days of stay. Staff was incredibly friendly and professional. room service was quick, friendly and tasty. Fitness room was very nice, but water dispenser was not working. I would definitely stay here again if I come back to Culiacan.

Very nice hotel in the central part of Culiacan. Situated by the river Tamazula. Walking distance from a market streets and right next to a mall. There is an OXXO near by should you need some small snack/drink Now here are the + and - things + Windows open rather there is a balcony door and fresh air is welcome. + free and good internet + it is clean + Rooms are big + The side facing the pool and river are amazing, especially at sunset + There is a pool (also a fitness) + There is a door that lets you out and in directly at the river bay which is really handy when you want to walk to the city across the river or the mall. + Free parking + Friendly staff + Love the furniture - the black marble top on the cabinet and desk looks amazing. • User unfriendly operation of the elevators - suggestion to the staff change the reading card mechanism to only put the card beside not insert. • Strange feeling when you enter and in front of you is the sink :D - Could be a bit noisy in the evening regardless of which side of the hotel you are if you leave your balcony door open. - The closet room is not big enough is you decide for example to remove all 10 extra pillows from your bed - There is not shower cabin but it is a bathtub - for me that is a minus. At the hotel staff when renovating consider removing the bathtub altogether.

This was my husbands and mine second stay. The customer service both times have been great. The staff go above and beyond to accommodate your needs. The hotel is right in the center of Culiacan so you are walking distance from a lot of things like the mall, the movies, restaurants, etc. The pool area is nice and relaxing and there's a bridge you can cross or just look over to the park that's pretty neat. The bar is was very chill too. And again the bartenders were super nice and helpful. There are also taxis right outside if you need transportation anywhere and all the drivers were really nice. The hotels restaurants are both really good! Last year we went they were remodeling and they did a good job with the upgraded decor. The restaurants got remodeled too and the food is still delicious. Great service, clean, accommodating, comfortable and in the middle of everything. I highly recommend this place!

I had a great stay at this hotel. For me warm welcome friendly smiles. English was not a problem. Since my Spanish was poor.. Always able to find a helping hand with a question.. Enjoyed the dining, the bar was great watch the football games... The pool was lovely but did not get a chance to swim but others enjoyed it... The walkway outback was open and inviting with many activities to do... Are even the mall was just a small walk away. Plenty of dining in the area... Putting joy the house tells restaurant most of all.

Just returned from 2 days and nights at lucerna...very convenient to restaurants and other activities...we enjoyed the hotel, very clean, plenty of space in the rooms, very clean, great bed and pillows. Had dinner last night at their in house restaurant ....very nice, wonderful service and fantastic tacos dorados. Being Easter weekend, thought it was a good time to see culiacan. Very quiet.....nice pool area...jacuzzi needs a little cleaning...if I needed to arrive in culiacan for any reason..Lucerna is my pick.

I booked this hotel for a girls trip and we all loved it! We arrived a few hours earlier than our check in and they allowed us to check in our bags while we went to eat and check out Mazatlán. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is very beautiful, the views from the pool are amazing as it’s located right in front of the ocean on the malecón. They have a bar by the pool and one in the lobby as well. The rooms were spacious only complaint would be the floors didn’t seem to have been swept upon arrival. The water pressure for shower head was great along with temperature. Overall I would definitely recommend and would love to stay here again.

I like the view from the pool however it was dirty there was trash and beer cans, also it would be nice if there was some shade at the pool. The bartender was not so attentive either he looked like u was bothering him. Also i would of liked for a bell hop to be able to take my uber eats order to my room they dont allow them to even step foot inside having me go outside to get it. Everything else was good our room was cleaned if we wanted to daily the housekeeper was super nice. Also the location is ideal.

We were greeted with a quick check in. Our room was exactly what we expected. Clean and fresh. They have a variety of tasty options. We were at their restaurant at 7:30am and were one of the first ones there so we avoided the crowd/line to eat. The pool was nice and clean with a great view to the malecón and the sunsets were amazing. Would definitely stay there again in the future. Staff was very friendly and helped with any questions we had. Lovely hotel, across the malecón, close to many restaurants.

The beds were large and very comfortable, and the sea view was fantastic. Each room has a small balcony where you can sit and enjoy the view. Everything matched the description — no exaggerated marketing. The food at the rooftop restaurant was good, and we were even allowed to use the pool after checkout, which was a nice bonus. The WiFi was strong, and most restaurants, beaches and coffee places are within walking distance, except for the historical city center.

the staff was amazing, the room was clean, and the view from the pool couldn't be any better, i recommend this hotel if you want to be in the middle of the party because it is right in front of the malecon, it was very convenient and close to everything i would like it to have food included but they do have a nice restaurant and the breakfast buffet is to die for 5 starts

The last months I have spent around ten nights in this hotel, so I know very well the hotel. First of all I have to say that the service is very good, all the staff is friendly are attentive!. The rate is very reasonable, more if you take into account that the breakfast is included, the breakfast is simple, however is very complete, slices of fruit, bread, coffee, milk, butter, marmalade, ham, vegetables, bakery, cheese, tea!, the restaurant is very small but is ok for accommodate all clients. The location is perfect, is in front of the main road, near to so many shopping centers, and is to less than twenty minutes from the port to take the ferry. The rooms are very nice, everything seems new, the overall experience is very positive!, no doubt I will return again and again!, and of course the hotel is fully recommended!.

I used the hotel since I needed a one night stay before heading to the airport in the morning. It was fantastic. Clean and well staffed, it was a great experience. The breakfast was good and there's fresh coffee available all day. The surrounding area has lots of dining options with in a couple of blocks and shopping too. The center of Mochis is about 15 minutes away, the airport about 30 minutes away. I would def stay here again.

This place is new, lots of fake birch appointments, a little pricier than we generally go to and darn nice. Very european, reminded us of an Ibis, only much larger and better set out. Great breakfast, shopping mall with restaurants across the street and good parking. The next comment is rather personal, but without GPS we would NEVER have found it. So, if you are GPS equipped, fill your boots it is well worth it.

City Express in Los Mochis is a little more deluxe than the normal chain of CE's. Breakfast healthful, with more options. WIFI was slow and sporadic, but that's my only queja about this stay. Location made for a good city walk for those who like to stretch after a day's drive -- and the fitness room had good equipment to help get the next day off to a good start.

We had to wait a day to get into our resort so I randomly booked at Raices Del Mar and hoped for the best! It was just what we needed/wanted. The experience on Plaza Muchado was incredible! We didn’t know we were in such a cool place. It’s historic yet has all the modern conveniences you need. The soaking pool was small but very refreshing! The restaurant was amazing. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The decor was fabulous and we Found something new every time we passed through! I am traveling with my adult children and we all found something to enjoy. If you want to experience downtown Mazatlan at its best, stay here! If you can’t handle late night noise(they provide earplugs) then don’t stay here. The partying does go into the night but was not a problem for us!

This hotel was beautiful! I love how decor was. Let allowed us to check in way earlier then the actual check in time which was amazing. We did get the room with the small pool right outside so there was alot of noise because family with their kids were swimming and making noise even around night time. The restaurant in the hotel had very good food was really nice but i did not like the service. They took a while to attend us and I had to remind them that we were waiting and there was only one table with a family and us. It took about 40 minutes to get our food but thankfully the food was good.

Property is very clean. Breakfast is fresh and delicious, coffee is strong and always freshly made. Personal is very accommodating and polity. They have good internet conection with smart tv. The pool is small but beautiful and very calming with amazing sculptures There is plenty of restaurants and coffee shops around. The malecon with a lot of people around is beautiful and is very inspiring to see everyone exercising and enjoying the natural beauty and amazing views

Lovely historic property right on historic district square with restaurants and shopping live music and events nightly Staff was wonderful and helpful and friendly. Close to center of everything in historic area a few blocks to large market and close to square with historic church short taxy to other areas and sights. Room simple comfortable and clean AC was new and worked perfect. Nice swim spa small pool..

My stay at Hotel Raíces de Mar completely met my expectations for a boutique hotel right in the Plazuela Machada. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was perfect! The small soaking pool was refreshing and I enjoyed exploring el Centro from the doorstep.

We stayed as a family of 5 with another family of 5 from Canada. The resort is lovely, smaller, mostly Mexican guests (a good sign in our books) food tasted great and was mostly mexican dishes, the snack bar had N. American fast food and great tacos. Pools were heated, enough loungers, service around the pool was great, we had the same server all week except the last day and then the service was a bit meh. Most staff speak a little bit of english, some none, but management is fluent and happy to help. We have celiacs in the family and no one got sick. The resort is geared more to little kids, they have a fun kiddie pool/structure, the teens who didn't love lounging by the pool were a bit bored, they lived. Staff did games during the day, there was entertainment on friday and saturday. We would stay again.

Pros: It is in front of a nice beach. The staff was very friendly. The hotel had many fun activities for kids and adults. I love the adults only pool. The hotel offers fun planned excursions at good prices. We walked on the beach to eat seafood and coconuts. Cons: The pool open until 9:00 am (I wish you could swim earlier). And you have to wake up grab a seat by the pool early because it gets too crowded and later you won't find any place to lay down by the pool or the beach.

I like everything about the property the only thing I'm little disapointed is with the staff around the pool,snacks area I stayed 4 days and the first day I was having a drink by the pool and asked to one of the staff guys for a menu he brought one menu to me and left and never came back to ask if we needed something,it wast untill my last day of stay when I was drinking by the beach and I had a group of music playing some songs for me that's when finaly someone from staff came to check and ask what I was drinking and if I needed something,I feel like that's profilng just because they see you young or some they don't like to serve you,meanwhile in the restaurant area avery time we came to eat we had someone asking what are we drinking and checking on us,people in restaurant 10/10,front desk staff 10/10 Btw I stayed all inclusive

Our experience at Viagio Resort was excellent. The restaurant and pool side waiters were very attentive, gracious and kind. The activities coordinator had lots of fun activities planned for the pool area. The ocean view rooms have a beautiful view. The location to the beach was wonderful and the resort is close to many restaurants and a Fresh Market Grocery store. I highly recommend this resort. My husband and i will definitely stay here again.

This was our second stay at this hotel and we love it. Just a few steps from the beach and the pool area is so much fun. Staff and the pool waiters are great they treat us, the national tourist with respect and kindness. Good vibes, clean hotel, lots of security around the property, everything is great in beautiful Mazatlán.

My wife and I spent a glorious week in a condo at Estrella Del Mar. The condo was luxurious and offered spectacular beach and pool views, along with beautiful sunset views. Both the beach and the pool were absolutely beautiful and not crowded. There is a trophy golf course on the premises as well, and we thoroughly enjoyed our two rounds of golf we played. The course is challenging, visually beautiful, and well maintained. We ate at both of the restaurants on the premises and had great meals at both. The service was excellent and the help staff were all very polite and helpful. This is a special place and we will be back.

My stay at Las Villas Hotel & Golf by Estrella del Mar was absolutely incredible! Despite missing VIP services, free meals, and coffee in the room, none of that overshadowed the amazing experience I had. From the moment I arrived, the staff greeted me with warmth and made me feel like a VIP guest. Their genuine kindness created a welcoming atmosphere. The hotel grounds were a slice of paradise, with lush greenery and a serene atmosphere that melted away all my worries. The rooms were heavenly—spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, providing a perfect sanctuary for relaxation. And the view! Oh my goodness, the view of the vast ocean was breathtaking. The amenities were top-notch, and the pool area became my favorite spot to unwind and soak up the sun. The on-site restaurant blew me away with its culinary delights, each dish a work of art bursting with flavors. Despite the missing amenities, the overall experience exceeded my expectations. Las Villas Hotel & Golf holds a special place in my heart, and I can't wait to return and create more incredible memories.

The room was big and comfy, the premises were wonderful. Very nice staff and very nice beach and pool area. Prices were descent, and affordable, not cheap but not expensive. Th only downfall is the food is good not great, and let it be known they have a lot of bugs, not the hotel but the overall area. Found ants in my room and a beetle, but the area is very lush so not too much different from Hawaii in that sense. The internet was down when we went, that was a bummer, but if you are looking for a secluded very chill place with beautiful scenery, this is the spot.

I stayed in the two bedroom condo #402 overlooking the ocean which was absolutely spectacular. it is owned by Lance and Jeremy and they were absolutely awesome anything we needed they would get for us the condo has been remodeled it is absolutely beautiful . If you are looking to get away for a week I would highly recommend this beautiful resort which has golf, tennis ocean 🌊 pool and spectacular sunsets 🌅

This hotel is great if you want to stay and hang out. It is closer to the airport than the town. There is one restaurant at the villas. The pool is huge and was warm. The spa needs to be warmer. Great staff. Would stay again.

I stayed for the first time but really hope it will not be my last This is a new hotel, fresh stylish and everything you need for a comfortable stay The bed was probably the best bed I have had Ina hotel and as I stay every weekend in a hotel for work I can speak as an expert The room was large, great air conditioning which you need here and the bathroom spacious and clean Internet is free and a good speed as I even ok to stream tv shows The front desk and restaurant staff were very professional and polite and attended to everything quickly. I was grateful the chef prepared my food exactly as I like The hotel is not in the centre but this is a plus as it's very quiet and a short ride and you can be quickly in the centre I love that the manager has a strong hands approach and she greets guest on both arrival and departure and you can see this through the quality of her team If you stay anywhere else on your visit to Culiacan you are missing the best here !

I have visited Culiacan for business at least once a year for the last 10+ years, and this is by far the best hotel I stayed in. A great quality for your money, with spacious, clean rooms, tasteful art pieces on the walls, great/fast Internet connection, free wi-fi, complementary buffet breakfast, shuttle from the airport, and best of all the excellent service. From hotel management to front desk, restaurant, and cleaning staff, the attention to detail, politeness, and professionalism they offered us (a group of 4) was unparalleled and beyond expectations, from the reservation date to well after our stay.

Esta excelente la calidad del hotel, precio y comodidad. Habitaciones limpias, amplias y con el suficiente espacio para ordenar tus cosas. El único detalle que sentí que se podría mejorar es el area de la regadera, debido que con el extractor del aire se movía la cortina que está y era bastante incómodo, de ahí en fuera está todo excelente y el desayuno delicioso. Sin duda alguna me hospedaré de nuevo

El lugar es limpio y muy bueno, tienen area de oportunidad de mejorar el servicio del restaurante, es tardado el servicio, pero en aspectos de limpieza y atención es bueno, las habitaciones son amplias y muy buen espacio, la otra área para mejorar es el servicio de los canales.

The property is a five star facility, everything is as it should, very attentive staff, very accommodating and professional. The breakfast time window allows for everyone to have breakfast without having to rush into the dinning hall. The food served is fresh and very tasty including drinks and dessert.

I really enjoyed hotel IBIS. The location is convenient to banks, Walmart (last minute snacks and travel stuff I forgot), and there’s a great restaurant that shares a parking lot (LOLA 55). The room was small but very clean—perfect for a few nights before boarding El Chepe. The hotel Is modern with a small bar/restaurant inside. The staff was super friendly and Daniella went out of her way to help us (she called another hotel to see if we could use their pool for the day since it was so hot, and she explained how local Uber’s cancel unless you choose cash option). Overall, I liked this hotel and would definitely stay here again if I ever found myself in Los Mochis!

We were travelling from Vancouver, BC to Guadalajara by car and just needed a clean room to stop for the night. The Ibis offered a great rate, easy check-in, and onsite lighted parking with a patrolling guard. As others have noted, the rooms are small but every inch is thoughtfully planned for maximum storage, which we needed for our 6 months' worth of luggage and paraphernalia. The room reminded me of a cruise shop cabin (we've been in a few). The shower was the best: hot water and lots of it from a rainfall shower head. We stayed on a weekend and there were lots of families there for social events. There was activity in the hallway but not much noise. The bed was comfortable enough to get a good night's sleep. Check-out was relatively late, noon or 1PM, which we appreciated. We will be on the lookout for other Ibis properties as we make our way through Mexico.

Overnight stay at the Ibis after arriving on the Chepe train. Shared taxi from the train station was 50 pesos. 15 minute ride. There's quite a few decent food options very close to the hotel, plus a number of shops and a huge Walmart. All in all it's a pleasant enough area to spend an evening in. The hotel was perfect for my needs. Clean and comfortable. No frills, but great price. Super-fast wifi. The bar and restaurant area is ideal, and there were enough other people around to give it an atmosphere. The shower was fantastic, but you need to watch because it is so powerful it leaks water into the bathroom if on full blast! If you're spending the night in transit, as I was, you won't find better.

We stayed at this hotel after taking the ferry from La Paz in Baja. The best part of the hotel was the staff. Everyone was super helpful and considerate. We came with our car and when a superior spot in the parking lot opened up (covered and hidden from street view) reception let us know since they knew we'd be parked for several days. There is also a night time guard in the lot for extra security. The lobby is well designed: modern yet comfortable, lively yet not distracting or loud, and the wifi was strong. Also, this hotel may have the best hotel shower I've ever experience. I wish we were staying longer!

I would call an Ibis - modern and minimalist. Reception staff were friendly, we found the rooms to be clean and comfortable, but if you are looking for luxury this wouldn't be the place, of course you wouldn't be paying the very reasonable price either. The only downside (and I'm not sure how common an occurance this is, but there was some type of concert in the vicinity and loud music played into the early morning hours and could be heard in our room (albeit muffled). Not much for in hotel dining but there were a few restaurants in the vicinity.

We enjoyed our time at the resort. The location is steps from the ocean and is very family-friendly. All of the staff were friendly and their customer service was amazing. We want to give a special thank you to Jairo and Carmen who took care of us in the buffet restaurant each day for breakfast. This was my boyfriend and I's first experience with an all inclusive resort and everything was beyond our expectations. Beautiful resort, large spacious room with a kitchenette, ocean views, good food, and great service. Also there is a sister resort of theirs that is close to downtown so you can take their free shuttle to go into town! We especially loved our experience at the restaurant the Cordliere. We went there every morning for breakfast and Dario and Adrian were honestly two of the best servers we've ever had.... super personable, excellent service, and we looked forward to having breakfast there every day!

Wasn't sure about going to a 2 star hotel, but very close to a wedding venue we were attending. Found it very clean and the staff friendly. Didn't need a nice restaurant or bar or pool so it was perfect for us. The breakfast was adequate, and the total price was great.

Very modern hotel. We wished there had been a pool, since it was so hot during our stay. Sometimes the air conditioning didn't seem to work well, but it could have just been that we are used to a cooler temperature. Security was a presence that made us feel safer. Overall a good place to stay in Mexico.

Our room was clean all the time, the personnel is kind and always ready to help. The room wasn't too spacious but for 3 people was enough. The hotel has a nice location because in 10 mins you can get to the airport and in 3mins to the bus station and just 5 mins and we get a huge mall called "Forum". The only thing I didn't like was the breakfast, it needs variety that's why we used to go the restaurants nearby But, it was a nice experience, of course I'll be back again.

The staff are eager to help. The Hotel is very close to the airport and the central bus station. La Panamá restaurant well known chain in Sinaloa is within walking distance. The rooms are adequate and have all the amenities you need for a quick business trip. I have used this Hotel many times and I always have had a great experience. Overall it is a great place to stay if you are doing business in town and using the airport and or the central bus station.

We stayed here because we came from Los Mochis and had to leave early in the morning to the airport. We had dinner at a near by Shopping mall and everything is near but not close to downtown. Overall the hotel is a goodnighter and nothing else than that. I give this a three star cause of the bed and you can hear everything in and outside the rooms. If your looking for a nice and all around good hotel in Culiacan stay at Lucerna hotel.

We had a turn around trip and this hotel was very convenient as it was close to the airport. The hotel was clean and inexpensive. They offer breakfast for a fair price. The employees are extremely friendly. The only thing is the beds are small, more like a full size bed.

Very convenient hotel close to the airport. Rooms are clean; and beds and pillows very soft and comfortable. Nice view from my room. I like that the soap is in a dispenser (better than those little one use disposable bottles that end up floating in the ocean).

Ibis is the best hotel we’ve stayed at in Culiacán. Very clean and hospitable. Staff is great including manager Natanael helped us with every need. I would personally recommend La exquisiteria next door for great food and drinks. They really made everyone feel right at home.

I only spent one night there, but the hotel looked pretty clean and it was very convenient for us to reach the airport early in the morning. There was plenty of parking available for free and overall i had no complaints.

Our stay was short but I was very impressed with all the staff’s politeness and willingness to assist with whatever need we had. I will definitely stay again and recommend this hotel to friends and family!

We stay here every time we're in Mazatlan. This year the pool area has been demolished and a new sea wall and pool are being quickly built. The adjacent property north of the Palms has a small pool for use while construction is under way. The restaurant does a huge business now - prices are reasonable too. Rooms are as they always are - utilitarian, clean, and the wifi is good. Air conditioning is marginal, thermostats only allow for slight cooling. Coming from the frozen north I like a cool room to sleep in.

First time my family and I stayed here and we liked it very much, it is a clean place, attentive staff, friendly and respectful, we also liked the pool area and the access to the beach, the only bad thing was the bad weather that we had in the days we were there, but I would definitely stay in this hotel again.

My stay was great. Only one area that could be better was that when we were at the pool we had to go and find someone to order drinks and food. I know first world problems but we really just wanted to tip your waiters and talk to them. The rooms were spotless and the grounds were well kept.

We have stayed in this hotel twice an we always have the best experience. I just didn’t like that the pool was being remodeled an we couldn’t enjoy it as we liked too

Our room was very clean, had a nice balcony and a big shower. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. It is pet friendly with a charge of 350 pesos for his stay. They had a convenient grass area for the dogs right outside the lobby. The property was right on the beach, it had a small beach bar with very friendly staff. The gym was great and you could order food on the pool deck. The pool was nice and clean.

The hotel was nice and clean. The only thing was the pool was warmer than the hot tub. We sneaked into the an adjacent resort to use the pool and hot tub which was much better.

The hotel is right on the water (7 floors) with most rooms having a view and balcony. Rooms are decent sized and clean with comfortable beds. Our balcony was quite nice with a view of the water. The pool is good sized. The menu at the restaurant wasn't large, but the food was good. Service was excellent at every level. I have to congratulate the manager, because great service doesn't happen accidentally. The hotel had a lot of families and couples and didn't seem party central, which we appreciated. On a Friday night, it was reasonably quiet by 10. There is a conveniently located area for pets to relieve themselves. The policy is a bit unclear on how you are to wash sand off your pets after walking on the beach though.

We spent a week at the hotel and it was a pleasant surprise. All of the rooms have an ocean view. We were given a room close to the beach and we could hear the waves at all times. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff are kind and eager to serve, especially Enrique in the dining room. Our room rate, which was very reasonable, also came with a daily breakfast buffet - this was a pleasant surprise. The buffet was first class with a large variety of dishes. The pool area has lots of seats and lounge chairs. The beach access is right off the patio. It was just an all around pleasant experience for us and I can strongly recommend the hotel.

The building is much better when you see it in person. The staff is super friendly and the service is above of what you can ever expect. The restaurant has a good quantity of options and also they have buffet on weekends. Highly recommend the room with frontal ocean view (other rooms have good view too). The pool, The bar and Jacuzzi are excellent for the price. The beach access is very accesible, you can have beach walkings every morning/afternoon. Is going to be hard to find anything better for this price.

The facility itself was new and clean. Big clean, great room with ocean view. Great pool area, dj on pool areas was fun, pool area servers, and bartenders were great. Welcoming staff and great customer service from the valet to the lobby and overall everyone was nice and helpful. House keeping was great as well, aways on top of making sure we were happy. They have a Starbucks in the lobby for those Starbuck drinkers, walking distance to liquor store, bars, clubs, restaurants, exchange money.

everything was very clean. The view was incredible and pools where very nice and the beach view was incredible. Also the food we got when we were at the pool was very good and the breakfast was the best breakfast I had ever had at a hotel it wasn’t a cheap breakfast you normally get they had a variety of breakfast option chilaquiles, chicken with bell peppers and cream , steak fajitas, squash with cheese, scrambled egg, scrambled egg with chorizo, salads , fruits, sweat bread hot chocolate Quaker Oats about 3 different fresh drinks green juice orange juice and I think pineapple also Coffe. Best hotel experience ever and staff are very friendly as well.

The property was nice but there was mold everywhere above the bed in the shower around the bathroom vanity I would have preferred to have been able to get the ocean view because the street view was very loud from 8pm to 4am I was able to get some sleep after 4 am it was quite it I did like the pool area it was a beautiful view in the pool side

First of all the staff were very helpful and helped with recommendations to restaurants and tourists sights. The pool was great as was the pool food and drink service. I would highly recommend the Doubletree hotel

Our room was an ocean view on 15th floor. The bed was a king size luxury with great pillows! The room had blackening blinds and we slept beautifully! The room was cleaned every day and in good repair. The bathroom was starting to show a little age but was very clean. The staff was very good to us- even brought tables outside for us when we asked. Location is great- lots of restaurants, bus stop and Ubers plentiful if needed. The pool wasn’t heated but not uncommon- so a little too cold to swim in January. The Hilton welcome cookie is amazing!! We would definitely stay here again-our 4th time to Matzalan but first stay here.

It's a great 2 star hotel. My room is always clean. Good WiFi except for the pool area. No kitchenette but I can always wait until 8:00am for the restaurant to open for my morning coffee, or walk 80 metres to Loony Beans (a must on Monday's). My room has A/C but I couldn't figure out how the controls worked (I would turn it off and 15 minutes later it would turn itself on!). It didn't stop me sleeping though. The restaurant is nice but meal selection is limited (mainly burger type in the evening), but the omelette in the morning is superb. The restaurant is closed Monday's. The staff are wonderful. the concierge is superb, always has a smile and a welcoming greeting. The atrium is open and there is always an evening chorus from the birds that live in the trees that grow within the atrium. A band plays western music Friday's and Saturday's (7:00pm to 10:00pm). They don't mind me locking my bike in the atrium when I'm not out and about on it. The pool was cold but that didn't stop me from a refresher dip every day. Even though it's January, the temp was in the high 20c's, so the pool was very welcoming (though I think I was the only person using it). There are numerous restaurants and cafes in walking distance and there is a lively arts scene (bands, operas, art shows, etc).

Pros: Great location, clean rooms, accomodating staff, nice doormen/security, good value. Cons: Too noisy to leave side or ocean facing windows/balcony doors open in eve (bldg a/c wasn't working so this became an issue) Side balconies have easy access to each other, & no in-room safe, so not secure to leave window open when you're out. The pool is small, & in close/full view of restaurant diners. Awkward set-up, didn't see anybody use. Wifi worked first 1.5 days, then was patchy at best after that. Would I stay again? Not if I wanted a pool, but probably otherwise depending on which room.

We really liked the front staff super friendly great customer service...the surroundings are perfect for a walk...the only thing we didn't like this time...was the pool the lady that takes you out so rid she said they do maintenance at night but at the next day pool still was dirty...and the hour they closed it i think its to early.

Very nice place!! I miss it already, great food, happy hour, pool and beach is right there. I didn’t even want to leave resort. I wish I could have stayed longer. Our room had air condition and a refrigerator. It was spacious! Staff were all wonderful!!

Love the proximity to everything the bar restaurant pool the common area with the birds was amazing and the security guard Ramon was the most amazing help with anything or question we had can’t say enough about his level of knowledge about any question we had..

They have nice people wtih great customer service and always smiling at their guests. The room is nice and clean. It is pretty quiet which is good. The breakfast is good too. I love it. I would totally come back here. This hotel is not recomend it if you have children. There's no pool here but their installation are clean..

Everything was fantastic , Reasonable price ,Great protected parking ,super buffet breakfast, very clean and maintained property. For parking and checking in use the Fresh Maeket Tres Isla parking One Mazatlan has some designated parking spots next to the hotel elevator which you can take to the L lobby for check in then once you get the key card the guestrooms are secure and you have to tap it to use the elevator past the lobby.Good security. Access to the beach is right across the street and down a small road on the north of side a diiferent hotel ..

We have stayed at this property before and make it a must when we drive down from Canada. The staff are great and friendly and go out of their way to help. We had to make a quick change of plans and extend our stay as a tropical storm had come into the coast. The staff here were more than accommodating and made us feel very well taken care of. We also had our dog with us who enjoyed saying hello to all her new amigos!!

I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Ibis Mazatlan Marina. Maria Jose and Lorena were very helpful during my whole stay. They assisted me in answering questions I had about the city, places to eat and places to see. The front desk staff Jorge and Letty were also helpful and attentive. Overall the staff was awesome and my experience was great at this hotel. I look forward to stay again at this property.

We loved the staff. All were so very polite and professional. We also ran into a problem with a flat tire. The staff were quick to help with calling for a shop to repair the tire as well as helped with translation. Can’t say enough about the great staff. Rooms were extremely clean although small were adequate and homey. Bathroom was modern and clean. Great stay.
