Hotels with Swim-up Rooms in Veracruz

Currently, there is a ton of construction taking place at the facility. They placed us in two rooms at the end of the hotel - it is very large and spread out. Nice rooms with a fresh update. Beds and linens are good. Sleeper couch. Big flat screen TV. Small fridge and coffee maker in room and nice bathroom facilities. Staff is kind and professional. The grounds are beautiful. Some wildlife to observe. The pool is not as large as the pictures would lead one to believe and there was a lot of debris, biting bugs and bees not only around the area, but in the pool too. Still, my kids enjoyed their time in the pool. The restaurant has excellent food and weak drinks. We would return. It's not perfect, but it's safe, comfortable and quiet.

If you have to be in this area, this is not a bad choice. It might have been a 5 star hotel in the past, as you can see how it is build. Now it looks more like a 4 star hotel. It looks okay, but nothing too luxurious. The room is roomy, the bathroom a bit dated. But it has airco that works (a must in this region, even in january... I can not, and do not want to, imagine here in May). The bed... well, as too often in Mexico (with Mexican hotels, not so much with international hotels in Mexico) the bed is too hard. I am still not used how hard beds can be in Mexican hotels. They should start putting softer beds... The service is good, especially in the restaurant/room service area (food, breakfast, drinks etc). Very welcoming, with good memory and basically very good. (The reception should learn from the guys in the restaurant!) The hotel has an okay pool. There you look towards a river, which is nicer then looking at buildings in Coatzacoalcos itself (it is not a very pretty city with highlights known around the world). You get at least the holiday atmosphere. If in the area, this would probably be my choice again. Because of the people fro food and beverage and the pool. If you have to be in coatzacoalcos, this seems to be your safest bet.

Terranova hotel is a very nice hotel which accepts pet, albeit quite an additional coast attached to it. The room was lovely with big comfortable bed, nice linen and towels provided. We loved the speed of wifi, the fastest we had encountered all along our trip. We enjoyed the pool and the massive grounds were a great place for our pet and us to stretch our legs. We also had dinner in the restaurant which was very copious and reasonable priced. We would recommend this hotel for people traveling with pets.

The layout of this hotel was lovely. Our room and bed was comfortable. The restaurant was good. The grounds are beautiful. Its location gives a feeling of a retreat. I enjoyed the pool and the walking path that skirts the river. I would definitely stay here again should I ever return to Coatzalcoalcos.

A pues es una estancia amplia, el Señor Javier una bella persona atenta es quien nos recibió por la noche y nos platicó sobre el Lugar. Honestamente la única cosa que no me gustó es el acceso a la playa , está una salida de agua sucia a un costado del acceso a la playa . Huele horrible. Todo lo demás si no te acercas a esa área está muy relajado , agradable. Volvería a rentarlo.

El hotel está muy bonito y muy limpias y amplias las habitaciones, solo agregaría una cajonera, porque si hace falta un lugar donde guardar la ropa. El concepto del hotel me agradó mucho. La atención del personal fue muy agradable y 100% profesional.

Un nuevo y buen hotel. El recurso mas valioso es su gente. El unico punto a mejorar es la descarga de agua que esta a su costado que arruina un poco la experiencia.

Muy linda habitación. Buena alberca y frente al mar. Es un hotel pequeñito pero espero poder volver pronto. Nuestra estancia fue muy agradable.

Located a short and inexpensive bus ride away from Cordoba's beautiful main square, this hotel provided us with a fairly quiet pool side room that was spacious and had a nice view of an upscale residential area (expect occasional dog barking from a far distance). The breakfast terrace is awesome and the free continental breakfast enough to satisfy most appetites (we ordered a la carte as well - the empanadas were awesome). We saw many green parrots flying between the patio trees. The front desk arranged for a last minute coffee farm/city tour that we enjoyed very much (high-five to our tour guide named Israel). Our room had a safe and the free wifi worked throughout the property. The pool area is very nice and the grounds well-kept. We also had a nice sunset dinner at the top-floor restaurant overlooking Orizaba Peak.

I had a second floor room, the service was excellent, the place was clean and well maintained. The gardenish backyard with pool was spectacular with huge coffee tree and many exotic flowers and butterflies. The river flows behind the property making the views spectacular. Downstairs restaurant was excellent. Good air-conditioning, has iron and coffeemaker, has hair dryer. Recommended location for Americans traveling in Veracruz state.

This hotel has a beautiful pool, the staff was great, housekeeping was wonderful... the only downside was limited parking and it is a tight squeeze down into the garage... but altogether it was a great place to stay!

Lovely hotel with an amazing pool area, palm trees, landscaping and this is right in the heart of town! Good underground parking and internet. Restaurant opened late and the food exceptional. Decent continental breakfast in the morning.

Better than expected! Great customer service, beautiful outdoor patio/ pool, nice rooms, good food and perfect atmosphere to relax. Felt like home..... Will return every time I come to Cordoba to visit.

The hotel was very clean and the staff was great. The breakfast was good. The pool was a little small if you are traveling with a lot of people but other than that the hotel was a perfect choice , and I Would definitely recommend it . It is about 30-45 mins. From the beach .

This hotel is a gem, the staff is super friendly, the facilities are new and very clean, the room has AC and a very comfortable bed, breakfast is delicious and room service very efficient and fast. The only detail is that it is a bit far from the center, but for that reason it is quieter and away from the noise and bustle. Taxis to the center are cheap though. TOTALLY worth it, 100% recommended.

Everything was great about this hotel except the location was too far from the places we were visiting but worth the drive. We will stay in this hotel again and recommend it to our relatives and friends. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We felt very safe in the building. Thank you for a great experience.

El hotel es muy cómodo y limpio. Esta bien ubicado a pesar que se encuentra fuera del centro histórico del puerto de Veracruz. Se encuentra bien comunicado y ubicado. La piscina es pequeña y agua fría, pero al estar techada se soporta el agua. La atención es excelente y cordial

En general todo muy bien la limpieza de los cuartos del lugar pero la alberca sí estaba algo sucia no fue de mi agrado el buffet bien pero sí necesitarían un poco más de variedad y que haiga para niños

Great hotel, super nice and new, the only problem was that the pool was so so cold that the kids couldn't use it, and its not good in a beach hotel.

This hotel is in a beautiful waterfront location. The pool is big and gorgeous. Our room was spotless and very comfortable with a lovely ocean view.

Because of an exceptional situation (gale force winds over several days) the hotel could not deliver on its promises. Electricity/water outages, beach and pool closed, hardly any clients in the house. We were nevertheless thankful for the safe shelter.

Excelente opción para hospedarse, está alejado de lo “turístico” del puerto, sin embargo, las amenidades del hotel son excelentes, el restaurante es bueno, las habitaciones amplias y muy cómodas, lo único que cambiaría son las almohadas, si van con niños pequeños es una excelente opción, la playa es muy tranquila y mucho más limpia que en otras zonas, para comer está muy cerca mandinga para disfrutar de buenos mariscos. sin duda será nuestra opción principal para hospedarnos en Veracruz.

Wonderful location, great staff and we loved the pool.

The hotel is contemporary and it looks like the rooms were recently renovated. They are well equipped with ironing boards, small dryers and good amenities. There ir a pool on the first floor and is nice. The front desk staff is kind and the hotel provides a valet service, also very good. There is, however, one complaint about the mattresses. They are not as comfortable as expected, that is an aspect to improve. I would recommend this place for a weekend with the family because its location and the facilities. The price is in the medium range.

The only problem I found is towels are too old, they are clean but have seen better days; however, service is great. Is Located 2 blocks from the beach Bar and restaurant are OK No self parking and whell chair ramp is extremely steep

Clean modern room, all fixtures in good shape, comfortable beds, nice crisp linens, room service. Our pet friendly room was one of the nicest with an ocean view and large patio. They even gave our dog a ball:)

The bed was extremely comfortable and we slept incredibly well. The bathroom and shower were nice and had a few helpful amenities. There was plenty of storage and everything was very clean. The rooftop terrace and pool were lovely: the pool was a pleasant temperature, and it was nice to have meals/drinks on the terrace and enjoy the view of the surrounding hills.

The hotel was a beautiful experience. For the price and amenities it is definitely worth it. As beautiful as the hotel is, we didn’t use all the things it had to offer. They have a pool with a bar, beautiful eating plaza downstairs and small businesses that offer variety of items and accessories downstairs. I’d definitely come back to this hotel when I return. El hotel fue una experiencia preciosa. Por el precio y las comodidades, definitivamente vale la pena. Por muy bonito que sea el hotel, no usamos todas las cosas que tenía para ofrecer. Tienen una piscina con un bar, una hermosa plaza para comer en la planta baja y pequeños negocios que ofrecen una variedad de artículos y accesorios en la planta baja. Definitivamente volvería a este hotel cuando vuelva.

Everything was great about this hotel. Staff was attentive without being overbearing. They accommodated every need that I had, including some transportation. Area is very safe during the day and the town closes fairly early, so it is very quiet. Food in the in-house restaurant was excellent and fairly priced. Bed was comfortable, room clean, good shower, and beautiful ambiance. Rooftop bar and pool gives excellent views of the town and encircling mountains.

Lovely hotel. Easy parking on site. Friendly and helpful staff. Stunning views from the pool area! We've stayed here twice now as it was so pleasant. The hotel is in a great location for accessing the town centre. There are some lovely restaurants in the area. But the view from the roof across the the mountains - awesome!!

The hotel is located right in the center so that all the sightseeings of the town can be reached by just walking. My family and I really enjoyed our stay there, heated swimming pool with illumination, friendly and caring hotel staff, a nice and cozy gym.

My positive experience with HB Hotel Xalapa started the moment I walked in the front door. The front desk staff was extremely pleasant and attentive. My room was large and spacious, very clean and well appointed, I liked the marble floors and the big window view. (The front of the hotel faces a busy busy roadway, so make sure you ask for a room on the opposite side, otherwise your sleep may be disturbed by traffic!). I was visiting Xalapa to see friends, but was also on business, to me this is a perfect business hotel, well situated and with perks that business people need like free wireless for your computer. I ate breakfast every morning in the hotel restaurant were an excellent buffet style meal was available for 110 Mexican Pesos, about $10, good value and great variety. I did not use the pool or the gym, but did use the business centre. I noticed there were some wedding parties as well at the hotel, so that would indicate they have banquet rooms available. I liked this hotel, it was quite reasonably priced, very clean, great friendly staff, and well appointed. It's probably a 3 1/2 Star quality lodging, and does a great job and gives super value for the prices they charged. I will stay here again!

Delicious meals into the Restaurant, excellent services in rooms, also roomservice. About Conference rooms, all perfect, everybody always with a Smile If it is true the swimming pool is small, it is compensed with a good service.

Soy cliente muy frecuente de este hotel y me quedo por varios dias, el personal ya me conoce y en esta ocasion mi esposo se sintio mal y eran las 12:15 y no habiamos desocupado la habitacion entonces subio la recepcionista a tocar la puerta y nos dijo si no salen antes de la una se le cobrara otro dia,entonces mi esposo abrio la puerta y le dijo srita. Una disculpa es que me sentia mal pero en un momento nos vamos entonces ella le dijo pues si no salen ya antes de la una se les hara el cargo de otro dia de hotel a las 12:50 estaba yo entregando la llave en recepcion pienso que el hotel debe entrenar a su personal para que sea mas empatico con los huespedes un curso de relaciones humanas les vendria bien. Yo le hice saber a la recepcionista cuan molesta me iba yo del hotel por su mal comportamiento con nosotros y ella en vez de disculparse siempre dijo pretextos.

Todo muy bien con el Hotel, yo siempre he estado muy contenta. El único detalle es si pudieran mejorar que el personal de Limpieza sea más discreto, ya que hay una señora que limpia las habitaciones un poco imprudente.

El personal no acostumbra saludar ni iniciar la conversación incluso si estas parado frente a ellos ya sea en recepción o en el restaurante y dejé mis datos para factura del desayuno y nunca la recibí

The staff is always excellent. The rooms are nice and clean. The nearby shopping and restaurants is extremely ideal. Their private beach club allows for a great beach/pool experience. Or, if it's a rainy day, go to their indoor pool. I lived in Veracruz for almost 10 years and would stay at various hotels as a form of "staycation." I now visit Veracruz on a regular basis. Galeria Plaza may not the "fanciest" hotel but it is certainly the best when you consider all a person, or family, wants and needs to enjoy time away from home.

I find this property super convenient. It is located annexed to one of the best malls in Veracruz, so you literally have everything within walking distance. In addition to that it's got an indoor pool, a very good size gym and ai really enjoyed their outdoor pool also, even though they close kind of early (6pm daily), which has a small restaurant/bar area and it's right in front of the beach so you can do either or.

Great location, situated conveniently within Plaza Americas Shopping Mall to maximize your time. The fish tank near the elevator adds a delightful touch, and wheelchair access is available. The rooms are impeccably clean, and the restaurant offers a buffet with delicious dishes boasting excellent flavor. Moreover, the restaurant remains open until 11 p.m., with great atmosphere that patrons appreciate. It features a covered pool and a beach club. It's not necessary to use the car to get to the club or to the two shopping centers near the hotel. The hotel provides transportation to the first one, and you can walk to the second ones.

Our stay was very comfortable, the staff was nice and hotel was very clean. It was nice to have the mall attached to the hotel and the beach is in walking distance to the hotel. Opportunities for the hotel is pool looks torn up, trying to get to the hotel from the entrance is a nightmare cause taxis and buses stop right at the entrance and causes traffic and they need to do a better job of covering their bread there was always flies on it when i went down for breakfast. Overall i loved my stay there and i would defenatly stay again.

There's a mall downstairs with plenty of options for shopping and for fast food restaurants. Valet parking with courteous and professional staff. The pool was under renovation but there was a bus service to a nearby one. Great place to stay if you're going to be out exploring the city.

The Hotel Klimt is a modern hotel with friendly staff and an excellent restaurant. The rooms have fabulous views of the city and the Maquiltepetl valcano inside an ecological park. The restaurant serves local cuisine and has a popular buffet served from 7:30 am to 3pm. The food is excellent and the desserts are fantastic. I recommend the Plantano Pancake, a banana cake cooked in a deep dish. Room service is also an option after a day of exploring the city. The penthouse of the Hotel Klimpt has meeting rooms with a view and hosts many conferences The penthouse is also perfect for a wedding reception or a big party. Hotel Klimt is located on Avenida Muguel Aleman walking distance fron the center of Xalapa. There are many restaurants, a hospital, and small shops. It is safe and enjoyable to take a walk any time of day. Taxis are always available on Avenida Miguel Aleman. I recommend Xalapa as a travel destination and Hotel Klimt will provide the luxury you desire at the end of the day.

Una estancia super buena, estuvimos 5 días, fuimos en grupo de 18 personas, nos atendieron de maravilla, desde las recepcionistas hasta las camareras, el restaurante tiene una variedad muy buena y super deliciosa, mis amigos quedaron encantados. Nosotros llevamos y una Van de las grandes y aun así, si entro en el estacionamiento techado, solo que como es muy larga, decidimos mejor dejarla afuera de las instalaciones para no importunar a los demás huéspedes ya que ocupamos 2 cajones con esta unidad. Nos quedo bien la ubicación ya que sobre la misma avenida podemos ir directamente al centro y hacia el otro lado pudimos salir a la carretera a Perote, nos quedo super la ubicación. Volveremos a usar este mismo hotel para nuestra próxima estancia en Xalapa.

Hôtel Klimt was absolutely clean and comfortable. The location is superb. The beds are very comfortable, the rooms are clean, large, and well lit. Had blackout curtains for a good nights sleep. Check-in was fast and easy. Great value! I will definitely be back next time I'm in Xalapa.

Habitaciones bastante limpias y cómodas. Trato amable y cordial tanto en la recepción del hotel como en el restaurante. Como punto a considerar, deben mejorar tanto la calidad de la señal como la velocidad del WiFi. Todo lo demás, estuvo bastante bien.

The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. All of the staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. We appreciated the convenience of having breakfast included with our stay. The parking was convenient and secure.

We were just passing by in a road trip to Merida, Yucatan. It is a very good option: clean, good price, nice staff, good tv screen, near to a convenience store, excellent parking lot, good wi fi signal everywhere and a great pool. if you happen to be in town, stay here.

Great reasonably priced Hotel in Cordoba walking distance to the Center of town. Can rooms, quiet for sleeping. Breakfast buffet a little overpriced, but other than that a very enjoyable nights stay. Pool right on site and gym room available

el hotel, es estilo city express, limpio y organizado... el comedor tiene mucha demanda, ya que aparte el hotel ofrece el servicio de buffete a la gente externa al hotel, por lo que el comedor esta casi lleno.. el buffete es el tipico de estos hoteles, pero tienen buena calidad de sus materias primas,, es decir el yogurt no se siente harinoso, como en otros lados, ni tampoco es una calidad premium, y asi en todo la comida.... el hotel cumple y muy bien el descanso.. las habitaciones silenciosas.. buena vista a la ciudad, buena zona, dentro del primer cuadro de la ciudad

Nuestra estancia fue placentera. La atención es muy amable en todas las áreas. Solo el día que llegamos una de las hostess no nos habló de el estado de nuestra reservación y hubo una confusión respecto al desayuno; sin embargo la Srta Celeste, nos explicó amablemente los límites de esta reservación. Los desayunos variados y ricos. Las habitaciones muy cómodas y agradables. Volveremos a regresar. Lindo pueblito!!!

I forgot an expensive watch I brought as a gift. I was leaving and the security guard stopped me to let me know I had forgotten something in my room. They asked if they had permission to touch it and bring it down or if I wanted to go myself to retrieve it. They brought it down to the basement for me.

Great stay, friendly staff that seems to enjoy what they do. Clean room, everything worked well, we had no issues while there. There was however something I saw once I was leaving, the lady who was cleaning the bathrooms on the pool area swept te soapy water into the pool. But I did not use the pool so, I have no problem.

We stayed just 1 night in between cheaper places and it was really a lot more comfortable than what we are used to :) The room was big, the bed was huge and everything was clean enough. The pool is small but enough to cool you off during the hot days, even though I expected more. We didn't eat in the restaurant so can't say anything about that. We arrived early in the morning after a night bus and they were so kind as to let us in the room already. That definitely made the difference! Would give 5 stars if it wasn't for the pool (it was a bit dirty) and the location (far from both Veracruz and Boca del Rio, to walk at least)

This hotel is wonderful, recently remodeled in a nice vintage/hip style. The rooms are simple but well done, very clean and exactly what one needs. What really made this experience wonderful was the staff. Such nice people and the food in the restaurant was well priced and delicious. I have to really say that the staff is what made my stay memorable. SO attentive, and again the food (breakfast is the only thing I had) was perfect... the chef came out to make sure everything was well and to just chat. HIGHLY recommend and will stay next time we are in Veracruz. The atmosphere is exactly what most big hotels are missing.. so don't let the name fool you.. nothing basic about this cool hip place.

El hotel en efecto es básico, pero esto no significa que no cuenta con las amenidades, espacios y servicios necesarios para hacer de la estancia algo disfrutable. El personal es atento y amable. Las camas son cómodas, las habitaciones están limpias, siempre que hacen el aseo dejan jabón, shampoo, toallas limpias y rollos nuevos de papel de baño, además aguas de cortesía. El servicio al cuarto es rápido y eficiente. Además tiene relativamente cerca playas más limpias que las cercanas al puerto y rutas de transporte que acercan al Malecón y el Centro. Mi familia y yo quedamos satisfechos con la atención.

Todo está muy bonito, los paquetes de desayuno son económicos y buenos, comida rica, las instalaciones son muy bonitas, parece casita de muñecas, los cuartos son amplios y bonitos, tienen lo básico pero con un estilo que personalmente me gusta bastante, lo único malo es el baño por dos motivos, te asas porque ahí no lleva el aire acondicionado y tuve el infortunio de que la ventana de mi baño diera directamente al edificio de departamentos de un lado y yo creo que si se veía..

A 2 cuadras del zócalo, el hotel ofrece mucho más que lo que esperas por el precio. Es algo antiguo, pero por lo mismo las habitaciones son enormes, sobrias y agradables. La cama es firme sin llegar a ser incomoda, y la habitación es espartana pero sin carencias. El servicio muy amable, con varias opciones de alimentos, elevadores y su propia colección de pinturas, completamente originales. Una biblioteca hermosa, de esas que ya quedan pocas, y una atención cálida y comedida. Tiene su propio estacionamiento y se encuentra sobre una avenida principal. Sin duda un nuevo favorito.

Beautiful lobby,old school decor in the rooms,comfy beds and nice big shower with great pressure and heat.Central location across the bicentennial park,near everything.The blackout curtains with screened windows keep out the mosquitos and make a calming resting place.

Instalaciones nuevas las recámaras son amplias igual que el baño con buena ventilación. Habitaciones sin ruidos y muy limpias la comida también muy buena en el restaurante.

La ubicación bien, zona tranquila, el servicio de limpieza muy bien, la seguridad de las puertas de la habitación dañadas, de ahí en fuera todo bien

Lovely family atmosphere. The pool was very popular and heated, which was lovely. Lots of loungers. The little cafe there was only open the first day, which was a shame. Hot water, good shower, big terrace/balcony and really nice having a refrigerator in the room. No elevator so the stairs would be difficult with heavy luggage. Staff very helpful and friendly. Spanish only.

I live in Worcestershire, England and a love spending my beach holiday in Tecolutla. This place is peaceful with excellent facilities

Check in was fast. Room very clean. Friendly stuff at check in and check out. Restaurant does need attention since the personal there wasn’t very helpful. The pool was great if you have kids. It’s on walking distance from Americas mall and beach

This hotel is kept really clean. Rooms are clean every day. We were in the swimming pool and the staff continuously cleaned everything around the area. The staff are very attentive and kind.

The room was prety clean and comfortable. The property is well keep and the pool is big enough. One thing we didn't like so much was the food ib the restaurant.

My room was small, that's what I paid for, but it was quiet, clean and comfortable and good value. The staff were always friendly. What really makes this hotel special is it's awesome location, so close to the zócalo which is great as you will probably be enjoying a few nights out there like I did.

Great location only 1 block to the zocalo. Staff was friendly and helpful, had a taxi waiting for us the morning we left for the airport. The building felt historic and was clean and comfortable. For the location and the price, this hotel was perfect.

Very clean rooms, showers with actual hot water, decent wifi, central location, helpful employees. I wish all two-star hotels were as good at their job as this one. Great if you want a clean and convenient place to sleep, shower, and chance clothes.

This hotel is right off of the main highway that runs from Mexico City towards Vera Cruz and Chiapas. We arrived a little after dark and it was very easy to find. We are a family of six (four young children) so the indoor pool was very nice and fun for the entire family. I had a problem with connecting to the internet (it turned out to be a problem with my computer) and the hotel staff sent an I.T. guy to the room within like 10 minutes to try and resolve the problem. The hotel is right off the street but there wasn't much noise that reached our room. Very nice stay and will stay there again in the future.

Fine property with well kept rooms, good bedding, nice bathroom, and a safe. Wonderful well equipped gym and a heated pool.

The place is fairly accessible and probably the best accommodation you'll find in miles... though the handicapped room is spaciously lovely, some other facilities are not; like the pool or lobby toilets. Whilst the place might be the most comfortable hotel in town, the major drawback I found is that rooms might be quite noisy. If the room faces the motor lobby and thus the street, it is highly likely that you'll hear cars and buses passing by all time, no to say the train! you might not care for a while but when you are not used to such sounds, specially the whistling of the train, you get to find the noise annoying. Also, thin walls allow for noises from other rooms, specially flushing water, pipelines, high heels clacking on the floor or even music from the restaurant terrace. Another drawback is that food prices are high! Food is definitively overpriced here and though it is not bad, you can certainly find something better in the surrounding area... finally, in regards to staff: quite friendly, courteous, helpful, the best!!!

Little disappointed because gym and pool were opened late, these facilities should be opened 24x7 because you don’t know your customers habits

We booked this hotel the night before because we made a last minute route change because we wanted to try to visit the local caves near by. We do not speak any Spanish but being the "thrill seekers" (or unintelligent) travelers that we are we decided we wanted to find a guide and go spelunking in the near by caves when we arrived there after 2pm. We knew it was an incredibly ambitious task considering we had a flight in Mexico City the next day, but we tried asking the staff who were all doing there best to help us. Then we were pleasantly surprised to have the manager of the hotel (who has the striking resemblance and charm of Christopher Walken) come out and translate our phone calls to the guides and even make a few calls on his own to make this happen for us. Even though we were not high-rolling customers this evening, didn't speak any spanish, and were trying to figure out how to do something that was slightly ridiculous given the timing, the manager and staff did everything they could to make it happen. They were incredibly gracious and personable. The rooms were clean and the food was good, and for the price this is an incredible value. If you are visiting the area and value good service then I absolutely hands-down reccomend you stay here.

We were there midweek so it was very quiet and stress free. Comfy bed great shower nice seating outside. Very easy to find and plenty of restaurants and bars close by. We enjoyed the pool and it was probably a 5 minute walk to the river and just about the same to the sea. The lady who did the room every day was lovely.

It’s a clean, basic hotel in a town that has limited infrastructure but where people are its best asset. All aircon units are in excellent shape and look new -this is a must in this part of Mexico

My trip to Veracruz, Mexico was cancelled, but I did spend a couple of days in Pasadena, CA and stayed at the Hilton in nearby San Gabriel. Surprised to find that 99.9% of the guests were Asian, as well as the surrounding stores, restaurants, etc. Quite an experience! The hotel was excellent, immaculately clean and very comfortable - specially the bedding- and with a lovely pool.

My family and I stayed here last weekend and we really loved it! They gave us a communicated room and we where very comfortable, the pool is nice, and the breakfast was delicious. Thank you Hotel Indigo.

Everything. Everything was excellent! The pool, the gym, the room... everything!

We really like this hotel. We’ve stayed on two occasions, and everything was good both times. Breakfast is delicious, rooms are comfortable, and the staff is very pleasant. Only reason it’s not all excellent on my review is the elevators seem glitchy at times, doesn’t read the key so you have to try a few times; and the temperature of the pool water is way too cold, probably cause the sun isn’t hitting it most of the time. Other than that, excellent!

First time to ever stay in this IHG property. A decent night stay for a hotel that offers no extras. The pool is nice. The gym is decent. The restaurant is only an ok. The staff is friendly, but not well trained. The property is clean. The rooms are a good size. I had a Jr. Suite and it was worth the upgrade.

The hotel is well locater, near the beach, not so close to downtown, though. The hospitality is great. The pool area is beautiful, it has a river view. And they offer a buffet breakfast that changes everyday, the food is good, and you can have it outside in the fresh air!

Yo estuve dos días antes en una suite en el mismo Hotel y luego como no tenía para la tercera noche Suite entonces compré una noche cuando salimos. Les supliqué porque también tomé para toda mi familia cuartos les pedí que cuando me cambiaran de suite a cuarto fuera en el mismo piso porque somos personas mayores quedaron que se lo iban a hacer entonces yo salí a pasear regresé en la noche cuando regresé en la noche la señorita que estaba fue muy grosera fue la única persona grosera que estuvo es también la gerente de él. Hotel no me dieron el cuarto como me prometieron en el piso que yo estaba con mis hijos me fue muy difícil porque necesitamos tarjetas para poder subir a los pisos y no podíamos tener tarjetas todos si me hicieron muy la vida de cuadritos esta última noche las otras que estuve fue muy bien aquí fue la culpa de la gerente y otra señorita, que estaba en el lobby Fuera de eso todo estuvo muy bien. Lástima que nos trataron tan mal este momento y luego les pedí de favor que me hicieran el favor de darnos una llave para poder subir a los pisos y no me dieron permiso me amoló el viaje. Gracias

I stayed from 02 -05 August 2018. The purpose of my travel was a vacations with my family. It´s a new Business hotel in town with a fresh style. however It´s a good option for a leisure time. It have a good ubication, 10 min to the down town with transportation for free. Good rate and all the amenities you could need (include breakfast). I don´t recommend take the breakfast in the terrace (because the ants) and I would have liked more variety in the breakfast dishes. In general I had a good experience in this hotel, I highly recommend

When I arrived in Tuxpan, I was surprised at how hard it was to find someone that spoke english. When I arrived at the hotel, it was very pleasing that the staff at the check in desk could speak english. They offered me a bottler of water and snacks to bring to my room and the check-in process was very quick. When I opened the door to my room I instantly was drawn to the beautiful view of the Tuxpan River. The marble floor and the rest of the room were pristine. I found the staff at this hotel to be extremely courteous and helpful. The second day of my visit the hotel staff had an event at the pool area where I had an excellent view. The staff wore red shirts and black pants and formed an awesome heart shape in the pool. The food at the hotel restaurant was very good as well as the service.

I didn't loke the principal pool. We arrived here Friday and the pool wasn't available because was very dirty. In general the hotel is worth the price.

The hotel was very nice !! The staff were very friendly, the hotel was stroller friendly which was great. The pool was very clean and very nice ! The beach was like a 15 minute drive away . You can drive your car on the beach which was amazing !!! We had a wonderful time !! I would definitely go back again!

I went for a family vacation with a 3 and 9 year olds. The pool had fun things for both ages and the hotel was very close to the beach.

The hotel is a gem in Tuxpan. The swimming pool and quite environment was great. I will return there.

Best value place I've stayed at this far, especially in Mexico where prices are skyrocketing. The location is in the centre, 3 minutes walk from the historic Mercado and 7 minutes from the main plaza. Coffee is made for free within the dinning area throughout the day and filtered water is also available free of charge. There is also a microwave and fridge and soap and shampoo along with towel are complimentary. The rooms were cleaned every day too. The staff were excellent and the all-round ambience, decor and fauna were delightfully designed. There are multiple common areas, one with a TV, chess and sofas,one outside courtyard and a dinning area. The Room contained a desk, lockers, clothes rail, and ensuite bathroom, where water is always available. There are a variety of room, however, a shared room is a very reasonable 150 pesos. Everything about this property is exceptional. Would 100% recommend to all.

I booked a dorm bed but I ended up in a twin room with a private bathroom with 1 other person. Amazing value for money. The WiFi was strong, shower water was hot and the place was very clean. The staff are wonderful. I left my watch behind in the room and they kept it for me and stored my luggage. They also let me use their common area after I checked out for most of the day. I can't recommend this place enough and Xalapa is also a lovely town. The hostel is very secure with a PIN code entrance, room locks and a luggage box for each bed.

This was my second time staying here. Although it feels more like a hotel than a hostel, it's a great place to stay. My room was very clean and comfortable with one of the best beds I've slept in in a while. The location is easy walking distance to centro and I even walked to the bus station. Overall, this is a great place to stay in Xalapa.

The location is very close to the historic center and located close to restaurants, stores and parks. The room was very nice and quiet. The bed was very comfortable. Good water pressure in the shower and nice hot water. The courtyard is beautiful and a nice spot to sit and enjoy some race and quiet.
