Swim-up Rooms & Private Pools in Stresa

Beautiful villa inside and out. We really enjoyed the outdoor pool (ideal size) & out door bbq/pizza oven

This is a luxury hotel in every sense of the word. We had a lake view room on the top floor which was beautiful. The room and bathroom were a really good size and the hotel itself is like stepping back in time. We used the outdoor pool which has a lovely bar/restaurant next to it, as well as the indoor pool with superb spa rooms (sauna/steam room, etc). One of the best indoor pools I've experienced. Gym was great too if that's your thing. Will definitely return.

The building and grounds are extraordinary. The spa and indoor pool are very luxurious and a nice option when the weather doesn't allow for using the outdoor pool. The staff had very kindly provided additional softer pillows.

Gorgeous charming hotel in a great location. Beautifully remodeled bathroom. Fantastic balcony overlooking Lago Maggiore. Staff was super and the spa/pools were amazing. Salt water pool was very enjoyable. The Hemmingway bar was a classic!

The breakfast Buffet was exceptional, the pool outstanding, the pool restaurant relaxed, exactly what one would want. The main restaurant deserves Michelin stars.

Well we are on a 6 week tour on our motorcycle and we chose our hotels as we go from place to place. We were in Brig Switzerland when we chose the Hotel Boston Stresa what a great find this was the place is really nicely decorated very clean and bright. The staff are very helpful and nothing seems to much trouble if you need something. The bedrooms are well appointed and of a good size with balconies. We didn't have breakfast here as we are retired and to be honest we don't normally get up until 9-30 ISH so we normally eat around 11am. The hotel has underground parking which for us was great as we are touring on our motorcycle it costs 8 euros a day and it's safe and secure. The hotel is 2 mins walk from the lake front of Maggiore and 10 mins walk into the main shopping and eating areas. You can get ferries to the islands on the lake and there are plenty of places to eat out lakeside. The hotel is also only 10 mins walk from the railway station and a Conad Supermarket so all in all this is a great place to stay.We will recommend this to our friends and family if they come to Italy. We had a great time here and would certainly stay here again if coming to Maggiore.

I really enjoyed my stay here. I was made very welcome by the lady on reception in the mornings. She gave me advice on how to spend my time in Stresa and I fell that she helped me get the most out of my time there. The hotel is a short walk from the train station, and it's downhill. It's not a bad hill and I coped ok taking my suitcase up, but elderly people may prefer to opt for a taxi. My room was nice and clean and I had the things I needed. The bed was very comfortable and it was easy to sleep with the air conditioning regulating the temperature. The balcony gave me a view of the mountain and lake. The breakfast was a good start to the day. I saw reviews complaining about the coffee being in an urn. However, you can ask for a machine coffee and contrary to other reviews, the good coffee isn't only reserved for Italians. It's just that the nice lady who serves breakfast only speaks Italian.

We found this hotel while searching for somewhere to stay on Lake Maggiore. We were in Brig in Switzerland at the time and had been looking on the internet for a hotel near the lake in Stresa. We booked this hotel and what a great hotel it is, it's beautifully decorated it has nice sized comfortable rooms with balconies and it's 2 minutes walk from the lake and front of Stresa. The big bonus for us was that it also had underground parking which was great for us as we were are on a 6 week touring holiday on our Motorcycle. The staff at this hotel are so helpful and pleasant to talk to it just makes the stay even better. We will definitely recommend this Hotel to our friends if there thinking of coming to lake Maggiore everything about it was perfect for us just a great place to stay.

Very impressed with this hotel. Had a spacious second floor room with a wide balcony in the new part (travelled with TUI) and honestly couldn't fault anything about our room - fridge was an unexpected bonus - or the public areas. I can only echo previous reviews about the convenient location, handy for the centre, station and ferries, but being set back from the front, away from the traffic. Really appreciated the undertanding chambermaid who silently handed me fresh towels and stocks of loo paper at the bedroom door so my (convalescent) husband could sleep on undisturbed. In fact all the staff were so helpful and friendly. We also enjoyed a nightcap in the bar when welcoming the owners' dog Claus back from his evening walk!

Our second stay at this hotel (first was 2022). Happy to say it did not disappoint. Hotel has been extended since then, with a much bigger breakfast room (with outside seating option now). Great location, only 150m from lake shore. Most (but not all) rooms have a view of the lake. Ours was on the top (4th) floor, facing the lake, with a balcony (very small, but usable for two people). Good-sized room. Adequate bathroom. Shower cubicle small for me - I'm over 6 foot tall - and nowhere to put your shower gel - but we coped. All clean and functional. Air conditioning effective and quiet. Very welcome refrigerator and kettle in our room (405). Staff very pleasant and helpful. Good breakfast.

Don’t be put off by the uninspiring outside appearance of this hotel, it is really nice inside, very clean and well cared for, nice buffet breakfast, nice warm pool to relax in, almost on the waterfront where the boats go back and forth to the Borromean islands, and a relaxing walk into town along the gardens hugging the lake. Really pleasant and helpful staff throughout the hotel.

The location is perfect. It is right next to the lake and the islands. The ferry is just outside the hotel. The room was spacious with an outside space. The swimming pool is a nice touch. The breakfast was very good. We only spent a night here but were very happy with our choice. The hotel is a pleasant 20 minute walk from the centre of Stresa. There is free parking.

It was well located for transport with an excellent restaurant nearby. It was quiet and the pool was a joy to relax in. The staff were really helpful

A friendly hotel, very relaxed, short walk to pier for boats to Borromen Islands and other lake locations. Large rooms with ensuite bathrooms, great views & balconies. Indoor pool, lounge, bar and excellent breakfast room. The walk into Stresa is pleasant waterside paved path, 20-30 minutes duration. The majority of restaurants are in Stresa, but the Lidovolante Café does offer a day and evening menu. The Lido Café also does snacks & pizza. However, Daniels & Marconi waterside restaurants are only 10-15 minutes on the way to Stresa.

Everything Myself and my friend both agreed that this was the best hostel we have stayed at in the 3 months of traveling across Europe so far! The location is awesome with a short walk or drive to a swim and a beer by the lake Staff were very friendly, Kitchen was clean, spacious and up to date. The beds and bathroom were well kept and on expectations for hostel accommodation And it has a pool!! The value for money you get from this hostel is really 10/10! We would stay again in a heartbeat

Very kind staff!!!! Extremely beautiful location... Enjoyed the sunset and sunrise everyday. unfortunately couldn't try the pool because there was a party but it seems to be also very clean an nice. shared sitting room and kitchen were also not bad (spent much time there working on my laptop)... the breakfast was also very simple but kind of fine for that price... it can be a little bit hard for people with no car. parking spots were always available... So I am coming with my friends again 100%

The breakfast had a variety of things to choose from and the staff were so friendly and nice. The pool was clean and the view from there is just amazing.

It was incredible value for money! Pool, hge garden and chill space, stunning lake view from the room, comfy bed, great breakfast and helpful staff!

Magnificent view, privacy despite it being a hostel, delicious breakfast, cleanliness and easy access. The receptionist is always friendly and polite, responsive within minutes. There is also a well equipped kitchen and a lounge room with a petite balcony. Spacious territory, a pool and chill zone outside.

2 bedroom apartment was bigger and better than we expect. Great location in centrum near trainstation and lake. 2 balconys with a nice views to lake and mountains. Friendly staff.
