Fantastic location and great ambience, fantastic wine form the owner and having the swimming pool an added bonus. Great views of the valley from the pool and good for walking. Went prepared for a three day stay so throughly enjoyed our stay.

The apartment is nice and modern, with all facilities. Ours had a large balcony with a great view of the hills around (and of the pool to which we didn't have access). The host was friendly and welcoming and the location very convenient, five minutes from the motorway. An excellent choice altogether.

Easy to find, beautiful views. Nice pool if you book the ground floor room. Is perfect for a silent weekend with family and friends.

Some hiking trails starts from the doorsteps. Four bikes are provided by the owner and we used this possibility to go to Italy to the lakes. Definitely want to stay again at this wonderful place! From start to finish this stay was incredible. The owners are lovely and we were greeted with a meat and cheese platter which was a lovely touch. The property has everything that’s needed. Even down to having bikes to use. Any question asked they replied or were there instantly to help us. The views from the house I will remember for the rest of my life. If you are contemplating whether to spend the extra money to go in the house with the pool 100% do it. We had the best week exploring Slovenia. The leaving gift was also a lovely gesture. Thank you! Memories to last a lifetime.

The location was perfect and the views incredible! The features of the jacuzzi, sauna were wonderful (as well as the pool although we did not use).

the view from the room is amazing, the whole sorrounding is beautiful with the small waterfall, river and cows nearby. the place has bikes and you can take them to look around the place, and trails almost start from your doorstep. everything is very scenic, the accommodation is in the perfect place, it's not far from the main road, but far enough to have a silent stay. the hosts are really kind and ready to help with everything! i truly recommend to stay here if you like hiking or if you just want to have a chill vacation! we would love to go back some day too!

We stayed in the Pool House which was just beautiful. A lovely big room separate from the house with its own dappled shady terrace, yet only a few metres from the main building, and a few metres from the fabulous pool. Large space, well furnished and the villa team were really helpful and responsive. Location is superb, really private and quiet and only a 3-4 minute stroll to the lake front and bars/restaurants. They also own Hotel Adora and we had a great ‘pop up’ dinner there.

We stayed in the pool house and it was a great, private space, with your own outdoor area. The pool itself is lovely and the sunbeds are really comfortable. The location was perfect for us; just set back from the front so you’re tucked away from the main tourist area.

Only stayed here for one night, but it feels like a peaceful oasis in Bled. The pool looked amazing, but unfortunately we didn’t use it because it was too cold during our stay. We also received an upgrade upon check-in which was a very nice surprise. We loved using the sauna too! The room itself was very spacious and we had a huge bathroom. The host is very communicative and it’s really easy to reach her.

Villa Pomona is lovely comfortable hotel that is conveniently located in the heart of Bled. The renovated home is filled with luxurious touches; the decor is elegant. The pool was the perfect respite after hiking. My host provided great recommendations for dining and exploring including an invitation to attend a chefs tasting at her companion hotel in Bled, Villa Adora.

I absoluty loved it and will 100 % return. Very helpful approach and always there to assit, if not there available on phone. Gorgoes house, amazing pool. The only thing I would love to change is working fridge in the room and stronger AIR con, simply as they are advertised. Overall amazing and would highly recommend it.

We stayed at the Terme Olimia Glamping luxury tent and absolutely loved the experience. The tent was spacious, beautifully designed, and very comfortable, offering a perfect mix of nature and luxury. The surroundings were peaceful, and the facilities were excellent – everything was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully prepared for guests.

This was our first experience staying in a glamping site, and it was great! The glamping is well equipped with everything you need, including air conditioning. We really enjoyed the tasty breakfast delivered at the time we requested. We can definitely recommend it!

The villa is excellent for holiday, especially with children. The location is very good, every cities (Koper, Isola, Piran, Strunjan) are within several minutes, also Triest. The garden is beautiful, also the pool. The view is amazing! The silence and a brief slight wind very nice in hot days. In the garage the table tennis, darts and table saws. The house is spaceful, clean and equipped with all you need. Perfect!

The house and facilities are excellent and our host couldn't have been more helpful or thoughtful. The kitchen is superbly equipped and the house and its covered terrace meant we could enjoy alfresco meals whatever the weather. The pool is beautifully situated amidst lavender and rosemary, olive trees and jasmine with a magnificent view of the coast below.

We were warmly welcomed by the host, and greeted with local bakery products - super nice welcome. The stay in totality was outstanding - starting from amazing views and unique location, to cleanliness and number of facilities / options to spend time within the apartment or outside of it. It is a perfect example, that not everything has to be super new or modern in terms of for exaple furniture and so on - sometimes basics like cleanliness, friendliness and hospitality are fundaments that do most of the job ;) Without any hesitation - Planika is a fantastic, worth going to place. You will enjoy it

The service and amenities for the area are unreal. House and guest house are even bigger and better than the pictures. Outside area is wonderful for relaxation with the whole family.

We stayed in the apartment on the ground floor without the swimming pool. It was spacious and clean. One of the bedrooms is without windows but we were informed about this. The location is very quiet. There is a school directly opposite the apartments. The closest shop is 2mins by car. You can get to Portoroz within 10mins by car or 20mins on bike. The person assisting us with accommodation was helpful with everything we needed. If you do not mind that you need to travel a little bit by car or bike then it is definitely good value for money. Overall we were happy with our stay and would not hesitate to come back.

Salinea Apartmens are perfect for a group stay. We had such a wonderful time staying here :) There is a full equipped kitchen inside and there is also outdoor grill with sink.

Everything is there, from grill to many pillows and sundeck. The host was super nice, it was all very clean, had a wonderful time.

It has a very nice view of the mountains. We felt very at home.

It's been a long time since I visited a place I’d confidently rate ten out of ten, but Atik Rooms truly deserves it - especially considering the price-to-quality ratio. My room had a private bathroom and a double bed, a small TV, hairdryer, and a little desk with a chair for working. It was located in the attic, but that wasn’t a problem at all - two skylight windows with blinds provided plenty of light, and during hot days, the air conditioning could be turned on for extra comfort. Outside, in the hallway, there were two comfortable armchairs for working, and nearly every hallway corner had a small kitchenette with an electric kettle, sink, plates/mugs, coffee and tea, and fresh apples/milk every morning- really thoughtful and convenient. Atik Rooms is also perfectly located in the heart of Ljubljana - right next to the Dragon Bridge, the market, the river, and the funicular to the castle. The train station is within walking distance, as are all the city’s main attractions. The receptionist was very friendly, and the entire place was clean and full of charm, with beautiful wooden floors and exposed wooden support beams.

The hotel has an excellent location - a few minutes walk from the triple bridge and the old town. There is a nice bakery around the corner, and a grocery store just a couple minutes walk away. The room was quiet and cool (air conditioning was a major plus for us). Our room was very nice - white and wood beams and two skylights. The building is quiet and feels very safe. There are shared kitchen facilities on the floor our room was on: a kettle for tea and coffee, some snacks, a mini fridge for people to store a few small groceries. I appreciated the care about waste - there was a compost and recycling bin along with garbage in the shared kitchen area.

Location was perfect, just outside the downtown with tons of food options nearby. The staff was great at giving recommendations on things to do and places to eat. Room was clean and comfortable. If you’re on the taller side you may have to mind your head in a few spots of the room, but to be expected when in an attic. Staff gave great instructions on streets where we could find parking and there is an app you can use top up payments. Would stay again when visiting Ljubljana.

I was a bit reluctant to stay here due to the shared bathrooms but it ended up being fine. Everything was clean and available when needed. Nice setup for self-serve food, they also provide some light breakfast things and coffee/tea. The one down side for me was that there was a family or small group that monopolized the tables and seats for breakfast so I took everything to my room. Overall, a great stay. Nice location as well. Lots of restaurants and bars, etc.

We stayed in Ljubljana for a couple nights and had a great stay in a twin room with shared bathroom. It felt like an adult hostel with very clean facilities and respectful, quiet guests. We shared two toilets and a shower room with three other rooms on the hall, so it wasn’t too busy. The beds were comfortable albeit a bit squeaky. The staff were very kind and check in and check out was easy.

Villa Coola is conveniently located just a 10-15 minute walk from the city center, making it an excellent base for exploring Ljubljana. All the facilities mentioned in the booking listing were indeed available in the apartment (as the saying goes, "It does exactly what it says on the tin"). I loved the overall look and feel of the apartment - very colourful and homey! Using old window frames as picture frames is a stroke of genius. Although the host mentioned that the building itself might appear "old," this was not an issue for us at all. The apartment interior was in excellent condition: clean, neat, and tidy. Overall, our stay at Villa Coola was very enjoyable, and I highly recommend it.

The reviews said about how dated and tired the outside of the building was, but we found this to be so charming and add to our experience. Never judge a book by its cover as the apartment was beautifully decorated and so much fun with its quirky additions. Jaka was so informative with how to check in, and he couldn’t do enough to help us during our stay. The location is only 15 minute walk from old town with a Lidl and Hoffer only 6 minutes walk away. The kitchen area had everything we needed, but could benefit from a microwave. We loved our stay here and definitely recommend it.

Collection of keys was well explained and communication with Jaka was very good. The exterior is shabby but adds character. The apartment itself is funky and colorful and has every thing you need. Note that there is no air con so was warm as it was a hot night but had a fan. There is a laundry which you can use as well. The location is excellent. Short walk to the train station & old town.

It was perfect for 2 nights in Ljubljana. We had a car with us, and the property had a private parking space. The room was big and clean, and the style was quite unique! I liked the details of the decorations and furniture. The location was perfect: 10-min walk from the city centre, 5 min from the train station, and there was a bus stop right outside the property as well.

Very creative interior furnishings, retro-style old house, living in it feels different. The supermarket is very close, and it is very convenient to go to the train station and bus station. It only takes 10 minutes to walk to the old town. The landlord is so enthusiastic and thoughtful! I am very happy to have a wonderful holiday! Thank you very much!

Staying at Villa Andor was truly an experience. We felt like in a Monaco villa with an incredibly peaceful atmosphere. We have learned from the staff that the villa was built in the 14th century by a noble family and was one of the Josip Tito's summer residences during the Yugoslav Republic. The hotel is very clean, the staff is incredibly nice and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. The hotel terrace with restaurant offers many beautiful and inspiring places and views. Everything has the patina of an old aristocratic mansion that lets you go back in time. The ubiquitous Mediterranean vegetation is pleasing to the eye. The proximity of the wonderful historic port cities of Izola and especially Piran with surprisingly beautiful city beaches is another reason why to stay at the Andor Hotel. There are also many large parking spaces belonging to the hotel which we really appreciated for our big car. Many thanks for an extraordinary experience, we definitely must come again :-)

We loved this stay. It was everything I expected and even more beautiful. The view from the terrace is spectacular. The building and surroundings have old world charm and it is peaceful. I would love to return for a relaxing disconnect vacation. Breakfast was very generous and the food is delicious. The staff are very accommodating and friendly. It looked like the perfect place for a wedding or anniversary event. We wished we could stay longer!

It's 300 years old, so it was built during the Hapsburg era. It is well appointed. It feels like it could have been the house of a noble woman. 😜 they have a nice restaurant with tasty food from a good chef, great wine. You can't go wrong. Up the hill behind it are hills of grapevines, looking north to Trieste. Just around the corner is Punta Grossa natural park.

I had a truly wonderful stay at this charming accommodation. The atmosphere is incredibly relaxing — perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. Good location right off of the main road on which we were driving from Croatia back to Germany. We just stayed overnight, but it met our needs perfectly for the stopover. The staff were all friendly and helpful, even though we were later than planned due to traffic and cut it close to the end of checkin time. They still allowed us to have a late dinner as well, in the restaurant. Good breakfast included. Room was simple but comfy enough, and had what we needed, including a mini fridge, which is always nice for road trips since we bring a cooler. Dog friendly, and free parking. Can't complain!

Hotel has that athmosphere of an old mountain lodge restaurant which is something quite unique for Slovenia and this region of Europe. I was satisfied with premises and every service it had to offer. Room and bathroom are spaceous and functional. Location was the best possible. Breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. Hotel has quite large and free parking which was perfect since I came with my long minivan. Staff extremly proffesional, polite and helpful. Prices are very attractive, so every guest should leave very satisfied. Next time I'll come back with friends and/or family. Every recommendation!

We spent 1 night at Hotel Pri Belokranjcu for New Year's Eve 22/23 in a triple room. The room was basic but perfectly clean and comfortable. At a very reasonable price. Breakfast was very good, homemade and included in the room's price. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. We also had dinner at the hotel and it was really good and inexpensive. 100% recommended

The room was big, clean and very comfortable. We stayed only for one night, and have a dinner into the restaurant of the hotel. The food was perfect, the prices waer good! We had also a breakfast and everything was great. I highly recomend the hotel. It is very close to te city center and is a perfect palce for one night!

A stylish hostel with 5 rooms in one of the traditional "Venetian" narrow and tall stone buildings, close to the center and the Tartini square. At the top is a beautiful terrace with a view of the city's landmark - St. George's Church. Great for sitting over morning or evening coffee. The hostel has one kitchen for guests (with the possibility of using a fridge, stove and all the necessary dishes) and two bathrooms, everything is very clean - it is cleaned every day. There are also beaches, the "Mercator" store and many cafes nearby. Very nice! I have visited this place many times and will do so again! :)

The location is very central in old town. It is a quick 10min walk from bus station. It was easy to check-in and check-out, we got all instructions, so we didn't need to deal about our arrival time. There is a kitchen. You can refill your bottle of water. As well lovely roof terrace. Building feels authentic with narrow staircase, and wooden room doors. The owner sent also updates about the hostel, so if needed there is a quick way to communicate.

Super good location in the town. Perfect to walk to the restaurant and waterfront. Would recommend to anyone who’s looking to stay in a charming place in Piran. The house feels welcoming and authentic. Loved Piran as a destination too. Completely charmed by this place! Go to Traditional Piran house! Cute little terrasse too :) got the room with the bunk bed and the double bed beside, was perfect!

The location is absolutely excellent and for this price? It's irresistible (especially for students). If I will in this region next time, I will definitely stay in Traditional Piran House. PS: We were accommodated in mid-November. Don't believe your Finnish friends that the sea has a great temperature in Autumn late evening. Because it was really bad idea to trust them and jump there. :D

We absolutely loved it. The location is perfect and the roof top terrace is a nice spot to spend a warm summer evening. Gregor is a great host even though he didn’t have time to greet us personally, he made sure we know everything on how to get to the TPH easily. We’d definitely book it again.

The mountain side view from the garden was nice and the garden was kept well, looked exactly like in the photos. Fortunately in almost no time you could go to Istria by car through the Croatian border to their motorway if you want explore the peninsula. Koper is really close by car and all the main seaside cities like Portoroz, Izola, Piran are in a convenient distance by car if you want to enjoy the Slovenian Adrian sea. Even if you want to visit Italy, thanks to the motorway in Koper it takes almost no time to be in Trieste. I liked the food and the coffee at breakfast, had to restrain myself to not eat them out of their wealth. The staff members were really friendly, helpful and pleasant people. Even if I arrived at late night after a long trip I was able find a parking spot. The Wifi signal was good and stable, and the big screen TV served well during my stay.

We loved everything about the Residence Gold Istra - the staff were so welcoming and could not have been more helpful and friendly . The room was clean and comfortable. The location in the hills was lovely. It is a pension and exactly that- nothing fancy but it does what it promises, excellently. The restaurant was stunning- we love truffles and wow, it did not disappoint. Superb food and great value (we are used to very high prices for truffles in the UK .) We ate there every night of our stay - ( note - It is only only open Friday, Saturday and Sunday) . The Gold Istra also has a fabulous truffle room and sellsthe most wonderful truffle products- again at excellent prices . We shall definitely be back.

First of all :very friendly,apolite,kind, gentle staffs. The environment,the athmosphere is fantastic. We slept like kids. We spent 5 days in in the suite,it is simple perfect. The view is breathtaking. Furnitures,beds,linens,toiletries,wifi,cleanness 10/10. And i have to write about the restaurant: the breakfast is amazing:fresh,juicy,more then enough,wide selection,very good caffee. For dinners we choosed a'la cart: 3 evenings we ate here from the 4. At all 8 ppl. No one of us have any excuse,the plates were flawless,AMAZING,we all just take our hats off to the chef. Definiatelly will go back!!!

Perfect place to stay out of the summer crowds of the beach towns if you have a car. Relax on the lounge chairs in front of your room with views of the valley and olive groves, or do a truffles hunting tour, or drive to Piran or pretty Izola or Trieste for thé day. The staff are extremely welcoming and kind. There is a large covered terrace with good wifi where we spent a rainy morning. The breakfast (not included but very reasonably priced) offers lots of choices and the restaurant is worth trying for its local specialties, including truffles.

One of the best place I have ever been and absolutely the best during our 2 week trip. We stayed there for 3 days, but would like to stay much longer, because it was fantastic. Food is outstanding !!! Personel is so great, that after first day you can feel like with friends :) Amazing view form the garden/chill zone on the back of the building - you just have to see it! :) The best place to just relax, chill, eat great food etc. We are sure we will go back there for more days.

We had booked room with breakfast and had planned to have an evening meal out but we didn’t realise how remote the location was. The owner kindly offered to cook us a meal and also to a backpacker who had turned up. The meal was excellent- a traditional local meal of meat and filled pasta with salad- would highly recommend it. Lovely selection of cold food for breakfast.

The property is in an excellent location surrounded by nature, but not far from the village of Idrija. The host was extremely kind, allowing us to do the late check in and sending me home the credit card I forgot. The rooms are spacious and clean, the terrace overlooking on the woods and mountains is very beautiful. Excellent breakfast with multiple choices of sweet and savory; notable, in particular, are the jams. Super recommended.

That place is so beautiful and quiet. The little houses are absolutely charming. But the best was the host Sonja (hope I’m writing it properly!) She checked us is early, was super attentionate. We came back around 9pm and we asked is we could eat “a little something” (there’s a restaurant there)…. She made us a total feast fit for kings. I just wished we could stay there longer!

Everything perfect. Shared bathrooms and kitchen are very clean, as well as the wooden house. The surroundings are simply amazing. The hosts were really kind and helpful. We had a flat tire and they even took us to a mechanic and help us in any way they could. We were really lucky to stayed in this place.

The host met us at the property, she was genuinely kind and helpful. We even got a bottle of wine from her as a gift which was extra sweet! And - as I specifically requested - there were no steps to climb, my aging parents could navigate the whole space, it was perfect for us.

The host was very friendly and flexible. We arrived very late and they helped us check in nevertheless. The location is lovely and the little houses are super cozy. The shared toilets and showers were also super clean. Overall the atmosphere was amazing!!

The property is less than 5 minutes away from Bled Jezero station with a lovely terrace and beautiful views of lake bled. We had great communication with the hosts as well as clear self-check in instructions. The apartment had two bedrooms, a suitable bathroom and facilities to make hot drinks as well as the option to order a breakfast hamper. It was perfectly comfortable, quiet and clean. It was our first time in Lake Bled and we would really recommend it. Our favourite walk was to Vintgar Gorge which was just under an hour away from the property and had beautiful scenery.

This place was a true wonder. Both to find and to stay in. The host provided us a guide of restaurants and a map to walk down to the lake. Wish we booked more nights here. Truly magical It was also very clean and more huge than expected with an additional room to store our stuff in.

Check in was seamless, with room keys available on arrival (no reception on site). Room was very clean and modern with views over Bled island. Information was provided on things to do at Bled, as well is instructions on how to get to the lake. Free parking was provided just across the road.

Great apartment in a perfect location to enjoy mountain and lake views. Short steep walk down to the lake and can then walk around the lake to swimming areas, boat hire, view points, and restaurants. Parking space directly outside the apartment. Recommend this accommodation for visiting Lake Bled and exploring the area.

Literally everything! We stayed at the apartment with the hot Tub and it was amazing I loved it . Super clean, quiet, plenty of parking spots, close to the supermarket had a coffee machine , a full size refrigerator and the kitchen was stocked even had a dishwasher !!! Keep up the good work !

The best accommodation we have been to so far. It is located in a picturesque, easily accessible location, an excellent starting point for exploring the area. The equipment of the apartment is excellent, after a tiring tour it's like going home.

The place is 10 minutes away by car from Lubliana.Very clean and cosy as well.We arrived late after many hours on the motorcycle and after some rain and there was a bit of confusion to enter the hotel so if everyone arrives when the reception is not open should take care of reading before all the emails,we were unlucky to be out of battery at the mobiles, the exact code that it needs to open the out box with the cards and take the exact card of his room .We were very lucky to find a couple of Ukraine outside that they helped us.The receptionist is kind and willing to help the guests.

We've done lots of road trips around Europe, and this place ticks all the boxes: convenient, safe private parking, friendly staff, strong WiFi, very comfortable and quiet room, good breakfast. The location is great: right next to the highway, but with good insulation so that you don't hear the road noise inside. It's a quick drive to the centre of Ljubljana, and very easy to just continue on the highway when you leave. We've stayed here a couple of times and will do so whenever we pass through Slovenia.

We needed a hotel next to the highway for our road trip. This had easy access to highway, plenty of grocery stores and restaurants next to it, big free parking space. The rooms were very well insulated, so no noise from highway or neighbors. Friendly staff, very comfortable bed, big room, well furnished. Definitely worth the money. Would stay again.

The hotel was lovely for our overnight stay during a long drive. It is in a very convenient location close to the highway. There is a grocery store and several restaurants in close proximity. The room is large, very well soundproofed, the beds are very comfortable. We had a relaxing and comfortable stay, we would love to come back!

Very welcoming and pleasant stay, even though we only stayed one night. We had a studio with a balcony, a wonderful atmosphere and view, and above all, very, very clean studio. Excellent beds. The breakfast was also great, lots of choice, excellent. Lots of free parking space, elevator in the building, bike storage. Great soundproofing - I don't know if we were lucky and all the guests were so quiet :) or if it's great soundproofing because we didn't hear anything and it was completely peaceful and quiet in the studio.

The property is situated in the picturesque location of Soriska planina, with wonderful views and fresh air. The restaurant serves delicious food at good prices. The freshly prepared blueberry strudel with freshly picked local berries was delicious. They also serve local beer from Ziri and Bohinj among other things. The room was clean and cosy. We were there in the Summer and plan on visiting in Winter as well. A great starting point for mountain biking and skying. They accommodate dogs as well, for a small surcharge.

Amazing cozy hotel in the mountains, perfect location for nature lovers, the staff is very kind and helpful, the restaurant serves wide range of good food and drinks for reasonable prices, the room was clean, modern with a big balcony, obviusly with a lovely view to the forest. Even though weather was not in our favour (nobody is to blame), we had fantastic time here and would happily return

The location in the mountains was amazing. Awesome looking infrastructure. Cool camping area around the area, hiking trails, great scenery, etc,, The employees had a great attitude and the restaurant inside and outside had a great vibe/atmosphere. Good for a spontaneous pit stop or for families, couples etc. Prices were extremely affordable and some of the best Slovenian dishes.

This is a perfect spot for a mountain getaway in the great location to go hiking or a short drive to Bohinj lake. Staff is awesome, breakfast feels homemade and with plenty of choice. Rooms are comfortable with large beds. Food in restaurant is heavenly.

I loved this place so much! When I arrived I was a bit overwhelmed because the atmosphere is so different than your average hostel. But it's very homey, cosy, and Colleen is lovely. There are many rooms but the common areas are just a small kitchen and living room, which is perfect because it gives so much opportunity to start conversation (whereas I'm generally quite reluctant to do so). We watched the Euros on tv, I had some wonderful, long conversations every night and ended up meeting amazing people here! The 4-person dorm was spacious and clean, with a closet and an AC (although there were some disagreements on how the AC would be put to use). The bathroom was good/clean and the kitchen well equiped with a lot of free food as well. There was a nice little supermarket right in front of the hostel. Colleen is super organised: she puts up pieces of paper with information and announcements everywhere in the house so that you always know exactly how and what.

Location is right in the middle of bled slightly up a hill but no issue. The owner is an absolute gem with a wealth of information and early checkin is available. The facilities meet expectations and above, kitchen although didnt use is awesome and has a nice buzz when there are people in there. The showers (im pretty particular about) had reasonable pressure and heat, bathrooms clean and available throughout the hostel. Storage within the rooms is enough for anyone with stuff, beds were comfy and clean and bunks not noisy. I'd stay here again anyday of the week if i was in bled. Thanks for the awesome stay!

This is by far the best hostel I have ever stayed in! Colleen is a fabulous host: cheerful, incredibly helpful and always offering a good piece of advice. If you are looking for a place where you can have a good night sleep and at the same time socialise and make new friends - look no further. The hostel has everything you might need and, compared to other places I had been to, the beds are really comfy. After five nights here, I am sad to leave but taking some great memories with me. Colleen was great. She is very knowledgable about the area, will tell you what to do and what to avoid. She let me in early as my bus had arrived before check in. The hostel is a good location, very close to restaurants, pubs, the bus stop, the supermarket. Felt very relaxed and safe. There is a luggage storage, good WIFI, showers are clean and powerful. Kitchen well stocked.

The atmosphere of the place was incredible. Colleen managed to create a warm environment where l felt very comfortable and welcomed. It felt more like staying in a shared home than in a typical hostel. Everything was well-maintained. Honestly, it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. Colleen is always ready to help you with your itinerary or anything else. I highly recommend this hostel.

I had a fantastic stay at Znidar. The accommodation had everything I needed, including air conditioning, a kettle, a hairdryer, and a fully equipped kitchen. Everything was clean and comfortable. A nice bonus was the fresh bread rolls served in the morning – a great touch. On top of that, the hosts even offered me a ride to the lake, completely unprompted, which I really appreciated. They were kind, helpful, and made me feel welcome. The location is also excellent: just a short walk from the bus station, a good restaurant, and a supermarket. Everything you need is close by. All in all, highly recommended. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect starting position for all trips in the area. Parking space. One minute ride to gas station. Near the entrance, you can find free maps and attractions info and also owners can support you with additional info if required. Two minutes walk to a major Slovenian grocery shop (Mercator). Fully equipped kitchen, probably more than you will ever need on short vacation, very convenient with kids. We even got fresh home baked bread buns from the owners even though we did not expected it, nor breakfast was included during our booking. They were really tasty! Thank you!!!

We loved our stay in this spacious attic apartment! One balcony overlooks the church and the other has beautiful mountain views. Peter, the host, was so kind and welcoming. Watching the sunrise from the balcony was amazing. Lake Bohinj and Lake Bled are just a 15–20 minute drive away. We only stayed one night and really wished we could have stayed longer — it was hard to leave!

The accommodation was great. It has a good location if you want to explore the surrounding area. There was a shop, bakery, restaurants nearby. The room amenities met everything we needed. We didn't miss anything. The room was clean, cozy, comfortable. We were also pleased with the fresh pastries outside the door every morning. I would definitely recommend this accommodation. :)

The property was situated in the middle of Bohinjska Bistrica, great location to visit nearby lake Bled and Bohinj. The hosts were super friendly and the rooms were very clean. The beds had comfortable and firm mattresses. Overall we had a great stay and it was very good value for money.

Great hostel! The owner is very friendly, made the checking process a breeze. Allowed us to keep the bikes inside the hotel to make sure they are safe. Excellent breakfast in the morning. The lady who makes the breakfast is very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is hundred times better than at the most hotels in USA. Definitely recommend staying at this hostel.

My wife and I were staying in the hotel for 4 nights. When we arrived, the hotel owner Mr Andrej personally escorted us to our room. He offered us help with anything during our stay. He offered where to rent bikes, what to visit,... All info that we asked about was spot on. He even made a call to stand owner so that we can buy cheese before he opens a stand. All in all, Mr Andrej was very nice and very friendly. And above all, he was very professional. The room maid, miss Marijana was also very friendly and accommodated all of our requests. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. And everyone was very professional. The hotel is a small hotel, less than 10 rooms and we liked that. The whole atmosphere was very nice, quiet and warm. Hotel has excellent menu and 2 young and upcoming chefs. This is the best place for fine dining and a great wine in Kranjska Gora and around. When we will go to Kranjska Gora again, Pino Alpino is the only place that we will be staying at. We fully recommend hotel Pino Alpino.

It's always the people who make the difference and the two who looked after us during our stay could not have been better. Warm and welcoming it was like staying with friends and yet there was always professionalism and attention to detail. Whilst our quite spacious 'small' room may not have had quite the style of the public areas it was nevertheless very comfortable. The team took a pride in offering food and drink of a high quality with some interesting and unusual offerings and yet it all felt comfortable and not at all pretentious. A great location and we were comfortable leaving the motorbike in their car park.

We had an amazing stay at Pino Alpino! We came with our little 3 year old son who didn’t need to pay for that stay and they even gave us a breakfast for him! We were ready to pay for his breakfast but it was free - amazing! We will definitely come back to this hotel because we never had such a great kids friendly stay. And of course the room was very nice, spatious, clean and cosy. Breakfast was a la carte and very very delicious. And the staff was amazing. Total 10/10 for our stay. <3

Smack in the centre of the old town, you’ll find Pino Alpino. Super friendly and helpful staff serving, what could be, the best breakfast in Kranjska Gora. Al-a-carte choices of eggs, avocado toast, home made granola, fruit, barrister cappuccinos… it goes on, eat as much as you like (can). The rooms are basic and could do with a refresh but had everything you need, albeit no air-con, which was a shame.

Incredible hospitality, super friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were spotless and exuded warmth, beautiful decor. And great food, both breakfast and dinner. Shout-out to Lucia - thanks for the tips on where to go and where not to go! Made the experience so much better. Would definitely be looking to come back to this one.

Rooms were very clean, the bathroom came with full hygiene supplies (toothbrush, body shampoo etc.), we were given clean towels that were frequently switched out with new ones, the beds were very warm and comfortable and you even get sweets when staff cleans your room while you're away! Very nice place, would recommend to anyone!

Chose the property for its location close to Nova Gorica railway station to facilitate an early start in the morning (also the price was very good.) I was expecting to arrive quite late and the host messaged to say he would be happy to wait for me; in the end I arrived before 9pm and I'm glad I did as it gave me the chance to experience the restaurant. There is only one word for the quality of the meal - superlative.

One of the best places we stayed at, even if it was just for one day. We were pleasantly welcomed with a free drink and a nice chat. We got the breakfast (5 euros!) and were pleasantly surprised with a DIY toast & tea breakfast. Was worth the money for us. The room itself looked very good and had a nice bed and very nice shower. This hotel defo punches above its weight.

A very enjoyable stay. The bartender who checked me in was extremely helpful, pleasant, and spoke flawless English. The restaurant is very nice and the room is quite comfortable. Very new and clean with a nice bathroom and a very fancy shower. The breakfast was good and is very convenient right next to the rooms with a nice selection of foods. I can certainly recommend staying here and enjoying the restaurant also possible

Everything was excellent!! Communication was quick and check in and check out were simple and smooth. Room was great! Breakfast was great! Staff were all amazing! Easy walk into Gorizia, Italy from the hotel. Also, close to public transportation as well. And, do yourself a favor and EAT AT THEIR RESTAURANT. The food was so delicious, especially the beefsteak! Would definitely stay there again when visiting this area.

We loved our stay at Hisa Posebne Sorte! The dinner was delicious, staff very friendly, and gave us a great recommendation for a winery to visit. They also helped us find a wonderful e-bike rental so we could spend the day biking around the valley. It has a very small town feel to it, in the best way, and the hospitality was superb. It’s in a great location for cycling, hiking, vineyards, and visiting the caves. They were very eco-friendly, which my wife and I really appreciated.

There isn't a thing you could not like here. Seriously. Ok, the weather played a bit tricks on us the first day. But even it redeemed itself with a beautiful rainbow at the end of the day. So, when you have a group of friends or family, all of them having time (which can be the most difficult part these days) and you want to spoil them (and yourself), book a stay. Reserve a table for dinner. And then - enjoy.

Loved the idyllic setting of this guesthouse which is adjacent to a meadow with cows, calls and ringing of cowbells with the small church at the end of the meadow. The entire Vipava Valley is outstanding beautiful. The host family was SO friendly, informative, and accommodating. Their food was great. The room was spacious, clean, quiet and charming. I highly recommend this guesthouse for your Slovenian adventures.

Die Produkte stammen von Einheimischen und es werden Saisonprodukte verwendet. Die Umgebung einfach idyllisch. Wir empfehlen es weiter. Es ist wert.

Kitchen has everything from jams, breads, milk…. Great as the property is not in main town so during bad weather it was great. We also tried their home made wine which was also good. I guess the view too is good as it was on height but during our stay we couldn’t enjoy that due to bad weather.

Such an amazing place, surrounded by nature. Just peace and relaxation. The owner is very nice, she waited for us, explained everything, prepared the jacuzzi and brought breakfast every morning. The breakfast is great, a lot of options to choose from and warm bread. Also there is an option to order pizza and we appreciated that too. You can also buy drinks or local products from the main house. The chalet is very cozy, comfortable and it had everything we needed. Our dogs felt welcomed too (there was no additional tax) and enjoyed the nature.
