Hotel facilities are exceptional. the beach area is gorgeous with the greenest water ever. water sports were great (SUP, kayak). the room we had (facing the sea) was spectacular. best of all: the people of Bahamas running the whole place. EXCEPTIONAL. Thank you Nicole for the birthday serenade. It almost brought tears to my eyes. Genuine people. The restaurant was great. The infinite pool next to it after a dip on the beach was a refreshing welcome. The side of the beach we stayed at was quiet with all couples. We loved it. The grass throughout the beach area and pool was fine, like golf course. So you can walk barefoot everywhere comfortably.

My husband and I, and our 1yr old spent a week at the Cove. We can’t wait to go back! The hotel grounds are well designed—lots of privacy and room to roam around. Landscaping is beautiful. Grassy hills, trees, cliffs, etc. They took advantage of the views and natural beauty. Our room was wonderful. Spacious, modern and in great shape. The beaches are beautiful, well maintained and have gorgeous, calm water. Beaches have more than enough loungers--spaced out for privacy. There are lots of paddle boards, kayaks and snorkel gear available (free). They have ample staffing at each beach if you need towels, drinks, etc. The infinity pool is up on a hill between the 2 coves. Great views, but it’s breezy up there! I think on the website it says that they have 3 restaurants. Not quite true—it’s really 1 restaurant/1 menu with 3 different seating areas. The dinner menu changed every day. The food was fantastic--varied, fresh and delicious! It’s not bland “resort” food. Portions were generous. Presentation was wonderful. They have a kids menu and an infant menu. Kids menu: good variety, reasonable prices. Infant menu: good variety and free of charge. Staff was amazing! Every person we encountered was genuinely friendly, helpful and made us feel at home. They each went above and beyond where ever they could. The resort is pretty remote. This was a positive for us. If you want to relax, swim, kayak, snorkel on gorgeous, quiet, private beaches—this is the place for you!

We just returned very rested and recharged from the most magical family trip to The Cove at Eleuthera in the Bahamas. It honestly felt like we had landed on another planet - called Paradise - one where time slows down, no one’s in a rush, and everything is insanely beautiful. The resort was so peaceful, so private, and so naturally stunning. The turquoise water, the white sand, the swaying palms, the sunsets, the private swimming coves, the snorkeling, the ocean hammocks, the live music, the infinity pool... it didn’t even feel real. Like living inside a dream you don’t want to wake up from! The food was incredible (we’re still talking about the sushi and island cocktails), but what really made it special was the amazing team—so warm, kind, and thoughtful. You could feel the heart in everything they did. They knew all of our names and we knew all of their names, and it was only a 4 night stay. My daughter even said it was the best vacation we’ve ever taken—and that’s saying a lot. We’ve been to Hawaii, Mexico, South America, Europe, and beyond, but there was just something about The Cove that felt sacred. Like we were exactly where we were meant to be. Already missing it...

My wife and I had an overall positive experience at The Cove. Everyone on staff was very courteous and professional from the front desk, manager, bellman and waitstaff. Overall, the resort is very beautiful. You can tell it has been remodeled but it is tastefully done. If you are adventurous the bikes are helpful to get away and see a few sights and eat lunch at either Laughing Lizard or Daddy Joes. We also went into G-Town for the liquor store and the restaurant Unca' Gene's (worth the ride) As for lounging around the resort, you can't do much better as the hammocks, paddle boards, beach, pool and etc are all fantastic and conducive to just chilling and falling in and out of sleep all day. We recommend the jerk chicken and goat cheese wrap for lunch and the sashimi for dinner. Food overall is excellent at this resort.

This hotel is absolutely superb. We stayed in a garden view room which was really nice, modern and spacious. We even had a private cabana if we wanted to have a private breakfast. The experience is fantastic from start to finish: the minute you arrive at the hotel you already have the feeling that the staff will do evrything to make you stay something to remember. The hotel is designed for total relaxation. The private beaches, the infinity pool, the sunset bar, even the grass around the complex made you want to walk barefoot everywhere. The restaurant is very good... A bit pricy though... As are the coctails. The sushi bar is a great touch. We went there with my wife and would definitely go back again.... Its one of the best hotels we have been to.

This was our first Sandals vacation and it was a great one. We enjoyed it enough to book another one for Barbados next April while we were there. The food was good for the most part. The seafood restaurant was under renovation while we were there which took over the lunch and dinner buffet unfortunately. Pool chair saving started at the ridiculous times between 5am-6am between the alarm setters and butlers who were first to swipe them with the room coolers. Kind of annoying but as long as we could grab one for our things we enjoyed being in the pool for the most part. Don’t expect a chair at the quiet pool at all unless you have a butler. Music from the dj at the LOUD pool plays the music so loud at times that you can’t have a conversation or just relax let alone be able to communicate with a bar tender at the pool bar so they screw up loads of drinks which really isn’t their fault with how loud they blast the music in these poor bartenders ears. Staff was very nice overall but don’t expect anything in a hurry cause they’re definitely on island time but so were we so life goes on. Their piece of a private island across the way (5 min. boat ride from their own pier) is a good grab for a half day or so with a pool, a calm, clean beach and water and a restaurant with a pool bar and patio bar as well. The lack of children at the resort is worth its weight in gold between all activities and restaurants. That alone is probably worth sticking to the Sandals business model. Book it.

All the staff were great for the most part some that stood out were the Piano Bar Bartenders, especially “happy” when he was not there Thursday people would aske for him and when they were told he was not there they would leave. He is great with people, has a great personality and someone can explain a drink to him and he can make it. The other young lady, I can’t think of her name, had been there a short time was also awesome with a great personality. Carlton the Bar manager was great and we seen him at different places all day helping out and making sure the bars had what they needed. There was Female Bar Manager, the night of the 24th, that was the most un-professional of any of the staff we encountered our entire trip. She was not concerned about what the bartenders needed but upset about people leaving the pool and dropping glasses off at piano bar. When the bartender tried to take them out she made her return them to the piano bar. All in front of patrons at the bar. Two hours before we left Dante, from loyalty and travel, found us by the pool and explained to us how the process worked to book another stay without actually locking in a specific date. Without him doing this we would not have scheduled one, because of our changing schedules. On our way out we were fortunate enough to talk to Ricky Ricardo and he was one of the nicest people we met here, that is saying a lot. He was a wealth of knowledge about the island and solidified our decision to come back.

The property was absolutely stunning and gorgeous! It was so well kept! Absolutely everyone, no matter what their job was there ,was extremely friendly and kind and willing to do anything they could to make your stay great! The food in every restaurant we ate at was absolutely delicious and servedso beautifully. No matter who served us they were so kind! We were so impressed and we had such a good time. We were there for five days! We were never bored even just meeting someone in the hall, they would say good morning or good evening or can I do anything for you Love the fact that there was a quiet pool and another pool if you wanted more action. Love the fact that it was only 21 and older so you didn’t have to listen to kids. The variety of foods were outstanding and every restaurant was different! I cannot say enough good things about Sandals!!!! They had shows at night that were so entertaining! Everything was just gorgeous! They went out of your way to set things up for you and make everything so easy so you didn’t have to do a thing! They treated us like a king and a queen! Whatever you wanted even if it was more work for them to go get, they did it for you!!! It was the most perfect vacation place we have ever been to! From the resort itself to everyone that worked there to the restaurants to the shopping to the grounds to the wonderful rooms, to the ability to take you to another part of the island. I absolutely highly highly recommend this resort!!!!!

To many pool chairs taken by the butler service and then not being used by the guest, while other guests were left with no chairs to use around the pool.

We loved the organization. From the service at the airport office, the transportation, the handling of our luggage and the service at check in - check out. We loved the food, the facilities, the pools, the sea. The only thing that was perhaps missing was having someone who speaks Spanish. Luckily we found an intern named Alan who spoke Spanish and helped us a lot. Although the staff who attended to us did not speak Spanish, they made a great effort to understand us and for us to understand them, but there are always some details, especially when one has just arrived that one likes to hear in their own language so as not to miss anything. Once one is enjoying the services of the resort it is easier to make oneself understood. For the rest, except for a waitress who surely got nervous because she did not understand us, everything was excellent. This resort is excellent for couples or groups of friends looking for a quiet and pleasant time.

Private swim pool carved out of beach coral rock with ocean flowing through. Unbelievably cool!!!! Extremely private. Beach barista makes best mango daiquiri in world- yummy. Walking distance from airport if lightly loaded. Prices high for everything. Come loaded and have a good time.

Very beautiful place, 2 sea water pools and one small beach, but you are shuttled (free) to other huge beaches, kayaking, sailing, snorkeling. Nature lovers will melt on every spot there. Food - good but extra and not too budgety, coffee - bad. No shopping. The island is 50 years back in time. Bring extra cash to rent a car, a boat. No wifi in most rooms, have to go to the office. Sea water in the shower. Left side driving.

My wife and I saw this hotel on HGTV beachfront bargain hunt Caribbean. We flew there from N.J. via Nassau Bahamas. Then we flew to the Stella Maris Hotel located on Long Island in the Bahamas east of Florida the beaches run from the north to south. Like most of these remote islands, the roads are in typical island condition, ie. pot holes and unpaved roads. There are rocky beaches and choppy seas on the east side, the west side are white fine sand stretches with towering palms. The water is calm and you walk a considerable distance in shallow water. There are lot's of spots for beach combing. Stella Maris Hotel near the northern part of the island. The hotel has a nice bar and dining room and the staff are VERY friendly and accommodating. The food was freshly prepared and delicious. Have fun!

Zimmer in gutem Zustand, Bett bequem, AC leise. Leider kein Wifi im Zimmer (nur im öffentlichen Bereich). Das Hotel liegt ca 5 Minuten Fußmarsch vom Strand entfernt. Positiv war das Angebot die Gäste kostenlos morgends und mittags zu verschiedenen Stränden zu fahren. Dort konnte man segeln, Kajak fahren, schnorcheln oder entspannten. Am besten hat mir der Cape Santa Maria Beach gefallen. Auch kostenlose Fahrräder waren vorhanden. Nur für das Ausleihen der Schnorchelausrüstung musste man zahlen. Essen und Bar war ok, wenn auch nicht günstig (Frühstück 10-16$, Abendessen 20-45$). Sehr freundliches Personal. Transfer zum Airport 10$, zum Hafen 30$

Jill & Joe are amazing, friendly, understanding, generous & really exemplify long island, as you would expect after meeting their parents Gabby & George. We went here for our honeymoon. We felt as if we were the only guests on the island, that's how attentive the owners and staff are. The food is amazing here. Don't fly into deadmans cay, fly with Joe or southern into Stella Maris. The other guests treated us like family, we've never experienced island living and culture like Stella Maris on long island offers. I count the minutes til I can go back.

Nothing bad to say about the hotel. Its a very nice villa oriented hotel with paths that lead to a very sweet stretch of beach. The lobby area has a very Victorian feel to it and the rooms themselves are nice. They are a bit dated and probably require some upgrading and some paint, but it's not like you go to Harbour Island to stay in the room. The Four Seasons it's not, but it's still a very nice place. The Blue Bar was really cool, wish they had some TVs in there for the Superbowl. Staff were very helpful on all counts. pros: location, rooms, private decks and service. Cons: Pool is in a terrible location. I guess when you have that amazing ocean who swims in the pool? Blue Bar seemed a bit sleepy to me, but perhaps it was the time of the year. Looks like it could be a buzzy spot. Not cheap. Get yourself a golf buggy and fill your fridge with booze to avoid paying at the hotel. Would stay at PSR again if I went back to Harbour Island.

The Pink Sands has a great location with secluded homes and cottages on the best stretch of the beach on the island The beach is raked daily. Each unit is unique with spaces to meet every need. The 3 bedroom home with a cottage and pool provided a great space for a multi-generational family vacation. The house was top notch but the cottage was in need of attention. Housekeeping, while adequate, could use improvement. If you are not satisfied, let the front desk know and the staff will fix it. The staff is accommodating and arranged all of our tours and reservations. Malcom 51 is top notch in food and service as well as the Blue Bar with great drinks and a beautiful view. Breakfast and lunch were a treat and they offer beach service, which you can request from the the beach shack attendant. A great island experience, would not hesitate to rebook as we throughly enjoyed our five night stay. Remember, you are on the island so enjoy the pace.

Pink Sands is a tropical paradise! We had a fabulous two bedroom villa with a cottage in the garden with a third bedroom, all ensuite with both indoor and outdoor showers. The garden and pool were amazing - well equipped and maintained regularly. The resort itself is easy to navigate but we hired a golf buggy which allowed us to buzz down into town and enjoy the local shops and restaurants. The famous pale pink beach is gorgeous, the waters so warm - what a treat. We'd come here again in a heartbeat.

This is a fabulous resort!! If you are looking to be in a secluded and very quiet resort, this is the place for you. They are currently installing a new infinity pool which is the only thing missing right now. The food is also amazing. Thanks again for a great visit

Ocean access. Need a gift shop. Pool by the water.

Nice property. There are a few waterslides, a jumping rock, a lazy river and a small beach at your finger tips. Enough to keep the kids occupied for certain. The hotel wasn’t too busy in June when we were there - could get seats easily before cruise- goers arrived for the day. The water sports are an extra fee and the restaurants on site are ridiculously expensive unless you’re okay with $400 dinners for a family of 4. Always a 10% VAT fee added and always an 18% service charge added no matter what you’re buying a where. There are a few places within walking distance but they are only open when the cruises are at port. All inclusive paperwork seen at check in but adv to us that it is not an option. The rooms are clean and have a beautiful view but you only are allowed one chair on the balcony for ‘safety purposes’ so that’s a bummer. Funny because our son was hurt on premises bc it’s so slippery but the chair is a concern on the balcony. Some of the staff is nice and some not - like anywhere else. There a nice infinity edge adult pool on the 4th floor which I couldn’t check out bc traveled w kids and a rooftop bar that was closed out entire stay. Buffet is also turning in his grave that there’s no swim up bar here. Bahamas just gorgeous water. It was a a nice trip overall.

The resort was very neat, room was well made and clean and beautiful. All rooms facing the ocean. Amazing resort for children and preteens, the water park, lazy river, the 10feet jump into the pool, jacouzi and the best part for my kids was the surfing simulator, that was a hit. For adults, an infinity pool and jacuzzi with a bar nearby. The activities on the beach all included in our stay. The resort is located near a lot of activities, so walking distance. We had an amazing week, my 2 preteens were never bored. Our only issue was that the toilet was clogged twice, and they came to fix it. My overall complaint is that the restaurants at the hotel were super pricy, a simple burger is around $32.

We enjoyed the location of this property. It was walkable to downtown, shopping and various restaurants. The view from our balcony was wonderful. As well as a beautiful view of the beach and we were able to watch the various cruise ships come and go. One negative was the fact that the hotel sells day passes to the cruise ship passengers so that they can use the beach and pool facilities. We were there for 5 days and were unable to find a chair at the beach or pool area for 4 out of the 5 days. Margaritaville tends to cater to the cruise ship passengers while neglecting the guests staying at their hotel. I would not consider staying here again.

Room service could do a better job with cleaning. Staff friendly but waiting for the 2 orange juices and 2 mimosas by the pool area/infinity pool by the beach took like 25 minutes and there was 3 bartenders and just 4 of us.

I want to start to give Kudos to Mark who was at the front desk as we checked-in. Mark was super friendly, very professional and has such a positive vibe. Now in regards to our stay, Initially I was quite upset with their houskeeping service as I had an issue that was not resolved until I was superbly furious and had to physically head downstairs to request to talk at some point to the general manager on our 3rd day, however, that changed when finally the management team seriously listened and resolved the incompetency as it was the simplest issue that could have been resolved without the need for all the fuss. But kudos to the mangement team and I appreciate when they followed up and made our stay a more relaxed one The facilities are good the hotel is cleaned and maintained quite frequently including the pools. Most all staff was very friendly and helpful. The concierge was great and helped us reserve an excursion with ease. The food options/restaurants were limited and sometimes might not fully operate,food was decently well. The great thing about the Hotel's location is that you'll have other food options that are a 5 or 10 minute walk around downtown or you can take a taxi; you also get to see the city and access other places like the straw market. Frankly, we won't visit the Bahamas again due to how expensive it is and not as what we expected, but If I ever do I would certainly stay at the Margaritaville. Suggestion: Install filtered water stations on each floor

Was great, thy knew a louder geoup was coming so they moved us to a quieter spot with an upgrade. Super friendly, changed the linens every 2 days. Th pool was nice and the grounds were very secure. Beautiful landscaping.

We were there as a family for a memorial service. The peoperty was besutiful, quiet and the staff was helpful, kind and very friendly. We would definitely stay again.

Perfect for a family to stay and spread out. Only issue was no one was ever in the office.

The atmosphere was amazing my wife loved it will definitely be booking again. The only thing we didn’t favor too much was the minor noise that the air conditioner was making whilst running

Although the staff was very pleasant, the property is in need of many upgrades. Every time we showered, the water leaked. We had to use every towel available on the bathroom floor. The furniture in the room was old and rusty and the tile was chipped. The pool deck and poolside furniture could definitly use an upgrade too. I wouldn't recommend dining at the hotel restaurant. The food was horrible but the drinks were good.

The staff was very welcoming especially the welcome guy i believe his name was clyde. . Our room was clean and comfortable. We felt totally safe . The down side was the cement around pool needed painted and pool furniture was dingy and worn . Beach towels were in need of being replaced. Overall our stay was good and a great location . We walked everywhere. Beach was right across the street. Weather could not have been better!

The staff was kind and professional, and the hotel couldn't be closer to the beach. The pool and poolside tables are lovely, and the gym is well-maintained.

From the moment my husband and I entered the hotel we felt so appreciated and welcome. I have the Marriott Bonvoy app on my phone and was able to put in request for room type, etc before arriving. Kendra checked us in, so sweet, accommodating, professional, personable! We mentioned we were celebrating our 41st wedding anniversary, and could not believe the response we received. All of the employees were saying "Happy Anniversary!" as we passed them in the hallway, the bar, etc. They made us feel so special. Clyde, the welcoming committee connoisseur, bent over backwards to make sure we had everything we needed, and more....so great. I've read other reviews saying the hotel is old, worn down, needs remodeling, etc and that the employees are not caring. Well, I believe those people are just unhappy, having totally unrealistic expectations. The hotel is beachfront, and we all know how unforgiving the ocean, winds, etc are on a home, building. I did not see/experience any of the falling apart parts of this hotel. They have a beautiful outdoor pool, with a lot of lounge chairs, a bar, etc. We had a corner room, upper floor, with views of the beach across the street. Our king bed was super comfy, even had a mini-fridge. Nice soft towels, the AC worked great, and was spotlessly cleaned. I can highly recommend the Marriott Courtyard Nassau Downtown/Junkanoo Hotel, it was a wonderful visit and would love to stay again in the future.

This is on the opposite end of the island from to loud noise of town. Get a rental car if you will be there long. Only 1 restaurant on premise. We loved the pink Octopus restaurant and the beach club. Totally worth the daily fee for access. I think the listing should mention bottled water. We were told at check-in, after our can had left that the water was not safe to drink from the tap and we had 30 min. Until the dock cafe close sed to go get water or we would need another taxi to a store outside the resort. We brought coffee but there was no coffee maker, only filters and a tea kettle. We made due using the filters and a strainer. Everything else in the unit seemed brand new like it had just been constructed. Right next to the pool and a pretty walk to the beach. The marina is beautiful and the views from the restaurant were amazing. We had a great time with perfect weather. We would return.

It's remote, quiet, and luxurious. We enjoy grocery shopping and preparing our own meals. The beach is exceptional.

They need to properly sanitize . I think mold is in the building. I couldn’t stop sneezing.

Condo was impeccable. Very clean with great amenities. Beach was nice and the gym facility was very good. Grocery store 1/2 mile away was a huge plus. Be prepared to rent a car to get to food or activities.

The property is lovely, the views are splendid. You must know what’s included in your stay. Don’t look at videos on insta and plan, that’s what I did, and then found out the hotel which is bimini world, has the most beautiful beach (beach 360) a must visit, then the infinity pool (written in very small letters) but find it and go for the sunset. The food around the town is good but even Hemingway at the Hilton wasn’t bad. The lobby bar had good pizza and the fries were fresh. The pool bar was nice too.. watch out for the happy hour. It will certainly make a difference. If you would like to tip, don’t include it on the bill, just carry some cash and tip. The staff can be rude but guess that’s in the air here, don’t accept happy smiley faces just enjoy your views.

Fancy and definitely expensive. Service are a litle slow . A/C is hard to keep at the desire temperature during the day but in the night it will go as low as you want. Swimming pools are very nice, specially the infinity pool at the 5th floor. Transportation is fairly easy.

The hotel is very nice and pretty. All the staff was friendly. They didn't have our booking information when we arrived, even though it was paid in full, we are not clear if this was an Expedia or a Hotel's flaw, but they booked a room for us at that moment and all was OK. They provide no information about the resort and amenities when you arrive, but we approached the concierge and she answered all of our questions. The rooms are roomy and comfortable. The restaurants have good service and even when they are full, they sit you in another area and make it work. I found the food to be OK (meh) in flavor and quality, not great, and I wish they would have another (additional) cuisine option such as Mexican or Italian. The alcoholic drinks were not great either, but OK. A lot of the food/drinks tasted pre made. The lobby serves Starbucks, which is great. The hotel uses paper straws but use a lot of plastic cups and styrofoam containers, it would be nice if they were more environmentally friendly. The beach is amazing, really worth the trip and stay, and it's a short Golf cart ride away. The beach has plenty of umbrellas and chair and a convenient restaurant/bar on site. The three pools are very different and cater to a different type of guest which is good. Overall it's a very nice property with great service and views.

First, I do not recommend the partial ocean view rooms. They overlook the busy, noisy street and ours overlooked the dumpster. Ocean view was very minimal. We were unable to use the Beach 360 club on a few of the days because the hotel was catering to the cruise line passengers. Everything was very expensive. I received an email several days prior to leaving offering an upgrade. Upon arrival, the staff had no indication of this and stated there were no upgrades. I asked again the next morning and was told to check back in an hour. Again there were no upgrades. We proceed to spend the afternoon at the rooftop pool which was nice but absolutely freezing and the hot tubs were not working. We left to get dressed for dinner only to get locked in our room as the door handle broke. The staff jumped on this immediately and gave us an upgrade that they all of a sudden had available. After that, the stay was nice and relaxing with a lagoon view room. All the food was extremely expensive and with not much else to do on the island we pretty much stuck around the resort.

The apartment we stayed overlooks the pool. Access to the beach is easy. The beach area is fantastic, very quiet. There is a restaurant next to the beach area. The resort provides chairs and umbrellas.

Our (3) adjoining room (sleeps 6) but has a pull out so can accomidate larger groups came with dishes, pots/pans, large fridge, oven, etc so prepared some of our meals. There are also a couple bbq grills between the pool and beach so cooked fish one evening with what we caught from the fishing charter we did that day. A few blocks away is the Sandyport Village it has a couple restaurant/bars, a coffee/smoothie/breakfast place, mini mart (Chippys) with alcohol, sunscreen, snacks and awesome Jamacan Patties! The resort has snorkel gear, basketball, etc which is great not needing to pack those. The resort beach and (3) pools and (2) water slides are a few steps away and has a pool bar with an awesome staff. Tanya and Bas were so nice and really took care of us. Note ATM on property but can walk about 1/2 miles to another area that has a supermarket, bank/ATM, Wendys, bathing suit/sporting store, etc. Also, that is where you can catch the bus for $2 and go to downtown, fish market, Atlantis, etc.

Unpretentious but immaculate, extraordinary views from low rise bahama cottages of white sand, calm turquoise lagoons, canals, and pools with fun private beach bar with scratch tropical drinks, cold beer, panini and other foods and special events that make meeting other guests relaxed and fun. Plenty of loungers and private hammocks. Its what you see in the pics but so much better! Chill professional staff, total serenity and security, anything you need or want five minute walk away, including a marina, many shops, pharmacy, bank, watercraft rentals, four very good restaurants, one serving a semi-private snorkel beach. We’ve traveled great islands, and 30 minutes from Miami, this can’t be beat for families and couples wanting a serene, joyful waterside experience without loud crowds and faux celebrity amenities. Rooms larger than most and can be joined very pretty, not worn, comfortable with very good amenities. Ice, laundry nearby. We loved #712 with a large patio three steps down to the sand, hammock, and lagoon, 6 palms to the pool bar. Really great front desk and concierge. Every staff we met was polite, immaculately dressed, genuinely happy with their job, unobtrusive, and eager to share the serenity and beauty of their end of the island. Our stay at SandyPort Beach Resort was relaxing and delightful. The property is very conveniently located in a compound that has multiple meal and restaurant options including a super cute coffee shop that is a great cocktail lounge in the evenings. There are multiple water options within walking distance from the hotel—a beach, a lagoon, and a pool area that even has a two slides. The resort has a comfortable homey vibe that feels relaxing and safe. Oh and the chicken wings by the pool side restaurant are delicious! We had an issue with our door lock while we were there and they immediately sent a repairman to fix it within minutes. The room was simple but beautiful. You can tell it is a little worn with age but they have done a nice facelift in the rooms. All in all I would certainly return.

The location was wonderful near a gas station with store called "chippy's", wine tasting shop and other shopping boutiques. The resort was more intimate than the larger resorts and felt more private and exclusive. The lagoon and private beach was wonderful to wake up to every morning. The three pools with water slides were perfect for the kids. The pool side bar called the "Conch shack" had great food, drinks and friendly bartender staff and chef. There were several restaurants close by and walking distance from the beautiful cable beach. I will stay here every time I visit the Nassau.

British Colonial Here is our honest review of our stay at the British Colonial Hotel, and Downtown Nassau; The Hotel itself is very nice, having been recently renovated in 2022. The lobby is gorgeous, as are the restaurant and bar. Very tasteful and classy. The grounds and pool areas are immaculate and lovely. 1 main pool and a secondary shallow pool for kids, (although we didn’t see many kids there during our week there), presumably due to the cost. We had no problem finding lounge chairs, or a good spot by the pool. The private beach area is spectacular…gorgeous turquoise and super-clear water. Can’t say I’ve ever seen a nicer beach with such powdery sand. Great views of the port and cruise ship terminal too. Location is an easy 10-minute walk to downtown. Although this may seem to be a good thing, the whole downtown core becomes a ghost town after 5pm. According to the locals, this is because the cruise ships re-embark around that time. We struggled to find any decent sit-down restaurants for dinner every night…very frustrating! You must take a taxi to find a nice place to eat. Even Senor Frog’s was closed after 5. Our room was a decent size, but only had one chair, and no couch. We had opted for the king ocean view, and got a partial ocean view, but a great view of the cruise terminal, so we could see the comings and goings of some cool huge ships. The room had some cleanliness issues, mostly that the shower had some mold. Otherwise, it was okay. Staff are super-friendly

The hotel is wonderfully located at the heart of Nassau, you can grab a bite to eat, take a stroll to nearby beaches, catch tours. It's an architectural marvel from the outside and tastefully furnished inside. It was a comfortable stay. I also loved the beach, it was quiet for Nassau with chairs and umbrellas, the pool area is also super gorgeous for a good day of relaxation. Special thanks to the hotel, I requested an early check-in and it was organized in time for my arrival. Finally, the staff were all amazing, from the doorman to the front desk and even poolside. Absolutely gorgeous hotel with staff that are out of this world! Wonderful dinner in the tavern, great lunch by the pool, beautifully kept pool and beach areas! I am a solo traveler and it was very safe! I highly recommend!

Recently renovated hotel with clean rooms, clean facility, helpful and super-polite staff as well as a great clean beach. Poolside was also clean and full of energy. We spent most of our time by the beach which had pristine waters. Rooms were clean and well attended to during our stay. Overall, the beachside was quiet. The hotel has an app that you can send your requests for any type of room service. The poolside lunch and drink options were good and well-priced so we did not have to get anything from outside. The fitness room was well maintained and a lot of good equipment options. Also, the hotel offers complimentary canoes to be enjoyed by the guests. The complimentary wi-fi connection was fast and seamless.

Overall, I think the British colonial is good value for moneys. It’s a beautiful hotel with a lovely small beach with plenty of chairs available. It has been renovated recently and looks new and fresh. The location is convenient to downtown. However, I have mixed feelings: here are the pros and cons Pros • Beautiful beach with soft sand and a gentle bottom • Friendly, welcoming staff • Good on-site dining options and a coffee bar • Walkable distance to downtown • Outdoor amenities including a fire pit and movie nights • Comfortable beds and quality pillows Cons • Adult pool is small and shallow • No on-site spa (access available at Margaritaville) • Cabanas cost $250/day but offer no shade • Limited shade overall; umbrellas are closed in even light wind, unlike other hotels with better solutions • Hallway noise is easily heard in rooms • inconsistent poolside service • No airport shuttle; transportation costs $50 USD each way • Very limited area for swimming or paddleboarding • Constant looped lounge music on the beach, plus noise from Señor Frogs and neighboring bandstand • Cruise ship horns can be disruptive and impact water safety • TVs do not support Netflix or paid movie rentals • Extra charges at check-in and mandatory Visa deposit slow the process and frustrate guests • Had to request an itemized bill multiple times

This was the our 1st visit to the Bahamas. The Baha Mar was the perfect resort for an amazing experience. It was perfect for couples and families (adult and children). The resort is beautiful, sprawling and incredibly maintained. They had a ton of pools, so every day was a different experience. There is plenty of comfy conversational seating to just sit, relax and enjoy the scenery. Most impressive was the staff. So friendly and attentive. Everyone works so hard to make the experience wonderful. Every meal was delicious, fresh and served with enthusiasm and a smile. The pool and beach attendants made sure that all guests were comfortable. We were so impressed with the lifeguards - so on top of keeping everyone safe. We spent one day in absolute luxury at the Baha Mar beach club and reserved one of their Waterbeds which overlooked a beautiful infinity pool with an incredible view of the beach. The cost of the bed is credited towards food and drinks. Was such a special experience. We loved the people, the waterpark, the beach, the food and the resort so much we are already planning our next return.

the resort is beautiful, clean & very large our room in the East building was awesome with beautiful views of the ocean, beach & pool areas. we had a large deck with comfortable chairs. we had a very large bedroom & bathroom with a nice living room. It did include a butler for some services needed the restaurants were delicious but it is pricey, Marcus is the best but you have to try Costa at the Rosewood cabanas were nice to have since it was a busy week of vacation with people with kids. there are adults area pools all the staff was so friendly & helpful love this place, looking forward to coming again!!!

I was extremely nervous about staying here after reading reviews, but my experience was great. The room was beautiful and comfortable. Although I would have preferred a better view of the ocean, I was overall satisfied with the accommodations. The staff on the property was very friendly and personable, contrary to the reviews I read before arrival. This is a family-friendly property, featuring seven pools with access to the adjacent hotel's (SLS) pools, including a water park. There is also a flamingo sanctuary and aviary. In addition, there are several restaurants and shops to enjoy.

We had a wonderful experience during our stay, and a big part of that was thanks to Anthia, our poolside waitress. She is an incredibly kind and professional lady who made us feel welcome and well cared for. Her attention to detail, warm attitude, and genuine smile added a personal touch that made our time by the pool even more enjoyable. Anthia was always attentive without being intrusive, and she made sure we had everything we needed, often before we even had to ask. Excellent service from an excellent person. The facilities are very well kept and everything is very clean. The amenities for the beach and pool are included and easily reachable/accessible. The pools were also nice and the temperature was awesome even later in the evening. The gym was also nice. The food at the restaurants was of good quality and the portions were generally big. I also appreciated the reusable water bottles that were given to us, and the many water stations available throughout the resort.

We specifically stayed in the One Particular Harbor residences which is affiliated with Margaritaville but a separate building and facilities. We loved this unit, lots of space and the grounds are beautifully maintained. These units in OPH have a private pool and beach which are not available to the cruise people coming ashore.

We stayed in the 1 bedroom suite with my husband & our two kids (12 & 5) and we had a wonderful stay at One Particular Harbor Margaritaville! The views were incredible and we loved watching the cruise ships come & go from our balcony. Getting to watch the sunsets was my favorite part of our stay! There’s a private pool, 2 beaches nearby, free access to the waterpark and many excursions that can be booked. We saved some money by going to the grocery store and getting breakfast items to cook at our suite! The staff is very friendly, the doormen were always so kind & funny and help you out with calling taxis if you need it! You won’t regret staying here, we already miss it being back home now ☹️ we’ll definitely be back!

Our room was exceptional! There was a pool right outside our building that was very quiet. There are 3 pools total on the property, one being an adult only rooftop infinity pool. Great views! Service was great! The sushi restaurant on the property was fantastic! The property is right in the heart of the city. Drinks were fantastic! And all of the staff were really wonderful.

Beautiful property with great amenities and friendly staff. They have their own beach area. We stayed at their residence building, One Particular Harbour, which had its own private beach and pool area. The pools are massive. The hotel itself is decorated tastefully and is modern. Our room is was very spacious and the balcony had excellent views overlooking the pool and ocean.

Ocean West Boutique was a great place to stay! From the staff, being super polite and helpful to a great location this place has it all. You’re looking for a big resort like Atlantis and or Baha mar. This place is not for you. I’m not sure how great this location is for children as there is not a lot of amentities besides the pool on this property however, If you are looking for a Hideaway, that is a beautiful place to stay that’s quiet and quaint, then this is a place for you. There is a big hill that you need to walk up to get to and from the beach or any other location such as Sunset bar and a couple of other food places/downtown however, if you are not afraid to walk in sightsee you can definitely make this work without using any car or bus transportation. This place was a gem among other hotels and resorts on the island, and we were very blessed and happy to stay. There would definitely stay there again!!!!

Absolutely loved our stay here! Gorgeous views, nice pool, in walking distance to the beach and a few restaurants. Some people didn’t like the beach but we felt it was perfect to lay out on, it was quiet and non overrun by tourists which was great. We spent every day there! We loved the Sunset beach club which is right down the hill from the hotel, do yourself a favor and get the shrimp tacos!! Such a pretty place to watch the sunset. We had the best 5 days here and left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated, we can’t wait to come back!!!

We were so thrilled with our hotel and room (Topaz). Super high ceilings, light and bright space. Plenty of character! Loved the balcony overlooking the pool and ocean. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating! Attentive drivers on standby to take us to nearby restaurant, and pick us up when we had eaten. We opted for breakfast in our room - actually al fresco. It's too bad we only stayed one night. We will for sure be back! High Recommend!

This hotel has great staff, is very clean, and has a great pool and balcony views. It's a short (but not cheap at $30) drive to the nearest beach, which is also gorgeous, and there are a few good restaurants in walking distance.

I thought I was booking a quick airport hotel after our trip. What pleasant surprise! Beautiful grounds with a great pool and gorgeous ocean views. A quiet and relaxing oasis in the middle of hectic Nassau.

Atlantis is unbeatable in terms of the experience. Being able to walk outside and see pools full of stingrays and sharks and sea turtles is amazing. Being in walking distance of a dozen pools, multiple beaches, and of course free access to Aquaventure water slides. The stingray experience was amazing and the highlight of our trip! We got to stand in the pool and feed them as they swarmed around us, and then snorkel with them. I was a little upset about seeing the tiny pool full of sea turtles at first but later learned that they would be released to the wild. Specific to The Coral: some reviews say that it's too far from the water park. That's crazy, it's less than a 10 minute walk. The room was beautiful and super clean and having a full balcony was really nice.

We come twice a year for many many years My only issue I had with the trip this time the. Room wasn’t super clean the floors were very dirty, I was so happy to see floors instead of carpet but it was clean. And for the VERY first time the Coral pool was not well maintained there was a lot of garbage all around Fruit and straws in the children’s pool I kept having to grab stuff from my grandson to toss out of the pool That was really gross

We had an excellent stay at the Coral Atlantis. Staff and service were hospitable and excellent. Easy access to all the resort, waterpark, ocean and beach. Loved eating at Murray's Deli, reasonably priced and large, delicious meals for all times in the day. Shark bites (pool bar) near the pool had very good food as well and convenient with my son at the waterpark all day. Shake Shack was a go to option as well and delicious black and white shake (vanilla and chocolate fudge swirl). A number of reviews comment on how expensive it is to visit this island and resort but if you plan well with snacks, it is very comparable to a five star all inclusive elsewhere (money wise). Difference is Atlantis is way more fun, large waterpark with numerous slides and lots to do for kids especially. We also prefer ordering fresh meals rather than an overload of food at a buffet. Would highly recommend visiting Bahamas and the Atlantis Resort. Hope to see you again in the near future! Thank you for your warmth and hospitality! So much fun, so enjoyable!

We stayed at the Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island in the Bahamas. This is an incredible resort - perfect for family vacations (with kids of all ages), as well as for couples. They have a water park on the property, five beautiful beaches, more pools than we could count, shopping, a casino, multiple on-site restaurants, and outstanding exercise facility (with outdoor lap-pool), and an activities center where you can swim with dolphins (which we tried, and is so much fun). The only hitch with vacationing here (for us) was the expense. Everything here is expensive (from simple shopping to particularly meals) - you will pay New York City-level pricing for meals. But once you make peace with the expense, you will be hard-pressed for a better place to vacation.

I read so many not so good reviews about the coral. We stayed there 5 days and it was great, the people are so welcoming, our room was clean, big, with a nice view of the pool, the hotel has so many options for stores, restaurants, activities for the whole family. You have the casino, the theater, the marina, everything right there. The whole Atlantis property is great, we enjoyed the beach at the cove, the pools and the slides including leap of faith. Food is pricey but you can find some good options that are cost effective. Our bahamian experience was one that we will not forget!

Restaurant is nice but very pricey also not much vegan option. Overall it’s a luxury experience and very relaxing vibe

The Island House is exceptional. We had a cottage that was spacious. The patio area had a table and seating for 4 people-- a great place for breakfast. It was a few steps from their gorgeous pool and a short drive to the beach (they take you in a private car). The food was amazing and the beds were comfortable. This hotel is a tranquil retreat geared towards adults but is also child-friendly. The service is top-notch and very friendly. We ate lunch poolside and enjoyed breakfast at Yellowbell. We ate dinner at Shima and Mogano and enjoyed our meals at both establishments, although the curry dishes at Shima stood out. Perfection. You will not be disappointed.

We had a wonderful stay at the island house. Spectacular food and drinks. The private beach was paradise (although service at the beach wasn’t as good as at the Island House). The staff were fantastic, very kind and attentive. The facilities were top notch- high end treadmills, pool was quiet and great for doing laps or relaxing. Never had to worry about getting a place to sit by the pool in the shade. Don’t miss the Market which has packaged food and drinks (on the property but hidden a bit!). Highly recommend and we will go back.

I must say the ambiance was very soothing and their employees were quite engaging(our server in particular). My family and I dined at the restaurant by the pool. We enjoyed our food while relaxing at the poolside. Our server Dom in particular made the experience for us. His engagement with my family made it easy to relax and enjoy our time. The food was also amazing I highly recommend going !

First time here and what a place ! We were not expected such a beautiful hotel and pool. This is like a dream. Quiet place, not crowded at all. This is a perfect place for anyone looking for a nice and quiet place in a more than beautiful spot And thx Dom our pool server for the service. I

A little piece of paradise! We loved this place. It's not fancy - don't expect five-star amenities; however, it is simply perfect. Our cottage sat right on the beach and we felt we had the entire place to ourselves. The beach is simply stunning and there's loungers and huts on the beach for the residents. Wifi worked great while we were there. Even though there's no cable, we were able to stream from some apps. Beach bar was closed because of slow season, so I can't speak to it, but it's in a very convenient location. Staff were SO nice!! We can't wait to return to this amazing gem of a place!

We stayed in one of the beach-front bungalows. The feeling of going to sleep and waking up to the sound of the sea is incomparable. The beach in front of the hotel is one of the best on Exuma Island for swimming and spending the day. The room is comfortable, spacious, and clean. The staff was cordial in giving us information about services on the island and also when I needed to reschedule a boat tour. In addition, they let us do a late checkout. It is a place I would like to come back to.

The property is like your own paradise! Tucked away from the hustle and bustle. The staff is amazing and genuinely care about your comfort! Cocoplum Bistro which is on the property is fabulous! Give Rudi and Tonya a hello from Vickie and Stoney!! Loved them. On your taxi ride in, get them to stop at a local store to grab snacks and such, it will save you a trip… because you really don’t want to leave.

It’s rare to meet someone so professional and welcoming! The room was very spacious and spotlessly clean, which made our stay even more comfortable. Individually built beautiful, roomy huts, colorfully painted! The beach infront of the property is beautiful and has small area coral reefs. The property provides snokling masks that one can see beautiful tropic fish! One can see sunset and sunrise in addition to stars! The people there are so nice and helpful! It's close to airport and the port for boats. The restaurant on site is exellent! We loved the food there and the service!
