The room and private pool were as pictured. Cold A/C, good shower, nice pool. Very convenient that the front desk sells large bottles of water at a good price, and nice to have a refrigerator available in the shared kitchen. Very convenient location close to many restaurants and sights.

It's a family hostel, no noisy, respect space, the designe Is amazing, the staff Is really profesional and the restaurant Is just 10 Michelin <3 Just my first Time in Valladolid with my wife and her moom the place was perfect. Just recomend anyone to book this place. I just arrive while raining, the pool was free of people and I just felt into a magic jungle feeling the rain in the pool, it's just a terapia!

Clean, lots of space in room, nice private balcony, good natural light, good storage for clothes and backpack, use of pool, use of communal kitchen, free drinking water, good outdoor communal spaces to eat food / chill by pool.

An oasis of calm after the busy streets of Mérida and wonderful to have a pool to cool off in. We had a room with a terrace and the pool was directly outside so it was almost like a private pool. It was very quiet when we stayed and I would definitely recommend it.

This hotel made our stay in Merida something special, we loved it! We had this beautiful spacious room with private terrace and almost private pool. Felt like we were guests in a palace. It is a haven of calm beauty right in the old historic area. Wonderful staff and the breakfast was also. Order the Huevos Motulenos, amazing! Don’t miss out on this excellent quality for a reasonable price hotel 👍

Checkin process was simple and easy. The whole staff was super friendly. Loved that TV had Netflix on it. The room was clean and spacious. The middle pool was my favorite. There was no one around in the pools so I had it all to myself. They have a little bar area where I was able to get drinks to take to the pool or even enjoy it at the bar. Lots of good places to eat within walking distance. Staff were all very helpful. Highly recommend.

Great Boutique hotel a few blocks away from the historic centre of Merida. Very close to some excellent restaurants and bars. The historic centre is great for walking and was very lively and interesting. The hotel itself was very good; rooms are spaced out around three pools and huge communal sitting areas. We had a standard room which was good, but if coming again would probably book a suite for the additional space. Continental Breakfast was included in our package and was good. There was a breakfast menu if you wanted to add other choices. The pool areas were great for relaxing after a day sightseeing. Quiet and tranquil enhanced by a few cool beers. The hotel itself is great but is made more special by such friendly and helpful staff. They couldn’t do enough to make your stay excellent. Thank you. There are some excellent restaurants in Merida. We tried two and they were both outstanding, with the added bonus of being 50% cheaper than UK prices.

The welcome was excellent. The guys on the front desk make a special effort to remember names. The hotel is situated on a not particularly attractive busy road. But once you walk through the entrance and bar area it opens out onto beautiful historic open courtyards with small swimming pools. The rooms are clean and nicely attired with interesting features. Our room had French doors to the first pool. It was very pleasant indeed. They do not serve food apart from breakfast but Merida has many good restaurants, numerous within walking distance from the hotel. The breakfasts were, for us, limited to either a continental or one dish and one drink off the menu. This was normally done well, one morning it was full in our area so we went to the adjacent courtyard, which was slowly and curtly served. The bar man was lovely, as were all the other members of their team. We had a wonderful stay in Merida, the hotel and hotel team were lovely.

Clean, quiet, pretty, location near centro historico and ADO bus station. The private pool in the room was great.

All of the staff was very friendly and the accommodations were very nice. I thought that both rooms had a private pool but it’s only the deluxe. Also there was a lot of noise early in the morning that woke us up.

Easily walkable to the city center which is the hub of activity. Many restaurants near by. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed, lots of storage for clothing and a nice desk space. Private patio with plunge pool was an added luxury that made the room feel very special. Very strong water pressure in the room which was nice. The bathroom was large with huge shower. The common space in the hotel is attractive and well maintained. The lobby is inviting. The courtyard has a small lap pool for everyone to enjoy. Breakfast at the sister-hotel across the street was very good. Parking is close and was easy to get to. Very nice and comfortable stay in Merida.

Great location, staff, amenities. Quiet at night, strong and personal WiFi (per room). Main pool is always clean and refreshing. I stayed in a junior suite on the first level. This suite included its own mini pool and lots of natural light. I had to work remotely 2/3 nights I stayed. The big windows facing my own private patio made a huge difference. I agree with other travelers that the breakfast offered is OK. I ended up eating breakfast and getting great matcha and drinks at the little cafe next door.

Everything was big. The room, the bed, the shower, etc. We booked a deluxe room, but they gave us something better. And they didn't lie, the deluxe was half the size! We stayed in room 2, which is just in front of the little pool. We could basically jump into the pool from our room, if we would be able to jump so far 🤣

Suite with private pool is great - large, quiet and clean. The hotel and general facilities are also good, and location is central within walking distance of all the main attractions. Staff were lovely - they even looked after our bags a couple of extra days. Private parking nearby at extra cost.

Comfort, customer service, lush green plants breakfast in the morning, coffee peaceful safe and secure in the heart of Mérida. Enjoyed my private pool and of course the beds were ultra comfortable😃☺️

Our room was at the rear of the property and was very quiet. Spacious enough and plenty of storage. Short walk to the main square. Private plunge pool was a nice addition Breakfast was ok, continental style but nice to have some fruit and yoghurt.

I booked a suite with private pool and requested an upstairs room. When we got there we were given a downstairs room at the back of the hotel. It was dark, musty and the private pool area was uninviting. However, the next day our whole experience changed when we switched rooms to an upstairs suite. I LOVED that room! It felt like we had our own private oasis and the private pool was perfect! I especially loved the sky light in the shower, the tile work and the bed and pillows were great.

The room, private pool, and outdoor seating areas were exactly as pictured. The room was spacious with plenty of space to unpack, the A/C was nice and cold, and the TV had countless options. The outdoor seating area was so pleasant and relaxing with the beautiful blue, pink, and yellow paint and all the green plants. The location was very convenient (easy walking to many restaurants and sights). We arrived the night before Hurricane Beryl, and the hotel staff at the front desk gave us extremely detailed, helpful information about what to expect and how to prepare.

Everything. Amazing property done in good taste. Quiet, heavenly, gorgeous. Great staff - so helpful, good English speakers, prompt comms, 24 hour reception. Room was lovely - we had one on the ground floor overlooking the pool with 2 sets of doors. One door was opening in a nice little garden space next to the pool - perfect for your morning coffee or some reading. Breakfast is delicious!

I got a severe migraine my first night there. In the morning I contacted the staff and asked for help. They called a doctor, he made a visit to me at the hotel within half an hour. I was given an examination and given the proper mediation. I am super grateful because without the mediation, my vacation would have been ruined. The staff were very attentive and checked on me and made sure I had food and anything else I needed that first day to recover. The hotel is beautifully designed with spacious rooms and bathrooms. The pool area was tranquil and offered the perfect place to relax and soak up the sun. The outdoor dinning area was perfect for enjoying a meal prepared by the hotel or one brought in by guests! Despite being located on a main street, the property is very quiet. I can't say enough how much I enjoyed my stay here. Perfect location and easily accessible to anything you would want to see or do. Met the owner on arrival and she could not have been more warm and welcoming. The staff was equally attentive and lovely.

Second time at the property, many years after the first visit. Rooms are spacious and well decorated, with an outdoors shower. The hotel lobby is beautifully upkept, in Yucatec style, and the pool area is very pleasant. Very relaxed atmosphere, an oasis in the warm chaos of central Merida.

The rooms were a great size, we had a master suite with its own plunge pool. It's a tranquil setting with hammocks, day beds and a communal pool. The staff are friendly and we extended our stay an extra night as it was so nice.

Nice little place, convenient and walking distance to the main square. Helpful staff. Wish breakfast was included in the rate. Our room was well appointed. I used the hammock but not the small external plunge pool as I found the water a bit on the cold side.

Everything went well. No trouble with parking or our room. Private pool was clean and warm. Great location! We walked down many streets and found food and ice cream.

I loved everything about this hotel. The location is excellent for exploring Valladolid. It’s also a short walk from the ADO bus terminal. There is a lovely small church and park with eateries just around the corner. The pool, day beds and hammocks provide the perfect respite from the heat! My room was large and very comfortable, which also had the added bonus of a small plunge pool. The staff were lovely and very helpful. This was my first visit to Valladolid and if I visit again, I will be coming back to stay at this hotel.

Where to start on this great placel! Just the size and style I love. Everything was so charming! Outdoor areas, the room (Jr Ste + plunge pool). Great showers, clean, spacious, quiet, a nice mini fridge and hammock, dresser. The decor is outstanding, location is great. The staff is amazing, so helpful and cordial. Was my first female solo travel in some time, and they absolutely made my stay incredible and memorable. I will for sure return and highly recommend this lovely boutique hotel. Outstanding!! One small disclaimer, both mornings bkfst wasn't available, but plenty of great recommendations were given.

My room, #6, had a downright decadent outdoor rain shower, featuring hot water and strong pressure--not always found in Mexican hotels. Good bed, quiet overnight. Staff is friendly and eager to please. I sense a hotel of this calibre would be twice, three times the price in Bali or Tulum, so a decent value too. A few quibbles: I would have loved a chair or loveseat in the room. There is space for a refrigerator in the cabinet, again would have been a welcome addition. And given that the pool is the hotel's central feature, hotel staff should aim to clean pool more often--pool caught a lot of leaves and debris that daily or twice daily cleaning would have removed. Small things. On the balance, a strong recommendation for your hotel choice in beautiful Merida.

A beautiful, boutique hotel in the old town. About ten minutes walk to the Cathedral. We had a room with doors opening onto the garden. There’s a small pool, nicely landscaped. A small restaurant area for breakfast. It’s all very beautifully designed. The biggest selling point is the staff. They couldn’t have been more helpful, including helping us arrange a trip to the Cenotes, Particularly want to thank Maate who was so charming and helpful. Only thing to be aware of is that there are no steps in to the pool so you have to be able to lift yourself out.

I really loved my stay here, this place really delivers. As far as overall design, when you walk in it is immediately calming. There is a beautiful courtyard and pool and a patio with tables for eating meals. It feels like a little oasis in the city. My room was absolutely fantastic. The design was modern but comfortable. The bed was extremely comfortable and I slept really well. The design aesthetic is just cool without being gimmicky at all. The folks working there are lovely and so, so helpful. I wanted to book private transport to Uxmal and some cenotes and so I emailed them ahead of time and they arranged everything for a great price. The day of my trip they coordinated my departure and even gave me a box lunch to take with! I would absolutely stay here again and I've already recommended the place to friends and family. I truly don't understand anyone who would give it less than a 5/5 rating.

This felt like coming home. Absolutely loved it. The rooms are clean and spacious. Beds are comfortable. The windows and doors look original to the property and are very rustic and gorgeous. Same for the beams, dresser and bed frames. I didn’t use the pool, but it looked clean. The breakfast options are a tad limited but delicious. If you order juice, it is made fresh on the spot (I saw the waiter making ours). The area is very walkable. If you’re Catholic; Santa Ana Parish nearby has English masses. There’s a couple of restaurants and shops nearby. Tons more if you walk a few more blocks on the downtown or Paseo Montejo directions. Plus, the famous La Negrita Bar is only feet away. The cocktails are huge but it is VERY affordable there.

The hotel is beautiful and we recommended specially for couples. Is quiet and cozy, very romantic. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Do not be put off by the exterior of the street, once you are inside is very nice. Our room had its own private pool and it was really nice. The only possible downside is that is about a 15 minute walk from downtown or a 8 dollar UBER ride. We chose to walk and it was not bad at all. About two blocks from the hotel is the Mercado de Santiago where you can find good food at very affordable prices.

This charming little hotel was our oasis from the heat and bustle of the city. Having a spacious room with a private little courtyard and plunge pool was heaven after enduring sweltering temperatures. The plunge pool was much cooler than the common pool. So glad we opted for the courtyard amenities-well worth the extra $! The beds were comfy, linens were crisp, bathrooms well appointed with organic shower products-not those tiny little single-use bottles. Breakfast offered traditional choices as well as Yucatanean offerings, and the service was excellent. This hotel is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood and about a 10 minute walk to the nearest market. We were able to summon an Uber within 9 minutes for longer treks. If you desire a lovely, quiet, quaint haven from the hustle and noise of the city, Hotel Unknown is an excellent choice!

It truly was the unknown and then you walk through a door into heaven! I had to remind myself that I had not left Mérida! We switched from busy Paseo de Montejo area to the quiet, peaceful neighborhood of Santiago. We booked a room with a private pool & loved the peaceful small, but perfect outdoor space. The 2 bedroom was perfect for our family of 3 adults. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. One thing to note is there are a few somewhat strict rules: only one coffee pod per person/per day. Breakfast is one drink, coffee refill is extra. Be sure if you book online that your reservation has the correct number of guests. There was a little glitch with that on check in, but the staff was patient and very helpful to straighten it out. Breakfast is good! Fruit plate & eggs prepared to order! We had wonderful massages at the spa here too! There is a photo in the lobby showing what the place looked like before they renovated it! Amazing! It is truly an oasis in the city. My only complaint, but not really a complaint, is the beds are a bit hard. We still slept well because it was quiet and turned the ceiling fan on and the door with screen open to our pool. Woke up to the birds singing in the morning. We even extended our stay here! I highly recommend Hotel Unknown! It will soon be known!

The hotel is in Barrio de Santiago, a quiet, gentrifying area just west of the Centro. I liked the staff very much - they were super helpful and super nice and patient with my rusty Spanish. The plunge pool was very welcoming and clean, great to cool off after a hot day walking around. Walking to the room was quite tricky. Not great for unsteady walkers. The coffee at breakfast was limited to 1 cup and really, it was awful. There was a coffee maker in the room which was also limited to 1 cup each, but we didn't use it. The hot water in the shower lasted 5 minutes or so, but a tepid shower was OK given the heat. There was nowhere to hang a wet bathing suit to dry (if anything ever really dries in Mérida.) A clothesline in the shower would've been perfect. The room had a bedroom and an anteroom with a couch but it felt cave-like in that it was very dark, even with the lights on. Not enough hangers. Generally, the room was just OK though the bed was very comfortable. The location is good. The nearby Parque de Santiago has a mercado with some "taquerias" and "loncherias". Plus music and dancing on Tuesday evenings. There are cafes nearby the hotel with very good coffee. A 20-minute walk to the central plaza and to Paseo Montejo. 30 minutes to the central mercado. All-in-all, it was a pleasant stay but I will not use the hotel again. I'd prefer something lighter and brighter.

Amazing place at the beach! Lovely hosts, amazing room, with a large beamer to watch a movie on a rainy day. Super welcoming atmosphere and great private pool.

The suite the we booked “CENOTE” have private pool. Big screen projector. The property has a very decent private beach.

I love everything! Our stay with Jill and Randy was fabulous, they made us feel at home, and we will definitely be back. My husband loved the room with the big TV, the private pool was amazing too! The beach was a few steps away from our bedroom and they had a lot of stuff to spend on the day on the beach!

Puerta del Cielo is an amazing place for a relaxing vacation by the sea. Rooms are perfectly clean and comfortable and each has its own on charm. “Cenote” room has its own patio with a private pool right by the bedroom. We were able to relax at the beach and at the terrace overlooking the ocean. Beach is clean and very quiet compared to Progreso or busier places. Would recommend bringing a car, as it is a bit far from stores/restaurants (as most places in the area). The hosts, Jill and Randy, are extremely nice - Jill’s cooking is delicious (let her know in advance about breakfast or dinner), and Randy made sure we had fun, lending us paddle boards/kayaks and showing us how to fish. As expected in a town like Chuburna, we had a minor issue with water, but the hosts fixed it right away. Would love to come back soon.

Staff was amazing! Nice, helpful and smiling all day and night! The room was quaint, yet comfortable with a very good air conditioner and colonial feel. Pool and pool area was clean and nice to go wading in. The location was excellent! It was a couple blocks from many of the churches and the centros. Restaurants, convenience and souvenir stores everywhere! Only problem was the drain in the shower did not drain. We had to take turns showering in order to let the water drain. We mentioned it to the maid and she just said ok. I should have called the front desk but we were always on the go. Overall, we liked it alot and would stay there again!

What a beautiful place to stay. This hotel is tucked in Parque de los Hidalgo which is so convenient. The hotel is well preserved and filled with beautiful artwork. The service was great, the front desk staff was prompt. We requested a cab and they made the arrangements as requested. The room is perfect for a nite with all the amenities a/c, TV and toiletries. There is a pool on the third floor. I didn’t go in the water, I did a temp check with my toe, it felt great. I would totally stay here again.

The hotel was in a great location, close to many restaurants and to the Plaza Grande. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool area was small but suited our needs and was very peaceful. The only negative was a lot of street noise and construction noise especially in the early morning hours.

Location location location ! Also nice pool and good service by the doorman. I get the suite Fontana with an impressive bath in. Best room in the hotel. Room 324. I recommend this place for good quality price.

Great stay, great service in every aspect from the young bellman, front desk, housekeeping and servers in the restaurant. Very professional, very well run hotel. The nice pool area was a bonus!

This is an excellent property and one of the nicest I've been to. Michael and Rose are great hosts who go above and beyond for their guests. Everything is very well maintained and the beach, pool and grounds are first class. The breakfast by Rose are fabulous too! Thanks for the great stay!

Last minute reservation, and the stay was very nice. Host was very welcoming and accommodating to extra requests. Clean pool, just steps from the beach (did not use beach as there was lots of churn from the incoming hurricane). Wonderfully peaceful and quiet in the evening/night to fall asleep to the waves

Oceanfront property. I fell asleep to the sound of waves. Nice rooms and a beautiful courtyard with a pool. The Wifi was very dicey, but that just gave me an excuse not to work!

Let me start by saying I have traveled the world rather widely, & I honestly think this is my absolute most favorite place I’ve ever stayed! The owners live on site & are wonderful. Lucy met me outside when I arrived & walked me to my room & suggested many local eateries. She was extremely sweet & helpful through my stay. The attention to detail put into the rooms is phenomenal. It is just as comfortable as home. And the view is absolutely stunning! The pictures on Expedia don’t do it justice AT ALL! I wish I could upload all the Insta worthy shots I took of this place. You will have everything you need here, including a very comfortable bed. I think I slept better here than I ever have in my life. The location is not in the touristy area of Progreso; that is about 20 minutes away. WiFi worked great, & I was able to work some while visiting. Your beach is a private beach, only accessible by the residents, which I rather enjoyed, & the property is extremely secure. I could go on & on, but I will just say that I definitely plan to make it back in the near future. Everything about it was perfect!

We really enjoyed our stay here! The staff was very friendly and attentive. Our apartment was absolutely fantastic - clean and fragrant. Bed was ultra sized and comfortable. We had a small private pool outside - absolutely fantastic! Breakfasts were from 8AM to 12PM in the garden next to the hotel in the Le Kaat restaurant. The included breakfast was only "Paquete desayuno" with coffee or tea and fresh fruit aqua (fresh water melon/yellow melon). It was fine. I also order an extra Huevos rancheros - perfect! 😌 We also rented a bicycles from the near rental and the hotel's staff let us leave the bikes in the garden without any problem - thank you for that.

We had a warm welcoming, the place is clean, charming. The room was great, and the hotel is well located in the center of Valladolid!

I recently stayed here for 5 days and it was the perfect way to relax in a beautiful setting. The staff are so kind and hard-working, the grounds are immaculate and clean, and the meals were delicious. I enjoyed both the larger pool and the private plunge pool, as well as the little touches in the room that made it feel so luxe yet comfortable. The location is fantastic too. You can walk to just about anywhere in the city and come back to a quiet, calm retreat. I would not hesitate to return and to recommend Adoro to others. Gracias, Adoro!

We had such an incredible stay in this hotel!! The staff was perfect!!! Alfonso the concierge was the absolute best!! The room we stayed in was the absolute best!! We had the best rest of our lives. The bathroom and shower were amazing and the plunge pool was a highlight of our whole trip to Mérida!!

We really enjoyed our 7 night stay at this boutique hotel in the heart of Merida. The hotel was perfectly appointed and decorated, it was so luxurious we felt like we were staying in our own hacienda with wonderful staff to take care of all our needs. Breakfast was exceptional, many options to choose from and was part of our VIP package through booking with Expedia. We stayed in a beautiful room opening up to the pool and had our own plunge pool off our bathroom. Both wonderful to cool off in after a day off exploring Merida. The bartender was fabulous and helped to educate us on tequila and Mezcal. The hotel location offered beautiful and exquisite restaurants and shops within easy walking distance from the Adoro. We did a lot of tours booked through Trip Advisor and they were great and allowed us to explore all around Merida. Would recommend the Adoro Hotel for a romantic getaway. We will be back. Thank you!

The pictures don’t to justice to this hotel. I was pretty amazed by the architecture and decoration. When you first enter the hotel you are received by a gorgeous tree. Then they show you the room and it was not only very beautiful, the bed and pillows were very comfortable. Our room was upstairs so we had a jacuzzi, I understand other rooms have a private pool (we will try those next time we come back). Locationwise, the hotel is one block away from a street full of restaurants and 2 blocks away from paseo de montejo which it’s an iconic street. As for amenities, we had breakfast in the restaurant which was very good (be sure to get the almond croissant), at night we had some cocktails at the bar which were also very very good. Overall, From start to finish it was a great stay.

This beautiful, brand-new hotel is within walking distance of shops and restaurants, making it a perfect location for exploring the area. Despite its central location, the atmosphere was peaceful and quiet, with few other guests during our stay. The service was outstanding—every staff member we encountered was kind, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. We’ll definitely be returning!

I liked that it was a boutique hotel and that the staff was very attentive. The hotel has 2 pools, a normal one and another one that was a cave before. Because it is a small hotel we actually had the pools for ourselves when we wanted to use them which increase privacy and the holiday feeling.

THis hotel was awesome, we loved it. We loved our room, so beautiful. The property was beautiful and the little cave swimming pool was so cool. The breakfast was really good. We would absolutely stay again. We had a rental car so we didn't mind being a little further out of the city. The staff was wonderful. Beds were so comfortable and my kids loved that there was a TV.

Overall everything was great, the staff is very nice and super reactive on Whatsapp, which we really appreciated. The bedroom was huge and fancy, and the shower was gigantic as well! We also enjoyed our bedroom to be very close to the terrace to take our breakfast outside. The cave swimming pool and the sauna are nice to relax and the common areas are very pretty.

This small hotel is beautifully decorated with wonderful staff. Our bedroom was large and had a small private outside garden for us to read in. The swimming pool and artificial cenote was great to have.

This was a pleasant surprise. Nice clean pool, spacious, great wifi and air conditioning. Full kitchen in cottage. You might have to ask for items but staff are responsive. Few restaurants or activities in the town, but a nice jumping off point for Uxmal or similar.

Out in the middle of Rita Puuc in a small town. Rustic driveway beside property, you park your car inside gates. Nice sized pool. The kitchen didn't have a lot of equipment, but there is a 2 burner stove and fridge. Comfortable room, beds comfy but noisy on street side. This was unit with living room and kitchen, the others may be quieter.

Hôtel tranquille et agréable dans un petit village maya ou peu de commerces et restoration. Nous étions deux couples . A 40 minutes d'UXMAL. Pour une halte paisible sans prétention. Jeune fille serviable à l'accueil.

A real gem near cenotes and Mayan history. Polite service, relaxed vibe, breakfast at a fair price, and nice amenities. Highly recommend the little taqueria on the same road, near town, called Taqueria Ammy.

We absolutely loved everything about the property. It was stylish, comfortable and extremely clean. It was a pleasure staying at Central and it was like a home from home for us. A fantastic stay and if you are travelling to Mérida it is most certainly recommended. We have travelled to Mérida many times and this accommodation is right up there with the best of the best! Thank you to VIATO for such a wonderful experience. Btw, communication was second to none - a delight!

We spent four nights at Departamentos Central by VIATO in the Private Rooftop-Tub two bedroom apartment and had a fantastic experience. The apartment was clean, spacious, and well-designed, with everything we needed — the fully equipped kitchen, washer, and dryer were huge bonuses for our family. Morning coffee on the private rooftop was simply unforgettable — peaceful, sunny, and a perfect way to start the day. Everything in the apartment worked as expected, and communication with the host was excellent — fast, clear, and helpful. We had a minor issue with a small water leak, but it was addressed quickly and professionally by the host’s team. The location was also fantastic — within walking distance to the historic center, beautiful parks, great restaurants, and local markets. Quiet neighborhood, but still close to everything.

Great location, nice places nearby, lots of space space, two barthrooms, great facilities in the building, rooftop view, and safety. A little pricey but in retrospect it was very much worth it. We panicked initially that parking would be an issue but we sorted that out: Parque de la Mejorada for free if possible, Don Pepe for a small fee outside of the weekend, and El Patio just next to the building as the last resort.

The pool was perfect and I spent many hours there. The home was absolutely beautiful with comfortable beds and amazing bathrooms. I had everything I needed in the kitchen.

We loved staying in this beautiful house. The beds and rooms were comfortable, the outdoor space was excellent, and the owners were very easy to deal with and friendly. The location was very good too, quiet yet central. Highly recommended.

Spacious house, everyone has comfy beds and enough room to move around. The staff was also very accommodating and has assisted us with what we need.

It was excellently appointed with lots of cutlery and crockery (of which we only really used the glasses!) The layout suited us well. The shower in the back bedroom was enormous and powerful, although there was a bit of a wait for hot water!

The location is only several blocks from the centre of town and there are several small grocery shops close by. The property is very private but very light and airy,with its own private pool and sundeck which was fantastic as the weather in Merida is generally quite hot and humid.All of the rooms are generously sized with firm comfortable beds and have A/C and ceiling fans and generously sized ensuites. It also has a garage to fit a mid sized car only (Don’t rent a large car) which very made life very simple as it’s difficult to park in the area.We initially had an issue with the WiFi which when mentioned the Owner personally came and replaced the unit immediately-very kind of him and worked perfectly.

Beautiful house in a great location in central Mérida. 5 minute walk to the central plaza with loads to do. Pool was lovely for cooling off in the heat of the day. Lots of space. Would comfortably sleep 8 if people didn’t mind sharing beds.

The location is great, you are literally 5 minutes walking from the main square of Merida. An another great thing is the private parking inside the house. It has spot for one single car but it turned out very useful for us! Each room is having its own AC and the house is kept in great shape. Overall great experience!

Location,price ,safe location and the pool was nice

The hotel and staff were amazing! They were attentive, polite, and always willing to help. After a few days we were looking to explore the area and find a nice place for lunch. One of the servers in their restaurant recommended a local place and gave us directions to find the place. It was amazing! We did not have a single issue. We were there in the off season, and pretty much had the place to ourselves. We had dinner there almost every night, and the chef was very accommodating. It was almost as if we had our own personal chef. The room was always clean (including a towel made into the shape of various animals left on our bed (a different animal each day, and we were there for 6 days). We had a room with a private pool, and the pool was always clean. Guest services was top notch. The front desk helped us arrange a car for a wedding we had in downtown Merida. The car stayed with us the entire night, and was happy to drive us home after the reception (35-40 minute drive). All for a very reasonable price. The tour of the working hacienda was a great time. The tour guide was enthusiastic, and spoke fluent english. For someone who is looking to stay in a resort, and be able to explore the countryside, this place is perfect!

Wunderbares Hotel auf einer Hacienda - wir hatten eine eigene kleine strohgedeckte "Hütte" mit allem Komfort. Vor der Türe zwei Schaukelstühle und Hängematten und auch ein eigener kleiner Pool. Zum Zimmer wurden wir mit eine Pferdebahn gebracht. Unbedingt die Führung machen, sie ist einfach super. Frühstück dauert ein wenig, aber in Ordnung - Mexiko ist halt ein wenig anders. Insgesamt ein tolles Erlebnis. Das Haupthaus der Hacienda kann man im Rahmen einer Führung besichtigen. Besonders schön haben wir die Ruhe dort empfunden. Am Abend kann man durch die Plantage sp

Ya habíamos visitado con anterioridad esta hacienda, pero solamente para almorzar o hacer el tour. En esta ocasión decidimos pasar una noche para vivir la experiencia del hotel y no nos defraudó porque aunque la parte del hotel es relativamente nuevo, el concepto de habitar construcciones típicas mayas con toques refinados complementan la experiencia de revivir el pasado de una típica hacienda henequenera. A los que ya hayan visitado otras haciendas de la región y les han explicado el funcionamiento de una hacienda, les recomiendo plenamente que visiten la Hacienda Viva Sotuta de Peón, pues ahí conocerán el proceso antiguo y moderno del Oro Verde como se le llamaba al Henequén. El actual dueño de la propiedad se esforzó por encontrar, comprar, transportar y armar la maquinaria que se utilizaba en otras partes del mundo para procesar la fibra de henequen en los productos finales. En resumen, el tour en si es una gran experiencia y complementada con habitaciones refinadas, con un par de restaurantes con buena comida típica de la región hacen que el viaje valga la pena. Las instalaciones son increíbles: jardines espléndidos, piscina grande y atractiva, y habitaciones deliciosas, especialmente las que tienen piscina privada. La rusticidad del hotel es aparente porque cuenta con todas las comodidades. El personal es amabilísimo y dispuesto a solucionar cualquier dificultad. La cocina es muy buena y su barman estupendo. Es un placer estar lejos de la ciudad, sin televisión, pero buen servicio de internet. Todo invita a la relajación.

Beautifully restored building in the heart of Izamal. Comfortable beds and decent shower. Lovely courtyard with many options for relaxing. No problem parking right in front in the street. Really enjoyed the authenticity and care that was put into this historic building. It was like staying in a beautiful museum. And the location was perfect for walking the entire town and coming back for a dip in the pool when the weather got too hot in the afternoons. We debated coming to Izamal and it ended up being the most picturesque place on our entire trip.
