Beautiful room, and the private pool was amazing

The beach was nice and long, perfect for long walks. Lots of sun beds, nice beach bar. The food in the restaurant was super nice as well as good priced. Staff was amazing! The pool was one of the best pools I've seen. Perfect for both adults and children. Lots of toys for children to play with. Great massage place just at the beach.

The complex is spacious and well maintained. Everything is very clean, the pool area, the restaurant, the rooms. Our deluxe bungalow was large, clean and equipped with everything. AC ran quietly and was powerful. Room service was an artist and made art out of flowers and towels :) The beach is deserted, clean, slopes flat. You can walk for miles without meeting a human being. Every guest finds a sunbed with umbrella, there are enough. The staff is totally friendly and helpful. A really nice hotel to relax and unwind.

The villa is very comfortable, has plenty of outdoor space where you can relax and the private pool is a great add on! Also, it was super clean. The location is amazing. It's very private and far from tourist packed areas - it really helps to disconnect and relax. The restaurant offers a lot of great local food! The owners have been very nice to us and are always available to help!

We liked everything, starting from the moment of check-in. It was very quiet and soothing, just what we wanted from our holiday in Thailand. The staff were very kind and attentive to all of our wishes and requests. Will definitely return for a longer stay in the future as the island is a great place to relax and unwind from a busy city life. The pool at the villa was perfect for us. Recommended for both families and couples!

Loved our short holiday here! Our villa was very close to the beach, just a few meters away. The beach itself is more than 15kms long and there are very few people even during the busy season. The water was calm with no waves and the weather was perfect, sunshine with light sea breeze and few clouds. We also loved the rooms as they seemed to be even more spacious compared to the pictures and we even enjoyed a nicely prepared dinner by the local chef during the evening in the dining room.

Second time staying at Sentido. Had a pool access room. The breakfast is amazing and having dinner at the beach cafes is good. We also had dinner at the Thai restaurant and Italian restaurant in the resort.

The hotel was gorgeous and peaceful. I had a great time just relaxing and playing in my private pool. The food was good, I thought the Thai restaurant was ok, nothing special though. The Italian restaurant was really good and a lot to choose from on the menu.

We had a swim up pool room and it was well worth it. So nice to walk out of your room and straight into the pool !! Our room was about 50 metres walk to the beach through the resort which was amazing. The beach area has such a relaxed feel. It was so relaxing. We didn't want to leave !! On the beach are multiple local food and bar options. The local people were so nice with no pressure or stress. We will be back.

Our stay was an absolute delight. We booked on Expedia with no expectation and were very surprised when we arrived. The room was very spacious with a very comfortable king bed and swim out pool. Tip: eat at the local restaraunts on the beach because they have amazing seafood for very reasonable prices.

There's not much negative to say about the hotel. It's new, rooms are very comfortable, clean. We had a room with pool access though no sun hit the pool throughout the day - I'm assuming you can ask for a room on the other side of the resort which would be more sunny. The rooms were a bit damp but that's the Thai climate so nothing the hotel can influence. The breakfast buffet was great, the beach is breathtaking, the pool look great. The place is secluded and far from the town but if you're looking to just stay at the resort, it's a beautiful place to relax and recharge.

Really welcoming staff, who were very helpful and forgiving of the mess made by our kids! There is good space for children to run around and explore, and a stunning beach with good waves for swimming. Food was good, staff were really helpful. Pool is shaded most of the day.

Cousin resort was a wonderful, low key holiday. It was basic, clean, quiet and had an attentive family taking care of the property/our needs. Access to both a pool and a beach with plenty of beach chairs was perfect with kids. We also enjoyed the island for Songkran.

Good location, as there are many shops and restaurants nearby, a large market 2 minutes away. Rooms and towels very clean. Breakfast coffees are different and good, you can buy more, as well as breakfast. Pool ok. Our room had a balcony facing the courtyard and was quiet. We stayed at this hotel for the second time.

It is the perfect place for a relaxed stay: the bungalows are simply equipped but offer everything you need. In the evening everything is quiet after 9pm, however there were very few guests during our stay so the beach bar closed sometimes very early. As the bar far enough from the bungalows you never get disturbed by noises or music. The beach is one of the most beautiful we know with natural shadow from big trees. There was always a fresh wind in December (2022) and the evenings were quite cool so that we were happy about our pullovers and jackets. The personnel is always extremely friendly and has always taken into account special wishes for food and bbq. The cooking skills of the kitchen are ok but not great though, e.g. very dry meat when it’s grilled and the tastes of the dishes are a bit boring. We usually went on foot to Hapla Beach which has a fantastic cuisine. The breakfast is very good though and even offers rice soup.

If you love nature & not into busy touristy areas, this is the place for you. The island is pristine. The resort was well maintained, clean & quiet. Staff and the locals were extremely nice. I would love to go back.

We liked everything, the facilities that was heavenly you can even see monitor lizard, beautiful birds, white squirrels, tiny crabs; rooms, breakfast, late arrival snacks (they can just consider to make it vegetarian for everyone) the location that it was quite and peaceful that we felt happy to choose here.

Masterbedroom mit extra großem Whirlpool mit Sicht aufs Meer.neben Küche , Eßzimmer, Wohnzimmer, extra Toilette, Haushaltsraum mit Waschmaschine Trockner etc. war alles großzügig ausgestattet. Großer Privatpool zzgl zu dem 3m tiefen !!Hauptpool. Haushälterin die für Reinigung inkl Wäschewaschen , bügeln und auch unsere täglichen Tellerchen mit frischem Obst zuständig war..inkl. Sehr freundliche russische Eigentümer mit tollen Angestellten. Rundherum TOP!! Man sollte ein Auto oder Roller zur Verfügung haben um versch Restaurant zB das Siam testen zu können.Frühstück wurde nach Wunsch zubereitet.

Wir hatten eine Villa mit zwei Schlafzimmern und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Villa ist für thailändische Verhältnisse top und sauber. Man darf aber keinen Luxus erwarten. Es ist zwar was abseits, zum Strand 15 Minuten mit Kindern, aber dafür hat man Ruhe. Man könnte auch ein Taxi nehmen, die überall stehen oder einen Roller mieten. 2 Supermärkte sind direkt in der Nähe. Rundum hatten wir eine schöne Zeit.

Trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Städningen av rummet var inte optimal men personalen var hjälpsam vid önskemål. Frukosten var okej. Kan gärna bo där igen.

We had family vacation at Outrigger Khao Lak Beach Resort in June 2025. From the moment we arrived, everything met our expectations. We stayed in a garden room, which was beautifully maintained, peaceful, and just a short stroll from both the pool and the beach. The pool area is one of the highlights — spacious, clean. The beachfront location is stunning. The sunsets were breathtaking, and the beach was always clean and uncrowded. The resort feels like a true tropical escape. The Wi-Fi throughout the property was excellent, even in the room and by the pool! A huge thank you to the restaurant team for their outstanding service and kindness (we had a full board). Special recognition to Jam, Aom, Mew, Konee, and Ohm — they made every meal a pleasure with their warm smiles and attentiveness. The food was consistently delicious with a good variety for all tastes. Overall, this resort combines beautiful nature, comfort, excellent service. We would definitely recommend Outrigger Khao Lak Beach Resort to families or anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway.

Our stay was excellent. We stayed 6 nights with 3 kids. The room was very comfortable and clean. The pool is great and they also have a shallow pool for toddlers. The pool is also very close to the beach so you can walk from one to the other easily with kids. Prices of foods and drinks are reasonable for this kind of resort. The breakfast buffet was very good - it caters to all types of diets, including picky kids :-)

Au, Shane, Tum, Baw, Pal and every single staff of them were just amazing, super helpful and always smiling at the customers. We are a family of 5 (parents with 15y, 13y & 9y). I loved how clean is the room and good space of the resort. Pool time and beach walks were our favorites, it would have been more fun if they had a slide and a deeper pool, but it still amazing.

This hotel is perfect in every way, we had 3 swim up rooms for a family of 6 and could not fault a single thing, the staff, the facilities everything was just fantastic. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would love ro return.

Great value for money. Rooms are pretty big and nicely decorated. Pool access from room is a plus. Almost like having a private pool. Location is great - beach is beautiful and calm, but has a lot of beach bars and beach massage parlors. Thai restaurant is very good.

The hotel is beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. We had a swim up room which was definitely worth upgrading too. Room was spacious and modern with one of the comfiest beds we has ever slept in. All the food and beverages we had were of good quality. However our only complaint is the price of food which can be 3 times as much as local restaurants. The staff were all so friendly and helpful nothing ever seemed too much. Would definitely return to this hotel.

The hotel is beautiful and very clean. The pool area was very slippery, felt unsafe every time we stepped out of the pool. Not very convenient for families with babies. No child pool, and the kids club is very small leaving the kids bored. There wasn’t a lot near the hotel you have to take a taxi to the town , 20 min drive usually 400 baht a direction , so 800 both ways. The breakfast was nice addition. Not much alternatives in the area. The beach restaurants only open at 10:00. Also the rooms with pool access really to for family with baby/infants you have to always keep an eye out for them.

Wonderful resort with the kindest staff, special thanks to Honey in kids club who was so warm and welcoming and made a special point of saying hello to our daughter whenever she saw her around the resort. Right on a lovely beach with great restaurants either side. We stayed in a pool access room which we would highly recommend, breakfast was brilliant!

The rooms were fabulous, loved the pool areas and the swim up bar. Although I did not have children, I think the facilities and games for the kids was great. Loved the gym, very large and enjoyed the yoga class and aqua aerobics.

I booked the pool access room and it was perfect for relaxing and taking beautiful photos by the pool. The food was really tasty, lots of fun activities to do, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. I’d definitely come back again!

Absolutely beautiful resort from our pool access room, to the beautiful tropical grounds, the amazing food in the resturant and the friendly staff who always greet you with a smile. Beautiful large infinity pool down near the beach was lovely. Very quiet resort adults only. Amazing small resturants and massage out on the beach if other options are wanted to try.

I came for 2 nights ended up staying 8; clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff; not an extensive but cozy, clean and exclusive enough beach; eco-friendly property. This is my second review as I kept extending my stay; I can only say good things about this place. Restaurant staff is so kind and attentive, I will miss their smiling faces.The pool is nice and well cared. I stayed in one of the round structure two floor huts, on the upper floor; each four them also share a pool, separate from the main pool. I loved my room and its lovely architecture. Bangsak is 16 minutes away by taxi from Khoa Lak center; which makes it even more quiet. I liked the peaceful atmosphere and the beach sunsets.

Overall, we enjoyed our time at Bangsak Village. Although the staff had limited English at times, they were friendly and came alive when we used a translator app. The outlook onto the pool and being very close to the beach was great (we upgraded to the Chalet room and stayed in Room 101, which is the closest to the beach). It was relaxing lounging in the pool as you could see the outlook of the sea whilst being in the pool. A favourite was having a daily massage, which was well priced (400 baht for an hour), and we could charge it to our room. Thus, we didn't need cash to pay each time - very convenient. We chose the “Alovera” (Aloe Vera) massage as it had a pleasant aroma and included a mini facial when they put some of your face too. The restaurant’s Massaman Curry was so delicious we had it several days in a row. A little spicy with slow-cooked chunks of beef. Delicious! Versus our previous accommodation (mainly Aussies like us, Bangsak Village seemed to be favoured by Germans, making it challenging to have idle chitchat. But, this suited us as we wanted to chill and relax for our week’s stay. Happy hour for 3 hrs (2 for 1) was great - cocktails were good and well-priced (240 baht for 2). The resort is isolated (unable to walk to town), but they had bikes & car hire). For the price, Bangsak Village was a great stay.

We have just returned from our 4th visit to this hotel. It is in a stunning location, the staff are fantastic and if you want to sit by the pool or relax on the beach this is the place for you. However the hotel is starting to show its age, most disappointing was that the some of the poolside villas are in desperate need of renovation. When you are lying on the sun beds beside the pool to see that there is advanced vegetation growth from the thatched roofs reinforces the view that the tired spaces within the hotel that the it is time for some major renovation work to be completed. It was our intention to book our 5th visit for next year but until some urgent maintenance work is undertaken we will not be returning.

The bungalow was very nice. We loved the private beach and the private pool. The breakfast was excellent. A super option to have some calm last days in Thailand and for sure better than staying in the super touristiv south of Phuket.

As a returning customer, I can only be satisfied. The fact that the daily management of the resort is now handled by the team at Thailife Resort is a change that was needed to lift the place to a higher level. The options for the included breakfast changed daily and were plentiful. I didn’t really need the pool because of the wonderful beach, but it was the only available option when booking. This might be artificial because, during my stay, many bungalows without a pool were empty. Maybe contacting the property directly would open up more options? One small remark or suggestion would be that when maintenance work—other than cleaning—is needed, I would appreciate being asked if it’s convenient. Mowing the grass or cleaning the pool should preferably be done in the absence of the customer. Other than that I’m a happy camper.

We had stayed in 3 other 5 star hotels before arriving at Mai Khao Lak, when we entered our pool access room we were blown away by how gorgeous the room was. It was clean spacious contemporary thai style and our room was opposite the swim up bar. My Fiancé loved the pool and the cocktails were divine! The service is unbelievable, everyone is attentive to your needs. It is kid friendly, we have a two year old we will bring here on our next trip. Great breakfast buffet too. Overall an excellent resort worthy of 5 stars.

Fräscht hotell, Bra service och supertrevlig personal, Bra priser på hotellet samt finns det lite restauranger och massagestolen på stranden nedanför. Skapligt läge mot stan hade varit skönt lite närmare för vår skull. Minus till barnpoolen som barnen såg fram emot, helt hopplös att bada i, sand på botten på kakelplattorna gick inte att gå där, hjälm på vattenrutschkanan barnen vägrade bada där som annars älskar vattenland. Stora poolen saknas mosaikplattor här och där och trillar av nya hela tiden då alla barnen påmhotellet roa sig med att plocka upp dessa och tävla vem som hitta flest. Trädäcket runt poolen väldigt löst och uppstickande skruvar måste ha skor och se sig för vart man går.

Super fantastisk resort med noget for alle aldre. Masser af børneaktiviteter på land samt i pools. Stort udvalg i morgenmadsbuffet og hurtig og super venlig personale til at rydde af. Lidt øde område men dog gratis shuttlebus ind til byen (10 min kørsel). Synd at der er meget groft sand i pool ved piratskibet, gør lidt ondt at gå i som forældre. Dejlig service at alle butikker/restauranter kan man skrive regning på værelsets nr. Fantastisk mad på resortens restauranter, især Talay nede ved stranden. Minishoppen på resorten var rigtig dyr på badebleer, strandlegetøj, solcream m.m.

Stayed there last year and again this year. New section opened and older section under renovation. Very peaceful and relaxing. Close to beach restaurants. Much quieter than Phuket. Staff absolutely wonderful. Nothing is too much trouble. Rooms very spacious and the beds were soooo comfortable. Lovely new lagoon pool with pirate ship and water park for younger children. Adult only section with their own pool. Hzd a great time.

Calm, Clean, Kind and Comfortable Hotel to stay with your family. Room is clean. Pool acess room is great. There are several cheap and really good restorants near to hotel ane beach is near. You can visit Banniang Market with taxi only about 300 ~ 400 baht. Staffs are Kind. Recommandable if you are looking for calm hotel to spend your holidays. 한국에서 오시는 분들은 카오락에 관한 정보가 많이 없습니다. JW 메리어트나 샌티도에 많이 묵으시는 것으로 알고 있는데, 풀억세스룸이 꽤나 괜찮습니다. 푸켓의 시끄러움이 싫으신 분들께서는 초등학생 정도 자녀를 동반한 가족단위 여행객에게 적격입니다. 풀사이드 바에서 맥주가 100바트 수준이니 부담없이 즐기실 수 있고, 근처 식당들도 훌륭합니다. 특히 호텔 해안가쪽으로 나가서 양쪽에 있는 레스토랑들은 가격도 저렴하고 추천할 만합니다.

This is a repeat visit for us. Le Menara is tucked away in North Khao Lak, a little away from the town centre with its own quiet strip of beach heaven. Fantastic location for those looking for a chilled getaway from the bustle of office/city life. Scenery is postcard perfect everywhere you turn. Rooms are spacious and service friendly. For swimming buffs, this one is for you, complete with an outdoors 120m pool one way (that’s more than double the usual Olympic sized pools). Imagine you’re in a lap of luxury amidst Castaway settings (that Tom Hanks movie, for those who know it), and you’re there. Even more notable is their head chef, Mana, at the hotel restaurant, L’Amore. He is an excellent chef, skilled across a range of local and international cuisines. Not only is his technique and execution world class, he consistently delivers wonderful dishes that accompany each other so well. He is also thoughtful, remembers your preferences and is very skilled at tailoring a menu to suit your palate on any given day. We have stayed at various different five- and six-star hotels around the globe and we would seriously return just to eat with him again!! Adore this scenic place - more so since they are now equipped with an incredible chef at their restaurant so you’d never have to venture far to get great food! P.S. As it still is experiencing a soft opening phase, Le Menara offers brand new facilities. The main feature remains the over 100 meter swimming pool. The hotel offers a free activity everyday from yoga, cycling, beach walking, Thai boxing and even massage lessons or Thai cooking class. We were upgraded to a honeymoon villa near the beach and the room was just perfect with even a jacuzzi. Banglut is definitely one of the best beach in Khaolak. The beach is very clean with fine powdery sand. The sea is perfect for swimmers. For the time being, the beach remains quiet and isolated, perfect for peace hunters, the exact opposite of Patong. The restaurant offers refined Thai food although the choice is not very wide. A second restaurant will open within the year.

Lovely brand new luxury resort. Not quite finished, but large resortwith huge pooland large private villas on serene and uncrowded beach

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Isara. Andy, the property manager was most helpful and communicative with whatsapp messages at the time of booking and also on the morning of our arrival. Andy ensured we had transport and also sent us the property location. Isara is located on a busy road although no traffic noise was noticed. We found this area of Khao Lak to be quite sleepy which was not a problem for us as we had a hire car. Andy also offered shuttles to local attractions if required. Our room was not located next to the pool although the pool is in a common area only 50m or so from our room. The property itself was luxurious, roomy, clean and well air conditioned. There is a full kitchen with large refrigerator. There were 3 smart TV's in the property - one in each of the 2x bedrooms and a large one in the lounge. This was perfect for Netflix and Spotify. Solid wifi throughout without the need to repeatedly login. Speeds were 32 down and 63 up. I would stay at Isara again

The stay in Isara made our holiday in Khao Lak very memorable. The quality of customer service and sincere hospitality that far exceeded most 5 star hotels. Andy and Benz had gone out of their way to make sure my family and I were well taken care off during the stay. The property is near beaches and good restaurants, mini marts and one of the best Thai tea stall. They provide shuttle service to town and places of interest which saved us a lot on taxi fare. In summary we have only good things to say about Isara and we would like to really thank all the staff of Isara for making our holiday such an enjoyable one. We will be back!!

Hotel particolare ma bello. Appartamenti spaziosi e confortevoli il nostro con piscina semi privata, arredati in modo semplice ma con tanto buon gusto. Cucina attrezzata. Andy è il suo staff molto gentili e disponibil. Unico neo la colazione, va bene scegliere cosa si vuole ma la frutta specie in Thailandia non dovrebbe mai mancare e dovrebbe essere a libera scelta

The house is spacious and clean. The host Andy was very friendly and helpful. We definitely would stay again.
