The Badira hotel should be an example for all other 5 star hotels in Tunisia. It’s an absolute experience in terms of kindness, luxury and service. From the reception Ms Khaula and Mr Zidan to the pool guys and service staff, I, as a Tunisian, I am very proud that it has a European luxury standard. The concept is successful and we go to La Badira every year. Please stay in this high professional luxury standard and always be better than the others. We have recently returned from a 10 night stay at the Royal Azur and can say it is a very well presented hotel, with very good staff. Arrival was great checkin was swift as we arrived as the restaurant was about to close they rushed into the restaurant and where met by very efficient waiting staff who guided us the buffet which even at time of service was still very impressive. Our room was excellent very clean an tidy as it was kept through out our stay the housekeeping lady was excellent. There are 3 bars open through out the day Reception pool and Beach all manned by very helpful staff service around the 3 pools was great and if you wanted to you could go to the pool bar. The beach was clean and tidy with staff on hand. Both the Pool and Beach bars closed at 6pm. The Reception bar was very well run with table service or again you could wait to be served at the bar. We never had any issue's with service and you always got a smile and wave from all the bar staff. Food was served in the main buffet restaurant always plenty of choice and if you like pizza the guys did some nice pizza. The waiting staff are again friendly and very attentive I can say it is a really good hotel well run with allt he public area's kept immaculately clean the whole day. This not a criticism but may be a few more sunbeds around the middle and infinity pool it would probably alleviate some of the tension around these pools. Over it is a great place.

thanks to Footprint Escapes just come back from 1 week in Tunisia booked with the girls. Had my reservations about going to Tunisia as i had heard horror stories but the hotel we stayed at The Royal Azur Thalassa to say it was probably the best hotel i have ever stayed in is not far off the mark the staff were unreal from the cleaners to the managers all polite the toilets were that clean you genuinely could have eaten in them. The 3 pools were immaculate the food was unreal such a choice and unlike Spain and Greece on All Inclusive there were no cheap cuts of Pork fresh fish served every meal. I gave a few tips to the staff and we got waited on and foot they got 10 of the waiters to sing happy birthday and gave a candle laden cake to my daughter Morgan. A queue at the pool bar ? i got waved away and had it brought to us. Noufal the bar man was wicked even did a Brummie accent shouting CURRY every time he seen us. Aziz the pool attendant always had time for a chat and laugh the most polite people you could wish to meet sunbeds were a bit short in number but the lifeguards will always help you out to get one The entertainment was a quiet affair at night but you are allowed in the hotel next door where it was more lively but my days of kids club and junior discos are gone. We spent 10 wonderful days at this hotel and enjoyed every moment. It truly deserves its 5-star rating. The rooms, grounds, pools, and the beach right in front are all stunningly beautiful. Every member of the staff—from guest relations and servers to cleaners and cooks—greeted us with warm smiles and genuine kindness. They were incredibly helpful throughout our stay. The front desk arranged all our tours, which were excellent. The food was delicious, with two on-site restaurants: one Italian (which we didn’t try) and a Tunisian one that was closed due to the off-season. The breakfast and dinner buffets offered an impressive variety every day, with beef, chicken, fish, lamb, and vegetarian options available at every dinner. The water pressure in the rooms was strong, and there were plenty of comfortable seating areas spread across the property. While access to the gym and spa next door requires a fee, we each enjoyed a hammam treatment, which was lovely. One thing I especially appreciated was the peaceful atmosphere—there was no loud music around the three serene pools. The hotel also features three beautiful bars: one indoors, one by the pool, and one on the beach. There was absolutely nothing to complain about—everything was perfect. I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to relax and enjoy a truly beautiful setting.

Don't believe the poor reviews, I'm here with my wife and teenage daughter as I write this, and I have to say that so far it has been fantastic. We have a large family room with a glorious sea view It's modern, impeccably clean and there are certainly no wires or plug sockets hanging out of the walls. The food is plentiful, varied and well prepared. The pools are beautiful, and yes as with any hotel there can be a bit of a Scrabble for sunbeds, but we have tipped the pool guy 10 dinar per day and we have had the same poolside beds and two umbrellas every day. You DON'T need to pay for towels, they are complentary. The staff have been outstanding, they can't do enough for you. Now to get rid of the elephant in the room, we do tip (always have done) and are spending about £12 per day but in my opinion it is worth every penny. Thank you royal thalassa, we are loving our stay.

Me and my wife loved our stay! We ending up booking the place for our wedding night and was welcomed warmly by the staff. We got a welcoming gift and and upgrade to the loft - which was incredible! The room itself was modern and stylish, very clean, spacious and all the amenities we needed and more! The view was amazing! The private pool made the stay even more special! A huge thanks goes to Nawfel, who went above and beyond to make our day the most special day possible, he was kind and made us very happy! Couldn’t recommend this place more if you’re staying in Tunis.

The experience was perfect at all levels. Starting from the free upgrade of our booking to presidential duplex suite, even before our arrival. Hotel management (Mr. Mhiri) was in touch with us thru WhatsApp before our arrival and during our stay to ensure our comfort. Up on our arrival, Mr. Tarek (reception) was very friendly and helpful. The presidential duplex suite was outstanding, spacious and clean with all required items. The kitchen has all supplies. The suite has been cleaned perfectly daily. Breakfast is very good with various options. Free car vallet is available at the hotel. Nice and helpful team. Spa and in-door swimming pool are also available. The swimming pool is perfect. Great facilities Spacious suite, helpful staff, varieties in Iftar and room service were great. Lobby area was comfy and the lake view one of the best we ever had. The hotel overall really exceeded my expectations. The swimming pool and spa facilities were particularly impressive.

the staff went out of their way to make me comfortable as I arrived was greeted with a freshly squeezed juice, after I checked in I realized that I had forgotten my phone in the Taxi I was completely beside myself as we are so dependent of our phones these days, but Zguiden the front office agent, told me not to worry it would be returned but i didn’t see that happening at all, well they looked at camera footage got the taxis # sent the security at the airport to track down taxi driver and got my phone back I have never experienced a hotel staff go out of there way like this I cannot thank them enough so definitely recommend to stay at RoyalAsbu thanks again Zguiden and to all the staff

Me and my partner had come to Tunisia for a holiday and as it was our honeymoon the staff at Royal ASBU were absolutely amazing. I had told the team to decorate the room as a surprise to my wife. The team did an exceptional job decorating and made my wife extremely happy. Also I have to say the breakfast at hotel was lovely, loads to choose from. My wife also had a massage done here before our flight back to UK, she said it was definitely worth it and ladies there were very nice and approachable which made her feel relaxed before getting the massage. Also for anyone who loves Shisha - the shisha at the hotel is amazing!

perfect Hotel... inside elegant and very clean all the staff is very friendly and the food is tasty!!! Rom is very comfortable and in the Hotel you find a very nice Gym. The position is strategic because it's close to the Airpot.

The staff were quick and professional - check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, with a large, cosy bed and access to fast Wi-Fi.

Staff were excellent. Wassim was a real gem a true gentleman who was kind and helpful. Lovely private pool in villa. The Buddha beach was the best and truly amazing. We loved our time at the beach- the sea water was the best I have seen.

I normally travel solo however on this occasion I took my daughter on holiday with me. My daughter wanted a hotel in walking distance to the nightclubs and bars and Hotel Villamar fitted this requirement and is located across the road from Latino Nightclub and Manhattan Bar both have excellent security and my daughter and I felt safe to dance the night away enjoying ourselves. Plus, it's only a short walk to another nightclub Calypso and coffee bars and a five minute walk to the beach and beach restaurant. However, the biggest bonus ever for me was the quality of customer care service from the Hotel Villamar staff. I don't want to sound like a snob but I'm not used to *** hotel accommodation, I've always paid a lot of money to go ***** and I have to say Hotel Villamar delivered a ***** customer care service throughout our one week stay. The hotel night security guard was excellent and very professional. Our bed was very comfortable and had a clean mattress and house keeping excellent a very very clean hotel, pool and bedding. The hotel manager was on call throughout our stay making sure our every need was fully full filled from false eyelashes glue to restaurant recommendations and travel arrangements. It's hard work travelling with a high maintenance teenager but Hotel Villamar was definitely equipped to make sure our stay was one that we'll cherish forever ❤️ Thank you Hotel Villamar your hospitality was amazing 😍

He helped us at every moment with anything we needed and gave us great recommendations for local restaurants, where the food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Fabulous hotel, The room was very spacious Plenty to do around the hotel if you want to join the activities Always plenty of sun loungers available at the poolside/ garden/ or on the beach. There is camel or horse riding available on the beach, as well as other activities Auri is always around the main pool with a pleasant smile to bring drinks from the bar There is a massive selection of food in the restaurant We booked for the bbq in the Flamingo and to dine in the Olivia which was fantastic All the staff were friendly and efficient We were on first name terms with Louay and Aziz at the bar, who were brilliant Everywhere was very clean Would definitely recommend this hotel

We recently stayed at TUI Blue Palm Beach, and it was a truly relaxing and enjoyable holiday. The hotel is very clean, well-maintained, and beautifully located right by the beach. The rooms were comfortable, with good air conditioning, daily cleaning, and nice views depending on your location. The food at the buffet was varied and fresh — plenty of choices for all tastes, including vegetarian and Tunisian specialties. The restaurant staff were friendly and attentive. The pool area was large with lots of sunbeds, and the beach was just a short walk away with clear water. The lifeguards and beach staff were always present and kept everything safe and tidy. Reception and hotel service were also top quality — check-in was smooth, and any small issues were handled quickly. This is a great place for families, couples, and even solo travelers looking for a mix of relaxation and activities. The Animation Team went above and beyond to keep the vibe fun, energetic, and full of life throughout our stay. Especially Nassim and Mohammed kept up the good vibes and invited us to dance. We would highly reccomend this accomidation and will definitely come back!

We spent a week (14–21 August 2025) at TUI Blue Palm Beach Palace in Djerba and it was an absolutely wonderful stay. We stayed in a ground floor room DZX 1 with a terrace facing a quiet pool just a few meters away – the perfect spot to relax during the day in a truly chillout atmosphere. The all inclusive formula fully met our expectations: delicious and varied meals, an à la carte restaurants, and bars conveniently located around the hotel. In the evenings, we enjoyed a rich entertainment program – live concerts, shows, dance parties, and even an open-air cinema. A big highlight was the BLUEf!t® sports activities, with special thanks to the trainers Arroussia and Daly for their energy and professionalism. We would also like to warmly thank the entire hotel staff – bartenders, chefs, restaurant service, housekeeping, reception, and even the porter – for their kindness, smiles, and professionalism, which made us feel truly special from the very first to the very last moment of our stay. This hotel combines high standards, a beautiful setting, and a fantastic atmosphere – we wholeheartedly recommend it!

We have been back 4 weeks. We loved it so much we have rebooked for next year. Positive points: Food great, with plenty of choice. You have a dress code and on a number of occasions men wearing swimwear in the restaurant for dinner sorry but that isn't on.

This was our third stay at this wonderful hotel, and we absolutely love it! Everything was perfect – the hotel is beautiful, the staff are friendly and welcoming, the food is excellent, and there’s entertainment and dancing every evening thanks to the amazing animation team. A huge thanks to all the staff who took such great care of us during our stay – especially reception manager Faruk; always-smiling Sabri at the pool bar and his delicious cocktails; Sabeur in the restaurant; Wajdi and Louay from the evening bar; and lovely Hajer who kept our room spotless. This hotel may not have 5 stars but it deserves it, we had a wonderful two weeks here, everything was perfect 👍 we loved our swim up room, the staff were amazing, I can't name them all because every single one of them gave 💯 service with a smile 😊 the food was varied and very tasty I like trying new things and the entertainment was very good. I'm definitely going back 💙🫶

3rd visit to this 'little slice of paradise'. We have always had a good rapport with the staff here. We have always booked the swim up suite. It suits us for what we want/need. Room had always been clean and tidy plus the towel art that housekeeping do is 5* We love the fact it is a private beach.. so we feel safe with security between public beach and private. It has two pools.. quiet pool by main building and beach pool. We are beach people, so loungers aren't an issue with us.. they are plentiful. Food here.. we have never had an issue, long may that continue. Probiotics help whilst abroad. AI alcohol is decent enough Entertainment is good as well.. something for everyone. Activities through the day... plenty of these to keep you occupied if you so wish. Experiences.. romantic dinner on the beach, we do it every year. Restaurant caters for all food tolerances/allergies and if there is something you require.. reach out to the staff.

Beautiful beach front location Attentive and welcoming staff Possibly one of the cleanest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The view from our balcony was simply beautiful. Room 602 directly overlooking the main pool and on to the beach. The sunrise was simply stunning. The hotel itself was constantly cleaned from dawn to dusk. The choices of food at the main restaurant for breakfast, dinner and tea (I’m northern lol) was so varied. You would have to be a seriously fussy eater to not find something. Some dishes cooked fresh in front of you. If you have a sweet tooth then you are in dessert heaven. Massive shout out to Mehdi, Ata and Mouhamed. Who looked after us all the time. We tipped them generously during our stay. These guys rely on tips to top up their very meagre wages. They will go that extra mile for you in appreciation. A lovely private beach with sun beds and parasols galore, the sea was warm and clear blue. Yes there’s seaweed but they clean it up at every opportunity. Two pools, the court pool is for those wanting peace and quiet. The main pool is where everything happens. The TUI animation team offering plenty of activities and they don’t push you if you decline. Both pools have a bar and the main pool has the snack bar restaurant but don’t be fooled, they are definitely not snacks they serve!! All in all a fantastic holiday.

We had 11 nights and really enjoyed this. Both pescatarians and thought that the food here was as good, if not better, than any other place we have visited. Staff are also genuinely nice, keen to please, hard-working and just good people. Special mention to Anis in the bar who worked tirelessly with a smile on his face. Ahmed on the pool bar is another example but tbh 99% were cheery all the time. Gym classes were good, boules good fun, loads to do within the hotel. I'd have liked more to do outside the hotel but this is a review of the hotel and as I said, for fly and flop this is superb. I think that's a Tunisia thing tbh. Pool was lovely. The hunt for the best beds by the pool was competitive but there were other beds very nearby if you were unlucky. I recommend the hotel shop as I think it's quality produce at good prices. Two stores next door ok but the hotel shop seemed better. We were stung at the medina souk for pricey sports gear but my fault as allowed ourselves to be pressured. When I inquired at the local hotel store the price for one of the items was far cheaper. So a brilliant time all round ++++++++

Just returned from this little peace of paradise. The TUI Blue Scheherazade is a truly fabulous hotel. Wonderful facilities, amazing food and spotlessly clean. What really sets this place apart is the staff. I have been very fortunate to have travelled a lot all over the world and rarely encountered such warm, friendly and caring staff as those at the Scheherazade. From Reception staff, to housekeeping, pool staff and the amazing bar and restaurant staff, you are all amazing!!! Special mention goes to our waiter Mustafa who looked after Mom and I so well during our stay. He is a credit to the hotel management. Also special mention to Lifeguard Bear and Pool waiter Ahmed (please excuse what I am sure is incorrect spelling!). These lovely guys always made time to make sure we were OK and safe around the pool. The whole reason behind this trip was a complete fly and flop holiday to aid my Mom's recovery from surgery. Well we flew and definitely flopped!! Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. We will most definitely return very soon!!! Keep up the excellent work Team Scheherazade. Lynn & Mom

L’hôtel en soi a besoin d’entretien, je ne vais pas mettre tout le personnel dans le même sac, mais la plupart des personnes sont très hautains, à se demander qui sont les clients dans cet hôtel. J’ai énormément voyagé mais je n’ai jamais vu de tel service.. Quelques personnels sont gentils (les personnels côté cuisine dans le buffet, et 2/3 serveurs à l’intérieur), les femmes de ménage sont superbes, cependant les serveurs en terrasse et le personnel de l’accueil sont très froids (une dame de l’accueil a raccroché au nez de mon compagnon car il l’a relancé pour une chose qu’elle n’avait pas fait), les barmans te servent ce qu’ils souhaitent te servir même si vous commander un cocktail en particulier (un exemple parmi tant d’autres, mon compagnon a commandé un cocktail et le barman lui a donné le même cocktail que le mien). Si vous demandez un service, attendez vous à avoir ce que vous avez demandé longtemps après. Heureusement que nous avons booké la chambre swim up qui compense le tout, une chambre avec accès direct sur une piscine privée, par contre la clim marche à peine et fait un bruit. La plage n’est pas du tout jolie, manque d’entretien, dommage pour leur emplacement. Ce n’est pas un hôtel 5 étoiles, c’est un 3 étoiles pour moi. Nous avons passé un séjour agréable dans notre chambre avec la piscine privée, mais je ne retournerai pas dans cet hôtel, dommage car l’infrastructure est très bien. C’est vraiment le

Very nice hotel, diner buffet was not to good but i feel that this was probably due to lack of guests, which seems to be a problem at all hotels in Tunisia at the moment. My only real problem that i had though was that the water in the indoor pool was to cold, and at this time of year the outdoor pool was understandably freezing!!

Rooms tastefully decorated, with the best bed I have slept on in the whole of Tunisia (I've stayed in 10 hotels countrywide). Breakfast plentiful and varied. Pools great. Spa a real treat.

Excellent sejour de 15 jours du 5 au 18 juillet 2021 dans cet hôtel qui gagne à être connu. Personnel très accueillant et à vos petits soins. Animateurs tres sympas également même s il n y avait pas beaucoup d animations. Néanmoins, le calme a la piscine etait tres appreciable, sans musique à fond a longueur de journee. Et que dire de la chambre avec piscine ? Le grand luxe avec peu de voisins pour partager la grande piscine avec nous. Le petit plus aussi tres appréciable : le wifi dans la chambre. Quant au spa, rien a dire. Tout est parfait. Comme le restaurant qui offrait une cuisine variee et fraiche. Un hôtel que je recommande si vous voulez vous ressourcer au calme loin des grands complexes djerbiens.

We only spent one night in djerba and really loved this hotel. It's beautiful, clean, and a friendly staff. The beach is gorgeous and grounds are superb. It's one of the best experiences I ever had. The restaurant took a request and prepared a special dinner for my boyfriend. The breakfast in the morning was the best I had in Tunisia. Loved the omelette station. It was just a great time, and I wish I stayed there longer.

The staff went above and beyond during our stay. Made sure we were happy and comfortable our entire stay. The pools and grounds were clean at all times. Staff friendly and helpful. Security on beach and perimeters of grounds too.

Hotel qui mérite bien ses étoiles. On a eu une chambre avec piscine privative chose qu'on a apprécié. Les chambres sont très correctes, draps et linges propres. Équipe d'animation sympathique. Buffet varié. Wifi de bonne qualité. Deux petit bémols qui n'ont tout de même pas gâché notre séjour. Équipe de réception et d'accueil débordée ayant perdue le sourire. Problème d'insonorisation des chambres.

This is a large hotel that seems to specialize in tour groups and families. But for the individual traveler it is fine. It is true that the rooms are a bit worn, but if you can get a good price then it could be well worth it. With full board included this is a convenient place as long as you don't wont to go into town too often. The tourist zone itself is depressing and the facilities around have little character. But the hotel has a nice beach and a great pool. There is wifi only in the lobby. The staff are a bit offhand and don't have a good idea how to treat the visitors. But that's a small deal.

C'est formidable de pouvoir manger dehors, de choisir à quelle heure nous désirons manger, il y a toujours quelque chose, toute la journée. Un serveur passe nous voir à la mer pour nous servir une boisson. Il y a le buffet du soir qui est très bien aussi avec des grillades à l'extérieur. La possibilité d'aller dans un restaurant et de choisir un menu une fois dans la semaine ou le plaisir de manger dehors vers la piscine midi et soir. Les serveurs sont très sympa, làbas, ça fonctionne avec une petite pièce, c'est dans leur coutume, si vous leur donner 2 dinars (0.60 cts euros), ils s'occupent à merveilles de vous. Le personnel est très chaleureux

J'ai passé un bon moment, la chambre était belle et propre tout comme l'hôtel et le personnel agréable avec une très belle piscine et une plage magnifique. seul gros bémol, d'après L'Hotellier Hotels.com ce serait avancée sur les chambres supérieures, elles ne garantissent pas une vue sur la plage je n'ai donc pas eu la chambre que je pensais avoir réservé

Spacious villa with private pool. Charming setting. The family were so welcoming and went out of their way to look after us. Food was amazing, including a birthday cake for my birthday. It was such a pleasure to stay there. Would highly recommend.

The private pool was clean and very nice. The breakfast was amazing. Mrs Amel offered us every a variety of delicious traditional dishes and the breakfast was so rich that we had enough food for lunch too.

So Amazing that I would come back here again with my family, we had the best time of our life there, the house was clean and big with a fairly sized pool that we loved. The area surrounding it was very calm. The woman in charge there was the kindest and most welcoming person ever, and her cooking is very good, breakfast would be served in the morning and it was tasty. Our stay was wonderful! Umm Mohamed Ali was incredibly friendly and took great care of us, even preparing food for us on arrival despite us saying we were fine — such a thoughtful gesture. The swimming pool was perfect, cool and refreshing, just what we needed in the heat. Highly recommended!

A beautiful garden, private pool, and palm trees create a wonderful atmosphere. It’s the perfect place to relax and unwind from everyday life. The host was very kind and helpful, and the evenings by the pool were magical! 🌅✨

The house you rent is aboslutely enormous and very isolated. The host was very friendly and forthcoming and even provided us with firewood to start the fireplace. We were not able to use the pools since it was quite cold during that time.

The apartment was really big and had a bathroom for every bedroom. The big indoor ‘water park’ was a great addition at this shoulder season. The small mall nearby had a fine supermarket and a café that also made food to-go. Quite convenient.

We had a great stay at Sweet Villa Residence. Soufien is a great host who helped us out tremendously during our stay; providing drinks on arrival and showing us around the town so we could find our way around (food, taxis, etc). We would definitely stay here again.

Great holiday lovely staff swim up pool a great idea spent lots of time in it with family they all loved the burger an panini stand and great choice with ice cream and drinks beach was lovely and clean with lots of sun beds available. Would go back

We had a beautiful swim up room, so comfortable and clean. Loved use of the pool at night. Thank you for Noor at reception and Anaja our cleaner and our archery trainer for being exceptional. Food is good and there is always something happening.

Impressive resort, lovely staff. Great kids club. We had room 2023 which slept 2 adults and 2 kids very comfortably with a shared plunge pool. Perfect for dips during the day, and close to the kids club and shaded playground.

The staff were fabulous! The food was amazing, and there are lots of amenities on the resort. I booked a swim-up pool room: and I cannot recommend this room enough. It was private and tucked away 💜

We were staying at the hotel the 2nd week of December. It was well attended but not overly busy. The temperature was around 23-26 °C. Just perfect. The hotel is nice and clean; the staff was really helpful and polite. The food was delicious and plenty. Our room was spacious, clean, well stocked with coffee and tea. Every morning, the bottled water has been stocked up. There is a general shop on site with touristy stuff and basic toiletries, clothing's; postcards and stamps; The bar is open all day. There is room service available too. The pool water was clean and tidy all around. The hotel is right on the beach, with someone checking that only hotel guests use the deck chairs, as the beach is accessible by all. (Not through the hotel, though) There are cute cats everywhere. We've had a small pool outside of our room. There are many small pools, which neighbouring rooms can share and there is a big main pool too.

It was an extraordinary service that we received in TUI Blue Palm Beach Djerba. We greeted warmly and the receptionist guy just informed me on arrival better that I went for dinner first because the dinner would be closed in 1,5 hours. The cleanliness was amazing. They also have money changer desk where you can exchange to Tunisian Dinar. The pool and beach were amazing. The food was immensely spectacular and complete. They changed the menu everyday, which was brilliant. The pool and beach were immaculate as well. A good choice for stay in Djerba

The buffet was very nice. Among the pools, especially the relaxation pool is very beautiful. The employees are very courteous and friendly. Everything was great thank you.

Good hotel, EXCEPT the unbearably LOUD music at the swimming pool. Was really looking forward to having a swim and a lounge around the pool, but the music is unbelievably loud. So loud, that even in my room with all the doors/windows closed, I can still hear it clearly!

The staff at the Sheraton Tunis are great, professional, informative, helpful. We were checked-in by Achnef to a beautiful room with a view, he was professional and informative. I had a few questions after getting settled and Salma was always willing and helpful with our questions. Lastly at check-out Eya wanted to ensure our stay was comfortable, which was a nice interaction before leaving the hotel. With every interaction the staff were always willing to help. In addition to their amazing staff, the room was immaculate, clean, comfortable, and relaxing. We also visited their club lounge, the food was delicious both during breakfast and evening hors d’oeuvres, and the staff always attentive, always ensuring the lounge was clean, plates removed, drinks were replenished and if you wanted wine or coffee, they were attentive to bring it to you. The hotel is a quick drive to many Tunis sites, but enough outside of the city core to feel relaxed, to enjoy the hotel amenities and pool.

We very much enjoyed our visit to the Sheraton Tunis hotel. The property is a full service hotel with many restaurants, a large, indoor pool, a workout gym and a spa with full services. The staff immediately make you feel welcome with their friendly spirit. They are extremely helpful with all questions and requests. Nabila and Rym from guest services are very professional and responsive. They both are able to facilitate services and requests smoothly and proactively. Their hospitality was excellent. The buffet breakfast was fully stocked with something tasty for everyone. Eggs can be cooked to order. It will take several days to get to sample all of what is on offer. We had drinks and snacks on the patio, which was a very pleasant experience to enjoy the cooler evening air. Indeed, we found the Sheraton to be a very good headquarters location to explore the surrounding area.

I was there I think 4 years ago, and I gave them one start I think. This time they do deserve 4 stars. Huge improvement from last time. Breakfast was good, the club lounge is good too. Only thing is still not good, few food items do not have the descriptions, specially at the club lounge food was there and no one knew what it was, every person had to ask the staff. The pool outside if it is open, than towels should be there too, I had to wait for one hour after asking 2 staff for a towel. Room was perfect this time and TV was working, not like last time. You are almost there. Thank you.

This has to be the most beautiful boutique in Tunis, what a treat to stay here! From the moment you walk in until you get to and including being in your room, it smells amazing The decor and architecture is stunning! I love the traditional features but it still is modern The rooftop has amazing views over Tunis Our junior suite was perfect! Bed was so comfy, loved the sitting area, the separate toilet with sink (because I hate it when you have to go next door to wash your hands) and the main bathroom with the shower and bath connecting was a vibe The hotel has so many cute areas to explore, including the courtyard and rooftop pool! Also there was an art exhibition during our stay so that was nice to visit The shop in the hotel sells beautiful stuff - we got a lovely bottle of oud The food was not the best..the breakfast spread was small but nice..dinner in the restaurant was a bit disappointing considering how much we paid for it - small portions and a interesting mix of flavours (bearing in mind we’d been in Tunisia for 6 days at this point and had tried plenty of local food already, but here it didn’t taste as authentic) Having said that, the live entertainment during dinner was cool. But otherwise it was a perfect stay! We’ll be back

This is a beautiful, luxury hotel just inside the medina in Tunis. Our room was so spacious and comfortable. We loved the fresh fruit delivered every night, and the view from breakfast on the rooftop. We would take a dip in the small but beautifully designed rooftop pool every afternoon after exploring the city. It’s expensive for the area, but the rooms are worth it.

Everything was perfect! The suite, the decorations, the roof top view. The small hidden pool is a gem. The service in this hotel reminds you of the old days when travel was a luxury. I felt like royalty staying here and savoured every minute of it!

Dar el Jeld is a beautiful hotel. It is located in the Old City of Tunis making it very convenient for strolling to restaurants and shops. When you step inside this property, you are transported to the exotic pages of The Arabian Nights. The rooms and the public areas are designed to evoke a feeling of tranquility and escape for the chaos of the outside world. Top quality furnishings enhance the ambiance of all areas. From the reading light near the bed, to the luxurious bank of wardrobes in each room, to the elegant seating areas throughout the hotel, everything is planned to insure the comfort of the guest. Housekeeping is particularly wonderful. Fresh fruit is always in the room and each night a plate of chocolates is brought to the room. The chocolate, oh the chocolate – it is the best that I have ever tasted. My praise to the chocolatier, and my thanks to the housekeeper who kept us well supplied. The staff throughout the hotel are positively outstanding. They are always right there when you need them and anticipate your every need and desire. There is a delightful buffet breakfast each morning in the restaurant on the top floor. In addition, eggs are made to order at your request. Dinner is also served in the rooftop restaurant and is equally as delightful with a diverse menu of artistically prepared food. My thanks to the staff who made me feel so welcome and comfortable.

The hotel is in a good location, not too close to the medina but in an area with bars, restaurants and a couple of grocery stores. It has a great rooftop sitting area and the staff is very helpful and attentive. I had a great stay, although I wasn't there much, mostly touring around. I had dinner in the the restaurant, which was very good, a little expensive. My only negative comment is that the breakfast probably isn't worth $10 USD. I got there a little later in the morning but probably would have done better to eat in one of the nearby cafes. Two other comments, lots of Americans and lots of older people in the hotel, according to one of my guides, and it did seem to be true. It doesn't matter to me, I am American but I live in Paris, so I understand how it could be positive to some travelers and not so much to others. Overall a great hotel in terms of facilities, services and location.

It’s an amazing hotel! This is my second time staying at Hotel Belvédère Fourati and I’m really impressed each time by everything. Starting from the nice hospitality and warm welcoming to all my family especially my children. I’m very thankful for Ms. Rania, she was super kind and attentive to all our needs. She chose the perfect rooms for us and made us feel comfortable as we were at home. The rooms are newly renovated and very clean with all amenities. The food was super delicious with many varieties. The location is great and it is close enough for everything, especially the Zoo which was so fun for the kids. Really I can’t find the perfect words to describe how I am satisfied about my staying here. In overall I highly recommend this hotel for whom looking for comfort, location, great services and the best price. And finally thank you Hotel Belvédère Fourati for the beautiful gift, I do appreciate😊 you will always be my first choice when coming to Tunisia 🇹🇳❤️

Unlike many hotels, this one has maintained the quality of its facilities and its services over the 18 years since I first stayed at the Belvedere. One of the reasons I keep returning is the convenience and excellence of its restaurant. The food selections are varied, the preparation of the meals is carefully done and is consistent, and the service is a prompt and attentive. I like the understated elegance of the dining experience and the welcoming atmosphere that is created (at the risk of overlooking the staff whom I’d like to recognize but whose names I don’t know, I would like to mention Khaled, who is an excellent server and representative of the hotel). Other people I’d like to recognize (and again, I know very few names ) include Mohamed and all the people who work the front desk, and the bellhops. At the end of each visit, I am motivated to strategize my next stay in Tunis.

I think I found the perfect hotel. I found my transfer ready at the airport, I checked in sipping their marvellous lemonade, in the modern, spotless and quiet room I found a complimentary water bottle and a fruit basket (dates are so delicious!), breakfast choice and quality is amazing, when I told them about a led lamp, they changed it immediately, and everything was perfect till the last day. I loved to find my pyjamas arranged as a butterfly on the bed. At the check out they organized a transfer to the airport and they noticed I left behind my cable. They even left me a little gift, souvenir of a perfect stay. Staff was impeccable at any time, I am really amazed with their professionality and kindness. Receptionists were really helpful. This hotel and especially its wonderful staff will make me visit Tunis again, probably in winter when climate is so mild.

We absolutely loved our stay at Belvédère Fourati. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. No matter the questions or requests, they provided us the answers and services. The room was very well appointed. Kettle with tea and coffee. I borrowed an ironing board and iron for the entirety of the stay, free soaps and shampoo, mini fridge and sage. The cleaning staff does an excellent job and left cute little displays with flowers to surprise us upon our return. Very friendly too. Restaurant food was delicious and the staff was really nice. Pointbar in the lobby area was super convenient and classy. They it was nice to rest in there and have a tea or coffee, etc. We ended our stay with a really nice gift from the hotel. A little ceramic tagine. Very kind gesture and great souvenir to our stay. Really impressed overall.

Dar el Medina is a beautiful traditional house that is nicely preserved and decorated and is truely a gem in the center of the Medina. It is located in the main street of the Medina which has many amazing cafes and traditional tea houses. Live music is played by local people almost every night and is a wonderful place to spend each night. We had a feeling of staying with family during our stay in Dar el Medina! Breakfast was great and was enough to sustain us through the day until Dinner! The staff go above and beyond to help out in any way that they can. Nada, Soheil, Aziz, Muhammed and Monsieur Hadi himself along with other staff who I cannot remember their names, made our stay very comfortable and memorable.

The building is very interesting from the architectural point of view. Each floor and each room has its own design. Its restoration managed to respect 100% the history of the building and the initial design of it. Amazing internal gardens and roofgarden, vast rooms with nice natural light, old nice furnitures are some of the elements I admired most in this hotel. The location was very convenient and the breakfast was delicious and rich and of high quality. It was phantastic that was not time restriction for the time of breakfast. Also Neda in the reception with her beatiful smile was always ready to answer any question and to help. She offered limonade for free in very warm midday hours that I found very human.

Amazing hotel in the centre of Tunis Médina. It’s about a 10 minute walk through the Medina to the new town and a short walk to Kasbah Square where it’s easy to catch a taxi. The room was a good size with a comfortable bed and with complimentary fruit and water. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, especially Aziz. The restaurant has a good menu with both local and European food. I ate in the restaurant for 4 evenings. Breakfast was also very good with many items served to you at the table. There is also a roof terrace and lots of areas to chill or have a drink. I would absolutely love to stay here again!

Everything was perfect! We really wish we could have stayed longer. The pictures don’t even show how nice the place and the rooms are. The staff was extremely kind. Everything was very clean and well cared for. Location is perfect to explore Tunis medina. Breakfast is very abundant and varied. mostly sweet stuff, but we asked for savoury and we were brought some eggs. Not sure if it includes shakshuka - we thought it didn’t because ee didn’t receive it, but then we saw others eating it. In any case, the breakfast is a lot of food, so we suggest asking what it includes so you can choose what you want and enjoy it :)

First of all, very beautiful and well maintained old house in Medina. Absolutely gorgeous and oozes of Tunisian identity, which is why I chose it and I wasn't disappointed. Room was beautiful, staff were helpful and very pleasant, the rooftop terrace was gorgeous to have dinner on and the breakfast was way more than we could eat. I stayed for one night to be able to fly out of Tunis the next day, but next time I will be coming back for a proper stay. Oh, and the location is absolutely perfect, in the heart of Medina. A beautiful old town buzzing with merchants and cats!

The hotel is perfectly located in the main road of the town, close to everything and about 5 min walk to the beach. The staff members were very friendly and always ready to help with whatever you needed: luggage, information,... The room size was good and had all the necessary. The bed was very comfortable. The hairdryer was in reception though. The breakfast was the best I had in Tunisnin 10 days! Full of choices ans well cooked dishes: rice with chicken and nuts, special omelette, grilled vegetables, sweet chocolate crepes, all kind of cheese and jam, salad, butter, yam, natural juice, patisserie,... when I arrived they gave me a natural tissane and typical sweets for a warm welcoming, I very much appreciated.

Hotel Khella is a very nice,cozy and well located hotel. Mr Hasan has helped us with every thing; shuttle transfers, local guidance, first aid etc. The staff in general is very helpful and kind. rooms are very clean, breakfast is with plenty options, i miss already crepes, croissants... I couldnt imagine a better location, Khella is in the center, close to restaurants, fort, Medina, supermarkets and beach (max 10 minutes walking distance), beautiful beach by the way. A local restaurant recommended by Mr Hasan ''The Tahrir'' wihch serves delicious local food for reasonable price should be tried at least once. All in all i want to thank again Mr Hasan and all staff for the pleasant stay.

Perfect stay. We booked last minute as we decided to visit Hammamet and it was the best hotel during our trip in Tunisia. The staff is all super kind and helpful, from the receptionists to the amazing cleaning ladies and breakfast hosts. They got a great team. The room was comfortable and clean, the shower pressure and temperature was perfect. The room got cleaned daily with beds made, fresh towels etc. Breakfast was good too, with fresh orange juice, and it changes slightly every morning. Location is right on the middle of the main street and close to the beach too. Wish we could have stayed longer!
