Loved the little Casita for a family stay with kids. They loved the private pool, the little fireplace. The staff reached out to make sure our stay is comfortable. My only complaint is the shower pressure is weak.

Excellent location near the beach. Loved all the thoughtful amenities, hot breakfast at our doorstep, holiday decor, very clean, heated private plunge pool. Great parking for our room and for visiting the historic area, all included. Highly recommended!

Our stay at the casita was the peak of romance for our elopement! We loved the private pool, two room set up, ease of parking & breakfast/social hour offerings.

Loved the place. The staff was great. I do have 2 complaints. 1. Booking thru Expedia shows this property having a pool with picture and it does not have a pool. 2. Was suppose to be a quiet place however parties full sending outside our window on our balcony from 3-5 am and no staff on site to be able to do anything about it. The entire floor was not happy.

Our whole stay was exceptional as indicated above. We were a bit confused when first checking the website. We did not know there were other properties. We were lookin g forward to t pool. The only other suggestion we would like to make, is to have coffee makers (Kurig) in the rooms. Again a wonderful experience, would highly recommend and we will return in the next season.

Breakfast was wonderful. The breakfast staff was friendly, helpful and attentive. They provided a clean space and all food items and needs were fully stocked. The attendants passing out fruit cups and especially watermelon (to help with replenishing fluids during high heat outside) was a lovely touch. Thank you! The rooms were nice with lots of storage options and great lighting. Beds were comfortable and the blinds on the windows keep the sun completely blocked. They supplied lots more coffee pods than most hotels, too! Towels were plush and smelled great. We loved the Dove products in the bathrooms, too. The hotel provided beach chairs, wagons, floats and toys for use at both the beach and the in site indoor pool. The indoor pool was nice because there were large roll up doors that provided the ability lie in the sun near the pool, too. Perfect for parents wanted to watch the kids in the pool while getting a tan. :) Really a great idea!

Very well-maintained hotel. From the arrival the receptionist was very well informed of the tours in St Augustine and gave us some good directions. The owner and his wife were at the property at breakfast helping and talking to the guests and socializing trying to reach everyone and making sure they are well accommodated. We have never seen a treat of this level and such care. Inside pool with warm water. We caught a rainy day; the covered pool helped us having some good time with our kids. Everyone was very pleasant smiley and friendly. Delicious rich breakfast. 1 min walk to the beach, a lot of surfers. Strongly recommend a longer stay to soak in the good vibes that come from the management to the last person from the staff. Big Thank You Mr Farid.

From the original booking to the stay, everything was superb. I need a ground floor or near the elevator room - quick response confirming that was done. The room was right in front of the little elevator hallway - which also had 2 chairs while you were waiting. The pool was cool and clean. The breakfast was just a quality as a restaurant - without having to leave. The location was fantastic. We were able to walk to everything we wanted to go to - restaurants, fishing pier, beach and Publix. This was one the best - if not the best - hotel we have stayed at. Have already recommend with family and friends if they ever visit the area.

The best three things about this place. 1. If it is cold, it's one of the ONLY HEATED POOLS in the market. The kids loved it. 2. The Staff is exceptional. In today's terms, the training on a lot of staff is abhorent. This place is squared away. 3. Something different. It's not in the Historic District which we liked. It is a short drive over the bridge and when the district is busy it is LOUD, this place was so quiet and it was one of the best stays I have ever had out here. * The breakfast. Even the owners are involved. The place is an 11.

Staff was extra nice, breakfast was great, location was perfect, It was my husband and I, 44 wedding anniversary, we went to the beach, then came back to the hotel got in the pool, went out to dinner & then went to the pier and watched the sunset " Perfect". And I would like to say, when we left, I forgot my bathing suit in the bathroom and one of the cleaning staff, rushed to the parking lot to give it to me before we left, that finished off our great time ❤️

One of the standout features of Marker 8 Hotel & Marina is its unbeatable location. Situated just five minutes away from all of the city's main landmarks and attractions, the hotel offers easy access to everything St. Augustine has to offer, with the added charm of crossing the bridge to get there. The hotel's heated pool was a welcome amenity, particularly on colder or windy days. It provided a relaxing oasis where we could unwind and enjoy the beautiful surroundings in comfort.

Exceptional as always! In town for boat business again my room was ready early,super fresh clean and cold on a brutal summer day. Gorgeous waterfront views from my private porch sunset views. Pool is awesome, happy hour snacks and breakfast are a must. Seamless check in Gina is the best! Location cannot be beat, walking distance to historic sights and great restaurants. No brainer I’ll be back again

This hotel is absolutely beautiful! The staff are friendly and accommodating. The breakfast and breakfast staff are phenomenal! The evening snacks were so nice and the pool area was perfect for my teenage daughters and me. And the location is a short walk to the historic district and a short drive to the beach. We can’t wait to return!

Cute waterfront hotel. Room was clean, great location, and it included a made to order breakfast. Service was great and the room is well equipped. Pool is small, but still was really refreshing after a day of exploring St Augustine. We will likely be back.

The property was in the perfect location to walk the entire Historical Area. The Inn was delightful and welcoming for the Christmas season. The rooms were well represented in the photos on the site as each guest room has decor exclusive to that room. The staff was over the top: Jessica, Michael, Marcia, and Melanie were fun, friendly, interesting, and made our stay perfect. The rest of the staff did a great job, as well. The Inn is spotless inside and out. Our bed was plush and dressed in luxury linen. Each room is equipped with a remote ceiling fan, jetted tub, complementary bottled waters, and a cappuccino machine with varied pods to create the perfect hot beverage. Guests find a noice machine, ear plugs, privacy shades plus drapes, and ambient lighting. The staff thought of everything! Breakfast is served from 8:30 till 10:00 with a menu that is varied and delicious. Happy Hour is a real treat every afternoon with wine choices and assorted beers. Guests receive text messages inviting you to breakfast and Happy Hour with the menus listed. Nice touch! In the lobby area, guests will find teas, snacks, infused water, coffees, and baked items 24/7. Agustin Inn is an adult only establishment. The ambiance is a cut above and has a vibe that will make you want to go back. We booked again prior to leaving. We have found our St. Augustine go to and cannot wait to return.

The staff was so helpful and friendly, very attentive but never intrusive. The breakfast was delicious, and I received a lovely gift on Mother’s Day! We had a wonderful weekend stay in a perfect location. Once we parked the car it was walking and biking all weekend. The ONLY downside was a little too much light coming through our blinds on the door to our private veranda, as we normally sleep with dark curtains. Not a big deal though, I will bring a sleep mask next time we stay here. Offsite parking was only a few blocks away, but you’re able to drop off your belongings first. You are able to hear live music playing at times, not obnoxious at all during our stay. We enjoyed sitting outside listening. I sleep with ear plugs anyway, so had no issues with things being too loud at any point. The Inn provides ear plugs as well. We would definitely stay here again!

I loved that the B&B was so centrally located to everything and the wrap around porch was lovely. It was secure and breakfast was amazing each day, superb actually. The chocolate chip cookies were delicious. We loved the fortified feeling of the home with the wall all around and the old world doors leading into it. The rooms have everything you need and we’re quite comfy. There was body wash, shampoo, conditioner in the shower and makeup wipes and moisturizer on the sink. There was also bath salts it you wanted to get in the jet tub. There’s a safe in the room, an ice bucket, and earplugs.

The location is PERFECT! It's right off of the middle of St. George Street. Couldn't be better! The staff was beyond helpful, kind, and welcoming. They had water, coffee, and fresh (delicious!) baked goods available all evening. It came in very handy when we came in late and wanted a late night snack. Breakfast was TOP NOTCH! I would go back for breakfast alone. Our room was on the 3rd floor and we loved it! It was only stairs, but that's totally expected with the history of the city.

My Hubby and I went to have a care free mini vacation to rest and get away from our businesses. We wanted to stay in St. Augustine and be worry free of driving; which is why we chose this Bed and Breakfast. The ambiance was exactly what I wanted. It was like going to visit my grandma's house. The service was excellent. All of the Ladies were awesome and sweet, very accommodating. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. We ended staying an additional day. I would definitely stay there again.

Wow wow wow. I was not expecting all that we received. This hotel is now on the top of the list for favorite hotel. It was clean, directly in the middle of everything, super safe and extremely clean. When I travel I always have Bleach & Lysol ... this was the first hotel that I only cleaned the toilet (and that's only because I have OCD). The staff was unreal. Two lovely ladies waited late for us to arrive, came outside to find us and escorted us to the room. Normally employees are ready to go home but they were there with smiles ! The follow day we received a hot FREE breakfast. There is a wine bar on site. I think the hotel should update the photos to really show the beauty of the hotel. I can't say, I'd be back to St. Augustine because there's not much to do for me and my family, we were there for a wedding. But if I return to St. Augustine, I will ONLY stay at the St. George Inn.

St. George Inn was the BEST stay we have ever had in St. Augustine. Room 23 - perfect view -coupled with the breeze from the water and best people watching from above. If people watching is your sport, then this room is yours. The bed, sheets and pillows were perfection. The air was ice cold and giant ceiling fan kept the hot flashes away. The service was top notch - kind, wonderful staff. They truly went above and beyond. The adorable wine bar downstairs was excellent. We ordered wine and charcuterie board prior to our arrival and was perfection. There is a cigar bar right below our room and enjoyed cigars and wine on our balcony. There was live music (AWESOME) from 1pm to 7. We walked down St. George Street to eat, shop and watch live music and take in the sights. It was truly a perfect weekend getaway. LOVE THIS PLACE and will be back again.

Wonderfully warm, efficient, welcoming staff on, actually before arrival. Delightful, lush courtyard and stellar porch to rock in while watching the most fun, interesting, lively act we’ve seen in a long time. I should have gotten her name because her performance was one of the highlights of your hotel. She was performing on Friday night. We LOVED her and so did the crowd. The room layout was so perfect. We’re a bunch of overworked Nurses and had to share a room. The bathroom in the middle made it feel like suite. We were so comfortable. Your hotel was a high point of our travels. Thank you for a wonderful experience that was worth every penny. I hope you might have a discount promotion for healthcare workers because we can’t wait to come back and convince our coworkers to come too. Thank you.

Stayed at the St George many times over the last 7 years and they never disappoint. The rooms are spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. The St George is perfectly located to all the walking attractions, eating establishment, shops and more. They offer a lovely breakfast every morning with something for everyone both hot and cold varieties plus they have their own wine bar too! . A coffee bar, a cigar shop, and a chocolate shop are located right around the center area as well. Most nights there is usually a "Local" singing or playing music out in the center area with patio tables and chairs for anyone to enjoy coffee, wine, snacks and more all while being entertained. To us, it really is the perfect spot and we have loved every stay no matter the season or the weather.

Our view of the fort was great and the room was well set up. Our favorite part of we coffee on the porch at sunrise as the city is calm and the fort looks amazing with the early ocean fog. For being in the center of St Augustine, there isn't really a better place to stay. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and the staff was there for whatever we needed help with. We are not wine people so we did not get a chance to try the connected wine bar but we did try a new açaí bowl shop a few doors down and it was stellar on a hot day. We usually come to Orlando each summer for our annual vacation and because we loved the Inn so much, we will be back!

We were in town for my wife to do the Bridge of Lions 5k and chose the Renaissance as our place to stay. This hotel is perfectly situated so you are within walking distance of pretty much everything. The hotel itself is very beautiful both inside and out. We arrived late on our check-in day, but check-in was a breeze, and we were on our room in no time. The room was very comfortable, and I had a great night's sleep. We had breakfast the next morning at the hotel restaurant, and it was very good. We spent the day walking around St. Augustine and listening to different live music sessions along St. George Street. The hotel has a pool , but it is very small and was having some work done on the pool deck, so we didn't try it. Otherwise, we had a great stay and would definitely stay there again when back in the area.

We absolutely loved this hotel! It was beautiful and the lobby smelled amazing. Our room was great, complete with a small private balcony. We had a comfortable king-size bed, a sitting area with a small couch, side chair, and table, plus a huge, relaxing armchair. I especially appreciated the small vanity area, for doing makeup and hair. The bathroom was a bit compact, but very well-designed and efficient. The room also had a mini-fridge and plenty of storage space. Being on the second floor right next to the staircase we occasionally heard some noise, but it wasn't a major issue. The hotel has some nice amenities, including a small pool on the first floor, tucked away towards the back, a convenient Starbucks right in the lobby, and a restaurant just next door. The location is fantastic too!

Johanna at the bar was great! We stayed over July 2 thru 4th and everyone was very kind. Everyone we interacted with on the valet team is amazing. The younger man with longer hair was so kind and hard working. The rooms were clean and everything was in working order. I wish I got the gentleman's name, but the gentleman who was working to close down the pool for the evening and water the plants on July 4th was a pleasure to speak with. Such a wonderful personality and helpful. Thank you all for a great stay!

We stayed two nights and had a wonderful stay. Very clean, nice room, located just after the City Gate across from Ripley’s, so an easy walk to all of the historic district. They have valet parking and are also right next to the city parking garage. Note if you have a handicapped parking pass parking is free in the city lots and garage. We enjoyed the small pool after a day sightseeing. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We did have breakfast one morning in their restaurant it was very good

Really nice staff - We showed up exhausted in the middle of the night because of bad storms and delays with our airline. The beds are comfy, the restaurant was convenient when a large rainstorm hit and we didnt feel like walking outside. The pool was super small but very nice, clean towels and chairs and helped us just take a relaxing first day! We will be back!

Very clean husband and wife owned. They did have a swimming pool and King rooms do have king beds that Booking.com did not show on the website. I spent a extra night there and will visit again. Conveniently located. I don't look for fancy hotels I sleep there and may use the pool. My wife considered it to be fancy. It was recently remodeled and is very comfortable.

You need to stay here. It is an older place but someone has spent it is spending $$ to update. I read the reviews- the good, bad and ugly. We decided we’d stay. I’m glad we did. We booked through booking.com. After we checked in, the lady walked us down to own room, opened the door, closed the window, turned on the air, checked the room and bathroom, explained the remotes and TV, asked if she could get us anything, told us that it would take a little while for the room to cool down. She thanked us for coming. Told us to call for anything if we needed. I really enjoyed her attention. (There are some complaints in the reviews about this attention. I think these complainers would complain about anything, to be honest) We had a king room (#108). The room was entirely clean, not a speck of dirt/dust on anything. It was hot in the room so we had to kill some time until it cooled off. We were gone as long as we wanted to be, came back and the room was cooked sufficiently. Yesterday, we hopped in the pool and it is a darling! It’s a concrete The shallower end is 4ft with built in steps and the deeper end is 5ft with a ladder. Sparkling clean and cool enough. There was no noticeable street noise and no noise from neighboring rooms. The historic inn is located just over the bridge on Anastasia. If you’re so inclined to walk from the Inn back over to st Augustine, you can easily. Will stay again and I definitely recommend.

Let me start by echoing another recent reviewers comments…IGNORE THE OLD REVIEWS! My teenage son and I came to St. Augustine for 4 days to visit family and just needed a safe, clean, and comfortable place to stay. Historic Inn checked all those boxes. Located just over the Bridge of Lions from the historic area of St. Augustine, it was easy to walk over the bridge or drive to anything on that side of town. It’s obvious they have recently renovated - from the outside it is standard looking motel, the grounds were clean, and there is a small outdoor pool that was clean, though we never had time to go in. Check-in was a breeze, our room was ready on time and we were walked up to the space to make sure everything was in order. Our room, a 2 full beds room, was spacious and everything was very clean. Lots of storage space in cabinets and drawers, a desk and chair, a large TV, in-room coffee maker, small fridge, microwave, small closet and a large sink/vanity area. Toilet and shower are in a separate room. The only two things I could mention as slightly negative - the pillows are very very thin and the shower head is very low. I’m short so it didn’t matter to me, but anyone over 5’5” is going to have to bend down a bit most likely. Not the end of the world, but something to note for awareness. There was always plenty of parking available and check-out was just as easy check-in. Price was very reasonable.Thanks for a great stay!

The property was super cute, very affordable it looked very kept up with outside maintenance very clean. Super cute little pool not very big, but still clean and nice, I used it. The rooms were clean the beds were good, pillows were good sheets were soft. My room had a super cute little vanity in it I was able to sit and while getting ready for the night out. Also in a great location across the bridge is downtown St. Augustine it’s a 6 min drive across or a 25 min walk. Also walking distance to local bars & restaurants. So across the street to the right of the hotel there was a nice place I can’t remember the name of it, it’s was Bird something, but it has the white lights outside all lit up you can’t miss it. Anyway we just went for drinks and the bartenders were super cool Austin and Garrett made us a couple stiff one which made walking back to the room a lot of fun lol 🥴🤣

Great, great inn right over Lions Bridge from the historic district. Small, quaint, extremely clean. The owner works the desk and walks you to the room like a host. Room extremely clean, great towels, beds, everything. 8 minutes from the beach and 3 minutes from the historic district, you can actually walk to the historic district. Pool very clean. We saved a lot of money staying there rather than downtown or right at the beach. I'll book there in a heartbeat without even looking at other options.

This place is fabulous. The views are absolutely spectacular. Rooms are well equipped with fridge and microwave and decent sized TV with cable access and balcony. Breakfast is available to take to your room or you can sit at the breakfast bar and soak up the glorious view of the ocean. Book a room with a king size bed. You will sleep like a baby. This place is beautifully simple, comfortable, unpretentious and unique. The staff are very helpful and want your stay to be the best it can be. The property is right on Vilano beach away from crowds with no traffic. This is our second visit and it most definitely won’t be our last as we come regularly to the States to visit close family. Nearby restaurant Beaches at Vilano has fantastic sunset views. St Augustine is the oldest town in the US and pretty to walk around. Also recommend Columbia restaurant but you must book. Cannot recommend St Augustine Beach House more highly. It’s a gem of a place.

Spent the night here for my wife’s birthday. We got the corner suite and it was perfect. Upon check in, we received a breakfast menu for our stay. You select what you want and then call them when it’s time for breakfast and they cook it fresh!! The room was very clean and the staff was friendly. There is a book in the room with a lot of local things to do but just sitting on the balcony and watching the beach was great for us. They are right on the beach and have beach chairs and umbrellas available for use at no charge. Did I mention it was my wife’s birthday?? I mentioned it to them at check-in. Then in the morning on her birthday they included a fresh baked cake and a card for her!! I was as surprised as she was. I literally stay in 75 hotels a year and this was the best one yet!! We will be back!!

We loved the made to order breakfast. Upon check in you receive daily menus for each person for every day you are there. You fill it out and you are set. Each day you text or call and let them know when you would like your breakfast. The breakfast is really awesome. The rooms are gorgeous and very comfortable. It's like your own beach house. The bed was really comfortable. large walk-in shower with a rainfall shower head; fabulous. The way the balconies are designed provides you with a lot of privacy. This hotel has the BEST views in Vilano Beach. The 3rd floor views are unbelievable. Don't worry about packing beach chairs or umbrellas; the SABH has them for their guests. LOVE this place. There is a wide assortment of souvenirs at their giftshop as well as beer and wine. The staff is amazing, warm and so kind. This hotel is pet friendly.

Wonderful boutique hotel right on Vilano Beach in St Augustine. Every room has a balcony with seating facing the ocean and beach. Our room was large, well appointed and equipped with everything we needed for our extended stay. Breakfast every morning was outstanding. The staff goes above and beyond to accommodate any specific needs you may have and does it with joy and a smile. A special shout out to Nancy the manager, she was a gift and made our stay truly special. We will definitely be returning and I am recommending the St Augustine Beach House to family and all my friends. This is the way to run a vacation hotel.

The view was phenomenal 😍 The staff exceptional! The breakfast was great! It was so nice to be able to have breakfast on the balcony or in our rooms! You just call and give them 10 minutes to have your order ready. You choose your options for each day at check in and you are all set! The convenience of portable beach chairs and umbrellas on the patio to pick up and drop off was nice! The room was clean and nice beachy decor! Highly recommend 👌 The walk to the beach was just a few yards, very close! Sunrise seen every morning was beautiful!!

What was a little disappointing for me is , you have a swimming pool, but no umbrellas ,‘I went to the pool with my sister but it was so hot we couldn’t stay there, we had to go early in the morning or at 5pm when the sun isn’t that strong, you should have umbrellas at the pool area , it will make it comfortable for your guests to be able to enjoy spending time at the pool, sincerely Candida,

Great staff. Cordial and helpful with great suggestions for beaches and food. We asked for extra towels and pool towels which were promptly provided. Every employee we met was smiling and friendly. Room nicely laid out and very clean. Large and convenient to drive up to. We had a 2 queen beds on first floor, with a large bathroom, mini fridge and 2 comfortable barrel chairs to sit in. The beds were very comfortable, pillows plentiful and towels were soft. The shower/tub was large with lots of room. The A/C worked really well albeit a little loud. Pool very comfortable and we loved the raised deck that overlooked the river. We watched the horses trot by and the pirate ship return from its sea adventure. Great hot breakfast with good choices including our grandsons favorite... blueberry muffins. There's a antipasto happy hour, in the evenings, with cookies, cheeses, assorted meats and crackers. They offer cold water all day in the lobby. Both the breakfast cook and the afternoon hor's d'ouvers attendant were energetic, helpful and extremely friendly. They even made a special effort to help my grandson. This is our new "go-to" place to stay in St. Augustine. I love the fact that there is in/out privileges for parking. It appears that there is plenty of on-site parking, one space per room.

It’s very quite , walking distance to all our favorite restaurants and shops . Pool was perfect temperature. Pool does need some upgrade. Will definitely come back

We truly enjoyed our recent stay at the Bayfront Inn. This hotel is close to everything! We walked across the street to take the scenic boat tour. We walked to St George Street, Flagler College, the fort, etc. Also there is a trolley stop at the hotel next door, and we rode the trolley all around town and down to the fountain of youth. The breakfast is basic but very filling, no complaints. At night they have a happy hour where they serve light hors d'oeuvres and freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. The water has a strong sulfur smell so I wouldn't advise drinking it, but the hotel provides lots of free bottled water in the fridge in the lobby. Very nice touch! It was very hot so we needed that water. There is on site free parking, which I gather is rare in St Augustine. The room was very basic, but the beds were super comfy. The only thing I would have preferred is for the sink to be inside the bathroom. We did not get a chance to use the pool, but we did sit in the suspended chairs on the patio area.

The property is extremely clean, the staff is wonderful. The property is located right in the historic district walkable to everything. The location is perfect. There’s a nice small breakfast buffet. Unlimited water bottles! The hotel itself is well-maintained, furniture is in good condition. The bed was very comfortable. The con was, that this is an old motel. There is a small pool in the parking lot with no shade. The room smelled a bit musty.

Location is superb. Clean good size rooms. Staff very friendly. Easy check in or out. Balconies all look out to the ocean. Very quiet at night in the entire area. Nice pool and pool area.

Hotel with a beautiful veiw of the ocean, it has been renovated recently it looks like. Loved sitting on our balcony and looking at the ocean, sits across the street from the beach. Nice selection for breakfast, the staff was a pleasure to talk to. Enjoyed talking to the owner who's a fellow Veteran, he is there most days working along side the staff. Cute little pool too. Including pics of pool, veiw from bacony, beach from above and bridge to the main land you drive across getting to hotel.

Hotel rooms all have balconies facing the ocean. Hotel is on the water so you're not looking over other buildings or around corners to see the ocean. Do suggest getting a room on the second or better yet, the third floor for maximum balcony enjoyment. Rooms are spacious and clean. Beds are very comfortable and the staff is excellent. Nice pool and very ample parking. This area is very quiet and safe feeling. Short drive to the old town st Augustine, but far enough away where you're not caught up in the hustle bustle.

Third floor rooms have an excellent view of the ocean from a private balcony. The rooms are cute with unique furnishings. The continental breakfast from 8-10 helped keep our budget under control. The walk to the beach is short and easy. The pool is small but does the job when you need to cool off. The owner is friendly and on-site. You don't find too many gems like this anymore.

Everything! The balcony, the shower, the location, the coffee, the pool! I was stunned to see an actual coffee decanter and brew machine during breakfast. I slept under the full moon to the sound of the Atlantic waves with the sliding glass door open during the night. Unforgettable stay.

Beautiful old historic inn in the centre of the old part of the city, beautiful to look at from outside and retained all its wonderful character inside. I believe it’s the 7th oldest property in St Augustine. Loved the little lounge area and the free coffee and cookies which saved us on a night when we didn’t want to go out. We were in the smallest room but was perfect for us with a lovely bed and clean bathroom with bath and shower. Breakfast was really tasty and plentiful served with juice and coffee or tea and morning staff were lovely. We loved the hotel and wish we’d had a few more nights, will definitely stay there again if we return. Thank you Casa De Solana for a wonderful stay

I couldn’t say enough nice things about the staff. From John who helped us check in, and chatted with us every morning at breakfast, to Jenny who cooked us the BEST breakfasts daily, I felt well taken care of. We had booked the property under the recommendation of a cousin. He said it was centrally located to pretty much everything in town. The room & property had charm & was very spacious. Loved the AC keeping us nice & cool from the grueling heat outside. It’s the EXTRA little touches that made our stay GREAT! We will definitely be back again! Thanks to everyone who helped make our 1st trip back to St.Augustine as adults, a memorable one!

This BNB was so cute! The building is definitely old but very charming. The room we stayed in was quiet, really spacious, had a balcony and it’s own bathroom. The bed was very comfortable! Check in and out was easy. The next morning, we had a lovely breakfast prepared for us in their dining room. There is no onsite parking but they also made that easy- they give you a pass for street parking and the BNB is just a few minutes away in any direction from a good parking spot. The staff we saw was nice and accommodating. Do yourself a favor and take plenty of photos in their courtyard!

This property is on one of the most beautiful streets in all of St. Augustine. You walk out of the beautiful private courtyard onto a cobblestone street filled with little museums, amazing little art galleries, old Spanish architecture, and amazing food. Right by town square and less than a 3 minute walk to St. George street where all the attractions of downtown are. The B&B have free bikes for guests to use, beautiful quaint rooms, and the breakfast is very tasty. It was so quiet that my wife and I thought we were the only people there. Our stay was one to remember. I highly recommend the Casa de Solana.

Absolutely wonderful place to stay in every way!! The best complimentary breakfast we've ever had anywhere we've stayed. Fresh homemade muffins, parfaits, smoothies, eggs, potatoes, waffles, etc. They make different food daily and were willing to accommodate dietary restrictions by making scrambled eggs for me when the egg dish included bacon. The complimentary wine & homemade cookies in the afternoon was also a lovely bonus. Exceptional staff in every way!! The best location possible if you want to walk everywhere. We all enjoyed hanging out in the courtyard in the evenings. If we ever visit St Augustine again, this will be the place we stay.

Overall we enjoyed our stay! Our room was spacious, the bed was comfy, and there is a good size mini fridge available for use. The hotel is pet friendly and the room we were in could easily fit a crate if needed. The lobby area is nice, with ample seating and space to gather with friends and family throughout the day. The breakfast was limited and the first morning the fruit was mostly rotten so we were not super impressed by the options available. The pool has potential, but needs more shade, especially as the pool temp was very warm (understandable in FL summer) and there are only two very small umbrellas available for use at the outside hightop tables. Daily parking fee ($20) was a bit unreasonable being that the hotel location is not exactly close to the downtown area, but there is ample parking available so we never had an issue with getting a space.

Stayed here with my wife and kids 6/22 to 6/25/25. Everyone working at the hotel was very nice and friendly. We originally got (1) room but after the first night my daughter was asking why we didn’t get (2) rooms. They got us in a 2nd room the next morning and even right beside the room we already had, 107 and 105. Rooms were super clean and comfortable, pool was nice and breakfast was good. Only about a 15 minute ride to the beach and about a 1/2 mile from downtown. We had a great time and wouldn’t stay anywhere else if we returned to Saint Augustine again. I’d rate our stay a 9.2 out of 10.

The breakfast included was satisfactory but the staff needs to replenish food items at a faster pace. Many time items will run out such as coffee, milk, bagels, yogurt, oatmeal, etc. The staff was nice and always brough the missing items but we should not have to ask. The location was convenient to the historical district and walkable. Poll and jacuzzi area are very nice and well mantained with pool towels provided. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful.

The pool was really big and rectangle. Good for swimming. The staff was very pleasant. The breakfast was hearty and stocked well.. Sausage, eggs, waffles, fresh fruit, and loads more. Nice seating area too.

We didn't care there was no pool, and while it seemed odd to pay for parking, it was soon obvious that parking anywhere in or near the historic district is impossible. Our room 241 was large, comfortable and incredibly clean! New shower that was fun to use. Trolley tickets can be bought at desk and the stop is right before the motel. Best of all, there is an outdoor seating area for about 20 on the roof above office that is soooo relaxing to just sit and look over the marina and the Bridge of Lions. If you want a comfy bar or to eat in a beautiful outdoor area, OC White's is about 50 feet away! Great food, we ate there several times. The fort is a quick 15 minutes walk, so leave your car and explore. We will definitely stay here again!

I can’t say enough great things about this gem of a hotel! From the staff, ease of check in, being able to park early and walk to absolutely everything made our trip spectacular!!! The rooms are comfy and spacious; newly remodeled with a Keurig big tv and all you need! A sparkling clean salt water pool was such a bonus too in the heat of summer! Thank you for taking such great care of us!

Love the location, the friendly and inviting staff, and how safe it felt. The swimming pool was open 24/7 and that was awesome since it was very hot outside once you returned from seeing the beautiful town it was nice to go in and refresh yourself. Also, the front desk was very helpful in the places I needed to visit during my short stay.

I love staying here every time I'm in St Augustine! The staff are wonderful and even upgraded my room, the location is perfect,as it's walking distance to everything, the pool is clean and refreshing, the rooms are always spotless and the view of the harbor is beautiful. Will always stay here when I visit.

We really enjoyed the area and the views in the morning, and it was within walking distance of everything and the pool with awesome, thank you for allowing pets and everyone that works there is fantastic thank you for everything.

Close to trolley stop. Lady at checking was very friendly and helpful telling us about St Augustine. Room was efficient and clean. Fresh towels every day. No pool or breakfast but restaurants within walking distance. I felt safe and there were security cameras all over. Water pressure in shower was amazing and water was very hot. Hotel was quiet. I would stay there again.

The price for the room was very reasonable. Especially when compared to any other hotel this close to the historic district. We were just a hop, skip, and a jump away from the Fort, Ripley's, St.George where all the shops are located, really a great location for the price. The room was very clean and well maintained. Our room was right on the road, probably the only downside as the traffic would start fairly early but the noise level really wasn't too bad. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, we added a night and they made it very easy to do this. Would most definitely recommend staying here especially if you're on a budget like we were. Also some really nice local shops along the walk towards the historic district. One being a very good ice cream shop and another being an excellent bakery. There is also a convenient store a block or so up the road that has most anything you could need for your stay.

This place may not look like a lot from the outside and it is an old property BUT we love it. Very clean and updated. Awesome water pressure and they have wall pumps for shampoo and soap in the shower and a separate one for the sink. Staff was super friendly and helpful. We we’re going to get the trolly but it was so close to downtown we didn’t need to. I’m not much of a walker but it’s just a few blocks and there are fun shops along the way. We walked to downtown each day we were there. The bakery and ice shop next to them are both YUMMY! We will be using this place far any future trips to St Augustine.

The staff was extremely friendly and I was more than impressed with how clean the property and room was! Parking was no issue at all. Last time I stayed in St Augustine I ended parking the city garage because it was way cheaper than the hotels and they are all valet. This was nice to have my vehicle available at my door if needed, but I walked everywhere because the Economy Inn was so close to it all. Great Pizza shop directly next door that has live music. I hate to give a great review here because I do not want this place getting discovered and keep it for myself!

I love the place. It was exactly what I was looking for: a comfortable place to spend the night, as I'm the one who likes to be out exploring. The location and the parking included were amazing. It is close to every place. People were so nice to us. The rooms are sufficient for a night's stay, featuring good air conditioning, a comfortable bed, and a smart TV. I would only suggest having a better cleaning of the rooms - I didn't think the bathroom was cleaned properly (behind the door and around the toilet). I highly recommend that place for a weekend getaway to St Augustine.

This property is pet friendly and seems to allow pets everywhere inside the hotel - however your pet is not allowed on the pool deck which will exclude you (with your pet) from lounging on the pool deck, having cocktails in this area, and from the restaurant there / happy hour by the pool. I have a five pound dog who was sitting on my lap on a lounge chair and was told by the towel guy I had to leave the pool deck. There is a sign but I didn't see it since I came in from the beach. So be advised you and your dog will have to sit outside the pool deck while your kids are in the pool.

My daughter and i enjoyed our whole stay! The pool, ocean, room and facilities were great! Even though it was a packed house, we still were able to enjoy ourselves and have a great weekend. The pool area was our favorite..... pool side drinks and pool side lunch, pool toys for the kids.

We stayed here while exploring the St. Augustine area. We arrived earlier than check in time. So, the front desk staff kindly stored our luggage while we picked up a trolley directly in front of the hotel. It took us to the Hop On/Hop Off starting location downtown. After a wonderful day exploring, we returned to the hotel and our room was ready. Beautiful deck view of the ocean, pool, and courtyard grounds. The pool is huge with plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas and a bar area. Drinks and lunch can be brought to you at the pool. There is beach access and beach chairs available on the beach area but there is about a five foot drop in the sand just before you reach the water. The hotel has a wonderful hot breakfast buffet included. There is a gift shop by the lobby, a Starbucks, and an area to purchase light snacks and beverages. Yoga is offered in the mornings by the beach. There are many seating areas with fire pits in the courtyard with a wonderful view of the ocean. This hotel was a great choice for our stay. Note: We had shuttled from the airport but there is a valet parking fee if you drive to the hotel.

Amazing stay at Embassy Suites, St Augustine Beach. The service and staff at the hotel are really fantastic. From initial valet check- in through departure- very friendly, helpful and professional. The pool and pool/beach staff are excellent, and the pool bar wonderful. Beach is beautiful - wide and great for walking and relaxing. We really enjoyed the bar and bartenders - every night. The happy hour is great - but staying after, having dinner at the bar and socializing with the bar tenders as they made their signature drinks is a real treat. The food from the restaurant is as good as any top restaurant. We usually go to Miami, Key’s or Ft Myers area and really loved our first visit to St Augustine - we will definitely be back !

ROOM: It was great for our family of 4. The beds and pillows were comfortable. We like having a kitchenette. We enjoyed the balcony! POOL: We loved the pool! It was huge and always the perfect temp! The pool side service was incredible!! BEACH: I liked that there were guys at the beach who placed the chairs and umbrella for us.

We spent NYE with family (5 adults, 3 rooms). The inn is in an excellent location on Cedar Street, right behind the Lightner Museum. We've stayed at a number of B&Bs in St Augustine and would return to Penny Farthing. We had the Cambridge (king bed with electric fireplace), Windsor (king bed and mini kitchen), and the Victoria Bedchamber (queen bed and balcony). The Victoria has private access to the large upstairs porch on the front of the house. It's a lovely place to sip a glass of wine (complimentary during 4-6p happy hour). The other 2 rooms were behind the main house on the bottom floor with direct access to a nice porch with tables and chairs. The Windsor was probably the nicest of the 3 rooms but I loved having the porch on the Victoria. Breakfast was delicious and is served 8:30a-9:30a. This is one of the few, if not only, B&Bs that allows a 1 nght stay, which is often what we're looking for since we only live about an hour away and like to get away for a night now and then. I hope they keep that option available! If you need bathroom counter space, skip the Victoria as there isn't any. There's a small table and a small shelf above the sink. It was fine for us but for a longer stay, I'd need a little more space.

This is a perfect location. Two blocks from Starbucks (although the coffee at the inn is excellent), and only a short walk to the alley full of shops, live music, and numerous restaurants to choose from. The staff here is incredibly nice and helpful from the second you check in, to the absolutely terrific breakfast-made hot while you wait. I’m celiac and they even made me gluten free toast the first day and gluten free French toast the second day-what a treat! We stayed in the Buckingham which was a very large room with a big sitting area and a very comfortable queen size bed. Only downfall for me with the bed was my bed hog husband. I’d shoot for a king bedded room next time (which they have five of). Nice touches in the room-you need to remember that you are in a bed and breakfast-not a hotel-so it’s going to come with its own personal charm. Very nice covered patio outside our room which I would have liked to enjoy but was so busy seeing all the walkable sights around me, didn’t get a chance too. The patio even comes with “off” spray and citronella candles for those pesky summer mosquitos-good thinking. I wish this young couple venturing out on the journey of hotel/airbnb management all the best!

I never leave reviews, but wanted to add something for anyone who's like me and debates over a booking for way too long based on the 3 negative reviews, even when the other 97 are positive. If you're considering booking here, just do it! The location couldn't be more convenient for walking around downtown St. Augustine. I felt safe outside alone at night, especially since it's so close to the well-lit and populated Lightner Museum. The building is 130 years old, which I loved because I enjoy the character of old buildings, but go in to it with those expectations and don't book if you're looking for a shiny and new hotel-like experience. The parking was a struggle, but that's due to work going on in a nearby property and the staff were very helpful with assisting in any challenges. That brings me to the biggest reason I would recommend staying here - the people! The staff was kind, welcoming and accommodating, and the guests created such a nice culture where everyone greeted each other and would get to know strangers over breakfast. Would love to stay here again and would recommend it to friends anytime!

Great bed and breakfast in the perfect location! Our "home" was the treehouse with its own little balcony, It is configured a bit odd but it worked in a way that it made the most of the space. The breakfast was excellent- tasty and a nice variety. One of the highlights was the happy hour from 4-5pm. There was wine and some nibbles (cake, cookies). Many of the fellow guests gathered on the back porch drinking their wine and eating their cookies or cake. It was a great gathering place and the perfect way to meet our fellow travelers. The location was fantastic- a quick walk to the museums and "ole St Augustine". We were able to park the car off the street and walk. Our host had spot-on suggestions for dinner and kept our desires in mind (She didn't just suggest any old place but asked what we were interested in) The Penny Farthing is an old Victorian so has some "age" showing but everything was clean and in working order. We would definitely return and would recommend it to anyone.

We enjoyed our stay. Everything in the room seemed fresh and new. The pool is lovely towels are provided. Very walk-able to historic district. Trolley tours and Star stop right in front of hotel. Restaurants and cafes right next door, but grab and go breakfast available in lobby along with fresh brewed coffee. Rooms have coffee makers also. I great experience!

Was incredibly impressed with the entire trip. The room and amenities were more than I expected for the price! The pool was nice and location was perfect for enjoying the city.

The outside bar was not open on Friday but pool was warm and comfortable. We had great visit. Wish you had shuttle to the parks but Uber was fine.

From start to finish everything was fantastic! The location is perfect and everything is walking distance including the museums, wineries, and distilleries! The valet parking was a great touch to have and the guys working are very fast and also kept our truck out of the sun in the garage by request (we have a surf board and didn’t want the wax to melt everywhere)not to mention parking/valet was very well priced compared to other hotels we have stayed at! The room was very clean and very spacious offering a small kitchen with cookware we also had a pretty view over the water. Now let me brag about “Michelle”! Michelle is a genuine gem at this place! From checking in to the end of check out. Anytime we would pass through she would engage in conversation with us and we absolutely adored her! My boyfriend and I also enjoyed the pool and warming fire pit that is located by the dock on the water! Pool was heated so was a bonus! The entire hotel staff were amazingly friendly as well. We highly recommend this spot for families or couples such as ourselves.

Hotel is very nice, clean and quiet. Breakfast buffet was okay but not great. Some of the staff were very friendly but some not very nice. I booked this place because of the heated pool that said in the description but the 2 days we were there pool was cold and we couldn’t use it. We ask about that and they said it is heated and supposed to be hot but it wasn’t. Very disappointed. Hotel location is very convenient, walkable to the historic district, very close.

We are a family of 4 and had a great time staying at the property. Loved the breakfast and the Wednesday happy hour with the meal, available board games were a plus! The other great thing about this hotel is that its within walking proximity of downtown, which is what we explored every day on foot. Friendly and accommodating staff, a big plus is that the trolley tour of St. Augustine also picks you up at the hotel (included in your ticket, and is important on a rainy day since we didn't have a car). We did take advantage of the pool only one day because it chilly the rest of the time, but it was all great!

This hotel was perfect location, my husband and I were there for Gavin Addcock's concert at the St Augustine Amphitheater. Super close to downtown, food, drinks, shops, venues. It was perfect. The breakfast was 10/10 also, fresh coffee with delicious creamer options (not like other hotels), fresh bagels w/ cream cheese, peanut butter, pancakes, over night oats, oatmeal with all the toppings you could ask for. They also had juice options. They had a great outdoor area for sitting and relaxing, the pool was great! Beds were comfortable, rooms clean, kitchen was great, and loved that it had a full size refrigerator. Overall this was a 10/10.

the property was in a good location for the price we wanted to pay and get to downtown as quick as possible. I loved our suite with a king in 1 room and couch/living space in the other. we were comfortable, it was clean, the pool was beautiful, the gym was well appointed and the breakfast was fantastic every day. Also, you now can login to Netflix and see the shows you like on your account and upon checking out, you are automatically logged out.

This was our first time staying at the Wescott House, and it’s easy to see why it has such an outstanding reputation. My fiancé and I had previously stayed at the Bayfront Marin House (the yellow house next door), but unfortunately, we were left underwhelmed and didn’t find the experience very warm or personable. We’re so glad we decided to give the Wescott House a try—it truly exceeded our expectations. Like many others have mentioned, the staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, and we felt genuinely cared for throughout our stay. Our room, the Alexandra, was spotless and beautifully appointed. My fiancé especially appreciated the convenient parking and spacious lot. We’ve already booked our return for December’s Nights of Lights and couldn’t be more excited. It feels like we’ve finally found our place in the Oldest City. Thank you for your exceptional hospitality—we look forward to making the Wescott House our go-to for all future visits to St. Augustine!

The moment we arrived, we were immersed in the delightfully historic decor and elegance of the Bayfront Westcott. Greeted by a friendly, professional, and helpful staff (including one young lady in training whose smile and assistance was heartwarming), we stayed in the Menendez Blue Room. The views were delightful, and the comfortable bed, bedding, and blackout drapes provided an amazing night sleep. Though the shower was very small and the internet patchy, the antique furnishings were both nostalgic and accommodating, and the five star breakfasts were over the top in both presentation and taste! The nightly hors d'oeuerves never disappointed, and as with breakfast, provided beautiful presentations and daily variety to please even the fussiest of palettes. The selection of seating in and outdoors made it easy to find privacy, or engage in friendly conversations with other guests, when dining or relaxing. We couldn't have asked for a better 70th birthday weekend getaway from our kids, and would definitely book again when visiting St. Augustine!

Bayfront Westcott, created memories of a lifetime what a fantastic Bed & breakfast. This was a birthday trip for my wife, I was looking for a place to do something different from our norm of a hotel city hotel. St. Augustine caught my attention and it did not dissapoint, what a charming city, historic, great food and cocktails and most of all the people. Our Room was 109 'Alexandria', breathtaking, warm and most of all relaxing, the marina view from our room was a sight to behold. What's more stunning than waking up to teh sun rise in the early morning and a sunset that just takes your breath away, my wife and I had a relaxing and memorable stay. We would like to shout out to Heidi, was personable, provided an experience that was world class and certainly memorable. Thank you, Bayfront Westcott and most of all St. Augustine!

This stay was the most wonderful experience. The friendliness of the staff was like no other stay. They just couldn’t do enough for you. Each breakfast was outstanding and the afternoon snack was good and fun to talk to other guests. The location was perfect. We didn’t need our car the whole stay, opting to use the trolley shuttle. (Do have to purchase a ticket. )The free parking lot was a short walk. The complimentary Festival of Lights tour was a nice bonus. We stayed in the Rachel room and enjoyed the comfortable bed and rain head shower. One more chair in the room would have been ideal but there just wasn’t any space. The outdoor furniture was comfortable and we ate outside most mornings. The views of the harbor was spectacular. We would definitely stay here again.

Possibly our favorite 2 day getaway, ever...I can't say enough about this place. It feels like you simply live in this beautiful home; there is almost no sign of it being a "business" at all....breakfast is outstanding and so filling that we never had to eat lunch...just delicious, unique, such a variety. The staff is amazing and friendly - again, it's like you just live in their home and feel so comfortable and welcome. The location is perfect - we never got back in our car once we parked. Walking distance to everything historic as well as all shopping and restaurants. The view from the relaxing wrap-around patio is lovely. There is not one single negative to our 48 hour stay. Will be returning and making this B&B our location of choice in St. Aug!

Pros - one of the cleanest hotels I’ve stayed at. Shower pressure was great and hot not Luke warm. Check in was quick. Staff nice. Hotel was not busy. Parking is very close and free. Terrace and pool over looking street which was neat. Free Cabanas around pool. Inside bar near pool also. Cons - can hear everything inside your room. Beds were comfortable but harder than I liked. Pool was on smaller side. Water in shower had weird smell.

Our 2 night stay was great. Jason at the front desk was delightful and hooked us up with a HUGE suite with a separate living room. The Terrace is a nice place to catch the sunrise. Pool is small but heated and was never packed. Plenty of comfortable sitting spaces around the pool. Room was spotless. Halls and common areas were always fresh and clean. Bar was always staffed. Good drinks at reasonable price with lovely flavored Lattes available for the AM. We didn’t get a chance eat at the hotel with so many other great options in the area The hotel is a nice walk across the bridge to the historic district and there is a service on site for a golf cart ride for a small fee. Also has shuttle service to the St. Augustine Amphitheater and this would be the perfect place to stay if coming for a concert. The elevator was acting up while we were there and would get stuck for a few minutes (probably 2-3) before the doors opening. My only reason for not giving a full 5 star rating and I’m sure they’ll get it fixed soon.

The Voco Hotel in St. Augustine is a luxurious, intimate boutique property, conveniently located just across the Bridge of Lions. It’s only a 3-minute drive to Historic St. Augustine and 5 minutes from the beach, offering the perfect balance between history and relaxation. Our experience was enhanced by Caleb at the front desk, who kindly upgraded our room due to our platinum status. We were thrilled when we stepped into our room, which was clean, spacious, and lived up to the Voco brand’s high standards. Additionally, Creig, the bartender, made our evening even more special by surprising us with champagne and offering to assist with anything we needed during our stay. The pool area was also a highlight, boasting a fantastic view that added to the overall ambiance. In short, I highly recommend the Voco Hotel if you’re visiting St. Augustine.

We did not take advantage of the breakfast they offered, but we enjoyed having coffee in the lobby to plan our day and check our emails in the mornings. All the staff members were personable. Our room was very comfortable and suited our needs. The fitness center was great. We walk a lot when we travel and found this to be a great location for us! We walked across the bridge to the old town area to sight see and have dinner, but we also enjoyed a few of the bars in the local area by the hotel for drinks after dinner. We will definitely take advantage of the pool area on a return trip. We were overall very pleased and would stay there again!

Nice quiet Hotel with a small rooftop pool, beer/wine bar and restaurant. The location is great, about a 20 minute walk to the historic district that has plenty of shops, bars, restaurants and museums. There's a small taco shop across the street and a pub next door. This hotel is a great option if you want to visit St. Augustine but don't want to deal with the traffic downtown. The staff was very friendly and the room was clean and ice cold (great added bonus for the florida summer heat). They also have a covered parking lot. Overall I had great experience for a low price and will definitely return for my next trip. Cannot recommend enough!

The rooms were just as lovely as pictured on the website. Very clean, super-soft bedding, fresh baked cookies, drinks and coffee available throughout the day. The high-end breakfast was a real treat. I never use the pool at hotels, but I couldn't resist using the lovely little pool at this inn. The staff made us feel at home and the other guests were very friendly. Even if The Kenwood wasn't in such a convenient spot for walking to the historic district and downtown I would still stay there again.

This was our first time to Saint Augustine Florida, and our first time in a Bed and Breakfast, and with so many to choose, I am so glad that we picked The Kenwood Inn. Pat and her employees were spot on with every detail possible. The Inn is in the perfect location so you can walk to pretty much everything, This Inn also has a pool and a koi pond which is in a very private setting. The breakfast they serve is over the top for the presentation and culinary experience. By the time you leave you will feel like you just made a new friend and not just an employee of some establishment. Thank you, Pat, for making our trip so memorable.

This was our second visit for our 52nd anniversary. We had been here 10 years ago. We had a lovely time and enjoyed the Bridge Suite. Comfortable bed & great shower in spacious rooms. Three-course gourmet breakfasts were amazing in the lovely porch setting… very relaxing. Owner/Host Pat was available for any need, any hour. We were able to walk most places we visited & to many restaurants close by. For the oldest historic B&B in St Augustine, accomodations were excellent. Parking close by & we enjoyed the relaxing pool. Enjoyed a sunset cruise on the bay. We will be back.

We came in on a Tuesday for my husband's 70th birthday and Pat gave us an upgrade to a 2-room suite. Not only that, but there were two TV's which came in handy. The gourmet breakfasts on the patio were out of this world and we loved meeting Kenzie, Pat's wonderful dog. There is a coy pond and we used the salt water swimming pool for a bit. The wine and cookies in the early evening were a great treat as well.

We had a wonderful time at the Kenwood Inn! Pat and the team here provide excellent service. Breakfast was delicious every morning and truly gourmet. We loved that they had a pool, it was wonderful with the warmer weather and a great place to relax. The outdoor seating area is beautiful and the perfect place to sit and relax. Thank you for a great long weekend!

I was disappointed that all the pool umbrellas were broken. The shaded alcove by the pool had wasps. I told the woman working the front desk the first day and it still was the same on the fourth day. That was very disappointing. Darlene at the bar was very attentive and pleasant. The rooms were very clean.

The room was great. I was surprised at how well the shampoo and conditioner was. I usually use my own but I loved the stuff in the room. Kids loved the pool and free cookies. Not too bad of a walk to the downtown area.

If you are visiting St. Augustine and are looking for convenient and exceptionally clean accommodations, look no further than this hotel. We were there for three nights and from check in until departure we couldn't have asked for better service. The rooms are comfortable and clean and housekeeping was provided every day. There is a breakfast buffet and the highlight of the morning was watching Joe, the buffet manager operate so efficiently keeping the tables cleared, the buffet stocked and coffee refilled in lightning speed and always with a smile. The front desk staff was friendly and the convenience of purchasing tickets for the Old Town Trolley at the hotel was a plus. There is a trolley stop across the street from the hotel so that was another plus. Definitely a positive experience for our group of veterans.

Great location, service and accommodations for a reasonable price. Check in was a breeze, front desk staff were informative, friendly and accommodating. Rooms were ready at check in, very neat and clean. There are several reviews complaining about lack of hot water. We did not find this to be the case. Our friends even commented that the water in their room was actually too hot. While we did not eat in the hotel restaurant, the bar was a great meeting place offering well made cocktails and conversation. Hotel is in a very walkable location convenient to restaurants, hop on hop off and historic downtown St Augustine. If you are looking for a clean, pet friendly hotel, in a good location, great staff, at a reasonable price, DoubleTree is the one for you.
